What do political candidates, debt collectors, insurers and thieves have in common? They are all buying your most personal information from data brokers. Here's what they are using it for.
Political candidates
Politicians and their campaign teams have long targeted voters and potential donors by combing through things like public property records and voter registrations to find out how often you vote, what your home is worth and what party you are aligned with.
But now they're able to learn even more about you.
By buying reports from data brokers that track your purchases, web surfing habits and social media activity, political candidates can now figure out the issues you support, how much money you earn and the best way to reach you.
"(Big Data) tells us who they are, where they are, how old they are, what they like on Facebook, what they talk about online—and what they dislike," explained Jake Rosen, a Fleishman-Hlllard strategist, in a 2012 report about campaign use of data analytics.
The problem is that many Americans have no idea that they're being profiled, said Jeffrey Chester, executive director of the Center for Digital Democracy.
"Not only do you have no idea, but you have no way to control that process whatsoever," he said.
Debt collectors and repo men
If you're being hounded by a debt collector or repo man, don't be surprised if they seem to know an awful lot about you.
That's because companies in the business of tracking people down often buy a variety of information to aid in their efforts.
TransUnion's subsidiary, TLO, for example, says on its website that it will sell reports to debt collectors that include your Social Security number, cell phone number, details of the property you own, even the names of the friends and family you hang out with.
Under federal law, your Social Security number is fair game to be sold to debt collectors since it's being used for credit-related purposes. Although, in many cases, debt collectors already have your Social Security number.
And that's just the beginning. Some data brokers collect information gathered by license plate scanners to track "vehicle sightings," which provide the physical location of cars. They then sell that information to repossession companies and other firms.
In a report last year, the American Civil Liberties Union said these private databases raise "serious privacy concerns," in part because they aren't subject to any data security or privacy regulations.
Hospitals and insurers
Insurers, hospitals and other healthcare providers say they are purchasing consumer data to help patients live a healthier lifestyle. But privacy advocates think it's slippery slope.
Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina says it buys consumer data in order to identify members who might benefit from extra tools or treatments for various health issues, like obesity or diabetes.
Meanwhile, Carolinas HealthCare System, a network of hospitals, medical centers and doctors offices in North and South Carolina, is experimenting with combining consumer data with medical records to predict things like a patient's risk of having a heart attack.
"We can provide benefits to our patients with the same mechanism that are used to sell people more stuff," said Dr. Michael Dulin, the system's chief clinical officer for analytics and outcomes research.
Citing the company's contract with its data broker, Dulin wouldn't disclose the exact kinds of data being used. But he said the information will not be shared with other parties.
While federal law dictates that a person's information can't be used to outright deny them insurance coverage, privacy advocates say there are other issues at stake.
Consumer data collected by data brokers can be "startling inaccurate," for example, said World Privacy Forum Executive Director Pam Dixon. "Are hospitals using inaccurate data to do [this] analysis?" she asked.
Thieves and scammers
Hacking into your computer isn't the only way criminals get their hands on your personal information.
In some cases, thieves have been able to purchase names, addresses, financial information and even Social Security numbers from data brokers.
Credit giant Experian, for example, acknowledged that one of its subsidiaries unknowingly sold the personal data of millions of Americans -- including Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers and addresses -- to a fraudster in Vietnam, who then turned around and sold the information to identity thieves around the globe.
Experian has said it was an "unfortunate and isolated issue," but legislators have said such cases highlight the need for increased regulation.
Charities
You may want to think twice before writing that $25 check to your favorite charity.
Small gifts often barely cover the cost of soliciting that donation. As a result, many nonprofits will turn around and sell your information to make a profit, according to watchdog Charity Navigator.
Some sell or "rent" their donor lists directly to other charities, but others work with middlemen who then sell the donors lists to countless other organizations. The charities buying your information will then likely pepper you with their own solicitations.
"You get put on a sucker's list," said Ted Claypoole, a privacy attorney and co-author of "Privacy in the Age of Big Data."
To avoid ending up on the list, you can either write a much bigger check (charities tend to closely guard the personal information of their largest donors) or check a nonprofit's privacy policy before donating.
According to Charity Navigator, nearly half of nonprofits require donors to opt out of sharing their information or they have no policy at all.
Colleges and universities
Big Data is big business for colleges and universities.
Seeking to boost donations, many colleges and universities are buying data about alumni -- tracking everything from what type of car you drive to where you work.
The goal: to pinpoint how likely you are to give back, and how much. The more likely you are to give a big gift, the more mailings you will receive.
Schools are also using massive databases to try to get students enrolled in the first place.
Lists of millions of high school students, sold by The College Board and other groups, provide everything from their test scores and intended major to the sports they play, their ethnicity and whether their parents went to college.
University officials say the data helps them target students who are the best fit. But data privacy advocates like Dixon worry that the information could be used to discriminate.
"That's information that students should choose to give to schools, not what schools should be able to buy without the students knowing it," she said.

New computer analysis by UK researcher Richard D. Hall has revealed that an anti-gravity remote controlled UFO drone may have been used to hit World Trade Center tower 2 on September 11, 2001.

Mr. Hall’s analysis of a possible an anti-gravity remote controlled UFO drone used to hit the World Trade Center on 9/11 is the subject of an exclusive ExopoliticsTV interview by Alfred L. Webre with UFO, reverse speech and video analysis expert Jon Kelly (Vancouver UFO Examiner).

According to Mr. Hall’s analysis, a remote-controlled anti-gravity UFO, clearly visible in video footage, was intentionally guided into World Trade Center tower 2 on 9/11. News and other video footage showing images of a jetliner hitting WTC tower 2 is due, according to Mr. Hall’s analysis, to after the fact editing.

“By destroying the delivery vehicle in the process of delivering an explosives payload to the WTC towers, one can reduce the opportunity for witnesses to make sense out of the attacks. According to Richard Hall's presentation, covering up the real events with video manipulation was important to the controllers behind the scenes of 9-11.”
Mr. Kelly states,
“The strategic model is not unlike a VBIED or a truck bomb, where a truck filled with explosives drives to the target then detonates.”
Mr. Kelly concludes,
“In Richard Hall's version of events, a VBIED in the form of an exploding UFO strikes the WTC. Mr. Hall clearly demonstrates that the raw video of this event was edited using masks and layers to produce a fictional visual account of the events of 9-11 for distribution as news by the major media. The raw video, sourced from a VHS recording is not a high resolution recording. However, it does convincingly display a metallic, reflective saucer-shaped vehicle in a steady, controlled descent into the WTC tower.”
In the ExopoliticsTV interview, Jon Kelly states,
“Mr. Hall’s hypothesis also resolves long-standing questions regarding the pod-shaped object protruding from the bottom of the jet airliner as it crashes into the tower. Mr. Hall describes the pod as the remnants of the UFO saucer mixed with the overlayed jet airliner video image. The overlay did not subtract the saucer from the frame, but combined it visually with the airliner.”
Mr. Kelly concludes,
“If this very expensive technology was deployed for this purpose, it represents extreme hubris and arrogance on the part of the deployers. Why did they need to do that? To show off to themselves? To show off to someone else? As an ultimate act of perversion?

9/11 - Showcase for exotic military-intelligence technologies

9/11 as a multi-dimensional false flag psyops appears to have been designed as a showcase for the leading edge of U.S. black budget military-intelligence technologies.
 
 

Quantum access Tesla-based time travel
The first among these exotic technologies was quantum access Tesla-based time travel technology, developed in DARPA’s Project Pegasus (1968-72) under the policy oversight of then Nixon cabinet member Donald H. Rumsfeld.
 
Mr. Rumsfeld was later to play a pivotal operational role in the 9/11 false flag as U.S. Secretary of Defense on September 11, 2001.

A key whistle blower, Andrew D. Basiago, has emerged with evidence that secret U.S. time travel technologies were used as early as 1971 to acquire first-hand documentary knowledge about September 11, 2001 - fully three decades before the horrific events of that fateful day.

Mr. Basiago, a child participant in DARPA’s time travel program, Project Pegasus, has publicly stated how in 1971 he viewed moving images of the attack on the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001 that had been obtained from the future and brought back to the early 1970’s.

DARPA is the chief research and development arm of the US military, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.
 
DARPA created the precursor to the Internet, “Arpanet,” and has a penchant for trumpeting its advances, such as putting surveillance cameras on the backs of bumblebees and other exotic achievements in military science.

Mr. Basiago claims that DARPA’s secret technical accomplishments go far beyond what it has publicly acknowledged and that by 1970 DARPA had achieved teleportation-based time travel as well as advanced electro-optical means of discerning past and future events via different technologies that provide quantum access.

Mr. Basiago has described how while serving in Project Pegasus, he viewed moving images of 9/11 at the secured U.S. defense-technical facility where they were processed after being retrieved from the future, the Aerojet Corporation facility that once stood at the corner of Bullock Avenue and Leroy Place in Socorro, New Mexico.

According to Mr. Basiago’s whistleblower testimony, Donald H. Rumsfeld, the sitting U.S. Secretary of Defense on September 11, 2001, was the defense attaché to Project Pegasus during the early 1970’s, when Mr. Rumsfeld was officially serving as a counselor to President Nixon and member of his Board of Wage and Price Stabilization.

In all likelihood, Mr. Rumsfeld, as the defense attaché to Project Pegasus, would have known about and possibly had control over the data about 9/11 derived via “quantum access” and brought back to the early 1970’s for analysis by the DARPA research and development program under his administrative authority.

Mr. Basiago’s eyewitness account that Secretary Rumsfeld and others knew about 9/11 decades in advance because data about it was gathered via DARPA’s secret time travel program unlocks several of the more enigmatic facts in the 9/11 literature and may be the key to society’s unraveling of the ultimate accountability for the false flag operation that took place on September 11, 2001.
 
 
 

Andrew D. Basiago answers questions about Project Pegasus and 9/11
Q: Why would the US take part in 9/11?

Andrew D. Basiago: What I know is that in the early 1970's, Project Pegasus had moving images of one of the planes hitting one of the Twin Towers on 9/11; that 9/11 was known and spoken of by project principals; and that the defense attaché to Project Pegasus was Donald Rumsfeld, the individual who was serving as Defense Secretary during 9/11.

The evidence from Project Pegasus shows that the US government knew about the 9/11 attacks many years in advance, not necessarily that it "took part" in those attacks.


Q: If Project Pegasus knew about 9/11 before it would happen, why wasn't 9/11 prevented from occurring?

Andrew D. Basiago: That's a good question. What I know is that it was the consensus of the US officials administering Project Pegasus that information about future events should be used to engage in contingency planning for future events but not to "play God" and change the future by preventing or altering future events.

A paradox exists such that acting to change future events based on prior knowledge of them results in diminished accurate knowledge of future events.

So, there is an institutional reluctance to change future events based upon prior knowledge of them because of the impact of doing so on the quality of the intelligence database concerning future events.


Q: How much information about the future has Project Pegasus learned about?

Andrew D. Basiago: My experiences in Project Pegasus indicate that by 1970, the US government was using chronovision to capture remotely and record on film a vast amount of footage of past and future events. When we visited the project location at Flemington, NJ - where I was shown remote images of the signing of the US Constitution in 1787 and saw George Washington and Benjamin Franklin as they appeared in life - we could see that the technicians there were filming reams and reams of scenes of past events on 16 mm film stock and storing it in film canisters. Presumably, this process is done digitally today.


Q: Is Project Pegasus still active?

Andrew D. Basiago: I do not know whether Project Pegasus is still active, but the intelligence infrastructure that evolved from it is in all likelihood very active at this time. Project Pegasus was a small, highly secret research and development program launched in the late 1960's.

However, the technologies that it developed gave the US government the keys to past and future events.

My guess is that the quantum access capabilities that Project Pegasus provided the US government are now headquartered at some form of national intelligence center that provides the President, the intelligence community and the military information about future events.


Q: Was just the military involved or was the government also involved?

Andrew D. Basiago: Project Pegasus combined individuals employed by the US military (Navy, DARPA), the US intelligence community (CIA) and civilian defense contractors (e.g., Parsons). It was a research and development program of the US Department of Defense (DoD).


Q: How could a father actually put his son through all of these violent and possibly fatal transportation experiments?

Andrew D. Basiago: It is my position that my father and I were proud to serve our country during its hour of maximum danger and were also privileged to be involved in America's early activities in time-space exploration.

My father did not involve me in Project Pegasus. Rather, we were approached by the US government and told we had to be involved for reasons that remain a mystery.

In all likelihood, we were identified by project personnel from the future, who knew from the perspective of their time that we had been involved in the program, and hence we were brought into the program to create the future program that had knowledge of our past involvement.


Q: Why was not an adult the one transported so that the information brought back might be more precise?

Andrew D. Basiago: Children were involved for five main reasons.
  1. First, we were experimental test subjects into the physical and mental effects of teleportation on children.
  2. Second, we were necessary participants because the holograms produced by the chronovisors would collapse if adults were involved and so small, cooperative, intelligent human beings were needed as the time travelers in the chronovisor probes, and therefore a decision was made to involve gifted and talented American school children.
  3. Third, we were regarded as better participant-observers of the past and future events accessed in the program because children are tabula rasa - blank slates whose perceptions are not skewed by the selection bias produced by their previous experiences.
  4. Fourth, we were trainees who were expected to become America's first generation of "chrononauts" in a fully fledged time-space program when we grew up.
  5. Fifth and lastly, the Department of Defense found that when adults were involved in time travel, the psychologically destabilizing effects of moving between alternate time lines was causing some adult time travelers to become insane, so it was hoped that by training time travelers from childhood a competent cadre of US time travelers could be formed.

Q: How could a child possibly be put through all of this and also remember everything he saw or even understand what he saw or heard?

Andrew D. Basiago: I am a gifted individual with exceptional powers of observation and memory. These gifts were identified when I was being trained in Project Pegasus. In one test, I recited back random numbers provided to me verbally to 84 places.

I was identified as the future whistle blower about Project Pegasus even while I was still serving on the project. I have spent over 10 years investigating my experiences and proving them to an historical certainty. I am an individual who did remember what I saw and heard, so it is not valid to say that I couldn't have done so because a child couldn't or shouldn't have been able to.

That involves the fallacy of using the general to refute the specific. I not only remembered much of what I saw and heard, but I later wrote it down and went back and investigated it and proved my memories.

Consequently, I am now able to provide an insider's account of the US government's time-space program at the time of its emergence in the late 1960's and early 1970's.

    “Two robust WTC buildings with very robust steel beam reinforcement would release a sizeable amount of kinetic energy from the buildings falling - that would be all of the energy that went into the construction of the WTC buildings. The release of that amount of kinetic energy is not reflected in the physical evidence on the seismic record. Into what physical process did that kinetic energy go?”

     
  3. Molecular Dissociation:
    “The collapse of the WTC buildings produced the highest mass per volume of very fine particles (nanoparticles) ever measured in an air sample in the United States. It takes a tremendous amount of energy to dissociate or break the molecular bonds of steel, concrete and other building materials that were “powdered” into very fine particles during the collapse of the buildings.

    The largest mass per volume of metals ever measured in an air sample in the US were reported by Dr. Thomas Cahill who did air monitoring for 5 months. Metal is used in buildings because it is very strong - and would require large amounts of energy to reduce it to nanoparticles.

    Chemical explosives do not release enough energy to produce that volume of very fine particles. A much more energetic process was involved such as laser or beam energy which releases focused and concentrated energy as complex waveforms necessary to cause molecular dissociation.”

     
  4. Physical Evidence of Buildings Collapsing:
    “In videos of the collapses on 9/11 the WTC buildings erupted into emulsion like a drinking fountain, and the rubble did not hit the ground. Even on tape huge pieces of aluminum building siding vaporized as they were freefalling, and never hit the ground.”

     
  5. Controlled Demolition:
    “The [collapse of the WTC buildings] was not a 'controlled demolition' for the following reasons:

     
    • WTC Detritus Pile
      “Should have been 1/3 the height of the WTC buildings. The 100+ story WTC buildings were about 1 story high when the collapse of the buildings ended. A fireman on one of the news videos said the antenna that had been on the top of WTC Building 1 was on the top of a pile of rubble about one story high. The rubble pile should have been 35 stories if it was a conventional controlled demolition.”
       
    • WTC Rubble Never Hit the Ground
      “This defies gravity, where did the rubble go?”
       
    • Footprints
      “Geometrically Round Holes: contiguous round holes 24’ in diameter were in the footprints of the WTC buildings 1 and 2, and a 60’ deep geometrically round hole was in the middle of Liberty Street near the WTC. This is evidence of beam weapons. There was no debris inside the footprints of the two WTC buildings, only bare dirt with circles in the dirt.”
       
    • Dust
      “In videos of the collapse larger particles fell and cascaded down from the buildings under the forces of gravity, but before they hit the ground they vaporized and suddenly went up into the atmosphere like an antigravity demonstration. Nanoparticles are so tiny that they are not subject to the forces of gravity, so molecular dissociation occurred on the larger particles as they were freefalling, reducing them into nano-particles (0.1 microns in diameter and smaller) that suddenly obeyed other physical laws of quantum mechanics. More evidence of [directed energy weapon or] HAARP/beam weapon technology applied during collapse.”
       
    • 9/11 Satellite photos
      “[9/11 satellite photographs showed] dust going into upper atmosphere - which had to be nanoparticles and may have been enhanced by other technology because most very fine particles/dust would stay in the Troposphere and be rained out in 2 months as we know from depleted uranium particulate releases from battlefield already.”

      “Located blocks from the WTC buildings, with door handles missing, engine blocks missing, blistering on some parts of the car finish, strange rust patterns on the bodies of the cars.”

      “In a news video, the entire pile of cars started burning spontaneously at the same time with no visible cause, it was not a fire that started in one car and spread to others.”

      “On cars and trucks, and in FEMA photos there was heavy rust on steel beams - steel does not rust, and it is a slow oxidation process that results in rusting of iron. This rusting happened immediately.”
       
    • Basements of WTC Buildings Undamaged
      “Stuffed mannequins in the basement of WTC with clothing on were carried out of the basement undamaged. If a 100+-story WTC building collapsed into its basement and left a 35-story rubble pile, there would be nothing left in the basement. Even streetcars underground at the WTC were pulled out after the collapse and had no damage.”

They did not address the ‘steel does not rust’ issue, but dodged it by referring to the rusted steel beams in the rubble pile as ‘iron beams’ and gave mineral analyses of iron minerals produced by oxidation.”

      “Spectral absorption images at the WTC indicated average particle size was about 1 micron, which is subjected to gravity and would have fallen with the collapsed buildings. Cancer Death Rates Now Doubled In Argentina’s GMO Agribusiness Areas

Data linking GMOs and pesticides to human health ailments continues to emerge, as a new report put together by the Ministry of Health in Cordoba, Argentina has found that increased levels of crop spraying in Argentina’s most extensively farmed areas has resulted in a large increase of cancer rates for those that live in the vicinity.
According to the report, deaths from cancerous tumors have as much as doubled in areas where genetically modified (GM) crops are grown and agro-chemicals are used. That’s not really surprising, given the fact that numerous studies have linked them to cancer, and other detrimental health ailments.
The highest death rate was recorded in the ‘Pampa Gringa’ area. This is where most GM crops are grown, and the most pesticides are used, it makes up a large portion of the Cordoba region. This area and other areas in the region have cancer rates that are way above the national average.
According to GM watch:
“The international standard is to calculate deaths per 100 thousand inhabitants. The provincial average is 158 deaths per 100,000 inhabitants, and in Cordoba Capital the rate is 134.8. But four Cordoba departments are well above those rates: Marcos Juárez (229.8), Presidente Roque Sáenz Peña (228.4), Union (217.4) and San Justo (216.8). It’s called “pampa gringa”, the emblematic area of Cordoba agriculture” (source)
Experts from the region continue to stress that this is no coincidence.
“There is evidence of high levels of genetic damage in people of Marcos Juarez, which may result from unintentional exposure to pesticides. ” -Fernando Manas, PhD National University of Rio Cuarto (source)
According to GM watch, Researchers at Río Cuarto have studied the people of Córdoba for several years and have confirmed, in fifteen scientific publications, that those exposed to pesticides suffer genetic damage and are more prone to cancer. Other studies linked in this article also confirm it. Manas recalled that in the Marcos Juárez province, glyphosate (and its major degradation product, AMPA) have been detected in lakes, soils, and even in rainwater. 
This isn’t something new, the toxicity of pesticides has been known for a very long time, and there is more information on that later in the article.

Government and Industry Refuse To Act

According to the ecologist, researchers and doctors in the region have been upset with the government because of their delay and unwillingness to take action.
Dr. Medardo Avila Vazquez of the University Network for Environment and Health (Reduas) said:
“What we have complained about for years was confirmed and especially what doctors say about the sprayed towns and areas affected by industrial agriculture. Cancer cases are multiplying as never before in areas with massive use of pesticides.” (source) Dr. Medardo Avila Vazquez of the University Network for Environment and Health 
Damian Verzeñassi, a doctor and professor of social and environmental health at the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Rosario, says:
“The study of Córdoba matches the surveys we conducted in eighteen industrial agriculture areas. Cancer has skyrocketed in the last fifteen years.” (source)
He is upset about the failure of government and industry to take preventative action:
“They keep demanding studies on something that is already proven and do not take urgent measures to protect the population. There is ample evidence that the agricultural model has health consequences, we are talking about a production model that is a huge public health problem.”
The official publication is in book form and titled “Report on cancer in Cordoba 2004-2009.” It was prepared by the Provincial Tumor Registry and the Department of Statistics and Census. It was introduced in the legislature by Martin Alonso, the director of the Provincial Cancer Institute and Francisco Fortuna, the director of the provincial cancer Institute.

They Just Keep Saying ISIS Is Going to Attack America’s Electric Grid

Leading into another 9/11 anniversary, the normal al Qaeda scarefest is nowhere to be found. This year’s fearmongering is all about ISIS, and September started by taking the rhetoric up a notch.
Back in August, it was all about how ISIS is tremendously well-funded and like nothing the Pentagon had ever seen and another 9/11 was on the way. Then we were told an ISIS terror attack on American streets is highly likely; so likely, in fact, that an Imminent Terrorist Attack Warning By Feds on US Border alert was released featuring the possibility that ISIS groups operating out of the Mexican border city of Juarez might attack the U.S. with car bombs, although no specific threats had been received.
Then we were told that there are nearly a dozen jets missing from war-torn Libya which could be used to strike 9/11-like targets.
The new and latest September-fresh talking point is that ISIS is going to attack America’s ‘frail and vulnerable’ electric grid. Frank Gaffney, founder and president of the Center for Security Policy in Washington, has actually given it the monicker “grid jihad.”
Not only that, but they are being VERY specific on exactly how ISIS could commit this act and all the ways it could cripple the country if they did.
At a recent press conference, Dr. Peter Pry, a former CIA officer and head of the task force on National and Homeland Security, went on record that America’s power grid faces an “imminent” attack by ISIS — and the media has run with it.
 “There is an imminent threat from ISIS to the national electric grid and not just to a single U.S. city,” Pry warns. He points to a leaked U.S. Federal Energy Regulatory Commission report in March that said a coordinated terrorist attack on just nine of the nation’s 55,000 electrical power substations could cause coast-to-coast blackouts for up to 18 months.

“The Congressional EMP Commission, on which I served, did an extensive study of this,” Pry says. “We discovered to our own revulsion that critical systems in this country are distressingly unprotected. We calculated that, based on current realities, in the first year after a full-scale EMP event, we could expect about two-thirds of the national population – 200 million Americans – to perish from starvation and disease, as well as anarchy in the streets.” (source)

So glad he’s busy giving out precise instructions on exactly how to accomplish this. Let’s continue.

“All they’ve got to do is contact the Knights Templar, wire these guys $10 million, I mean they’ll do anything for money. And say, ‘Hey, go across that open U.S. border and take out the electric grid in Arizona, or New Mexico, or Minnesota or New York. Or the entire nation.’”
Oh so knocking out the grid would run them about $10 mil?

“Unfortunately, there’s a lot to evidence that enemies of this country have figured out that if you attack that very vulnerable grid, they could cause cataclysmic damage to the American people,” Gaffney said.
Gaffney says the “domino effect” of an attack on the electric grid could reach all corners of the country and be deadly.
“Water requires power, food requires power, transportation requires electricity, finance, telecommunications,” explained Gaffney.

At this point, all the bases on this scenario have been covered. The only thing they didn’t do was give senior ISIS leadership a tour of a major power plant, complete with fake badges and blueprints as take home souvenirs.
If these experts and reporters have left any detail to the imagination on exactly how ISIS could carry this plan out and what precise steps are needed to make it a reality, I’m not sure what that is.
The repeated talking point also seems noteworthy, considering  that one of the last warnings former Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano gave to her successor in an ‘open letter’ before heading out the door was that a cyber or physical event that knocks out the power grid will occur – and it was not a question of “if” but “when.”
That’s in addition to last November’s massive emergency drill dubbed GridEx II [PDF] specifically for grid takedown scenarios which involved thousands of agency officials North America-wide, including those from Mexico.

Mr. L.B. shared this article with me, and it’s so thought-provoking I had to pass it along, because it raises the implicit cosmological choices behind the transhumanist agenda. Just by way of refreshing our memories, when Dr. Scott D. deHart and I were writing Transhumanism: A Grimoire of Alchemical Agendas, we struggled to find a way to explain it. We finally hit upon the idea that what it really was was not only a kind of alchemy, but an alchemy rooted in a fundamentally materialist cosmology, as it sought to “re-ascend the ladder” of alchemical descent from androgyne through mineral, vegetable, and animal man via the creation of technological chimeras using Transhumanism’s four favorite technologies, the GRIN technologies – genetics, robotics, information processing technologies, and nano-technology – to engineer, chimerical creatures and blends with man. At the top of this ladder – what we called “alchemo-mineral man” – was the fusion of man and mineral, i.e., of man and silicon in the form of computer chips, and so on.
But there’s another implicit danger, and this interesting article does a fairly good job of outlining it:

Now don’t worry, I’m not into the practices of “astral projection” or any other of these “spiritual practices” being suggested here. Indeed, I have profound reservations about many of them. What the article does do is remind us of a very important point: the choice of a “transhumanist life” is also the implicit choice of a cosmology by which one intends to live one’s life. Mind you, I am not talking about a Parkinson’s victim choosing a chip to help deal with the tremors associated with it. Rather, I am talking about the more genuinely transhumanist agendas of “memory enhancement,” and “downloading and uploading’ a person’s memory; I am talking about the use of genetic and nano-technologies to extend human life spans dramatically, into, conceivably, the realm of “virtual immortality.” I am talking about those “telepathic” technologies referenced in the article itself, and about which I blogged previously this week. I am talking about what the article is talking about: the implicit possibility that an individual person could, by dint of the technology itself, be more or less chained, perhaps indefinitely, to the material world, and not allowing consciousness or personhood – whatever one wishes to call it – to “move on” even if he or she wanted to. And for those genuine materialists out there, for whom emotional and intellectual life is nothing but the sum total of chemistry and electronic impulses and so on, the prospect is no different. One can easily imagine reaching a stage of weariness and moral apathy, a kind of sociopathy we can only guess at now.
Either way, in other words, the choice to walk down the transhumanist path is a cosmological, and yes, spiritual choice. Indeed, as the article itself points out, this could actually serve to deaden human consciousness (howsoever one accounts for it), and make such humans truly post-human:
“While spiritual awakening sets consciousness free from the limitations of the body and the five senses, depending on a body integrated with technology for evolution and heightened perception only serves to further bind our existence and perception to the the transient material realm, which is only a small part of our existence, and has a definitive end. Furthermore, altering the body with technology could interfere with our natural capacity to use our time in the physical world to awaken consciousness”
In other words, transhumanism, as Dr. de Hart and I tried to show in our book, is a cosmological choice, and ultimately, the choice of a “closed system.”

It has now been reported on C-SPAN that well over 2200 qualified architects and engineers have literally demolished the official 9/11 Commission Report and there’s nary a peep about it on CNN … or FOX News … or CBS … or MSNBC!

There’s no in depth reporting about numerous engineering, architectural and metallurgical impossibilities asserted in the official NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology*) reports.  The NIST is literally permitted to violate laws of physics and chemistry, architecture and engineering, without any scrutiny or critical thinking from the Fourth Estate?!

That there are virtually no media interviews conducted by the MSM with these distinguished researchers and eminent scientists who have spent years ferreting out 9/11 truth is as mind-boggling as it is exasperating.  Particularly when the 9/11 terrorist attacks have turned out to be the single greatest defining moment of the new millennium having HUGE consequences for the United States of America, as well as profound impacts on the entire community of nations.

“Calculated and premeditated, planned and coordinated by those elements within the US Federal Government who would use the event to change the world forever” is the way one  researcher described the 9/11 terror events.  “Those who planned and executed the 9/11 attacks must have spent years tending to the many critical details required to bring two skyscrapers down into their own footprint.  They also had to have operated within the various government agencies and contracting entities necessary to gain access to highly secured buildings.  For instance the demolition explosives, which obviously brought down Building #7, would have required months of planning and placement of the charges in an ultra high security environment.” 
Many throughout the 9/11 Truth Movement have wondered just how long the MSM plans on keeping this ridiculous charade going.  With the internet on full tilt in every corner of the globe, how will the reams of evidence pointing to a completely different crime-spree scenario from the one advanced in the 9/11 Commission Report ever be contained?  Once this genie is out of the bottle — AND IT HAS BEEN OUT FOR SOME TIME — it’s out forever and with terrible consequences to those who know the real deal.
It’s very important to point out that the ever-growing volumes of high integrity evidence found on the World Wide Web have already been downloaded onto every ‘truther’ computer in sight.  Hence, this highly incriminating and incontrovertible evidence cannot be conveniently lost, as is so often the case with high level government crimes and corporate transgressions.
Therefore, we ask again, just how long did they (MSM) think they would get away with this crime against humanity committed in broad daylight in two of the most important cities on the planet?
MISPRISION OF FELONY
For those who do not know, misprision of felony is a crime when one possesses information of a felony yet refuses to report it, particularly when the individual is a federal employee.  In the case of an outright crime against humanity in which high treason, premeditated mass murder and serious acts of terrorism were committed in the course of the various 9/11 events, we have a very serious problem indeed.

Actually, the MSM has a very serious problem indeed.  More significantly, the many government employees who had to have had foreknowledge of the numerous crimes of terrorism are even more vulnerable to this indictment.  Given the normally cozy relationship between the upper echelons of government and highest levels of the MSM, there can be no doubt that the media was informed of the real 9/11  inside job so that there would be no objective reporting in real time.  Nor would there ever be any serious investigative journalism on the subject, as everyone has seen for the past 13 years.
There is absolutely no excuse for why the MSM was, is, and will be AWOL, except that they were directly involved in the 9/11 coverup.
Truly, as the 4th Estate, also known as the fourth branch of government, the mainstream media has systematically arrogated power unto itself over decades.  It actually prides itself for regularly having privileged access to inside information, especially where it concerns the inner workings of government.  Therefore, all of the corporate titans throughout the MSM must have been informed about the 9/11 plot well before its occurrence.  As they always do, their executive editors and news anchors were surely given strict orders not to deviate one iota from the “19 Arabs Did It” script handed to them … by their g-men handlers.
By the way, one major news anchor did depart quite substantially for the official, fictitious narrative — Peter Jennings of ABC News.  He came down with lung cancer and died not too long after his rebellious reporting about the 9/11 demolition of the Twin Towers.  As a matter of fact, Jennings was so distressed by what he actually saw on 9/11 that he admitted to taking up smoking again.  You really have to wonder about where he bought his cigarettes?!

The US Federal Government Narrative Was Trumpeted While The Buildings Were Still Coming Down
For those who doubt direct MSM complicity in the still raging 9/11 coverup, all that’s necessary to understand the truth is to review the worldwide media reports on September 11th, 2001.  The entire crime scene, as chaotic and mayhem filled as it was, provided the investigatory context in which the various law enforcement agencies immediately identified the perpetrators, the method and the motive.  Let’s face it, a battalion of Sherlock Holmes could not have drawn such conclusions so quickly, nor with such conviction.
And, yet, those 19 Muslim ‘terrorists’, in addition to Osama bin Laden, had already been indicted, convicted, and sentenced by every major MSM outlet in the Western sphere of influence … while WTC buildings were still burning?!
Implausible? Highly!  Impossible?  Most definitely!  Unless, of course, the concerned law enforcement and intelligence agencies were a part of the whole scheme … absurdly false narrative and all.
Because of the sheer enormity and far-reaching ramifications of the 9/11 false flag attacks, this single media strategy was essential if the real perpetrators were to successfully implement the conspiratorial plot.  By not allowing any other crime theories to be disseminated by the MSM, TPTB all but guaranteed that the typical American citizen would be imprinted with the numerous 9/11 falsehoods being parroted up to this very day.  In many cases, that imprinting seems to be extraordinarily indelible thereby providing a critical mass of extremely naive supporters of the equally spurious War on Terror.  As could only be expected, the MSM has carried oceans of water for the Feds on that score as well.
Whoever Owns The Media Dictates The Disseminated Facts, Regardless Of Their Truthfulness
Where it concerns the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the subsequent and ongoing coverup has turned out to be as great of a crime as the death and destruction wrought in NYC and DC and PA.  While that may sound incredible at first glance, all one has to do is look at the wars and conflicts which have been initiated with the clarion call —

“REMEMBER 9/11!”

The most significant take-away from this retrospective 9/11 analysis is that the Mainstream Media is perhaps as culpable as anyone is for those atrocities. Only because of their sustained protection by the MSM, do the real perps continue to avoid prosecution.  Only because the MSM promised to shield them did the NeoCon government cabal pull off 9/11 in the first place. The MSM provided extraordinary cover on the day of the attacks, and they have only diverted the nation’s attention since then to an obviously fabricated storyline.
Therefore, it is now imperative that the body politic look to those who own — and really control — the major media outlets. For it is there that can be found those who participated directly in the 9/11 coverup — the most consequential coverup in modern history.  Only by pursuing those who had the most to gain from the 9/11 crimes will there be sufficient deterrence of similar false flag operations in the future.
The alternative news media have already proven circumstantially that the 7/7/05 London bombings and 3/11/04 Madrid bombings were cooked up in the very same government black operation headquarters that hatched the 9/11/01 NYC-DC bombings.  By making short work of these trademarked conspiracies to generate terror, the alt-news realm has undoubtedly averted many a false flag over the past thirteen years.

The Mainstream Media has clearly proven itself to be the greatest enemy of We, the People.  Rather than hold government and corporations accountable for their often criminal conduct, the MSM is almost always at the scene of the crime distracting, deceiving and diverting.  This state of affairs CANNOT have a happy ending for the Republic.  Should the current incestuous relationships between these various guilty parties continue proliferate, civil society will eventually degenerate into a cross between 1984 and and A BRAVE NEW WORLD with a dose of LORD OF THE FLIES thrown in.

I.  State-sponsored terrorism conducted by the Anglo-American Axis must be stopped BY ALL MEANS NECESSARY!”

II. Mainstream Media enabling and coverups must be terminated BY EVERY MEANS POSSIBLE!

Fortunately, the alternative media is now doing its part to thwart both of these “divide and rule” entities.  Hopefully enough people will wake up to the oppressive realities all about them and take back their power starting with the MSM.
