COMING SOON: INSECT DRONES(COURTESY OF DARPA)

Mr. G.B. shared this one, and as you can see, it made the “final cut” in this two-weeks’ period of email-and-article vetting, and this one is both fun, and profoundly disturbing. Since the profoundly disturbing part concerns today’s “high octane speculation,” I’ll leave it to you to distill the fun part out of this article:
Rise Of The Insect Drones
Now, when one gets past the computer modeling of insect wing behavior and the resulting vortices and resonance effects, one comes to this intriguing paragraph:
“Dickinson and electrical engineer Ron Fearing won a $2.5-million DARPA grant in 1998 to apply these principles to a fly-size robot. They assigned a graduate student named Rob Wood, among others, to help develop techniques to fabricate the tiny parts and painstakingly assemble them with a pair of tweezers. Dickinson and Fearing also communicated which aerodynamics insights the students should try to reproduce. ‘Flies have really complex wing trajectories. There are a whole bunch of subtle things that happen,’ Wood says. ‘Michael told us the most important features to generate vortices and other aerodynamic effects.’”
In other words, enter DARPA, the Defense Advance Research Projects Agency, or, as we lovingly refer to it here, the Diabolically Apocalyptic Research Projects Agency. One wonders just exactly what interest DARPA would have in the ability to create insect drones. Hang on, we’re getting there…
…before we do, however, consider these paragraphs, and I think the answer becomes self-evident:
“…other researchers have used flapping-wing dynamics to reduce the size of aerial vehicles capable of carrying payloads. In 2011, California-based AeroVironment demoed its Nano Hummingbird. The aircraft has a 16.5-centimeter wingspan; it can fly vertically and horizontally and hover in place against gusting wind. It weighs 19 grams—lighter than some AA batteries—but it carries a camera, communications systems, and an energy source.
“TechJect, a company that spun off from work done at the Georgia Institute of Technology, recently unveiled a robotic dragonfly with a six-inch wingspan. It weighs in at 5.5 grams (lighter than a quarter) and can be outfitted with modular electronics packages enabling high-definition video and wireless communication. The TechJect Dragonfly takes advantage of an aerodynamics principle called resonance. When wings flap at their most efficient frequency—which happens when air density, wing speed, and an organism’s weight are perfectly balanced-—they create waves of vortices that merge and build. The audible result is the hum of a hummingbird or buzz of a bee, says Jayant Ratti, TechJect’s president. A flapping-wing drone utilizing resonance generates significant improvements in energy efficiency, creating optimal lift with minimal effort.”(Emphasis added)
In other words, these tiny insect-like drones carry publicly available camera and communications technologies.
Now imagine taking these engineering techniques, and replacing them with small, more-life-life sized and miniaturized technologies available to the military and intelligence , communities, and with the requisite enigeering, one would have a platform for surveillance, or for the delivery of small surveillance packages (is it a real fly speck, or a microphone?) or even if one were particularly diabolical – and remember, we’re dealing with DARPA here – a means of delivery of some nasty toxins via the mosquito-bite of an insect drone.
Thus, one can envision the impact on security as well: room sweeps will now have to include making sure all “insects” have vacated the room…

More companies voluntarily phasing out GMOs in response to growing consumer demand

by Jonathan Benson, staff writer

(NaturalNews) Demand for genetically modified organisms (GMOs), or synthetically derived "food" owned by multinational corporations, is on the decline, suggests a new report by NPR. And many U.S. farmers are now voluntarily switching to non-GMO and organic crops to meet this growing demand for clean food, despite the fact that mandatory GMO labeling has yet to become a reality anywhere in North America.

Much of this demand comes from Asian countries like Japan, admits Illinois-based grain processor Lynn Clarkson, where GMOs are much more scrutinized at the regulatory levels, and the public is generally more wary about the long-term safety of GMOs. But demand is shifting here in the U.S. as well, where an increasing number of food processors and manufacturers are responding to growing public demand for more unmodified, chemical-free food options.

For Clarkson, this meant transforming his Clarkson Grain processing plant, which sits amidst thousands of acres of transgenic corn and soybeans in the central Illinois town of Cerro Gordo, to only GMO-free grains. But this was not exactly a difficult feat, as Clarkson's innovations with regard to supplying American food companies with consistent product naturally paved the way for a longstanding non-GMO-grain-trading relationship with Asia.

"We don't tell people what their values should be," explained Clarkson to NPR, noting that it was food companies themselves, and ultimately their customers, that inspired what would later become a non-GMO tradition. "We inquire, and then we do our best to support those values."

Foreign food companies don't want GMOs, and neither do conscious consumers

Having worked in the grain business for 40 years, Clarkson witnessed the emergence of GMOs during the peak of his career some 20 years ago. Many farmers switched to the technology, which some say was more the result of coercion, but Clarkson's customers were simply not buying it.

According to NPR, Clarkson had already successfully built a strong rapport with his Asian clients around the time that GMOs emerged. Since none of them wanted these transgenic fabrications, he in turn was able to establish one of the first non-GMO supply chains right in the midst of America's agricultural heartland.

"U.S. buyers often think that we're starting from scratch," he contends, referring to his plant's loyal dedication to processing only non-GMO grains. "Well, we're not. We're starting from millions of bushels of demand that are in place and being satisfied on a regular basis for Asian clients."

Farmers do not even want to grow GMOs

Having all the pieces already in place, though, has made the transition to non-GMO a lot simpler for Americans, as the logistics behind the growing and shipping of non-GMO grains to Asia -- many non-GMO farms in the Midwest are located along river routes that easily connect shipping vessels to the ocean -- have already been previously established.

Adding to the conversation are some previous and even current GMO farmers, who are more than happy to escape the clutches of the biotechnology industry by meeting new demand for non-GMO crops. In many cases, farmers were unduly pressured by the likes of Monsanto to switch to GMO crops, a decades-long campaign that has resulted in some 90 percent of the corn, soy and cotton grown in the U.S. being converted to GMO.

"[N]one of us want the crops," explains one NPR commenter and farmer, noting that Monsanto and others in the industry successfully introduced GMOs by initially intimidating farmers alongside its legal team. "Monsanto wants the crops and the herbicide sales, and that's the only reason it's there."

Obamacare's 30-hour employment rule will lead to more layoffs

by S. D. Wells

(NaturalNews) I thought reform was a good word, but the National Retail Federation says the current 30-hour employment rule is causing businesses to "cut employee hours to avoid offering them health insurance." The new definition, or delineation so to speak, for working full time (or not) depends on the government's interpretation of "reform" and affordable (highly profitable) healthcare. Retail and restaurant businesses are blasting the new mandated "definition" of full-time. Reform by mandate, folks, it's what's good for you, right? You voted for it 55%. America - home of the free, land of the brave - is trying to stand up for itself too little, too late. The Supreme Court decision is in. The IRS already hired 16,000 "collectors" to make sure that anyone who is young and healthy is paying costly insurance in order to "fund" the new CARE ACT, the established tyrannical labor policy. So, what ARE the unintended consequences of the 30-hour rule? (http://thehill.com)

Common sense is leading employers to switch full-timers to part-time schedules so they don't have to provide them with insurance or "match" skyrocketing premiums. This is the cost (the end result) of a government that feeds the masses toxic food and then gives them symptom-cover-up medication for years. The young, the health, and the MIDDLE CLASS must pay for all of this haphazardness. They get their hours cut or they get fired due to downsizing of small- and medium-sized businesses. Then they go apply for the entry-level jobs for which they are overqualified. This takes away jobs from the "lower" class and college students (including graduate school) who work part-time, and the kids straight out of high school looking for technical and trade work; they all lose out. I guess the groovy Democrats and their great "orator" might not have the "younger" vote next election, much less the middle class. This could get ugly.

That's forced sick care for ya! They tell you what you get, how much you're going to pay for it and that, if you don't pay for it, you get a tax lien on your record, collectible by the IRS. If you're a banker, a lawyer, a doctor, a dentist, an orthodontist, a surgeon or an oncologist, you're not too worried about it. You may take a hit but not like single mothers working restaurant jobs and construction workers who have to hop from contract to contract instead of having steady work with a company and decent insurance. This was a strategy from the Obama Administration that was sewn into the fabric long ago. You think that they didn't know all this? The GOP knew. This subject will be one of their weapons of conversation over the months to come in Congress.

Big Pharma wants payback

Look, Big Pharma is heavily invested in this affordable care "act," and they want their investment and their dividends, and they want them starting now. Obama won his second term, and that meant paying back Big Pharma and Wall Street. Those guys know exactly which stocks to buy or dump, which companies to buy, which companies to run or run from and who to suppress in the process if they don't get paid. The game is on. Big Pharma wants everyone on drugs, on chronic care at doctor's offices and hospitals, and they want everyone getting vaccines and flu shots, taking aspirin daily and not being able to figure out WHY their hours got cut from full-time with benefits to seven hours a day, four days a week, with no insurance.

Put it this way, if you think Obamacare and Healthcare.broken.gov is fixed like Vegas, you're right. Las Vegas doesn't have those tall shiny buildings made of glass because everyone wins on roulette and blackjack. The U.S. financial system as a whole has been transformed into the "largest casino on the entire planet."

Big Banks are behaving like the "Wolf of Wall Street." The central bank has us fighting in unnecessary wars, and the military-industrial complex is funding the medical-industrial complex. Thousands of businesses and jobs are being "exported" overseas for cheap labor and contaminated products. Is this what YOU voted for? Is this what you cheered for or vehemently opposed last year or even five years ago? It's an Obama-nation. How's that blind faith workin' out?

• 100 million working-age Americans do not have a job right now, up 25 million just since 9/11/2001.

• Poverty is spreading. You see more and more able bodies in cities at busy intersections with words written on a piece of cardboard begging for food and work.

• Nearly every other American receives some kind of monthly benefit from the U.S. government (nanny state) right now.

• The NSA is recording 2 billion emails and phone calls every day, so the government can know if you are going crazy or planning/doing something that they don't like.

• Public and private debt levels around the globe are much higher than they were during the financial "tsunami" of 2008. Don't let the mainstream media lie to you and tell you that we've recovered from it or are even close.

• World Bank Report says U.S. debt to China has grown almost three-fold since 2008.

• JP Morgan Chase, Bank of America, Citigroup, Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley are growing fast.

• "Too big to fail" means government bailouts, huge CEO bonuses, triple salaries and planned bankruptcies so "players" can switch companies and do it again.

• Last November, 2013, about 365,000 Americans had signed up (but probably not actually secured) Obamacare insurance, while 4 million had lost their current plan BECAUSE of Obamacare. How's that for the big launch of a new product that's mandatory? Guess who starts incurring IRS fines this April? How big will they be next year? Will that go up without regulation?

• Mandatory war bonds could be a reality in the near future.

• Projections are that 100 MILLION MORE Americans could get their health insurance policies canceled when Obamacare is fully applicable to the masses, that is, if the website ever works. (http://www.thefallingdarkness.com)

Genetically modified food, MSG, aspartame, fluoridated tap water and pesticide-laden gluten are all part of the healthcare scheme. It's a huge Ponzi scheme to get young, healthy people to invest in a multilevel marketing hoax. There is no real healthcare here, just chemicals that add to the chaos of bad health that stems from eating food that grows from seeds which contain pesticide, insecticide and herbicide. A lot of people need to wake up and smell the coffee.

The "falling darkness" comes this way

Do you have a black cloud hanging over your head? Is there a dark storm on the radar? What is all this fuss about mandatory healthcare? Does it mean an outrageous premium for chronic SICK care? You bet it does. It's all about control. It's all about eliminating the middle class of America and making things so hard on everyone that we all rely on government handouts to keep us alive and safe from "evil doers." Yes, Obama pushes the "evil doers" campaign of fear and big business better than George W. Bush did. The Patriot Act was just the beginning of the tsunami of personal privacy invasion, NON-TRANSPARENCY of Government in the U.S. and a tyrannical regime that enforces useless chemical-driven massive healthcare expenses on those who can least afford it, seniors and college graduates.

Meanwhile, GMO food is pushed as a staple diet in the cafeterias of every school in the nation, while Obama and his family eat 100% organic. Pay attention to the layoffs and the company downsizings over the next year or two. Pay attention to the people who used to be full time and now work less than 30 hours a week. This is the earthquake out at sea that causes the tidal wave. Don't venture out at low tide, folks! For every person who signs up for Obamacare, ten lose their current policy. Great 30-hour rule, Barrack! Thanks a lot for all that "healthcare" reform. I'd hate to see what "forced" food reform and war reform look like.

Grand Theft Healthcare

February 13th, 2014
by Stephen Lendman
Healthcare is about prioritizing health. Medical professionals say it's about maintaining, restoring and preserving it.
It's doing it through illness and disease prevention. It's obeying Hippocratic Oath principles. It's a sworn duty to heal.
It's about rendering treatments effectively. It's doing it responsibly. It's doing no harm.
Obamacare is polar opposite. Numerous previous articles explained. Marketplace medicine doesn't work.
Obamacare is a healthcare rationing scheme. It's a boon to predatory providers. It enriches insurers, drug companies and large hospital chains. It does so at the expense of proper care.
Bottom line priorities matter most. Healthcare industry crooks designed things this way. Obamacare is rife with disturbing inequities.
It's one of the greatest ever corporate scams. It's second only to Wall Street grand theft. It's a wealth transference scheme. More on this below.
Obamacare doesn't protect. It leaves millions uninsured. It leaves most others way underinsured.
It's unaffordable coverage. Millions of households have to pay 40% or more out-of-pocket. It's for co-pays and deductibles. It's on top of costly premiums.
US healthcare is by far the world's most expensive. It's double the cost in other developed countries. Virtually nothing is done to constrain annual price hikes.
Obamacare makes America's poor pay most, says Paul Craig Roberts. It makes them "reimburse Obamacare for the cost of their medical expenses."
Their home and other assets can be confiscated. Doing so is called estate recovery. It's not in Affordable Care Act (ACA) provisions. It's part of the 1993 Omnibus Reconciliation Act (OBRA).
It applies to Medicaid recipients. OBRA requires all states getting Medicare funding seek recovery from deceased Medicaid patients.
As Roberts explains, it's for "medical services received in a nursing home or other long-term care institution, home-and community-based services, and related hospital and prescription drug services regardless of age."
It lets states recover Medicaid costs "at age 55 or older." They can do so through probate from bank accounts, other funds, and property.
As Roberts states, "even if you have a will, your heirs are chopped liver." Exceptions are too few to matter.
Obamacare determines who's "tossed" into Medicaid and who's not. It's no free lunch. It's a potential delayed ripoff.
It's a posthumous one. It affects deceased Medicaid recipients with assets. It's a "pernicious death tax," says Roberts. It affects America's most vulnerable.
Imagine harming them during struggling years. Imagine turning rest in peace into a convenient illusion.
Imagine a wealth transference scheme masquerading as healthcare. Imagine using it commit grand theft. Imagine denying proper treatment at the same time.
Imagine deception writ large. Estate recovery isn't an unintended Obamacare consequence, explains Roberts.
Congressional committees designed things this way. They did so in league with Obama. Millions of Americans are impoverished. Millions more border on destitution. They don't know what's potentially coming.
Obamacare mocks a fundamental human right. It does so to benefit bottom line priorities. It does it in more ways than people imagine.
It's a mandatory shakedown. Special interests alone benefit. It's corporate welfare writ large.
It mandates everyone buy coverage even if they can't afford it. Doing so makes neighborhood loan sharks look respectable by comparison.
ACA is whatever Obama says from day to day. Last year, he delayed a significant consumer protection. It limits out-of-pocket costs. They include co-pays and deductibles.
He delayed limitations until 2015. It lets insurers set higher limits. Some costs have none. It's a boon for higher profits. It's a consumer ripoff.
Obama acted secretly. He did so in a maze of legal/bureaucratic/mumbo jumbo language. It went largely unnoticed for months.
His latest diktat affects businesses with from 50 - 99 employees.
They have until 2016 to provide coverage for full-time workers before federal penalties for failure to comply kick in.
It's two years longer than originally touted. Perhaps he'll offer more grace time ahead. Maybe he'll give them as much time as they want.
Companies with 100 or more employees have a different type one-year grace period. Instead of requiring they provide 95% of coverage for full-time workers by 2015, it's now 70% to avoid being fined.
Manipulating Obamacare advantageously for business is one of its most outrageous practices.
Consumer ripoffs were written into the law. Diktat revisions add new ones. Maybe more secret ones exist yet to be revealed.
Consumers are denied concessions. Coverage is mandatory. Household without it face penalties. In 2014, it's $95 per person up to 1% of family income, whichever is greater.
Fines increase sevenfold over the next two years. In 2016, it's $695 per person up to 2.5% of income, whichever is greater.
Exemptions apply for individuals and families without coverage less than three months a year.
Undocumented aliens are excluded. So are prisoners, members of recognized Native American tribes, and people with income deemed too low.
If lowest-cost coverage exceeds 8% of household income, obtaining it isn't required. Certain religious sects are exempt. So is belonging to a recognized health-sharing ministry.
Obama granted hundreds of companies, organizations and Congress exemptions. One-year time frames may become two, three or longer.
Perhaps exemptions will be permanent. Privileged favorites get what ordinary Americans are denied.
Congressional members and staffs get healthcare through Federal Employees Health Benefits Plan (FEHBP) coverage. It affords dozens of options. It lets them choose what's best for them.
It subsidizes 70% of premiums. It does so tax free. For an additional fee, congressional members (excluding family members) can get special on-site Washington area military hospital Attending Physician treatment.
Obamacare's Section 1312 says the following:
"(T)he only health plans that the Federal Government may make available to Members of Congress and congressional staff with respect to their service as a Member of Congress or congressional staff shall be health plans that are, (1) created under (ACA); or (2) offered through an exchange established under this act."
At the same time, congressional members, their families and staffs qualify for tax-exempt subsidies. They're afforded special benefits denied ordinary Americans.
Inequities define Obamacare. What better argument for single-payer fairness. Universal coverage alone works.
Healthcare is a human right. Everyone needing care should get it. Affordability shouldn't be an issue. Obamacare sacrifices health on the alter of corporate profits.
The latest employer mandate delay suggests more special benefits for business ahead. Tens of millions of ordinary Americans are adversely affected.
Obamacare calls anyone working 30 hours or more full-time. Businesses failing to provide coverage face fines up to $2,000 per employee.
They game the system to avoid it. They prioritize hiring temporary or part-time workers. They avoid full-time ones as much as possible.
They cut benefits to the bone. Employees are increasingly on their to pay for what used to be company-provided.
Obamacare sticker shock awaits them. Millions can't afford what they have to buy. Employers get one waiver after another.
Republicans seized on the latest announcement. It's unfair to have two-track policies. What business gets adversely affects most people.
House Energy and Commerce Committee chairman Fred Upton (R. MI) said:
"If unilateral delays were an Olympic sport, the White House would sweep the gold, silver and bronze."
"The White House is in full panic mode, and rather than putting politics ahead of the public, it is time for fairness for all."
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R. KY) said:
"The White House seems to have a new exemption from its failed law for different groups each month."
"It's time to extend that exemption to families and individuals - not just businesses."
House Speaker John Boehner (R. OH) accused Obama of "rewriting (ACA) on a whim."
"If (he) doesn't believe employers can manage the burden of the law, how can struggling families be expected to?"
ACA originally made employer mandate provisions effective January 1. It's when most Americans must have coverage.
Companies with more than 50 employees must provide coverage for individuals working 30 or more hours a week.
Insurance must cover core benefits. It must be affordable. It's defined as premiums costing no more than 9.5% of employees' income.
Companies can't force workers to obtain coverage. They're not fined for those refusing to do so.
Many details remain unclear. Exactly what benefits companies have to provide needs explaining.
Obama complicates things by shifting the goal posts. What else does he have in mind? What other surprises await consumers?
Administration officials said they'll issue separate rules in coming weeks. They'll cover how employers must report their workers' coverage status.
Obama's new postponement says more about a giant corporate scam. Workers without coverage are adversely affected.
Delaying what companies are supposed to provide denies what employees deserve to have.
It bears repeating. Single-payer universal coverage alone works. Medicare without strings for all. Everyone in. No one left out.
Healthcare is a fundamental human right. It's high time Washington treated it that way. All Americans deserve no less.

The Sandy Hook Hoax: Did it Really Go As Planned?

Robert Singer
21st Century Wire[Excerpt from R U Sandy or R U Hooked]

Sandy Hook: Something doesn’t make sense…
And I am not talking about a Hurricane named Sandy, an Island named Sandy that went missing in the South Pacific, a Connecticut elementary school named Sandy [Hook] or the YouTube, Sandy Hook Shooting HOAX and LIES exposing Robbie Parker smiling before going on camera named playing the part of a grieving parent.

Do you really believe all that free bandwidth exists in the world so that you can watch Robbie get into his acting mode before he gives his “B” performance as a grieving parent? Click here to watch the video. Do you hear him saying [around the sixth second] “… do you want me to read the cards?”
Or what about the Associated Press/Newsday and the New York Daily News articles with conflicting accounts on what really happened at Sandy Hook?

December 15 AP reports: “Only the rifle was used on the victims,” a statement supported by Dr. H. Wayne Carver II, Connecticut State’s chief medical examiner. Carver’s examination found that of the “seven autopsies he personally performed on Sandy Hook victims,” all of them had “three to 11 wounds apiece.” Carver says that the gunman was able to reload so quickly because he used a “military-style rifle rigged with two taped magazines.”
However, later the New York Daily News reports that of the three guns Adam Lanza is supposed to have brought to the school, “the rifle was left in the trunk.”
I am not interested in whether the deaths resulted from hundreds of rounds of .233 caliber bullets which were fired with deadly accuracy, in minutes by a “scrawny” 20-year-old with “a rifle” … that was still in the trunk of his car in the parking lot.
Look, if the plan were to disarm American citizens by carrying out massacres like Sandy Hook, then why do they need so many of these Jokers?
I want to know why the Wayne Carver and Robbie Parker videos haven’t been removed for “National Security or Privacy Reasons?” Leaving them on the Web serves only one purpose: to convince the conspiracy theorists that this was some sort of black ops type false flag initiated and carried out with the long-term goal of disarming the American people. Put another way, I am suggesting that the public reaction/controversy/negative energy over the 2nd Amendment was not only anticipated but was the cornerstone and goal of the plan from the beginning.

[End of excerpt from R U Sandy or R U Hooked]

1-Sandy-Hook-Hoax
The Sandy Hook massacre, the worst school shooting in U.S. history, could never have been a false-flag Hoax with crisis actors so Obama could get political support for a ban on assault weapons and water down the 2nd amendment.
Here’s why. If the plan were to disarm American citizens by carrying out massacres like Sandy Hook, then you have to ask yourself, what is the point? What are Americans doing during Obama’s full-scale attack on the 2nd amendment?
Answer: They are arming themselves to the teeth. [1]
Note that Sandy Hook, like Aurora, Columbine and Tucson, were never a conspiracy about gun control or mental health; they were however, a conspiracy to instill fear, anxiety, apprehension and foster feelings of fear, resentment and rage in order to create negative energy. The National debate over the right to own an Ak-47 hunting rifle was the goal and planned from the beginning because the controversy was guaranteed to generate mass amounts of negative energy.
Sandy Hook Hoax: This Didn’t Go as Planned
Below is the transcript of a YouTube video, Sandy Hook Hoax: This Didn’t Go as Planned ByTheRicoman1973 published on Aug 18, 2013.
TheRicoman’s summary:
“It brings me great joy to think how bad this hoax has backfired on these con-artists ALREADY. It’s only going to get worse…..I love it!”
The video, as of today, had 79,110 views and 296 comments. The video has background music and displays the image below for 13 seconds before TheRicoman begins his narration…

TheRicoman (in a raspy voice): It was the great hoax of 2012.

[YouTube image of the 'Robbie Parker' smiling video (Sandy Hook Shooting HOAX and LIES) below displays for 5 seconds]

[My commentary about the Robbie Parker YouTube above from Negative Energy for Dummies]
My all time favorite is video, Sandy Hook Shooting HOAX and LIES is of the father of one of the children who was killed at the school. Robbie Parker is allegedly “caught off camera” laughing and smiling before he gives a “B” performance playing the part of a grieving parent. The Robbie Parker video isn’t proof that Sandy Hook was a hoax; it’s proof that the Sandy Hook false-flag conspiracy is a conspiracy to make you believe in a conspiracy.
Robbie Parker wasn’t caught laughing off camera and asking if he should read from the cue cards; Parker’s performance started when he was allegedly, laughing “off” camera and asking if he should read from the cue cards.
Robbie Parker isn’t giving a B performance of a grieving parent; he is giving an A performance of a grieving parent giving a B performance of a grieving parent. [End of commentary]
TheRicoman (in a semi-raspy voice): On Dec 14 a bunch of knuckleheads got together and performed a skit or a play with the intentions of deceiving the masses, ahahahah.
Well things didn’t quite go as planned now did it. [TheRicoman continues without the raspy voice]
I love it. Oh, I absolutely love it because I see it unfolding before me. You know if you are going to tell a lie, especially a big lie where you say that you are a grieving parent and your child died ohhh … then you better pull it off. OK, you better pull it off so nobody suspects you are lying. OK, but your execution, your acting was so piss poor, that people are waking up daily to this. OK, we are only like 9 months out and this is huge, people hear about this left and right. And listen things progress and that, and that way.

First you hear, you hear that there is a conspiracy theory about Sandy Hook and at first you just discount it. Oh that’s just, that’s just Fred talking, but then Jimmy starts talking, and Emily starts talking the same thing, and Tyronne starts talking and then your boss starts talking, and then your Facebook friends start posting … and then you know what, you finally click on to that video, or you finally get online and you look it up yourself and I can tell you…

I can tell you first hand, anybody that I have told and they have gone home and actually done the research, they have come back and told me, you are right, this was a hoax. They are liars, they are actors. OK, so I have the utmost confidence, and if people, if people actually look it up and do the research they will see for themselves. This isn’t slick editing or great commentary by Truthers. I mean that helps a little bit. This is just, hey, here is a compilation of interviews done by the supposed grieving family members. Check it out yourself. You tell me, is this genuine emotion? OK, so they are condemned by their own … abilities, their own acting their own lie … but just think it’s going to get worse, it’s going to get worse and worse for them. I mean they are kind of uhh, kind of in a tight spot, they thought it’s was going to go down like this.

Yes, I’ll lie and I’ll continue to live a lie. When’s that money coming. hahaha I’ve got big plans for that money, hoho so you know money helps, but you know what they also anticipated respect from people, compassion from people, sympathy from people, donations from people uhhahha.

But here’s the deal, assume that it was a real event, all that stuff I just mentioned happens in large numbers, right away, but then it dwindles because people forget or get onto other things. You know what I mean. Umm it’s not going to continue at a high rate and they try, they try to stoke the fire, keep it going. You know you still have these knuckleheads doing public appearances, uhh trying to get more money, trying to get more money, keep the lie going but by doing that they haven’t gotten any better at acting.

Gosh my advice is just, just to stop, you’ve got enough money but quit putting yourself out there because… like I said, here is what I’m getting at. These things naturally decline, OK. So you are already going to lose out on the donations and what have you… it’s going to go down and down and you are going to lose out on people being sympathetic towards you. Or at least they are not going to come in droves.
But now when you couple that with people around you waking up, or at least hearing that this is being called a hoax… things aren’t looking so bright for the hoaxsters, it really isn’t. OK, cause they were thinking short term, they were seriously thinking short term, but they have to continue to live, the rest of their lives and I don’t want them to go to prison. I don’t. I want them to live amongst us, the same people that they tried to deceive, I want them to live amongst as we wake up all around them. Ok, that’s what I want, that’s what I want. And don’t you dare come to my town, don’t you dare come to my town with your no more names bus tour,

Carly Soto, cause you will get heckled. I don’t want any physical harm, OK, I don’t want anybody to hurt anybody in this but I will use my 1st amendment right. OK, you will get heckled if you come to my town… you will, so I suggest that you just stay in your little town, Newtown or go back to Britain, half of you, or go back to Canada…

OK, but if you are going to continue to live this lie, then realize people all around you people are going to wake up because it’s already happening, it’s already happening and things happen in progression, and right now we are at the stage that a lot of people are hearing or seeing on Facebook that this is being called a Hoax but they haven’t quite clicked on to that button yet. OK, now… think about this when they finally click on to it, they’ll be convinced, I know it, they’ll be convinced and guess what and they are going to become a Truther, or at least they’re going to tell their little network of people.

See our numbers are going to grow and the hoaxsters numbers are going to stay the same and they are going to have keep trying to tell that lie or live that lie.
Oh I love it, it’s like poetic justice. The future for the hoaxsters is not looking good whatsoever. I don’t care how much money you get, I don’t care… you know that’s not, you know money helps don’t get me wrong but you don’t want to be publicly ridiculed…

Or if… most people don’t want to be in the public eye but if they’re in the public eye they want to be either the hero or they want to be a sports star or whatever, they want it to be for good or because of their own talents, or what have you.
Now you started out being in the public eye, what, for what seems to be … a not necessarily a good reason but people respected you and had compassion and stuff, but you are not going to take yourself out of the public eye, but the way the people are going to view you … is definitely changing.

So you can’t just disappear, can you? So now people are going to think of Robbie Parker and think, scum bag liar. Carley Soto, scum bag liar. Gene Rosen, scum bag liar, and on and on and on. You didn’t really think this out did you hahaha,
I love it
I love it
I love it

Oh ho ho ho, oo all right everybody, peace out.

Kerry: OK, I want I want to say something here, what we are talking about is awareness OK, being awake and being aware knowing OK, becoming aware just the act of learning and becoming aware just what we are doing right here, this creates the power OK, its not enough to just send blind light blind love, OK, it must be intelligent it must have perception attached you must do more than just give the heart OK, you must understand what you are seeing and why you are doing what you are doing that’s so knowing, and putting that piece together that that’s the missing piece OK, and then, it’s awareness OK, what you want to convey is the awareness of all the aspects of what’s going on there OK, so if you are loving, you are loving consciously knowing all the parameters of what that means, not blindly OK, so don’t give your energy blindly. If you know if you want to give your energy… and power and light and love to the Illuminati, know what you are doing, be conscious while you are doing it.
Kerry: “So awareness is it’s best defense, that’s your defense OK, total awareness that means when the earth and all of humanity is an awake being one awake being – then nothing can stop you …ok

R U Sandy or R U Hooked

By Melanie Lamport
Gun Control takes center stage following another in a series of horrific mass shooting. The latest one at the Sandy Hook Elementary School left 20 children dead in Newtown Connecticut.
The corporate controlled media and President Barack Obama have launched a full-scale attack on the 2nd amendment in response to the latest episode of a lone-nut gunman going on a rampage-killing spree. [1]
Obama breaks downObama breaks down while thanking supporters
Obama is emotional at his final campaign event in IowaObama is emotional at his final campaign event in Iowa
Look Ma, no tears..."Beautiful little kids" (wipes tear and pauses)
President Obama, wiping a non-existent tear, wants an administration wide task force to help him curb gun violence, BUT only in America. Obama continues to order the child-killing drone massacres overseas. And in one of those coincidences that don’t happen very often, yesterday (January 13, 2013), a prominent American blogger and computer prodigy Aaron Swartz, who spoke against the targeted killing operations carried out by US assassination drones, was found dead in New York City.
The mass shootings in Tucson, Virginia Tech, Columbine, Sandy Hook, Sikh Temple, and the Aurora Theater, are so full of anomalies, inconsistencies and unanswered questions that you have to wonder if it was an Alien Entertainment production about the most unrealistic assassination that humans on Earth would believe. Operation Rampage Killing
Sandy Hooked
Where are the bodies or photos of bodies or crime scene photos? What about a surveillance video or still images from the scene or a timeline that makes some sense? [2]
Look at this screen-shot showing a blog post from the YouCaring.com charity website for Dec. 10 (now removed).
You can find more images with the Google time-stamp archived at Photos: Sandy Hook smoking guns emerge or click here if the article was “removed” to protect National Security.
The United Way victim’s fundraising website page was created and titled specifically for the Sandy Hook shootings. All the dates are either around a month or a couple days prior to the actual shooting in the once-tranquil suburban Newtown on December 14, 2012.
My question is why CNN (one of the six companies that control the media) would let Anderson Cooper or Ben Swann question whether “the Sandy Hook shooting ever took place -- at least in the way law enforcement authorities and the nation's news media have described."  Fox News broadcast journalist Ben Swann, is calling for the release of the outside video to the school where Lanza entered the building.
These rampage-killings are either full scale Department of Homeland Security planned drills with "crisis actors," staged MK-Ultra “false-flag” events, or the latest episode of Assassination TV for aliens living on the planet Mars. Operation Rampage Killing
James Tracy, a tenured professor from Florida Atlantic University, is suggesting the deaths at Sandy Hook may have resulted from a training exercise. Tracy says that "crisis actors" may have been employed in a conspiracy to shape public opinion in favor of gun control. [NO these mass shootings are not about taking away your AK-47 hunting rifle]
Tracy probably got the idea from the “leaked” Pottawattamie County, Iowa Emergency Management Agency document, Operation Closed Campus Exercise Plan (ExPlan).
Click here or here to download your own copy of the ExPlan before the Internet police remove it for security reasons.
And to make the story even more (un) believable, we have former U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, herself a victim of another lone assassin known by three names gunman, Jared Lee Loughner, leading the debate on who should be allowed to go hunting.
BTW, was Loughner insane when he went on a suicide mission, or was he sane when he told a judge he would rather spend 140 years in prison than take the chance a jury would find him not guilty, by reason of insanity?
Loughner allegedly killed a prominent federal judge and a 9-year old girl who just happened to be at Gabbys’ meet and greet that day. The Judge according to a report published in the non-conspiracy European Union Times just happened to make a critical ruling against the Obama administration’s plan to begin the confiscation of their citizen’s private retirement and banking accounts. The 9-year old girl, Christina-Taylor Green or Christine Taylor, take your pick, just happened to be the only person NOT pronounced dead at the scene. [3]
The Social Security Administration keeps track of deceased people by their birthday in a Social Security Death Master file (SSDMF). As of November 2011, the SSDMF does not have any record of a Christina-Taylor Green or a Christine Taylor listed in the September 11, 2001 death index. [3]
Why am I surprised that Gabby is leading the Americans for Responsible Solutions in this fight over the 2nd amendment?
People who are shot in the head (point-blank) with a 9mm bullet from a powerful, high velocity pistol don’t live long enough to lead anyone, anywhere. “Getting a bullet in your brain means that life for you will be over faster than a fatal wound anywhere else on your body. Your brain stops functioning almost immediately and in just a fraction of a second, you’re gone.” [4]
NPR initially reported that Gabrielle Giffords was shot dead, but miraculously, she lived. A highly experimental brain trauma procedure called “suspended animation” was performed on Giffords based on the research by Dr. Peter Rhee. Four days after the shooting, Salon released an article titled, Doctor: Giffords breathing on her own after attack, claiming, “Doctors now think that Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords may have been shot in the front of the head, not the back.”  A miraculous operation by two Doctors who aren't sure which way the bullet entered her skull, UNLIKELY.
[From What Happens When You Get Shot In The Head?]
A 9mm firearm sends a bullet through your brain faster than the speed at which your tissues tear before it smashes into one of eight cranial bones engineered to keep your brain safe. Bullets travelling at thousands of feet per second will exit your body before your tissues have a chance to rip. Forget about ever processing information, indexing information, solving problems [or leading anyone anywhere]; they are gone when the bullet shoves its way through your prefrontal cortex and takes out your hippocampus. [End from What Happens When You Get Shot In The Head?] [5]

Island and Hurricane Sandy
Something doesn’t make sense, and I am not talking about a Hurricane named Sandy, an Island named Sandy that went missing in the South Pacific, a Connecticut elementary school named Sandy [Hook] or a YouTube exposing Robbie Parker smiling before going on camera named Sandy Hook Shooting HOAX and LIES playing the part of a grieving parent.
Do you really believe all that free bandwidth [6] exists in the world so that you can watch Robbie get into his acting mode before he gives his “B” performance as a grieving parent? Click here to watch the video. Do you hear him saying [around the sixth second] “.... do you want me to read the cards?"
Or what about the Associated Press/Newsday and the New York Daily News articles with conflicting accounts on whatreallyhappend at Sandy Hook. [7]
December 15 AP reports: "Only the rifle was used on the victims." A statement supported by Dr. H. Wayne Carver II, Connecticut State’s chief medical examiner. Carver’s examination found that of the “seven autopsies he personally performed on Sandy Hook victims,” all of them had "three to 11 wounds apiece." Carver says that the gunman was able to reload so quickly because he used a “military-style rifle rigged with two "taped magazines."  [8]
However, later the New York Daily News reports that of the “three guns Adam Lanza is supposed to have brought to the school, “the rifle was left in the trunk.”
I am not interested in whether the deaths resulted from hundreds of rounds of .233 caliber bullets which were fired with deadly accuracy, in minutes by a "scrawny" 20-year-old with "a rifle” … that was still in the trunk of his car in the parking lot.
I want to know why the Wayne Carver and Robbie Parker videos haven’t been removed for “National Security or Privacy Reasons?” Leaving them on the Web serves only one purpose: to lead many to believe that this was some sort of black ops type false flag initiated and carried out with the long-term goal of disarming the American people. Put another way, I am suggesting that the public reaction/controversy over the 2nd Amendment was not only anticipated but was the cornerstone and goal of the plan from the beginning.
Look, if the plan were to disarm American citizens by carrying out massacres like Sandy Hook, then why do they need so many of these Jokers?
What’s going on here? Do you really believe Adam Lanza or James Holmes woke up one morning believing they were in a Batman movie, painted their hair red, and then went on a rampage killing of innocent children?
What am I saying here? Sandy Hook, Aurora, Columbine and Tucson were never about gun control or mental health; they were about instilling fear, anxiety, apprehension and foster feelings of resentment and rage in order to create negative energy.
Fear that another lone gunman will wake up one day and kill a bunch of innocent kids. Sandy Hook and the other mass shootings are about the negative energy that was the inevitable outcome of the debate over gun control.
Coming soon, why would anyone want to create fear and negative energy.
Want more proof? Obama quoted the following biblical passage in his speech at the Sandy Hook Interfaith Prayer Vigil in Newtown:
"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." ~ 2 Corinthians 4:18

[8] Sandy Hook Massacre: Official Story Spins Out of Control (Dec. 18, 2012)
Most of the initial mainstream media reports have since been rewritten to fit 'new' facts proclaimed by 'law enforcement officials'. Here's an example from Business Insider. The following excerpts are the opening paragraphs from the 'same' article, one earlier original version, followed by the later revised version: The massacre [...] was reportedly perpetrated with a .233 caliber rifle, a Glock pistol and a Sig Sauer pistol.
The Bushmaster rifle was found in the trunk of the shooter's car. The Sig Sauer and Glock pistols were the only weapons used in the shooting, according to CBS. Now the question is what kind of magazine would allow a shooter to fire "100" rounds in such a short period. Indeed, I was wondering the same thing. How could two pistols do so much damage? The report was updated as follows: The massacre in Connecticut that's taken the lives of at least 26 people was reportedly perpetrated with a .223 caliber rifle, a Glock pistol and a Sig Sauer pistol, according to NBC:
The shooter was using one Sig Sauer and one Glock pistol, according to CNN. Later details emerged that the primary weapon was the Bushmaster "assault-style" rifle.
Altogether, though, it doesn't matter what type of weapon the shooter used. The bottom line is that it was likely a magazine fed, semi-automatic, with enough rounds to shoot "100 shots" in a matter of minutes, as quoted in USA Today

Former Stasi Lieutenant Colonel On NSA’s Mass Surveillance: ‘It Is The Height Of Naivete To Think That Once Collected This Information Won’t Be Used’

June 28th, 2013 Via: McClatchy:
Wolfgang Schmidt was seated in Berlin’s 1,200-foot-high TV tower, one of the few remaining landmarks left from the former East Germany. Peering out over the city that lived in fear when the communist party ruled it, he pondered the magnitude of domestic spying in the United States under the Obama administration. A smile spread across his face.
“You know, for us, this would have been a dream come true,” he said, recalling the days when he was a lieutenant colonel in the defunct communist country’s secret police, the Stasi.
In those days, his department was limited to tapping 40 phones at a time, he recalled. Decide to spy on a new victim and an old one had to be dropped, because of a lack of equipment. He finds breathtaking the idea that the U.S. government receives daily reports on the cellphone usage of millions of Americans and can monitor the Internet traffic of millions more.
“So much information, on so many people,” he said.
East Germany’s Stasi has long been considered the standard of police state surveillance during the Cold War years, a monitoring regime so vile and so intrusive that agents even noted when their subjects were overheard engaging in sexual intercourse. Against that backdrop, Germans have greeted with disappointment, verging on anger, the news that somewhere in a U.S. government databank are the records of where millions of people were when they made phone calls or what video content they streamed on their computers in the privacy of their homes.
Even Schmidt, 73, who headed one of the more infamous departments in the infamous Stasi, called himself appalled. The dark side to gathering such a broad, seemingly untargeted, amount of information is obvious, he said.
“It is the height of naivete to think that once collected this information won’t be used,” he said. “This is the nature of secret government organizations. The only way to protect the people’s privacy is not to allow the government to collect their information in the first place.”

How Wall Street Has Turned Housing Into a Dangerous Get-Rich-Quick Scheme—Again

same "old" tricks ... just a "new" way ?

Hedge funds and private equity firms have quietly bought 200,000 cheap, mostly foreclosed houses in cities hardest hit by the economic meltdown.

| Fri Nov. 29, 2013

This story first appeared on the TomDispatch website.
You can hardly turn on the television or open a newspaper without hearing about the nation's impressive, much celebrated housing recovery. Home prices are rising! New construction has started! The crisis is over! Yet beneath the fanfare, a whole new get-rich-quick scheme is brewing.
Over the last year and a half, Wall Street hedge funds and private equity firms have quietly amassed an unprecedented rental empire, snapping up Queen Anne Victorians in Atlanta, brick-faced bungalows in Chicago, Spanish revivals in Phoenix. In total, these deep-pocketed investors have bought more than 200,000 cheap, mostly foreclosed houses in cities hardest hit by the economic meltdown.
Wall Street's foreclosure crisis, which began in late 2007 and forced more than 10 million people from their homes, has created a paradoxical problem. Millions of evicted Americans need a safe place to live, even as millions of vacant, bank-owned houses are blighting neighborhoods and spurring a rise in crime. Lucky for us, Wall Street has devised a solution: It's going to rent these foreclosed houses back to us. In the process, it's devised a new form of securitization that could cause this whole plan to blow up—again.
Since the buying frenzy began, no company has picked up more houses than the Blackstone Group, the largest private equity firm in the world. Using a subsidiary company, Invitation Homes, Blackstone has grabbed houses at foreclosure auctions, through local brokers, and in bulk purchases directly from banks the same way a regular person might stock up on toilet paper from Costco.
In one move, it bought 1,400 houses in Atlanta in a single day. As of November, Blackstone had spent $7.5 billion to buy 40,000 mostly foreclosed houses across the country. That's a spending rate of $100 million a week since October 2012. It recently announced plans to take the business international, beginning in foreclosure-ravaged Spain.
Few outside the finance industry have heard of Blackstone. Yet today, it's the largest owner of single-family rental homes in the nation—and of a whole lot of other things, too. It owns part or all of the Hilton Hotel chain, Southern Cross Healthcare, Houghton Mifflin publishing house, the Weather Channel, Sea World, the arts and crafts chain Michael's, Orangina, and dozens of other companies.
Blackstone manages more than $210 billion in assets, according to its 2012 Securities and Exchange Commission annual filing. It's also a public company with a list of institutional owners that reads like a who's who of companies recently implicated in lawsuits over the mortgage crisis, including Morgan Stanley, Citigroup, Deutsche Bank, UBS, Bank of America, Goldman Sachs, and of course JP Morgan Chase, which just settled a lawsuit with the Department of Justice over its risky and often illegal mortgage practices, agreeing to pay an unprecedented $13 billion fine.
In other words, if Blackstone makes money by capitalizing on the housing crisis, all these other Wall Street banks—generally regarded as the main culprits in creating the conditions that led to the foreclosure crisis in the first place—make money too.
An All-Cash Goliath
In neighborhoods across the country, many residents didn't have to know what Blackstone was to realize that things were going seriously wrong.
Last year, Mark Alston, a real estate broker in Los Angeles, began noticing something strange happening. Home prices were rising. And they were rising fast—up 20% between October 2012 and the same month this year. In a normal market, rising home prices would mean increased demand from homebuyers. But here was the unnerving thing: the homeownership rate was dropping, the first sign for Alston that the market was somehow out of whack.
The second sign was the buyers themselves.
Click here to see a larger version

About 5% of Blackstone's properties, approximately 2,000 houses, are located in the Charlotte metro area. Of those, just under 1,000 (pictured above) are in Mecklenberg County, the city's center. (Map by Anthony Giancatarino, research by Symone New.)
"I went two years without selling to a black family, and that wasn't for lack of trying," says Alston, whose business is concentrated in inner-city neighborhoods where the majority of residents are African American and Hispanic. Instead, all his buyers—every last one of them—were besuited businessmen. And weirder yet, they were all paying in cash.
Between 2005 and 2009, the mortgage crisis, fueled by racially discriminatory lending practices, destroyed 53% of African American wealth and 66% of Hispanic wealth, figures that stagger the imagination. As a result, it's safe to say that few blacks or Hispanics today are buying homes outright, in cash. Blackstone, on the other hand, doesn't have a problem fronting the money, given its $3.6 billion credit line arranged by Deutsche Bank. This money has allowed it to outbid families who have to secure traditional financing. It's also paved the way for the company to purchase a lot of homes very quickly, shocking local markets and driving prices up in a way that pushes even more families out of the game.
"You can't compete with a company that's betting on speculative future value when they're playing with cash," says Alston. "It's almost like they planned this."
In hindsight, it's clear that the Great Recession fueled a terrific wealth and asset transfer away from ordinary Americans and to financial institutions. During that crisis, Americans lost trillions of dollars of household wealth when housing prices crashed, while banks seized about five million homes. But what's just beginning to emerge is how, as in the recession years, the recovery itself continues to drive the process of transferring wealth and power from the bottom to the top.
From 2009-2012, the top 1% of Americans captured 95% of income gains. Now, as the housing market rebounds, billions of dollars in recovered housing wealth are flowing straight to Wall Street instead of to families and communities. Since spring 2012, just at the time when Blackstone began buying foreclosed homes in bulk, an estimated $88 billion of housing wealth accumulation has gone straight to banks or institutional investors as a result of their residential property holdings, according to an analysis by TomDispatch. And it's a number that's likely to just keep growing.
"Institutional investors are siphoning the wealth and the ability for wealth accumulation out of underserved communities," says Henry Wade, founder of the Arizona Association of Real Estate Brokers.
But buying homes cheap and then waiting for them to appreciate in value isn't the only way Blackstone is making money on this deal. It wants your rental payment, too.
Securitizing Rentals
Wall Street's rental empire is entirely new. The single-family rental industry used to be the bailiwick of small-time mom-and-pop operations. But what makes this moment unprecedented is the financial alchemy that Blackstone added. In November, after many months of hype, Blackstone released history's first rated bond backed by securitized rental payments. And once investors tripped over themselves in a rush to get it, Blackstone's competitors announced that they, too, would develop similar securities as soon as possible.
Depending on whom you ask, the idea of bundling rental payments and selling them off to investors is either a natural evolution of the finance industry or a fire-breathing chimera.
"This is a new frontier," comments Ted Weinstein, a consultant in the real-estate-owned homes industry for 30 years. "It's something I never really would have dreamt of."
However, to anyone who went through the 2008 mortgage-backed-security crisis, this new territory will sound strangely familiar.
"It's just like a residential mortgage-backed security," said one hedge-fund investor whose company does business with Blackstone. When asked why the public should expect these securities to be safe, given the fact that risky mortgage-backed securities caused the 2008 collapse, he responded, "Trust me."
For Blackstone, at least, the logic is simple. The company wants money upfront to purchase more cheap, foreclosed homes before prices rise. So it's joined forces with JP Morgan, Credit Suisse, and Deutsche Bank to bundle the rental payments of 3,207 single-family houses and sell this bond to investors with mortgages on the underlying houses offered as collateral. This is, of course, just a test case for what could become a whole new industry of rental-backed securities.
Many major Wall Street banks are involved in the deal, according to a copy of the private pitch documents Blackstone sent to potential investors on October 31st, which was reviewed by TomDispatch. Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan, and Credit Suisse are helping market the bond. Wells Fargo is the certificate administrator. Midland Loan Services, a subsidiary of PNC Bank, is the loan servicer. (By the way, Deutsche Bank, JP Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo, and PNC Bank are all members of another clique: the list of banks foreclosing on the most families in 2013.)
According to interviews with economists, industry insiders, and housing activists, people are more or less holding their collective breath, hoping that what looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck won't crash the economy the same way the last flock of ducks did.
"You kind of just hope they know what they're doing," says Dean Baker, an economist with the Center for Economic and Policy Research. "That they have provisions for turnover and vacancies. But have they done that? Have they taken the appropriate care? I certainly wouldn't count on it." The cash flow analysis in the documents sent to investors assumes that 95% of these homes will be rented at all times, at an average monthly rent of $1,312. It's an occupancy rate that real estate professionals describe as ambitious.
There's one significant way, however, in which this kind of security differs from its mortgage-backed counterpart. When banks repossess mortgaged homes as collateral, there is at least the assumption (often incorrect due to botched or falsified paperwork from the banks) that the homeowner has, indeed, defaulted on her mortgage. In this case, however, if a single home-rental bond blows up, thousands of families could be evicted, whether or not they ever missed a single rental payment.
"We could well end up in that situation where you get a lot of people getting evicted... not because the tenants have fallen behind but because the landlords have fallen behind," says Baker.
Bugs in Blackstone's Housing Dreams
Whether these new securities are safe may boil down to the simple question of whether Blackstone proves to be a good property manager. Decent management practices will ensure high occupancy rates, predictable turnover, and increased investor confidence. Bad management will create complaints, investigations, and vacancies, all of which will increase the likelihood that Blackstone won't have the cash flow to pay investors back.
If you ask CaDonna Porter, a tenant in one of Blackstone's Invitation Homes properties in a suburb outside Atlanta, property management is exactly the skill that Blackstone lacks. "If I could shorten my lease—I signed a two-year lease—I definitely would," says Porter.
The cockroaches and fat water bugs were the first problem in the Invitation Homes rental that she and her children moved into in September. Porter repeatedly filed online maintenance requests that were canceled without anyone coming to investigate the infestation. She called the company's repairs hotline. No one answered.
The second problem arrived in an email with the subject line marked "URGENT." Invitation Homes had failed to withdraw part of Porter's November payment from her bank account, prompting the company to demand that she deliver the remaining payment in person, via certified funds, by five p.m. the following day or incur "the additional legal fee of $200 and dispossessory," according to email correspondences reviewed by TomDispatch.
Porter took off from work to deliver the money order in person, only to receive an email saying that the payment had been rejected because it didn't include the $200 late fee and an additional $75 insufficient funds fee. What followed were a maddening string of emails that recall the fraught and often fraudulent interactions between homeowners and mortgage-servicing companies. Invitation Homes repeatedly threatened to file for eviction unless Porter paid various penalty fees. She repeatedly asked the company to simply accept her month's payment and leave her alone.
"I felt really harassed. I felt it was very unjust," says Porter. She ultimately wrote that she would seek legal counsel, which caused Invitation Homes to immediately agree to accept the payment as "a one-time courtesy."
Porter is still frustrated by the experience—and by the continued presence of the cockroaches. ("I put in another request today about the bugs, which will probably be canceled again.")
A recent Huffington Post investigation and dozens of online reviews written by Invitation Homes tenants echo Porter's frustrations. Many said maintenance requests went unanswered, while others complained that their spiffed-up houses actually had underlying structural issues.
There's also at least one documented case of Blackstone moving into murkier legal territory. This fall, the Orlando, Florida, branch of Invitation Homes appeared to mail forged eviction notices to a homeowner named Francisco Molina, according to the Orlando Sentinel. Delivered in letter-sized manila envelopes, the fake notices claimed that an eviction had been filed against Molina in court, although the city confirmed otherwise. The kicker is that Invitation Homes didn't even have the right to evict Molina, legally or otherwise. Blackstone's purchase of the house had been reversed months earlier, but the company had lost track of that information.
The Great Recession of 2016?
These anecdotal stories about Invitation Homes being quick to evict tenants may prove to be the trend rather than the exception, given Blackstone's underlying business model. Securitizing rental payments creates an intense pressure on the company to ensure that the monthly checks keep flowing. For renters, that may mean you either pay on the first of the month every month, or you're out.
Although Blackstone has issued only one rental-payment security so far, it already seems to be putting this strict protocol into place. In Charlotte, North Carolina, for example, the company has filed eviction proceedings against a full 10% of its renters, according to a report by the Charlotte Observer.

About 9% of Blackstone's properties, approximately 3,600 houses, are located in the Phoenix metro area. Most are in low- to middle-income neighborhoods. (Map by Anthony Giancatarino, research by Jose Taveras.)
Forty thousand homes add up to only a small percentage of the total national housing stock. Yet in the cities Blackstone has targeted most aggressively, the concentration of its properties is staggering. In Phoenix, Arizona, some neighborhoods have at least one, if not two or three, Blackstone-owned homes on just about every block.
This inundation has some concerned that the private equity giant, perhaps in conjunction with other institutional investors, will exercise undue influence over regional markets, pushing up rental prices because of a lack of competition. The biggest concern among many ordinary Americans, however, should be that, not too many years from now, this whole rental empire and its hot new class of securities might fail, sending the economy into an all-too-familiar tailspin.
"You're allowing Wall Street to control a significant sector of single-family housing," said Michael Donley, a resident of Chicago who has been investigating Blackstone's rapidly expanding presence in his neighborhood. "But is it sustainable?" he wondered. "It could all collapse in 2016, and you'll be worse off than in 2008."
