GCCA CLASSIFIED GLOSSARY
- The Mark (Lichtenberg Scar)
- A fractal, star-shaped burn on the palm of a Wrangler. It is a biological receiver, allowing communion with (and manipulation of) geothermal entities. Required for all GCCA operatives.
- The Meadow (Yellowstone National Park)
- The unofficial term for the Yellowstone caldera. Viewed by the GCCA not as a geological feature, but as a living, conscious entity that requires 'quiet' to remain dormant.
- The Nomad
- The original black rail car (1885) and its modern successor (2025). Serves as a mobile HQ, research lab, and containment unit. Equipped with a Resonance Table.
- Quiet (Protocol)
- The primary directive of the GCCA. To maintain geological and social silence around the Yellowstone caldera, preventing panic or disruption that could awaken dormant entities.
- Shale-Hound (Class II Entity)
- Pack-hunting entities composed of shifting basalt and obsidian. They detect heat and vibration. Susceptible to 440Hz sonic interference (Keely Fork).
- Sentinel (Class III Entity)
- Massive, crystalline pillars of living quartz and steam. The 'organs' or 'limbs' of the Meadow. They communicate through infrasound ('Deep Song') and can cause localized seismic events.
- Zone of Death
- A 50-square-mile legal loophole in Idaho where no jury can be seated. Used as the clandestine headquarters and primary containment area for the GCCA.
