The story of life on Earth thus far has had an unmistakable direction, and it has moved toward greater complexity. Sure, evolution has seen lots of fits and starts and collapses and mass extinctions. And yes, some replicators (like viruses) seem to have become less complex over time.
But from a 100,000 foot view of Earth in the last, say, 4.5 billion years, the direction of life on Earth looks approximately clear: given enough time, a process that started with simple organic molecules slowly-but-steadily built organisms with brains that can reflect on themselves.
The evolutionary process takes awhile, but eventually, humans show up — social animals with brains that can develop language, iterate on tools, and reflect on their own nature (among lots of other amazing things). What do we then do with these miraculous brains?
We launch a new kind of evolution.
The Dawn of Cultural Evolution
It’s hard to overstate how epic this fact is: For the few billion or so years that evolution took to produce us, all of the evolution going on was biological. In other words, evolution’s primary mode of operation began and ended with genes.
Humans, for all of our foibles, stupidities and evils, did something pretty miraculous: We switched up this M.O.

When humans weren’t busy eating, having sex, or finding better ways to eat and have sex, they were waging war on their neighbors and finding better ways to wage war.

Suddenly, genes (our genes, at least) took a secondary role in the story of intelligence on Earth. Memes (a fancy way of saying “cultures, ideas and technologies that persist and evolve through time”) took center stage. With the emergence of a life form that could invent new stuff, improve it, trade it with others, and pass the know-how down through generations, the era of cultural evolution had begun.
Just as biological evolution started with relatively simple organic structures and slowly but steadily built increasingly complex organisms, cultural evolution took relatively simple social structures (tribal groups) and iterated on them until the result was a global civilization.
For the sake of brevity, I’ve made all of this sound like a simple, elegant process.
The reality, of course, is dark and ugly. 
Like biological evolution—a force that mercilessly kills, eats, and starves animals and plants as it selects for fitness and luck against the rough odds of life, cultural evolution has generally used death and destruction as its lathe.
Yes, when humans weren’t busy eating, having sex, or finding better ways to eat and have sex, they were waging war on their neighbors and finding better ways to wage war. The cultures, ideas, and technologies that achieved the upper hand in war over their rivals either annihilated these rivals or assimilated them or some combination of both.
Over the long-term horizon, this process — which involved more murder, rape and enslavement than I want to think about — brought us from tribes to chiefdoms to cities and states and empires and nations.
And so, 50,000-80,000 years after homo sapiens learned to talk, here we are: an interconnected species whose reach and dominion spans the entire planet.
The Revolutionary, Evolutionary Power of Communication Technologies
To understand why digital telepathy is the logical next step in this journey, it helps to see the major leaps in cultural evolution as breakthroughs in communication technology.
By “breakthroughs in communications technology,” I mean the technological and cultural shifts that enabled more sophisticated communication to happen faster and more often between larger and larger groups of people. 
Specifically, I’m thinking of: 

• The development of language, which is generally considered to mark the dawn of the modern human.
• The growth of trade, which helped technologies and ideas spread between groups and may have given us the edge over the other hominids that were cohabiting the Earth when we arrived on the scene.
• The rise of agriculture, which enabled human societies to settle down, stop roaming the Earth in search of food, and breed more humans.
• The development of writing, which facilitated (among other things) formal codes of law, increasingly sophisticated economic exchanges, and more efficient transmission and dispersal of knowledge.
• Roads and the wheel, which let tech, knowledge, and armies move faster over greater distances.
• The printing press, which dramatically accelerated the production of texts and the distribution of world-changing ideas.
• Navigation, which made global trade (and conquest) feasible for the first time.
• Steam power, which made global and continental trade and idea exchange go faster.
• The industrial revolution, which re-oriented the center of human life away from the fields and into the cities and incentivized rapid innovation in both ways of commerce and war.
• The birth of the Internet, which enabled digital information to travel across the entire planet at nearly the speed of light, and…

The Most Revolutionary Communication Technology Yet
There are smart people who argue that humanity’s most important technological advances happened in the first 60 years of the 20th century. They point to urbanization, electricity, medicine, cars, airplanes, mass production, etc., and say that the development of the Internet pales in significance.
And to be fair, they are right…so far: Compared to the shifts in the human way of life that emerged in the wake of the industrial revolution, the Internet and smartphones seem a bit lightweight. 

But these people are just impatient. Along the curve of change that computation and the Internet will produce if we don’t destroy our civilization first, we are nowhere near the apex. 
Indeed, the revolutionary evolutions that the Internet will ultimately bring into the story of life on Earth are so profound that calling the next breakthrough in communications technology a “singularity” isn’t too far off base.
Digital telepathy: the next breakthrough in the evolution of intelligence on Earth
Imagine what it would be like if you could transmit thoughts and feelings between yourself and other people without opening your mouth, putting a pen to paper, or typing a single word. 
You can’t.

There are a number of paths that lead the way to digital telepathy, and they are not all roses and unicorns. One obvious, terrifying use case is super soldiers.

We can talk about things like digital telepathy and think about the potential range of consequences for humanity that would spin out of its wake, but because human consciousness is limited to its own experience, it’s impossible for any of us to truly imagine what telepathy would be like. The crazy part is that barring a total civilizational meltdown, the prospect of digital telepathy will eventually stop being a prospect we can only attempt to imagine and start being a reality that some of us live.
Here are some recent key developments: 

• This August, a handful of researchers announced that they had produced the first brain-to-brain communication between humans over the Internet. What this meant in practice was that two people wearing high-tech EEGs on their heads were able to transmit text messages just by thinking really hard, but hey, it’s a start.
• In 2012, researchers testing brain implants on rats found that implanted rats in one part of the world were able to control the behavior of implanted rats in another, using their minds.
• This year, a group of scientists at Berkeley led by Jack Gallant used fMRI to scan people’s brains while they watched video clips and created an algorithm that could translate the brain signals into rough pictures of the images they were seeing.

I don’t know about you, but to me, all of those things look like seeds that eventually produce brains that talk to each other over the Internet without typing or talking.
There are a number of paths that lead the way to digital telepathy, and they are not all roses and unicorns. One obvious, terrifying use case is super soldiers.
Few things would confer more of a tactical advantage than the capacity to communicate with your squad and coordinate your collective actions without uttering a single word. If you’re a world leader and you know the tech is possible, are you really going stand idle while rival nations and rich terrorist organizations develop military-grade telepathy?
You tell me.
The more optimistic guess is that it will start with people suffering debilitating conditions. Are you callous enough to tell the family of someone who is in a “locked-in” state — conscious, but unable to move or speak — that “Yes, we’re going to keep your loved one alive until their body dies, but no, you’ll never be able to communicate with them again?”
And if the technology requires drilling a small hole into their skulls and implanting electrodes and a chip? Yikes. It gets murky fast.
But it’s hard to see what — short of the downfall of human civilization — would stop the evolution of digital telepathy from eventually happening. There are just too many structural forces that are larger than any of us pushing it forward*.
Evolution happens
When the time comes for the human species to evolve, it will look to us like we are in control…that by manipulating our own DNA or implanting computers into our bodies, we have somehow seized the reins of the process and become gods.
But this appearance will only be a ruse.
Evolution — whether it is truly a blind, purposeless watchmaker or not — has been around for a while. It is older, more powerful, and more subtle than we could ever be.
It will continue doing what it does, driving complexity and consciousness higher, allowing us to think we are playing it when really, it is us getting played.

* It’s worth noting that just because I believe that digital telepathy is the likely next step in human evolution doesn’t mean I believe that this transition is the same as Progress. While there are certainly ways that evolving beyond the limitations of our present brains could benefit us and the planet at large, there are also ways it could beget a whole lot of suffering, war, and death, and that stuff sucks.

Yesterday I blogged about the President of Argentina, Cristine Fernandez de Kirchner, or rather, I let her blog about herself. I posted a video of her speech to the UN General Assembly, in which she clearly points the finger to American corruption and run-amok hedge funds as being the source of much of her nation’s current political and economic difficulty. There was little doubt about this, especially when she named the American judge by name – Judge Griesa – who has recently found Argentina in contempt of court. Nor was there any doubt about her intentions when she stated that Argentina, currently a temporary member of the UN Security council, intended to put some hard questions to those with the vast information and surveillance resources to know what’s really going on, a thinly veiled reference to the USA and its NSA electronic espionage programs. In other words, President Fernandez was signalling the fact that Argentina has had enough with American unipolarism and the blatant corruption of its economic imperialism and corrupt courts.
During that speech, however, President Fernandez also alluded to the fact that Argentine intelligence had informed her of threats to her life and security emanating from – you guessed it – ISIS. This in and of itself was another bit of subtle finger-pointing on her part, in a speech that was nothing less than a passionate and argued exposure of what was breaking down relationships of international political and financial trust, for as most are aware, and doubtless President Fernandez is aware, there is a growing body of evidence and discourse on the internet tying ISIS once again to the intelligence communities of the very countries it claims to oppose. In other words, once again, President Fernandez was pointing a not-so-subtle finger at the USA.
But if there was ever any doubt about her interpretation of these threats and events, this has more recently been dispelled by a news story coming out of Argentina itself about these allegations:
The President Of Argentina Thinks The US Wants Her Dead
Note the key passages here:

“In a speech earlier this week the President of Argentina struck an ominous tone, telling her people that if anything happens to her they should “look to the north.”
“Argentine newspaper Clarin reported that U.S. intelligence picked up ISIS threats against the President. She brushed those off in disbelief (she has been at odds with Clarin before).
“‘Please, listen, if something happens to me, and I say this very seriously, if something happens to me do not look to the Middle East. Look to the North… because after seeing the things that they’re(sic) diplomatic representatives are doing, after hearing these declarations that honestly seem like exercises in cyniscm, after seeing the things I’ve seen in the United Nations, it seems they’d want us to believe an entire story that ISIS is coming for me to kill me or to do something — oh please, do not create some novela.’
In recent days the United States Embassy in Argentina released a warning to U.S. citizens in the country. Based on threats to the Embassy itself, the report recommended that Americans “always be aware of their surroundings and maintain a high level of vigilance”.
President Fernandez called this report a “provocation.”

President Fernandez’s statements leave one with as many questions as answers, and the first is, what are the sources behind her statements  that if anything happens to her, “look to the North.” Presumably she has learned something from the Secretaria de Intelligencia. But Argentina’s intelligence services are, presumably, not the far-flung global agencies that say, a USA or UK command. At some point, in other words, Argentina’s intelligence services may have been tipped off by someone within some other western intelligence service, or perhaps by the Russian or Chinese, or some other BRICSA bloc nation, and that raises the stakes considerably. The article makes it clear that the alleged ISIS threats against President Fernandez are coming from US intelligence. This, she has simply laughed off, and pointed the finger at the USA. So again, it would appear that she has intelligence from some other source.
The second problem implied by the article is the US embassy’s warning to American citizens in Argentina, claiming there were threats – from ISIS?(ponder the implications of that one for a moment) – to the Embassy itself. In the context, President Fernandez clearly fingered the activity of US diplomats – pointedly those in the UN – but in the context of the Ukrainian fiasco (think only of “Lady” Victoria Nuland’s “F*** the EU” comment), one wonders if President Fernandez is subtly trying to warn of the possibility of US “covert ops” against that country.
There is also, it seems to me, to be a third problem, and while I do not for one moment doubt that Ms. Fernandez’s  fears are justified, nor blame her for entertaining them, I do question the utility of any threat against her. Removing her from office, by any means short of another Ukrainian style US-backed coup would only seem to fill the vacancy by another version of her. And there’s the rub, for rumor has it, that there are a few left-over Fascists in that country as well, or their descendants. And after all, the connections between those Second World War Fascists and “radical Islam” ran very wide, and very deep. A coup, in other words, might not be entirely out of the picture for the insane plutocratic sociopaths running the USA.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics headline this morning reads: “Payroll employment increases by 248,000 in September; unemployment rate declines to 5.9%.”
How can this be? As I reported yesterday, US corporations are investing in buying back their own stocks, not in new business ventures that produce new jobs.

According to the Census Bureau’s Poverty Report, US real median family income has declined to the level of twenty years ago.

Consumer credit and real retail sales are not growing. Construction is limited to rental units. Construction shows 16,000 new jobs, half of which are “specialty trade contractors” or home remodelers.
The payroll jobs report lists 35,300 new jobs in retail trade. How is this possible when J.C. Penny’s, Macy’s, Sears, and the dollar store chains are in trouble and closing stores, and shopping centers are renting space by the day or hour?
At a time when there is a surfeit of office buildings and only 500 new jobs in “heavy and civil engineering construction,” the jobs report says 6,000 new jobs have been created in “architectural and engineering services.” What work are these architects and engineers doing?
The 4,900 computer systems jobs, if they exist, are likely short-term contracts from 6 to 18 months. Those who have the jobs are not employees but “independent contractors.”
The payroll jobs report gives an unusually high number–81,000–of “professional and business services” jobs of which 60,000 are “administrative and waste services,” primarily “temporary help services.”
“Health care and social assistance” accounts for 22,700 of the new jobs, of which 63 percent consist of “ambulatory health care services.”
“Performing arts and spectator sports” gave the economy 7,200 jobs, and 20,400 Americans found employment as waitresses and bartenders.
State governments hired 22,000 people.
Let’s overlook the contribution of the discredited “birth-death model” which overstates on average the monthly payroll jobs by at least 50,000, and let’s ignore the manipulation of seasonal adjustments. Instead, let’s assume the numbers are real. What kind of economy are we looking at?
We are looking at the workforce of a third world country with the vast bulk of the jobs in low-pay domestic service jobs. People working these part-time and independent contractor jobs cannot form a household or obtain a mortgage.
As John Titus, Dave Kranzler and I have shown, these jobs are filled by those aged 55 and over who take the low paying jobs in order to supplement meager retirement incomes. The baby boomers are the only part of the US labor force whose participation rate is rising.

Of the claimed new jobs in September, 230,000 or 93 percent were jobs filled by those 55 and older. Employment of Americans of prime working age (25-54) declined by10,000 jobs in September from the August level.

As the US labor force continues its transition from first world to third world, real median family income will continue to decline. Ladders of upward mobility will continue to be dismantled, and income and wealth will continue to concentrate in the pockets of the One Percent. America is truly a country run for the few.

FOUR BLOOD MOONS

Something appears to be afoot. The NWO has released the hounds across the full spectrum of the global theater. The media are pounding the war drums for ISIS ad infinitum ad nauseam. It appears most of the great NATO partners can lay claim to a beheaded. All have used these events which were most likely manufactured war propaganda events as a casus belli for military action, but isn't it always that way. The war photograph is the greatest weapon in existence to mobilize a populace for the desired conflict of the state. We fall for an emotional stimulus every time without ever allowing ourselves to be critical. With the beheading video we must scream fake because there's no blood as two of the body's major blood vessels are severed. Is that important? At least the devils edited out the gory stuff. They may be sadistic deranged psychopaths, but at least they know the limits of human decency for TV.



You know something is cooking because they bringing out the BIG GUNS. The number one intelligence asset of al MI6DA has to be Samantha Lewthwaite the notorious white widow of 7/7 bomber Germaine Lindsay. The July 7th event was a black ops from the get go with the exact stations practicing terror drills. All the events went live real fast. Of course it is widely accepted by free thinkers the tube attacks didn't happen as they said. One witness who survived, Bruce Lait, stated there was no man with a back pack standing near the explosion. The hole blew in from underneath as well. It was a set up job and a propaganda deception of repute. That witness got to meet the Queen. That changed his perspective I'm sure. The infamous photo of the bombers was faked too. Look at what you see not what they suggest you see.



The chap at the far right has been drawn in. The one at the back too. Look at the bars on the fence. One is in front of him and one is behind. The top one enters his ears. Fake photos win wars. A Hollywood special effects man took this one apart for me. If you're really good, you can work on the pay phone. It has a clock on it. If you can enhance it, it may very well not match the time date stamp of the video. Samantha has traveled to the ISIS heartland to train suicide bombers. We outed her after the Westgate Mall terror attack in Nairobi, Kenya. She a British agent in my opinion, but then ISIS is a NATO operation. They are among friends. The Nairobi job took out top vaccine specialists. Were they in the know now that Ebola has been released?



This catch and release terrorist is Abdul Baset Azzouz or Abd al-Baset Azzouz. He was an al CIAda operative of the highest order captured by British Police in May 2006 in of all places Manchester where the Chief Constable was murdered. He was released on bail and of course fled. He fought with al Qaeda in the Libyan operation the killed Ambassador Stevens in the State Department regime change. Stevens was whacked by his own administration in a carefully arranged false flag operation. Obama's top men were on that team. If he's being called out for a return engagement, it's going to be fast and furious.



Not to be outdone the Canadians have a dog in the fight. Twenty one year old Canadian-Somali Farah Mohamed Shirdon has packed off for the sand and make videos extolling terror in the homeland U.S. soil. Having worked in a movie theater he's an expert at the film manipulation required to turn the average American into a quivering bowl of Jello at the mere mention of the ISIS name. Our intelligence agency CSIS doesn't fit the acronym game well. We might just call them al CSIS Martyr's Brigade.

The NWO order want oil the life blood of the planet. They are going to destabilize many parts of the world. Syria is the primary target under attack under the illusion of bombing the beheaders ISIS. After them we may see renewed action in the Ukraine as the Russian Empire is completely boxed in. However, these revelations tell us the time is nigh for some terror attacks. New York and Paris were revealed as targets before. I think they are high on the list. If the Satanic NWO have plans, they may very well have a blood sacrifice by the light of the blood moon. The next one is October 8th. Be prepared. They are desperate. The banking system needs blood. They'll take anybody's. It's in the cards and tagged to the blood moon.
