In antiquity, the month of July was known as a rather volatile time, especially at the onset of the so-called "Dog Days" of Summer. These were said to occur with the helical rising of the Dog Star Sirius and frequently resulted in fiery weather and even fiery tempers.

"The heliacal rising of Sirius was also important to ancient peoples. Here is a dramatic description by the ancient Greek poet Aratus of Soli of the rising of Sirius (often known as the Dog Star as it is in the constellation Canis, or "Dog"):

The tip of his [the Dog's] terrible jaw is marked by a star that keenest of all blazes with a searing flame and him men call Sirius. When he rises with the Sun [his heliacal rising], no longer do the trees deceive him by the feeble freshness and their leaves. For easily with his keen glance he pierces their ranks, and to some he gives strength but of others he blights the bark utterly.

"We see that this dramatic description of the rising of the star indicates an event which was certainly noticed by ancient peoples. Throughout Latin literature there are many references to 'the Dog Days' which followed the heliacal rising of Sirius in the summer. These hot, parched days were thought by that time to derive some of their ferocity and dryness from the 'searing' of Sirius..."

The helical rising of Sirius was by all accounts a major event in the ancient world, yet, as I've noted before, there is little certainty concerning the actual date on which it began. It is most often alleged to have been July 23, though some accounts place it on the twentieth. In David Ovason's classic The Secret Architecture of Our Nation's Capital, he cites July 3 as the beginning of the Dog Days.

Either way, we are almost upon the Dog Days if not already engulfed in their fury if the current state of the world is any indication. On July 14, 2016, a terror attack was carried out in Nice, France, involving a large truck that left some 84 people dead. As can be expected, the Internet is already awash with claims of "false flag," but this is perhaps to hasty. The technocrats in Brussels are already uneasy after Brexit and French officials already fear that another large scale terror attack could have serious (har har) repercussions for one of the two nations (along with Germany) chiefly responsible for the EU. Consider the following:

"Fielding questions behind closed doors from the Parliamentary Select Committee inquiry into the Paris attacks in November 2015, the transcript of which has today been released, Patrick Calvar, the head of the Directorate General of Internal Security (RPS) explained that it was not just an escalation of the terrorists’ capabilities he feared, but also the subsequent response from what he termed the 'far right'... 

" 'I think we will win against terrorism; I am, however, more concerned about the radicalisation of society and the basic movement that drives it. That’s what worries me when I talk with my European colleagues: we will have, at one time or another, to provide resources to deal with other extremist groups because confrontation is inevitable.'..

" 'All of Europe is in danger of rising extremism so we are, domestically, trying to put in place the resources to watch far right groups who are waiting for confrontation,' he told Parliamentarians...

" 'If another attack or two occur, it will happen. It is therefore down to us to anticipate and confound all those groups who would, at some point, spark clashes between communities.' "

It may not even come to an armed revolt. Marine Le Pen was already surging in French polls prior to the nation's latest large scale terror attack and no doubt she is even better positioned after Thursday's events. And of course, there are the ever growing calls for "Frexit" as well, which could effectively be the final nail in the coffin of the EU.

This is most assuredly not what the technocrats in Brussels or the American Eastern Establishment want. On the other hand, the old guard aristocracy centered around the Le Cercle network, while once being a crucial alley of the United Europe movement, have grown increasingly Eurosceptic since the chairmanships of Lord Norman Lamont and Lord Lothian. While my inclination is that the recent attack was likely collateral damage from the disastrous US-NATO policy toward the Islamic world since 9/11, the objectives of the latter group are only going to be furthered with this latest incident.

And then there is the curious coup attempt in Turkey that appears to have been stillborn. Turkey's President, Tayyip Erdogan, was quick to blame a Pennsylvania-based cleric that was formerly close to his regime. This cleric, Fethullah Gulen, is in turn suspected to have a longstanding relationship with the CIA.

But this is Turkey we are talking about after all and there is a reason why this nation originated the deep state. Within said nation, there is a growing suspicion that Erdogan himself has sponsored the coup. Certainly Turkey and its military have a long history with coups and this latest effort seems shockingly inept, especially if it had backing from the CIA. Erdogan, by contrast, will appear as a national hero with the way cleared for him to further his authoritarian rule. He'll no doubt be greatly helped in this endeavor by being able to ascertain the Gulen loyalists and other adversaries in the military and brutally purge them.

But why would Erdogan single out a CIA-linked cleric as the coup plotter? In recent weeks Erdogan has been warming up to Putin and deescalating Turkey's recent tensions with Russia in the process. Is this the beginning of a closer relationship with Putin, one in which Turkey will bow out of NATO efforts to counter Russia?

Certainly raising speculation that the CIA was a partner in the coup will only make the pivot toward Russia an easier sell t the populace if that is in fact Erdogan's agenda. Only time will tell as events surrounding this coup are still murky at the very best and the parapolitics will likely only become apparent after some time.

But regardless, this is yet another sign that 2016 is different, a notion that gains more currency every day.

The National Toxicology Program under the National Institutes of Health has completed the largest-ever animal study on cell phone radiation and cancer.  The results confirm that cell phone radiation exposure levels within the currently allowable safety limits are the “likely cause” of brain and heart cancers in these animals, according to Dr. John Bucher, Associate Director of the NTP.
One in twelve (12) male rats developed either malignant cancer (brain and rare heart tumors) or pre-cancerous lesions that can lead to cancer.  Tumors called schwannomas were induced in the heart, in the same kind of cells in the brain that have lead to acoustic neuromas seen in human studies.  The NTP says it is important to release these completed findings now given the implications to global health.  No cancers occurred in the control group.

“(T)he animal study confirms our findings in epidemiological studies of an increased risk for glioma and acoustic neuroma among people that use wireless phones, both cell phones and cordless phones (DECT).  Acoustic neuroma is a type of Schwannoma, so interestingly this study confirms findings in humans of increased risk for glioma and acoustic neuroma.   In 2013 we called for upgrading the risk in humans to Group 1, the agent is carcinogenic to humans. It is now time to re-evaluate both the cancer risk and other potential health effects in humans from radiofrequency radiation and also inform the public.”  says Hardell.   “This NTP evidence is greatly strengthening the evidence of risk, is sufficient to reclassify cell phone radiation as a known cancer-causing agent, and confirms the inadequacy of existing public safety limits.”

The World Health Organization’s 10-year study of human use of mobile phones concluded there is an increased risk for malignant brain tumors among the heavier mobile phone users, particularly where it is used mostly on one side of the head.  The 2010 Interphone mega-study of cancer in humans using mobile phones found higher cancer risk, but at that time there was little animal testing to support the risks identified in humans.  Now, this NTP study has shown statistically significant risks with a dose-response relationship to the amount of exposure.  It proves that non-ionizing radiation can plausibly cause cancer, not just ionizing radiation like x-rays and puts to rest the traditional scientific argument that cell phone radiation can’t do harm.
Dr. Bucher said the animals’ exposure was about the same as for people who are heavy users of cell phones.  He also confirmed that the exposure of 1.5 W/Kg is lower than currently allowed under FCC public safety limits. Testing on rats is standard in predicting human cancers.
The BioInitiative Report (2014) documents nervous system effects in 68% of studies on radiofrequency radiation (144 of 211 studies).  This has increased from 63% in 2012 (93 of 150 studies). Genetic effects (damage to DNA) from radiofrequency radiation is reported in 65% (74 of 114 studies); and 83% (49 of 59 studies) of extremely-low frequency studies.
  Dr. Christopher Portier, formerly with the NTP commented this is not just an associated finding—but that the relationship between radiation exposure and cancer is clear.  “I would call it a causative study, absolutely. They controlled everything in the study. It’s [the cancer] because of the exposure. “This is by far—far and away—the most carefully done cell phone bioassay, a biological assessment. This is a classic study that is done for trying to understand cancers in humans”.

Now What?! Not One, but THREE New Calls for Crisis Actors on Craigslist

We are heading into a bumpy election season to say the least and there’s a lot going on. Coming up next on the schedule, the RNC (July 18-21) followed by the DNC (July 25-28).
And with that, not one but THREE new calls for crisis actors are out on Craigslist.
(Note: all have been archived, as these things tend to disappear quickly.)
The first is from Linxx Global Solutions, a Government contracting company looking for role players for positions in the Ft A.P. Hill, VA area for a law enforcement exercise June 23, 2016  between 3pm-1am.
It reads:

Independent Contractors will act as Role Players (RPs) by posing as hostile, friendly or neutral personnel who will support scripted/preplanned reactions and/or interactions. RPs will wear assigned wardrobe and safety equipment while responding accordingly based on the scenario. RPs may be asked to operate various small arms with blank- and paint-marking ammunition. RPs must be comfortable around military working dogs. RPs will deliver a realistic performance based on the scenario objectives for training. RPs will take directions from the Site Manager.
Candidate Qualifications:
Resident of Ft A.P. Hill, VA or surrounding areas;
Basic knowledge of small-arms handling preferred, but not required;
Must be in good physical condition;
Must be U.S. citizen;
Cannot be active duty military;
Age 18–50;
Be comfortable around police working dogs.
NOTE: This task description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Independent Contractors may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs to support the short term law enforcement exercise.

The second is for Arabic and Dari Role Players at McGuire AFB in New Jersey. The ad specifically calls for native speakers from the Middle East, “preferably Afghanistan or Iraq,” no dates given.
It reads:

We are a language and cultural training company and we provide language Instructors and Role Players to participate in military training scenarios at McGuire AFB.
Part-time job, usually one day per month on a Friday
Pays $24 per hour
No special skills needed, but MUST be a native speaker of Arabic, Dari or Pashto and be from the Middle East. Preferably Afghanistan or Iraq.
Basic English communication skills, including speaking and some reading
Must be able to email and be reachable by cell phone
Must have reliable transporation and be dependable
We participate in the Department of Homeland Security’s E-Verify program and all employees must be authorized to work in the US. Please send resume or contact information if you are interested. Thank you!!

The third is perhaps most suspect.
It’s a call for crisis actors in Burlington, VT July 26th through the 31st to be made up in moulage (fake wounds) for a large military-type exercise. Not only is this is Bernie Sanders’ hometown and the location of his campaign HQ, but the dates just so happen to overlap with the last three days of the Democratic National Convention.

The ad was put out by Foreign Language Services Simulation, LLC. The company lists its “defense scenarios” which include “simunitions” such as “AK 47 style rifles, M-4 style carbines, M-9 style side arms, pyro and many more simulated RPG, manikins, etc.”
The ad reads:

Location of work is Burlington, VT.
-Work dates are tentatively July 26th thru 31st.
NO EXPERIANCE REQUIRED
Duties (include, but not limited to)
• Support military in instructional exercises in a nearby location.
· Simulate (act in) various scripted situations with realism to assist military training. ACTOR/ROLE PLAYING
• Applicants must live within 50 miles of the training locations and have their own transportation and be able to arrive at assembly areas on time.
• Role players will be Moulage (made-up) and transported to the appropriate sites.
• Be able to work long hours during various times of the day.
• Be physically capable of working in extreme weather conditions. Role players/Actors must be sufficiently fit to participate in training.
• Some role players/Actors will get extremely wet, prop clothing will be cut off and they will be scrubbed with brushes and a lot of water (possibly cold water).
• Be able to walk long distances and stand for extended periods.
• Be able to follow scripts and specific directions from FLSS staff and the military.
• Be able to read, write and speak English.
• Role Players/Actors be able to pass various background checks.

US Marines take on Muslim Pirates

When Thomas Jefferson saw there was no negotiating with Muslims, he dispatched what is now the US Marines (sea going soldiers). These Marines were attached to US Merchant vessels. When the Muslims attacked U.S. merchant vessels, they were repulsed by armed soldiers…but there is more. merchant vessels started running the US flag when entering the Mediterranean to guarantee safe travel.

This is very interesting and a must read piece of our history. It points out where we may be heading. Most Americans are unaware of the fact that over two hundred years ago, the United States had declared war on Islam and Thomas Jefferson led the charge!



At the height of the 18th century, Muslim pirates (the “Barbary Pirates” were the terror of the Mediterranean and a large area of the North Atlantic. They attacked every ship in sight, and held the crews for exorbitant ransoms.(Sound familiar?) Those taken hostage were subjected to barbaric treatment and wrote heart-breaking letters home, begging their government and family members to pay whatever their Mohammedan captors demanded.

These extortionists of the high seas represented the North African Islamic nations of Tripoli, Tunis, Morocco, and Algiers – collectively referred to as the Barbary Coast – and presented a dangerous and unprovoked threat to the new American Republic.

Before the Revolutionary War, U.S. merchant ships had been under the protection of Great Britain. When the U.S. declared its independence and entered into war, the ships of the United States were protected by France. However, once the war was won, America had to protect its own fleets.



Thus, the birth of the U.S. Navy. Beginning in 1784, 17 years before he would become president, Thomas Jefferson became America's Minister to France. That same year, the U.S. Congress sought to appease its Muslim adversaries by following in the footsteps of European nations who paid bribes to the Barbary States rather than engaging them in war.

In July of 1785, Algerian pirates captured American ships, and the Dye of Algiers demanded an unheard-of ransom of $60,000. It was a plain and simple case of extortion, and Thomas Jefferson was vehemently opposed to any further payments. Instead, he proposed to Congress the formation of a coalition of allied nations who together could force the Islamic states into peace. A disinterested Congress decided to pay the ransom.



In 1786, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams met with Tripoli's ambassador to Great Britain to ask by what right his nation attacked American ships and enslaved American citizens, and why Muslims held so much hostility towards America, a nation with which they had no previous contacts.

The two future presidents reported that Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja had answered that Islam "was founded on the Laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Quran that all nations who would not acknowledge their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and that every Musselman (Muslim) who should be slain in Battle was sure to go to Paradise." (That's been updated, now they get 72 Virgins when they get there.)

Despite this stunning admission of premeditated violence on non-Muslim nations, as well as the objections of many notable American leaders, including George Washington, who warned that caving in was both wrong and would only further embolden the enemy, for the following fifteen years the American government paid the Muslims millions of dollars for the safe passage of American ships or the return of American hostages. The payments in ransom and tribute amounted to over 20 percent of the United States government annual revenues in 1800.

Jefferson was disgusted. Shortly after him being sworn in as the third President of the United States in 1801, the Pasha of Tripoli sent him a note demanding the immediate payment of $225,000 plus $25,000 a year for every year forthcoming. That changed everything.

Jefferson let the Pasha know, in no uncertain terms, what he could do with his demand. The Pasha responded by cutting down the flagpole at the American consulate and declared war on the United States. Tunis, Morocco and Algiers immediately followed suit. Jefferson, until now, had been against America raising a naval force for anything beyond coastal defense, but, having watched his nation be cowed by Islamic thuggery for long enough, decided that it was finally time to meet force with force.

He dispatched a squadron of frigates to the Mediterranean and taught the Muslim nations of the Barbary Coast a lesson he hoped they would never forget. Congress authorized Jefferson to empower U.S. ships to seize all vessels and goods of the Pasha of Tripoli and to "cause to be done all other acts of precaution or hostility as the state of war would justify".

When Algiers and Tunis, who were both accustomed to American cowardice and acquiescence, saw the newly independent United States had both the will and the right to strike back, they quickly abandoned their allegiance to Tripoli. The war with Tripoli lasted for four more years, and raged up again in 1815. The bravery of the U.S. Marine Corps in these wars led to the line "to the shores of Tripoli" in the Marine Hymn, and they would forever be known as "leathernecks" due to the leather collars of their uniforms, designed to prevent their heads from being cut off by the Muslim scimitars when boarding enemy ships.

Islam, and what its Barbary followers justified doing in the name of their prophet and their god, disturbed Jefferson quite deeply.

America had a tradition of religious tolerance. In fact Jefferson, himself, had co-authored the Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom, but fundamentalist Islam was like no other religion the world had ever seen. A religion based on supremacy, whose holy book not only condoned but mandated violence against unbelievers, was unacceptable to him. His greatest fear was that someday this brand of Islam would return and pose an even greater threat to the United States. (Does THAT sound familiar?)



This should concern every American. That Muslims have brought about women-only classes and swimming times at taxpayer-funded universities and public pools; Christians, Jews and Hindus have been banned from serving on juries where Muslim defendants are being judged; Piggy banks and Porky Pig tissue dispensers have been banned from workplaces because they offend Islamist sensibilities; ice cream has been discontinued at certain Burger King locations because the picture on the wrapper looks similar to the Arabic script for Allah; public schools are pulling pork from their menus; on and on and on and on….

It's death by a thousand cuts, and most Americans have no idea that this battle is being waged every day across America. By not fighting back, by allowing groups to obfuscate what is really happening, and not insisting that the Islamists adapt to our own culture, the United States is cutting its own throat with a politically correct knife, and helping to further the Islamists agenda. Sadly, it appears that today, America's STUPID leaders would rather be politically correct than victorious!
