It has been just a few days since the emotion-wrenching events took place in Las Vegas where a gunman, or multiple gunmen, opened fire on civilians at a concert killing 59 people.
It is events like these that challenge us to question aspects of ourselves as humans. Why do we have things like this playing out? What can we do to stop them in the future? How can we connect with those affected by events like this and assist them through the trauma associated with it? How can we understand the truth of what took place to get a better picture of how our world truly functions?
Regardless of whether this event was a false flag or not, there are many people affected, and many people who require our attention to bring ourselves to a state of processing what happened and ultimately attain peace within ourselves, which results in peace within our world. We can’t lose sight of that even as we dig for truth.
We are being tasked with having to solve serious challenges within our society that stem around anger, hatred, fear, division and so forth. These are not matters of policy or laws, but matters of human consciousness. The challenge is, very few in leadership and forms of power are viewing our challenges in this manner, leaving us approaching our issues with the same useless, strong word I know, attempts we make at trying to stop them. But this is the truth. We must begin to ask deeper questions about how we can shift our states of being and how we address our societal issues if we want to truly create change.
Note: due to how popular this article had gotten in just a few minutes I am editing in a note. In this article we are not saying what this event is in terms of a false flag or whether or not anyone died or didn’t or anything. It’s not about that at all. We’re covering a story of a woman who was there and heard very different things from what ended up becoming the official story after it changed many times in the media. That’s what we’re covering here.
Update: since writing this someone has informed us that there were a number of reports of multiple shooters at hotels. When we spoke to Rikki, she mentioned the Bellagio was one of the hotels where the first reports of shots and a death had occurred.

Before we get into this story. This is not made up, it’s not fake news, it’s not a conspiracy theory, it’s a story from someone who was there that night as she experienced it. This is important to note because her intentions in releasing this story are not anything other than wanting to explore the truth and how things could have changed so much based on the minute by minute play of what happened as she ran down the strip that night to safety.
We came across a post on Facebook from a girl named Rikki Raulerson who was in Las Vegas the night of the shooting. We got in contact with her via Facebook and spoke to her about the post she had made in order to find out more specific details.
Her story was quite intriguing to us as she is essentially saying that what she saw and heard happening on that night, including what local news was initially saying, completely changed as the night went on. Very key and important details dramatically shifted in the mainstream media that left her questioning what was really going on. She wanted to know the truth of what she experienced that night and began to explore.
Her full post is written below, but based on that post we asked Rikki some key questions to gain further clarity.
When we asked her about what exactly police officers told her when she had asked what was going on she told us: The security guard at the Cosmopolitan exact words were “I know about as much as you do. I have heard 7 confirmed shooters at multiple hotels including the Bellagio.” I do not have any idea how he knew this info, but this is the time they were locking down the hotel. There were a few metro police officers alongside security guards outside our hotel Vdara, and as they were checking our credentials we asked are there really multiple shooters, what’s going on? And the police officer confirmed yes multiple shooters at multiple hotels including Aria next door. He did not say 7 however he just said multiple. I assume he heard this over the radio, bc he was a metro officer.
The key take aways here was that multiple guards and police officers were told that multiple shooters, as many as 7, were shooting in the area that included multiple hotels. While it can be the case that facts become more clear as events unfold, this is a VERY different story than what we learned, and what’s odd is that all over social media, people have been talking about the fact that multiple shooters must have been present.
We then asked her about whether or not she could hear or sense that threats were coming from multiple areas. We asked this because there has been video footage from people recording the events as they unfolded (see below). In the videos you can very clearly hear gun fire coming from multiple locations near and far. Rikki’s response was this: We did not hear any shots from our hotel room. However while running from Cosmo we did hear shots, but they weren’t loud enough for me to think they were right next to us. The Bellagio is quite far from the Vdara on one side, and the Mandalay is about 1.7 miles on the other side. I don’t believe the shots we heard were coming from Mandalay however, because quickly after we got to the room they had released that he was dead. I could be wrong however. It was all happening so fast.

Finally we asked Rikki what her motivation was in sharing her story and ultimately why she feels it’s important for humanity to explore: I just feel like I was initially told one thing, and hearing the same thing from others, even hearing things over the local news at the very beginning of the event. However instead of showing proof that the other hotels in question weren’t affected, they just completely stopped mentioning it. And it all seemed to disappear at once, within 30 mins or so. That was very questionable to me, and after processing everything we had seen, and actually seeing others out there with similar stories to my own, I felt like I wanted to try and figure out the truth. I would be more inclined to believe the media if they were actually showing me proof.

“So here goes…. Especially to those of you saying to stop talking about this, stop making assumptions etc.
Call me crazy, call me dramatic, call me whatever you want. I’m posting this for those of us who were on the strip Sunday night, who know what we saw and what we were told by police officers, security guards, and even the local news when all of this madness started. And I am posting this in hopes of informing others who have believed everything they’ve seen on the news. If while leaving the Cosmopolitan, we had been told there was one shooting at the Mandalay Bay, Anthony and I would have not been worried for our lives and we would have continued to go out, knowing we weren’t headed to that particular area of the strip. But that’s not what we were told. We were told that there were 7 confirmed shooters, and confirmed deaths at multiple hotels. Including Bellagio, the Aria and New York New York. Being told this by a security guard, who then told us to go to the third floor for safety. However, Anthony says, “No Rikki. This is a very popular hotel, I don’t feel like the third floor of this popular hotel in public is the safest place. We’re going to try and get out of here right now.” Running back to our hotel next door, Vdara, we are told once again by police/security checking our id and room key, “yes multiple hotels effected. Go to your room and do not leave.” We then get to the room, immediately turn on the news and start watching out of our windows to figure out what is going on. The news also states, live, that the Bellagio had been effected and there was one confirmed death.
Now… skip ahead about an hour. The news is no longer stating anything about the other hotels effected. They say it is one person. Every bit of info that was being initially given to us was disappearing. We could physically see from our window view, fire alarms going off at the cosmopolitan, and multiple cop cars and ambulances pulling up there as well. We wanted more information about what was happening at these other hotels right next to us, and we weren’t getting it. And we still aren’t.
Monday morning I am of course telling my friends and family about our experience, and I was starting to really feel like I was crazy. Everyone was telling me there was only one shooter, and I just couldn’t understand what I had seen. Finally, other people like myself started speaking out. I was relieved to know that I wasn’t crazy, but now just as confused as to why the media is trying to hide this information. There are now videos and statements popping up all over the web, showing proof of other shooters and other effected hotels.
Why are they trying to hide this?! If for no other reason, think about being a family member of the others who died or were injured at these other hotels. They deserve the respect, and the truth as to what happened to their loved ones.
Now, can we please stop talking about Gun Control for just a few minutes, and figure out what is really going on here? Figure out the real motive of this incident, and inform people of the truth. Laws can be put in place for anything and everything. There will always be people who break them. And especially with all of the technology we have now days, it is not very hard to find anything you want. Whether it’s an illegal weapon, drugs, anything. Laws will always be broken. So let’s stop pretending this incident wouldn’t have happened if more laws were in place, but instead demand the truth about what really happened that night, and why? Don’t be so naive.”

What To Take From This

I have always said we can’t figure out how to change our world for the better if we do not take the time to understand how it works. Without this process, we end up trying to make sense of something we don’t have the full picture of.
Whether that be human consciousness and why we are the way we are, or whether that be understanding the deep state and how it truly functions, we must begin to look at all of this head on and stop simply making short term decisions in an attempt to make change that ultimately won’t last.
People are trying to tell people to stop asking questions because they are tired of it, but people are asking questions because things don’t make sense, and they want truth. At the same time, people are asking people to connect with others who experienced trauma from this event because people deep down know we must begin to connect with one another authentically and understand each other. The truth is, we don’t have to fight one another on these realities, all of this must happen together. The truth seeking, asking questions, connecting authentically with humans and understanding one another -it all must happen at one time in order for us to truly solve the challenges we face.
We’re going through a shift in consciousness, and part of what we are seeing play out is challenging us to truly shift deep down. This isn’t a matter of government and laws anymore.

16 Unanswered Questions About The Las Vegas Shooting That The Mainstream Media Doesn’t Want To Talk About

The public is not being told the truth about what really went down in Las Vegas.  As you will see below, the evidence is mounting that there were multiple shooters and that this was an operation that was planned well in advance.  But according to the mainstream media, a 64-year-old retired accountant with a flabby physique that had no military training whatsoever and that wasn’t very experienced with guns was able to pull the whole thing off all by himself.  We are being told that Paddock was a “lone wolf” that didn’t have any ties to terror groups, and since he is now dead nobody is ever going to be able to interrogate him.  But the American people definitely deserve some answers about what took place, and that means that all of us should keep digging.
The following are 16 unanswered questions about the Las Vegas shooting that the mainstream media does not want to talk about…
#1 Photos of Stephen Paddock’s hotel room have been leaked, and one of those photos appears to show a suicide note. Why hasn’t the public been told what is in that note?
#2 Were there additional shooters?  A taxi driver clearly captured video of an automatic weapon being fired out of a lower level window.  A video from another angle and brief footage captured by Dan Bilzerian also seem to confirm that automatic gunfire was coming from a floor much lower than the 32nd floor room that Stephen Paddock was located on.  And if you weren’t convinced by the first three videos, this fourth video should definitely do it.
#3 Why were law enforcement authorities discussing “another suspect on the fourth floor”, and why isn’t the mainstream media talking about this?
#4 As Jon Rappoport has pointed out, it would have been impossible for Stephen Paddock to kill and wound 573 people in less than five minutes of shooting with the kinds of weapons that he is alleged to have used.  So why won’t law enforcement authorities acknowledge this fact?
#5 How in the world did Paddock get 42 guns and “several thousand rounds of ammo” into his hotel room without anyone noticing?
#6 How did someone with “no military background” and that wasn’t a “gun guy at all” operate such advanced weapons?  Because what we are being told by the mainstream media just doesn’t make any sense whatsoever.  I really like how Natural News made this point…
Far from what the firearms-illiterate media claims, these are not systems that any Joe off the street can just pick up and use to effortlessly mow down 500 people. Running these systems requires extensive training, experience and stamina. It is physically impossible for a guy like Stephen Paddock to operate such a system in the sustained, effective manner that we witnessed, especially when shooting from an elevated position which throws off all the ranging of the weapon system.
Far from being a Navy Seal, Stephen Paddock is a retired accountant senior citizen with a gambling problem and a flabby physique. The only way he could have carried out this shooting is if he were transformed into a human superweapon through a magic wand. I’m calling this “Mission IMPOSSIBLE” because of the physical impossibility of a retired, untrained senior citizen pulling this off.
#7 Why was one woman telling people in the crowd that they were all going to die 45 minutes before the attack?
#8 Why did it take law enforcement authorities 72 minutes to get into Stephen Paddock’s hotel room?
#9 Why did Paddock wire $100,000 to the Philippines last week?
#10 Why was Paddock’s girlfriend, Marilou Danley, in the Philippines when the attack took place?  Did she know what was about to happen?
#11 Was Paddock on antidepressants like so many other mass killers in the past have been?
#12 Why was ISIS so eager to take responsibility for this attack, and why was the FBI so quick to dismiss that connection?
#13 Apparently Paddock had earned millions of dollars “through real estate deals”.  If he was so wealthy, why would he all of a sudden snap like that?
#14 Why did he move so frequently?  It is being reported that Paddock had 27 different residences during his adult life.
#15 Why were nearly all of the exits out of the concert venue completely blocked?…
In essence, the concert trapped the people, preventing them from escaping, and denying them the ability to seek cover. From there, sustained, full-auto gunfire is almost impossible to survive.
From Fox News, a caller named Russell Bleck, who survived the shooting, said live on air, “There were ten-foot walls blocking us in. We couldn’t escape. It was just a massacre. We had nowhere to go.”
#16 Why was a country music festival chosen as the target?  Was the goal to kill as many Trump supporters and other conservatives as possible?  And is there evidence that Stephen Paddock was connected to Antifa in any way?
At first I thought that this was a fairly straightforward story too, but the more I have dug into it the more complex things have become.
Personally, I have come to the conclusion that Stephen Paddock definitely did not act alone.  That means that the others involved in the shooting are still out there, and they must be brought to justice.  Let us never forget what these extremely wicked individuals did to innocent civilians such as 27-year-old Tina Frost…
A 27-year-old woman has lost her right eye after a bullet ripped through her face during the Las Vegas concert massacre.
Tina Frost remains in a coma in hospital after undergoing surgery to remove the bullet that became lodged in her eye when a gunman opened fire on the crowd of country music fans on Sunday night.
Frost, who is originally from Maryland but moved to California several years ago, is expected to remain in the coma for a week.
Whoever did this is going to pay greatly.  Yes, I do believe that Stephen Paddock was involved.  But he did not act alone, and the mainstream media is doing the public a great disservice by ignoring all of the evidence that this was not just a “lone wolf” operation.

An American Trauma Surgeon Responds

Dear Dr. Roberts:
This note is in response to your invitation for medical professionals to comment on the LV shootings with respect to the authenticity of the publicly available videos and whether they prove or disprove that actual victims were injured or killed. I am a retired surgeon with experience in managing patients with massive blood loss in an operating room setting and in other in-hospital cases of marked hemodynamic instability from hemorrhage.
The retired surgeon from Florida made many excellent points already and I will try not to repeat them. Here are some additional problems with the scene as presented in the publicly available videos:
1.) We do not see CPR being conducted on anyone that I am aware of. This would be extremely unusual for a massive shooting. Surely someone would have captured it on their cell phone. Even if it took a while for the EMT’s to arrive, it would be reasonable for non-medical personnel in the audience who have taken a basic CPR course to have started it.
2.) Given the alleged number of victims, we should have seen some evidence of arterial bleeding, no doubt at least several instances of massive hemorrhage (arterial bleeding is often associated with blood being ejected from the site of injury, a so-called arterial “pumper”). What is the probability that no one captured an example of it?
3.) If some of the rounds were from a fully automatic high caliber rifle or machine-gun like weapon(s), some of the victims should have had obvious massive and visible trauma to the head, neck and extremities. So far, I have seen no evidence of it.
4.) There is a complete absence of the kind of urgency one would expect from the professionals who allegedly responded on display in the videos available. Where are the EMT’s with their stretchers rushing to the victims? We see pictures of people in the audience crouching down, laying down, crawling, walking and running away but no evidence that any of them have sustained a gun shot wound(s).
5.) If hundreds of people were actually injured (not counting those who allegedly died at the scene) and taken to local emergency rooms, someone should have captured evidence on their cell phones of severely injured victims being wheeled into ER trauma rooms and being taken to surgery. I have not seen any videos from emergency rooms in which victims with actual wounds are displayed. Surely some of the local media would have arrived at the local hospital ER’s to take pictures and to interview the uninjured persons accompanying their friends/relatives. No interviews have appeared in which surgeons who attended the victims have been carefully questioned for the extent of injuries sustained. Similarly, no pathologists have been interviewed about their necropsy findings.
6.) Where are the death certificates of those who died at the scene? Where are the autopsy reports which would have been mandatory? I have seen pictures of alleged deceased persons but not actual proof of death(s). Moreover, why have there been no news conferences from the hospital(s) reporting on the progress or subsequent deaths of injured patients? Surely, someone with critical injuries must have died by now if the event was not staged. The only videos I have seen depict alleged shooting victims who do not appear to have sustained a GSW.
7.) If hundreds of injuries/deaths occurred, the video evidence should have been overwhelmingly in support of it given that almost everyone has a smart phone with camera capability. Yet, we have clearly been shown videos which do not support it. That is very strange and suggests that better video evidence is lacking, as would be expected if much or all of the scene was staged.
8.) It has been reported that a mass casualty drill was taking place in LV either at or prior to the alleged mass casualty event. Many false flag events have been preceded by a drill that “went live.” It has also been reported that citizen researchers who have called the closest local hospitals have been told that they had no record of gunshot victims. These claims need to be substantiated.
9.) The fact that advertisements/requests were placed asking for “Crisis Actors” in the LV area strongly suggests that the event was either partially or totally staged.
These represent only a few of the problems that come to mind at this point.

There was a FEMA “active shooter” drill going on that very same week in Vegas. Look into it more. It may have overlapped with the real situation to purposefully sow confusion and throw the scent.

The inclusion of “far-right propaganda” in her statement is ominous. It appears that the stage is being set for the thwarting of all independent investigation in the aftermath of a tragedy, with severe legal penalties for those who do not comply.

I’m going to take a wild guess. They are preparing us for war and so they don’t want the people to see blood and guts and just how horrendous the injuries are as it might cause people to think about the reality of war. The shocking images would make people fear what war will do to their friends and family and then they will object and oppose the war mongering of the politicians.
They used actors to make being shot seem not so bad – your clothes stay clean and you are soon up and about again – so “Let’s have a war, it’s nothing to worry about”.
Once again, the question that should be on our minds is why such a public event as the mass shooting of 573 people is not a completely clear transparent event?
Why the lack of hard evidence? Why instead do we have videos of non-medical personnel incorrectly carrying non-wounded people?
Some claim that the bullets were fired from too far a distance to do much serious damage. This is the answer to why none of the 500+ reported wounded have been reported to have died from complications from their wounds. So, why then did 58 or 59 people die on site from the bullets? Alternatively, how is it possible that automatic fire into a packed audience only hit 58 or 59 people and the 500+ only suffered minor injuries by wood splinters and pieces of concrete thrown up by the bullets, thus, no deaths from the injuries?
Why is it that with these terror events—Las Vegas, Boston Marathon Bombing, 9/11 itself—drills reflecting the alleged events were being conducted? Why has the media, not only the US media, but also the world media, never asked this question? How is it that almost every time that there is a terrorist event, a drill of that event is taking place?
After all this time, how can this question remain unasked and unanswered?
How is it possible that 573 people can be shot in a public place, and aware people can have no confidence in the official story?
We know we were lied to about the JFK and RFK assassinations, the Martin Luther King assassination, the Gulf of Tonkin, the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty, Saddam Hussein’s “weapons of mass destruction,” Assad’s use of chemical weapons, Russian invasion of Ukraine, Gaddafi, Yemen, Somalia, Obama’s overthrow of the Honduras government, and Maduro in Venezuela still targeted for overthrow along with the governments of Ecuador and Bolivia. The lies we know about are voluminous. There are 3,000 structural engineers and high rise architects, and also physicists, nano-chemists, first responders, high placed former government officials, and military and airline pilots who challenge the official 9/11 story. And all of these experts are dismissed by the presstitute media, which in total probably doesn’t have an IQ of 100, as “conspiracy theorists.” Can you imagine a dumbshit American media talking head calling an internationally known nano-chemist at the University of Copenhagen a “conspiracy theorist” for publishing a peer-reviewed scientific article that he and his team of scientists found reacted and unreacted nano-thermite in the dust residue of the World Trade Center?
This is the American media, a collection of dumbshit whores who sell their souls to official lies. America has no greater enemy than its own media.

Already there have been serious incriminations and recriminations reverberating throughout Tinseltown that are way beyond the multi-decade Weinstein affair.  Even George Clooney has gotten mixed up in it, which just goes to show you this is only the beginning of Hollywood’s comeuppance. George Clooney denies silencing actress’ harassment claims
Then there is up and comer Ben Affleck who has run afoul with the “sexually inappropriate” police.  The same people who are condemning Weinstein quickly find themselves in the very same stew pot. Weinstein Scandal: Ben Affleck is now on the firing line  This Hollywood BEAST not only has legs, it’s running so fast through the celebrity society that it will soon be difficult to find anyone who has not been thrown in the salacious stew pot (some would say “karmic soup”).
Of course, you could not cast a better production without the director, producer and star of the show—Harvey Weinstein.  The guy is a real sketch, and absolutely perfect for the main part.  We’re talking about the proverbial piece of work.  You just can’t make this stuff up… which is the best (really the worst) kind of acting there is.  Harvey didn’t even need to practice his lines he had used them so many times before IN REAL LIFE!
The bottom line here is this now self-evident prediction:

As Harvey Weinstein crashes and burns,
so, too, will Hollyweird

Hollywood & Pedogate, Washington, D.C. & Pizzagate

There’s a MUCH bigger story here than just Harvey and his sex crime spree.  There’s a much bigger story than Harv and his hardened network of Hollywood sexual abusers and deviants.  There’s even a much more serious saga than the notorious history of Hollywood’s patriarchal casting couch that demanded sexual favors and lustful indulgences in return for big parts and frequent access.
That story, of course, is Pedogate.  PEDOGATE is actually “A Global Crime Syndicate Much Bigger Than Pizzagate“.  Where the American origins of Pedogate are found in the Hollywood celebrity culture, the U.S. political franchise is located in Washington, D.C. and is recently known as Pizzagate.  This is where things are about to get very, VERY dicey.
That’s because whenever you have characters like Harvey Weinstein and Hillary Clinton, John Podesta and Bill Clinton in the very same room; there’s a play being made for you know what.  Which means that Pizzagate is about ready to go prime time—AGAIN!
Hillary and Harvey have always been joined at the hip.

Social Commentary

Truly, HARVEYGEDDON says much more about hellish Hollywood and the horrifying Motion Picture Industry than it does about sex monster Harvey Weinstein.  Harvey was just being Harvey, who appears to be a sex fiend with a lot of power and money working in an industry that has permitted rampant sexual exploitation for many decades.  Hence, it was the very nature of the real BEAST (aka known as Hollyweird) that provided the safe environment for such a sex monster to roam freely.  And for a very long time, mind you!
The real moral of the story of this Skakespearean tragedy is the system-wide moral bankruptcy that allowed it to occur.  You see, Hollywood is really just a little society not too unlike a small town.  You know the one where everyone knows everyone else’s business, especially their personal affairs.  In fact, the Hollywood rumor mill has been on steroids since the day one, so everyone really does know the scurrilous secrets that are almost never kept.
What’s the point?
Studio bosses, directors, producers, agents and actors have all been aware of Harvey Weinstein’s professional misconduct and sexual criminality for decades.  The Motion Picture Industry presidents and CEOs, chief counsels and COOs have likewise known.  Not only did they know about Harvey’s sexcapades, the closer they were to the scene of the crimes, the more that many of these folks either looked the other way or accommodated the perpetrator.  Some of them even abetted him, because it was practically their job to do so (e.g. phalanx of attorneys employed by MIRAMAX and then the Weinstein Company).
The upshot of this social commentary is even much greater than just a scathing indictment of the Hollywood celebrity culture.  It also represents a exceedingly grim reflection of American society as a whole.  That so many young and innocent girls are sent off to Hollywood by their mothers and fathers every year in the hopes of fame and fortune is quite tragic.  Everyone knows the real deal here, especially with the Internet operating at full tilt for over 20 years, so ignorance of this perennial and pervasive predicament is no excuse.  The Hollywood BEAST has been known to deflower both women and men, girls and boys since the very beginning.

Pedophilia

Which brings us to the most serious issue of all—the well-known and rampant Hollywood P E D O P H I L I A  problem. See: One man’s lifelong battle with Hollywood pedophilia
Now, here we have so many actors and actresses coming out of the woodwork today telling their own Harvey stories, as well as their stories of other sexual abusers, but the child sexual abuse going on right now – right there in Hollywood — is somehow forgotten about.
Again, this whole sordid saga serves as a very sad testimony about the overly permissive American culture.  For decades young boys are marched into the jaws of Hollywood elites without so much of a peep from the many who know their fate.  Why?  Because they do not want to jeopardize their paychecks nor lose their Hollywood careers.
Then there is the shocking complicity of law enforcement.  Police reports have been filed with the Los Angeles Police Department for decades regarding every type of sex crime under the sun.  How many of these cases are ever prosecuted?   How many of the reports are mysteriously erased from the police blotters and never make it to the tabloid press, much less the Los Angeles Times?
Do you see just how big the rape culture has become, and how the rapists are often enabled—24-7?!  If not, here’s another similar saga that breaks it all down in graphic detail.

Conclusion

It going to get a LOT uglier out there before this closet is swept clean, once and for all.  So get ready for the worst scandal ever blown wide open in U.S. history.  That Weinstein is only the “tip of the iceberg”, as a famous Hollywood actress was recently quoted, ought to send shivers up everyone’s spine.  Weinstein Is ‘The Tip of the Iceberg’

THE US MILITARY’S NEW “CONNECT EVERYTHING TO ...                  humm ???

One activity that is uniquely human is warfare. To be sure, the animal kingdom has its share of fights, but these lack what humanity brings to the table: organization, strategy and tactics, logistics, and always the search for the "technological edge".  But Mr. H.B. and Ms. K.M found this article, and its sheer audacity make me question whether the US military leadership has taken leave of its senses.  We'll get back to that in a moment in today's high octane speculation. First, the article:
The Future the US Military is Constructing: a Giant, Armed Nervous System
The essence of the military's plan is to "connect everything to everything":
Leaders of the Air Force, Navy, Army and Marines are converging on a vision of the future military: connecting every asset on the global battlefield.
That means everything from F-35 jets overhead to the destroyers on the sea to the armor of the tanks crawling over the land to the multiplying devices in every troops’ pockets. Every weapon, vehicle, and device connected, sharing data, constantly aware of the presence and state of every other node in a truly global network. The effect: an unimaginably large cephapoloidal nervous system armed with the world’s most sophisticated weaponry.
US Air Force Chief of staff General David Goldfein is referenced in the article, by a recent speech he gave in which he uses Elon Musk's Tesla cars as an example of such large scale interconnectivity. But this view is orders of magnitude beyond what has been seen thus far:
The idea borrows from the  “network centric warfare” concept that seized the military imagination more than a decade ago. But what leaders are today describing is larger by orders of magnitude. It’s less a strategy for integrating multiple networks into operations more efficiently than a plan to stitch everything, networks within networks, into a single web. The purpose: better coordinated, faster, and more lethal operations in air, land, sea, space, and cyberspace.
The Navy too is on board with this:
Navy leaders, too, are eager to connect every object on the sea, land, air, space and cyberspace. This is no exaggeration. As Adm. John Richardson, Chief of Naval Operations, put it during the Navy’s Future Force Expo in Washington, D.C., in July, “I want to network everything to everything.”
This is necessary to preserve the U.S. Navy’s advantage, even if Richardson gets the larger 355-ship fleet he seeks — hardly a given in today’s industrial and budgetary landscape. Adversaries are building more and better ships and weapons, and even the U.S. superiority in orbital and terrestrial sensing is diminishing. The cost of launching a constellation of spy sats is dropping as the satellites become smaller and launches become cheaper.
This is curious, since the Navy has recently re-emphasized the need for crews to be less reliant on GPD systems and able to navigate the "old fashioned way", by celestial navigation, compasses, charts, sextants, and so on. We'll get back to this point in a moment.
What is intriguing about all this is apparently someone else is doing a bit of high octane speculations about all these developments as well, posing a kind of "Terminator" scenario, where the military - and humanity as a whole - becomes the victim of its own technological fascination:
Certainly, “network everything to everything” sounds a bit like the setup for the Terminator franchise, wherein a fictional defense contractor, Cyberdyne Systems, convinces the Defense Department to link the U.S. arsenal to a single artificially intelligent entity. Skynet, of course, determines that humans are a threat to its existence and uses its ubiquitous command and control powers to launch a war on humankind.
Military leaders hate comparisons between their own tech projects and anything from the Terminator franchise. The reference usually comes up in discussions about individual drones with missiles or “killer robots.” Defense Department watchers are always keen to remind people that official policy is to keep humans at the top of the command-and-control loop, overseeing —or at least retaining veto power — over the decision to take life.
But there's another danger here, and it's much more down-to-earth, and I suspect the reader has already seen it: cyber systems are not secure, only look at the history of recent hacking episodes. Everyone has been hacked in recent years it seems, from Sony to the Securities and Exchange Commission to Equifax and Social Security and on and on the list goes. Viruses and malware prowl the internet constantly. I would even go so far as to say that even quantum communications systems will eventually fall to  the human passion to find ways around or through invincible systems. And then there's the Fitzgerald and McCain incidents, and the two incidents with the USS Donald Cook: while the  high octane speculative consensus on these incidents appears to be that some kind of jamming occurred, hacking cannot be entirely ruled out.
So now imagine a military universe where everything is connected to everything else: it takes little imagination to see that this could serve to make everything vulnerable.
But the "Terminator" scenario cannot be ruled out either. Consider again the last statement in the above quotation: the military would ensure that humans remain in control "at the top." I cannot help but think of old field marshal Von Moltke at the very beginning of World War One: then, too, new technological wonders gave commanding generals unique access to the picture of the whole battlefield: the problem was, the reports coming in by telephone, telegraph, and radio were too slow: events moved faster then the ability to report them and for Von Moltke to keep up with them. It might be argued that connecting everything to everything will allow commanders to see the "whole picture" in real time... maybe so, but will they be able to react "fast enough"? Probably not, for the ineluctable logic of reliance on this type of technologies ultimately means that humans are replaced by high frequency reacting algorithms. We've already seen it take place in the securities and commodities markets, with  the result that the markets look less and less reflective of real human realities. A similar logic might compel the good intentions of leaving humans in control to abandon those good intentions, in the name of military superiority and national security, of course.
And if the whole system is somehow "taken down" by hacking or other electronic warfare?
