Former FBI Weatherman Task Force supervisor, Max Noel, noted that the FBI utilized a CARL test when it conducted background checks on various suspects. The acronym CARL stands for Character, Associates, Reputation, and Loyalty used to assess candidates fitness to hold the highest office in the country. On each of these four points of power, Obama fails and fails miserably. Like many FBI law enforcement agents and officials, Noel was alarmed by the fact that someone like Barack Obama could capture the presidency. For some unexplained reason, Obama was never vetted before he became a candidate for the presidency by the FBI. This is an unacceptable result of our national security system and is wholly suggestive of internal plot to allow the installation of a blatantly communist advocate into the highest political position in America.

Today, many people have been in a position to now vet the President after Obama’s first five years in office and observed his “fundamentally transforming America“. This particular series will continue to connect the dots of the secretive and nefarious communist background of Barack Hussein Obama.

Obama was the right man, at the right time to engineer a total communist subversion of the United States are these are not merely the words of journalistic rhetoric designed to sensationalize the sentiment which has grown in opposition to the communist policies of an unpopular president. The allegations of Obama’s communists affiliations and political philosophy have concrete ties to reality.

Soviet Defectors Warn of Deception and the Emergence of a Manchurian Candidate

Through the testimony of high-ranking Soviet defectors, it can clearly be established that the Russians have been engaged in a multi-generational plot to destroy the United States from within and from without. Domestically, the Russian communists are in the midst of completing a coup d’état, with of the help their communist stooge, Barack Obama. In the following paragraphs, the verbatim statements of high ranking Soviet defectors are offered as proof of these claims. The first three defectors tell how the Soviets are setting the table for America’s demise. Stunningly, the fourth defector warns our country of a Manchurian candidate type of leadership whose job it will be to hand over a weakened America to the Russians.

After he defected to England, Viktor Suvorov, a former Russian intelligence analyst and GRU’s elite Russian special forces leader, revealed Russia’s top-secret plans to attack the United States. Suvorov has repeatedly warned the Americans of Russia’s true intentions after the Russian high command had succeeded in getting Pentagon officials to let down their guard and engage in a high level, but mostly one-sided, technology transfer.

In 1970, another Soviet defector, Yuri Bezmenov, a well renowned media/propaganda expert defected to the United States, and subsequently exposed the KGB’s “ideological subversion” tactics against American society. Bezmenov conducted a number of interviews in which he explains how Marxist ideology is deconstructing America’s values by controlling the media resulting in the Russian doctrine of the demoralization the country. Bezemenov stated that this would ultimately destabilize the economy. How about 101 million Americans on welfare by the year 2013? I would say that this would count as destabilization.  

The Bezmenov claims are bolstered when one consider that when he defected in 1970, abortion was not yet legal in the United States, Americans, by and large, trusted their government, the comparative use of profanity in the media was rare and there were over 250 corporations controlling 95% of the media instead of the five corporations which own the same percentage today. This media consolidation and the presence of prominent media plants, such as CNN’s Anderson Cooper, an admitted ex-CIA operative, have gone a long way towards achieving these Russian goals. Bezmenov’s account also casts serious doubts upon the severe decline of America’s moral base as being the product of a normal societal, evolutionary process which accidentally transpired. Conversely, Bezmenov has clearly identified the Leninist propaganda techniques which have been rolled out in the United States.

Stanislav Lunev, the highest ranking Soviet official to defect to the United States.

Soviet defector, Colonel Stanislav Lunev, has the distinction of being the highest ranking Russian military officer to defect from to the United States after doing so in 1992, after Boris Yeltsin came to power. Lunev’s information was considered to be so volatile, but accurate, that the CIA, DIA, FBI, NSA placed Lunev, where he remains to this day, in the FBI’s Witness Protection Program.

Lunev served as the top GRU agent in America in the 1980′s and 1990′s. While in the United States, Lunev mission involved gathering intelligence information about America’s defenses and recommending Russian war strategies against America. Some of Lunev’s information came to light, when in the 1997, he published his bestselling book Through the Eyes of the Enemy. In the book, Lunev reported that Russia’s military, despite “losing the cold war”, continues in its war preparations which are designed to conquer the United States by stealth.

Since his defection, Lunev has served as a special agent to the FBI, CIA as well as many large corporations. Lunev is best known for revealing the missing 100+ missing suitcase nuclear bombs and the threat they would pose to the United States if they were to be smuggled across the Mexican border.

Anotoliy Golitsyn

Anatoliy Golitsyn, is a high-ranking KGB defector who fled to the United States in order to warn Americans about the secret Russian plan to attack the United States. Golitsyn is generally considered to be among the first and most revealing sources on the subject of the secret Russian plans to attack. Having authored the The Perestroika Deception in which Golitsyn wrote about the deceitful intent behind the Leninist strategy which the present-day Communists are actively pursuing as they fake American style democratization efforts in Russia. According to Golitsyn, the short-term strategic objective of the Russians is to achieve a technological convergence with the West solely on Russian terms and mostly through a series of one-sided disarmament agreements and infiltration of key American governmental positions. Did you really think Alger Hiss would be the last?

According to Golitsyn, after the United States military is eliminated as a strategic threat to Russia, the long-range strategic Russian plan is to pursue Lenin’s goal of replacing nation states with collectivist model of regional governments as a stepping stone to global governance. In order to achieve their final goal, Golitsyn stated that Russia, after lulling America to sleep, will join with China in order to attack the United States from both the outside and inside as he detailed that “In each of these the scissors strategy will play its part; probably, as the final stroke, the scissors blades will close. The element of apparent duality in Soviet and Chinese policies will disappear. The hitherto concealed coordination between them will become visible and predominant. The Soviets and the Chinese will be officially reconciled. Thus the scissors strategy will develop logically into the strategy of one clenched fist to provide the foundation and driving force of a world communist federation…before long, the communist strategists might be persuaded that the balance had swung irreversibly in their favor. In that event they might well decide on a Sino-Soviet ‘reconciliation.’ The scissors strategy would give way to the strategy of “one clenched fist.” The enemies now are gathered from within. At that point the shift in the political and military balance will be plain for all to see. This is includes the compromising of key American politicians who will be used to further the takeover agenda.

The decades of Russian stealth planning have arrived and the forces are primed for battle over Syria and Iran. The opportune (Petrodollar) crisis has magically appeared and it is only a matter of time until hostilities break out. The Russians are prepared to meet the United States at the gates of Syria and Iran along with their new found Chinese allies as they have both threatened to nuke America for military incursions into Syria and Iran. Ultimately, this conflict is over which currency, the Petrodollar or gold, will prevail for the payment of Iranian oil. The economic futures of both sides hangs in the balance.

All In the Family

With the general warning by Russian defectors that a traitor was waiting in the wings, it is time to reveal the true nature of the Manchurian candidate who sits in the Oval office through a brief examination of his family members with CIA affiliations along with their exposure to the MKULTRA mind control experiments being conducted at the University of Hawaii.

With the stroke of his executive order pen, President Obama quickly moved to seal off his records from public view after his election. However, he was too late to completely hide his background as researchers, such as Wayne Madsen, have found significant  information to demonstrate that what Obama has omitted is that his rare rise to power can only be explained by his family’s CIA roots.

The election of Barack Hussein Obama is the culmination of what the Soviet defectors have been warning America about for decades in that Obama’s ascendency to the Presidency was part of a documented long-term strategic plan to recruit selected candidates into intelligence, while guiding these individuals and their families into high-ranking intelligence community positions before executing the meteoric rise to power by one of their own. For example, George H. W. Bush was a former CIA director, and CIA member going back to the 1950′s and thanks to Wayne Madsen, we now know that Obama’s family was CIA and not just CIA, but a CIA mind controlled family.

Obama is the Soviet messiah as he will eventually become known as the Second Coming of Stalin. He has been prophesied by Soviet defectors Lunev, Golitsyn, Suvorov and Bezmenov, and now he is here to fulfill his mission.

What Has Obama Done for You?

I have concluded that one has to be in the right frame of mind to be able to accept the totality of this plot because the claims against the President are so outrageous and far-reaching. To that end, I had to ask myself if Obama has done even one thing that has helped America? Has Obama instituted even one plan which assisted the beleaguered plight of the American middle class?

Ask Not What Your Mother Russia Can Do for You, Ask What You Can Do for Mother Russia

Obamacare will directly compromise 20% of the nation’s GDP while dramatically raising rates while cutting essential medical treatment. Under Obama, welfare recipients now outnumber full time workers in America. Unable to ram through his economy killing cap and trade policies, Obama is getting these policies implemented in local Agenda 21 programs at the state and county level and we are beginning to see a corresponding rise in skyrocketing utility rates. This is exacerbated by the record number of coal plants that Obama has targeted for extinction. The dangerous practice known as fracking is increasing at an alarming rate. Fifty million Americans are now on food stamps. Obama led the ushering in of the NDAA and as a result, there is no longer an American Constitution. If you are, or were a member of the American middle class, Obama is your decided enemy. But the greatest threat of Obama’s treason against the rank and file of this country does not lie solely in economic betrayal, it lies in his compromising the military defenses in the country and this will be a topic of discussion in part two.

Phase I of Obama’s Grooming for Treason: The Obama Family’s CIA Background

The following paragraph represents quoted excerpts from Wayne Madsen’s exceptional investigation into the Obama family CIA background:

“President Obama’s own work in 1983 for Business International Corporation, a CIA front that conducted seminars with the world’s most powerful leaders and used journalists as agents abroad, dovetails with CIA espionage activities conducted by his mother, Stanley Ann Dunham in 1960′s post-coup Indonesia on behalf of a number of CIA front operations, including the East-West Center at the University of Hawaii, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), and the Ford Foundation. Dunham met and married Lolo Soetoro, Obama’s stepfather, at the East-West Center in 1965. Soetoro was recalled to Indonesia in 1965 to serve as a senior army officer and assist General Suharto and the CIA in the bloody overthrow of President Sukarno….   Soetoro worked for the elitist Ford Foundation, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, Bank Rakyat (the majority government-owned People’s Bank of Indonesia), and the CIA-linked USAID while she lived in Indonesia and later, Pakistan….. Barack Obama, on the other hand, cleverly masked his own CIA connections as well as those of his mother, father, step-father, and grandmother (there is very little known about Obama’s grandfather, Stanley Armour Dunham.“

Madsen painstakingly and conclusively demonstrated that virtually all of Obama’s relatives were CIA operatives. Madsen has found even more CIA connections to Obama’s first employer. Madsen went on to describe how Obama’s family was clearly exposed and was intimately connected to MKULTRA’s mind control program at the University of Hawaii. It’s a Small World, After All

President Obama and former Ex-Goldman Sachs executive, Ex-Treasury Secretary and World Bank leader,Tim Geithner and his family  have been joined together at the hip for decades. Tim Geithner’s father worked for the CIA in the Rockefeller funded Ford Foundation in Asia. Geitner’s father was in charge of micro-finance for the Ford Foundation for all of Asia and traveled throughout Asia. From Wayne Madsen’s work, we know that President Obama’s mother was in charge of micro-finance in Indonesia, The Hollywood producers could not make this plot up. Geithner’s father was Obama’s mother’s boss. It is likely that Geithner’s father tagged Obama as a potential presidential CIA Ford Foundation, well-groomed Manchurian candidate.

Additional information comes from the discovery that the two universities that Obama attended, Harvard and Columbia, were prime CIA recruiting grounds. The Ford and Rockefeller Foundations continued to fund Columbia’s Soviet studies programs through the early 1980s, where Obama was a student. And would anyone care to guess what Obama was studying?

Trilateral Commission co-founder, former National Security Adviser to Carter and Obama’s former professor and now political handler.

Obama was enrolled in a Soviet studies program taught by Zbigniew Brzezinski. And to those who are new to NWO conspiracies, one might wonder who is Brzezinski?  Brzezinski was the former National Security Adviser under President Carter. But more importantly, he was also the co-founder of one of the most influential globalist organizations in all of history, the Trilateral Commission. If you know your New World Order history, you have chills going up and down your spine as you read these words. We should be mindful that Brezezinski, in book, Between Two Ages: America’s Role in the Technetronic Era (1970) that he laid out the NWO conspiracy to control all nation states and usher in a totalitarian world government. .

Historians now know that Brzezenski has President Jimmy Carter’s handler and almost single handedly wrecked Carter’s legacy. Brzezenski is also rumored to be running Obama. This is the President’s handler. And what lessons did Brzesenski impart to young Barack. The two following quotes from Brzesinski makes it clear that he was preparing Obama to rule over a national police state surveillance grid in America.

“The technetronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values. Soon it will be possible to assert almost continuous surveillance over every citizen and maintain up-to-date complete files containing even the most personal information about the citizen. These files will be subject to instantaneous retrieval by the authorities.”

Clearly, the CIA and MKULTRA mind control programs have made what Brzezinski would today call his former understudy, Obama, a President with an undeniable “magnetic and attractive personality exploiting the latest communications techniques designed to manipulate emotions and control reason.”

From School to Work, Obama’s Manchurian Candidacy Continued

Comrade Obama’s ascension to the presidency has been a long time in the making. Interestingly, Barack Obama’s past associates especially the communist terrorists which funded his Harvard legal education and ultimately launched his political career as an Illinois state senator, namely, Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, have been in lockstep with Obama his entire adult life. However, Dohrn and Ayers were not the first to indoctrinate Obama with the Marxist communist philosophy. For that information, we have to begin with Frank Marshall Davis.

Obama’s real father, Frank Marshall Davis, was a member of the Communist Party and a former Soviet Agent who was under FBI investigation for a total of 19 years. In 1948, Davis moved from Chicago to Hawaii leaving behind a colleague named Vernon Jarrett, father-in-law of Senior White House adviser, Valerie Jarrett. Yes, the Jarrett’s are communists as well. Both Jarrett and Davis wrote for a left wing newspaper called the Chicago Defender in which they espoused a communist  takeover of the United States Government. In 1971, Davis, according to Joel Gilbert, reunited with his then nine-year-old son, Barack Obama, and schooled him in the ways of being a good communist for the next nine years.

The Final Stages of Training the Manchurian Candidate

Adding more fuel to this communist fire, it is interesting to note that both Senior White House Advisors, David Axelrod and Valerie Jarrett were both “Red Diaper Babies, in which they were the sons and daughters of well-to-do parents who desired communism and lived out their dreams through their children’s revolutionary activities. Other notable red-diaper babies also include such notables as Rahm Emanuel and Eric Holder. Jarrett’s situation is particularly interesting in that her family and the Ayers family have been multi-generational friends which also included a marriage between the two families. Much of the Obama administration is a nest of well-established communists and this should serve to gravely concern every American citizen.

Following the nine years of mentoring and parenting by Frank Davis, Obama made some very important communist connections which ultimately led to him obtaining an impressive college education financed by some very familiar communist activists, namely, Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn. You remember Bill and Bernardine, don’t you?

The Prairie Fire book was co-authored by Dohrn and Ayers, and, quite unbelievably, it was dedicated to Sirhan Sirhan, Robert Kennedy’s assassin. A former FBI informant, while appearing on The Common Sense Show, Larry Grathwohl, revealed that he testified in a court of law that Ayers and Dohrn had direct involvement in a terrorist plot which killed San Francisco police sergeant, Brian V. McDonnell, by a bomb made and planted by these Weathermen Underground terrorists. How are Bernadine Dohrn and husband Bill Ayers not in prison? The only logical explanation is that Ayers and Dohrn are and were CIA assets whose mission it was consisted of guiding the young communist, Barak Obama, and his legal education and later, launching his political career. If Dohrn was not a CIA asset, then how can anyone explain how she teaches at a prominent university with her felony background, conviction and the time she briefly served in prison?

 Grathwohl also revealed that he asked Ayers, in a meeting of about 25 well-to do Weatherman, most with advanced degrees from Ivy League Universities, what the Weathermen planned to do when they achieved their goal of a communist take over the government.  Grathwohl stated that Ayers paused for a moment and then said that it was likely that about 50 million Americans will have to be re-educated in concentration camps located in the American Southwest and that about 25 million would have to be eliminated, meaning that they would have to be murdered.  Bill and Bernardine’s Weather Underground had the support of Cuba, East German intelligence and the North Vietnamese. I believe that Obama could end up being the fulfillment of the Ayers “re-education prediction, and with the power granted to Obama by the NDAA, that he will fulfill Ayers’ promise to Grathwohl to murder 25 million Americans who cannot be “re-educated”.

During the Vietnam war era, Ayers championed black civil rights and he and Dohrn further chastised white society for their treatment of blacks. Grathwohl also revealed that Ayers wanted to support the beginning of a race war by killing whites, from supposed black villains, and then blaming whites in order to begin a race war. How eerily similar does this sound to the Charles Manson Family and their Helter Skelter plans to execute that very same objective? While Grathwohl was infiltrating the Weathermen, Ayers ordered FBI infiltrator, Grathwohl, to blow up a Detroit police substation to which Grathwohl said that a nearby restaurant, where many blacks ate would suffer many casualties. Ayers replied that some have to die for a revolution to proceed.

Ayers and Dohrn raised a foster son, Chesa Boudin, who worked for the late Hugo Chavez , communist dictator in charge of Venezuela. Chesa Boudin was the child of Kathy Boudin and David Gilbert, members of a Weather Underground spin-off group who went to prison for an armored car robbery that resulted in the murders of two police officers and a security guard. Dohrn served seven months for her role in the robbery and this is the reason that she is ineligible to become bar certified as an attorney. Is anyone else uncomfortable with the fact that Ayers and Dohrn were the ones primarily responsible for educating Obama with the communist funds and then subsequently launched his political career from their living room? Well, it is true, please read on.

Allen Hulton, a 39 year veteran of the postal service, provided a sworn affidavit to Maricopa County, AZ. Sheriff investigators, led by Sheriff Joe Arpaio, in an effort toward determining whether or not former FOREIGN college student, Barack Obama, was eligible to be placed on Arizona’s 2012 election ballot. After reviewing Hulton’s affidavit, it is apparent that Ayers and Dohrn were in fact the de facto adoptive parents to this foreign student destined to become the first illegitimate President of the United States. As a result, Obama was treated to the finest Ivy League education that communist backed money could buy as Hulton maintains that the Ayers’ repeatedly told him that they were financing the education of a promising young black FOREIGN student at Harvard. Hulton also testified that he met Obama while at the Ayer’s home and he asked Obama what he was going to do with all his education, to which Obama politely answered:

“I am going to become the President”. Readers should take note that this is an affidavit, and as such, is formally considered to be evidence, not conjecture or hearsay. There can be no other conclusion that the communist terrorist, Bill Ayers, and his father, the former head of Con Edison, Tom Ayers, began grooming Obama to become America’s first communist President. Bill Ayers and President Obama’s relationship continues into the present time as it is on record that Ayers visited the White House in August of 2009.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

I think it is likely that the Weatherman Underground was a CIA created false flag operation simply designed to assist the communist inspired group with the ability to undermine the country and the Obama represents the Weatherman’s finest achievement. The Weathermen were nothing more than mere Soviet collaborators that Soviet defectors had previously warned about.

We also know that Obama’s communist affiliations continued well into his adulthood because of the good work of Joel Gilbert  who discovered that Obama was active with a Weathermen Underground support group known as The May 19th Communist Organization, in New York. Perhaps, this is why Ayers was visiting the White House in 2009.

The Communists Openly Declare Victory Upon Obama’s Election

Frank Chapman, a communist activist and a member of the communist front group known as the World Peace Council. Chapman clearly used the term “mole” to describe Obama. He said Obama’s political climb and subsequent success in the 2008 Democratic presidential primaries was “a dialectical leap ushering in a qualitatively new era of struggle.” Chapman further stated that, “Marx once compared revolutionary struggle with the work of the mole, who sometimes burrows so far beneath the ground that he leaves no trace of his movement on the surface. This is the old revolutionary ‘mole,’ not only showing his traces on the surface but also breaking through. The Communist Party USA backs Obama to the hilt.” It is clear that Obama is their man!

Conclusion

Because of the psychological principal, cognitive dissonance, no amount of direct or circumstantial proof would convince some people. The term cognitive dissonance refers to a person who received information so shocking, so upsetting, that they cannot adequately process that information and then instead deny the validity of the proof that anyone else could see. If you are one of the cognitive dissonance types, please allow me to ask you a few questions.

Obama and former NBA player, Clark Kellogg, play a game of pig, aired on a tape-delayed segment, in an obviously staged victory for the President. When was the last time you played basketball while wearing business clothes?

Who was Obama’s basketball coach in high school? The President has some degree of basketball skills as he defeated former NBA player and sports broadcaster, Clark Kellogg, in a game of pig (how appropriate) in front of a national TV audience. Who was Obama’s history teacher in high school? Why don’t we see interviews with his former professors, teachers, coaches, childhood friends? His first girl friend? Who in the hell is he? There are no visible answers to these questions are there? But still the cognitive dissonance crowd still persists with their abject denials. To them, I say let’s judge a man by his actions, not his words. Has Obama’s actions served to help or hurt America? Do his Presidential actions match up with his communist background? The answer to these questions will be the topic of part two of this series.

Majority of private prison contracts demand taxpayer-backed lockup quotas - report

The majority of contracts between local US governments and for-profit prisons require “lockup quotas” and “low crime taxes,” according to a new report.
The report, which was released by In the Public Interest, states that 62 percent of private prison contracts studied by the group require states to keep 80 to 100 percent of prison beds occupied. It also revealed that taxpayers compensate the private companies if the number of prisoners falls below the quota – a policy which guarantees profit within the mass incarceration industry.
For instance, when Colorado did not meet its lockup quotas due to dropping crime rates, the state had to pay $2mn based on its contract with the Corrections Corporation of America (CCA) - one of America’s largest private prison companies.

A 90 percent lockup quota at the Lake Erie Correctional Institution in Ohio led to “cutting corners on safety, including overcrowding, areas without secure doors, and an increase in crime both inside the prison and the surrounding community.” The facility is run by CCA.

The report found that Arizona, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Virginia have the highest lockup quotas in the nation, requiring 95 to 100 percent occupancy.

The private prison industry claims that their services offer states opportunities to save money. However, the report says that “numerous studies and audits have shown these claims of cost savings to be illusory, and bed occupancy requirements are one way that private prison companies lock in inflated costs after the contract is signed.”

“These provisions guarantee prison companies a consistent and regular revenue stream, insulating them from ordinary business risks,” the report states.

But in the early ‘70s Watergate was the biggest freaking deal, and it occupied television broadcasts seemingly forever. Watergate even reached my high school in Santa Monica, CA, when journalists from Europe and Japan come to interview high school students who objected to having a portrait of disgraced Nixon staffer John Ehrlichman hanging in the school’s “Hall of Fame.”
The Watergate saga made the careers of Washington Post junior staffers Bob Woodard and Carl Bernstein, who were played in the All the President’s Men film by Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman.  Suddenly journalism became a huge sensation, but the fad quickly bottomed out once it was discovered that journalists made very little money, did not resemble Robert Redford, that newspapers had no interest in backing difficult stories that brought down bad guys and that it was all about glossy stories that increased ad revenue.
When Phil Stanford, a friend of mine from Portland, brought me White House Call Girl, I was puzzled by the book’s premise—that a call girl ring, in league with mobsters and intelligence operatives, was a blackmail operation and the little-known back story to the Watergate scandal.
“Do you mean,” I asked, “that the famous story made into books and films are wrong?”
“That’s only half the story,” Phil replied. “And it’s partly invented, too.”
“Really? Why?”
“Why don’t you read the book?”
So I read it and was bowled over. Though it’s a fully sourced political non-fiction, it reads like a detective novel, full of whores, mobsters, political operatives, and even football team players. And it’s got plenty of evidence, including photos of an address book owned by the main call girl in question, chock full of very interesting phone numbers and addresses.
Stanford’s book verifies and adds to the controversial Watergate revisionism tomes Secret Agenda by Jim Hougan (who also contributed a piece about Jonestown to Feral House’s Secret and Suppressed II), and Silent Coup by Len Colodny and Robert Gettlin.
I read the book cautiously, and a major attorney vetted it.  The book seemed about as legally foolproof as they come. So when Feral House received a five-page legal threat by none other than the huge Watergate figure John Dean, we were amazed. He didn’t even read the book, but he didn’t want it read by anyone else. And he also imagined that this one minute Feral House book trailer done him wrong.
I remember seeing Dean and his wife Maureen from many Watergate TV broadcasts. They were on television so much that the  Deans almost felt like family to me, like the Brady Bunch, or perhaps more accurately, The Munsters.  These past few weeks I learned that Dean has made it difficult for many to publish any sort of  “revisionist” Watergate history. For example, Dean sued authors Colodny and Gettlin, and their publisher St. Martin’s, for their book Silent Coup. His letter, attached here, boasts of costing publisher St. Martin’s $15,000,000. I’m guessing that this is what Dean means when he claims he achieved victory from this settled lawsuit. But was it a real victory? Silent Coup is still in print, and not one word of the book was touched, and the authors received over $400,000 in payments in the settlement.
We read the letter twice. Three times. And more. But it was difficult for us to figure out exactly what this 74-year-old disgraced felon wants, outside of intimidating the shit out of us.
Fortunately, we were able to hire a very well-known D.C. attorney (John B. Williams of Cozen O’Conner) who has already successfully battled John Dean in other legal matters, to reply. I feel that his amusing and knowledgeable letter hits the ball out of the park. Thank you, Mr. Williams for your strike for free speech.

THE SIZE OF SHADOW BANKING SYSTEM: ECONOPHYSICISTS

Yesterday I blogged about the recent RT article exposing the NSA’s electronic eavesdropping via SWIFT (the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Transfer), the international clearing entity in Brussels. There I suggested that the implications of the revelations were threefold:

1. They tended to corroborate my evaluation, first outlined  in Covert Wars and Breakaway Civilizations, with respect to the old Inslaw-PROMIS software scandal of the 1980s, that such an eavesdropping/electronic surveillance capability constituted the ultimate insider trading mechanism;
2. that as the revelations increase, confidence and trust in the systems of internet security, transaction protection, and so on, collapse, and this would lead to an establishment of competitive clearing by the BRICSA entente, and
3. that the growing crisis of confidence spells disaster if confidence cannot be restored in those institutions, for the simple reason that accurate data input is needed in order to make the ultimate insider trading mechanism work. Faulty or incomplete data will only result in inaccurate computer analysis and scenario gaming.

Now, all this is taking place against a wider backdrop of a very obvious though not very well-appreciated detail about the overt government, and the covert one(which, following Mr. Richard Dolan’s insightful suggestion, we have been calling the breakaway civilization). That detail is one that former Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Catherine Austin outlined in a ten-hour long conversation with Dr de Hart and I during her visit last summer: the overt govenment assumes all the risks and liabilities for the covert one, which has no risk, and, via the hidden system of finance which I have coupled to the Bearer Bonds Scandals, has a virtually bottomless pit of money from which to draw…
…provided that the whole system can maintain confidence and accurate information.
But now there is yet another sign that the two intertwined systems are facing more trouble, and that is the fact that this hidden system is now making the attention of “econophysicists” – that group of physicists that I talked about in Bablyon’s Banksters, and again in a simultaneously more direct and more roundabout way in Financial Vipers of Venice - who have taken the models of quantum mechanics and used them to model financial markets and human behavior. The detailed implications of that connection we cannot get into here, folks, but Iwill suggest one very important clue and connection: multiverse theory, and another: Feynmann’s path integral and sum over histories approach.
So what’s the clue? This:

The article   itself is intriguing, but it does indicate that while the shadow banking system is not the same thing as my “hidden system” the resources they both command exceeds the entire worlds GDP, in other words,  an enormous system of leverage has been created, the financial equivalent of a Class One civilization on  Kardashev scale.

Justice Dept: Al-Qaeda Runs A Chemical Weapons Program

Terrorist group runs a R&D lab while Washington is focused on Iran

While the Washington discourse is shifted towards Iran, the U.S. Department of Justice quietly admitted that al-Qaeda is currently running a full-blown chemical weapons program, complete with a research and development lab in Somalia.
During an investigation of three members of al-Shabab, an al-Qaeda subsidiary in Somalia, the DOJ found that “the defendants had substantial knowledge regarding an al-Shabaab research and development department that was developing chemical weapons for use by that terrorist organization.”
CBS This Morning attributed the quote to a case document released by the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York.
“Isn’t this our worst nightmare?” One of the CBS anchors asked. “Terrorists using chemical weapons.”
“It’s certainly in the top one or two: nukes or chemical weapons,” responded John Miller, their guest on the show and a former FBI assistant director.
“Al-Qaeda is more likely trying to develop their own homemade sarin or working with – and this is a real problem – readily available, commercial and industrial products that can be turned into dispersal devices that can be very deadly in terms of chemical weapons.”
This revelation is yet another addition to the already substantial evidence that al-Qaeda can easily launch chemical attacks in Syria.
As we reported last week, the U.S. military admitted that Al-Qaeda possessed and produced “kitchen-grade” sarin gas for chemical attacks against the Syrian people.
The National Ground Intelligence Center report stated that Al-Qaeda in Iraq produced the sarin gas and then shipped it to the Jabhat al-Nusra Front, the main opposition force in Syria.
Back in May, anti-terror forces in southern Turkey seized a cylinder of sarin gas from Syrian rebels with the al-Nusra Front.
An analysis on the seized gas found that it was a “kitchen variety,” which corresponds to the sarin gas used in the Aug. 21 chemical attack near Damascus, according to Dr. Yossef Bodansky, a top terrorism expert.
Unlike military grade sarin, the sarin used in the Damascus attack did not accumulate around the victims’ hair and clothing, according to Bodansky.
If it did, he said, the sarin molecules would have detached from the victims and “killed or injured the first responders who touched the victims’ bodies without protective clothes … and masks.”
Yet even though none of the first responders to the Aug. 21 attack wore adequate protective gear, there were no reported casualties among them.
High-level U.S. intelligence officials reinforce Bodansky’s conclusion, stating that they are unconvinced that the Aug. 21 chemical attack was carried out on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s orders or that it was even carried out by Assad’s government.
They are not even sure that Assad knew about the attack beforehand.
But it is now known that al-Qaeda can develop sarin gas in-house for chemical attacks around the world, especially for false flags.

US must 'go back at' gun-control laws - Obama

The two mass shootings in Washington and Chicago this week havetriggered a new wave of gun-control talks and made US President Barack Obama put the spotlight back onto the problem of gun violence in the United States.

Passing laws restricting sales of certain types of guns and requiring greater background checks became Obama’s top priority after a gunman killed 20 children and six adults at an elementary school in Newtown, Connecticut, in December 2012. However, Congress rejected his proposals to introduce tougher gun laws as it could “infringe on Americans' constitutional rights”, according to gun-rights groups.

But a recent spate of shootings has brought the issue back into the spotlight.

"As long as there are those who fight to make it as easy as possible for dangerous people to get their hands on guns, then we've got to work as hard as possible for the sake of our children ... to do more work to make it harder," Obama said over an awards dinner for the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation adding that “we got to go back at it /gun-control laws/".

Last Monday, as a result of a shooting, perpetrated by a government contractor, 12 people were killed at the Washington Navy Yard before police killed the gunman in a gun battle.

On Thursday night in Chicago, suspected gang members opened fire late at a park, wounding 13 people including a 3-year-old child.

Nevertheless, despite the violence a new effort by the US administration is unlikely as at the moment it works on immigration reform and budget battles that threaten to shut down the government.

US Air Forces nearly detonate an atomic bomb over North Carolina in 1961 - report

A secret document, published in declassified form for the first time by the Guardian today, reveals that the US Air Force came dramatically close to detonating an atom bomb over North Carolina that would have been 260 times more powerful than the device that devastated Hiroshima.

The 1969 document, obtained by investigative journalist Eric Schlosser under the Freedom of Information Act, details the Jan. 23, 1961, B-52 crash near Goldsboro, North Carolina, that saw two Mark 39 hydrogen bombs break up in mid-air.

The report said that one of the two bombs behaved exactly as nuclear weapon is designed to function in wartime and that only a single low-voltage switch prevented detonation. Fallout could have been deposited over Washington, Baltimore, Philadelphia and New York City, according to the report.

Parker Jones, a senior engineer in the Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, N.M., wrote in the report that "one simple, dynamo-technology, low voltage switch stood between the United States and a major catastrophe".

Jones, analyzing a book by physicist Ralph Lapp on the crash, found that the bombs "did not possess adequate safety for the airborne alert role in the B-52" and concluded that the detonation "would have been bad news – in spades.

"Three of the eight crew members died in the crash. In July 2012, the state of North Carolina placed a historic marker in the town of Eureka with the words "nuclear mishap," according to the Raleigh News and Observer.

The Guardian reported that Schlosser obtained the document while conducting research for a new book on the nuclear arms race, "Command and Control."

"The US government has consistently tried to withhold information from the American people in order to prevent questions being asked about our nuclear weapons policy," Schlosser told the newspaper. "We were told there was no possibility of these weapons accidentally detonating, yet here's one that very nearly did."

Financial circles in Hong Kong are buzzing today on the new Goldman Sachs projection that gold may drop below $1,000 an ounce.
And in merely suggesting such a death sentence for the metal, Goldman’s pronouncement pushed the paper price of gold contracts down $20+.
Many technical indicators underscore Goldman’s views. There’s very little floor for gold prices below $1,200, signaling that gold could gap down quickly.
Conventional wisdom is also moving against precious metals. Newspaper headlines are telling us that emerging markets are toast (India, Indonesia, Brazil) while the developed economies (US, Europe, Japan) are on the mend.
Of course, the facts don’t really support this.

• Unemployment in much of southern Europe continues to soar, and Greece is imminently in need of yet another bailout.

• The Japanese government’s most recent budget numbers indicate payments on the national debt totaling 22.2 trillion yen, which constitutes 51.5% of the government’s 43 trillion yen tax revenue.

• In the Land of the Free, the US government is just a few weeks away from defaulting. Again.

Since May, in fact, the US Treasury Department has resorted to ‘extraordinary measures’ to keep the debt level firm at $16.7 trillion (the current debt ceiling) by using clever accounting tricks and confiscating funds from other sources.
As soon as the debt ceiling is raised, however, the national debt in the US will soar once again as these accounting tricks are unwound and reflected on the balance sheet.
For whatever reason, though, few people are paying attention to facts. It’s all about sentiment. And the sentiment right now is that the rich Western economies are back on top.
This is the central thesis underpinning Goldman’s assessment on gold: since the US economy is out of the woods, there’s no longer a need for gold as a risk hedge.
But as my friend told me last night over drinks, “Nobody knows what the f**k is going on…”
He’s a senior-level manager at a major international investment bank, and fully expects the banking system to go under again.
I thought about his candid remarks this morning when I read Goldman’s projection on gold.
But it does beg the question– is it time to get out of precious metals? After all, the momentum is moving in that direction.
Well, if you buy gold hoping to sell it at some point in the future and receive more fiat currency than you paid, then you might as well get out. Gold is not a great speculation right now.
Think about it like this– and take ‘gold’ out of the equation. If the market for widgets had risen 10, 11, 12 years in a row, and had shattered all records for long-term performance, would you still be betting on a rise?
Probably not. Just like housing (which everyone thought would go up forever), gold’s nominal paper price can fall. And it makes far more sense to speculate on something that’s in the dumps right now.
However, this mentality entirely misses the point of precious metals.
Why buy gold hoping to gain more paper currency down the road? Owning gold is all about trading away your paper currency into something that cannot be conjured out of thin air by central banks.
When stored properly (holding physical gold overseas and/or anonymously), there is very little counterparty risk.
The “price” in paper currency may rise. Or it may fall. But this is largely irrelevant.
When the hopes and dreams of the entire global financial system rest on the lies of politicians, the whims of central bankers, and the mountains of debt they have all accumulated, things could turn on a dime… tomorrow.
Gold is an insurance policy. It’s a form of money that you might never need to use. But should that need ever arise, you’ll be so much better off for owning it.

Caroline Kennedy sells out Camelot

Caroline Kennedy shamelessly shills her family as she trots off to another non-job.

As the 50th anniversary of the JFK assassination approaches, so does the merchandising onslaught — books, movies, commemorative magazines.
But there is one aspect of this commercialism that remains surprising: The most shameless huckster of Kennedy mythology and memorabilia is Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg.
Her public image is that of the classy, quiet keeper of the Kennedy legacy, the civic-minded former lawyer who publishes books on poetry while her cousins crash into trees and kick nurses. With the bar for Kennedy comportment set so low, it’s almost impossible for Caroline not to look good.
Look closer, though, and it’s clear that Caroline’s image is as fake and manufactured as her father’s: She is a profit-minded serial holder of non-jobs, culminating in her appointment to one of our ultimate non-jobs, ambassador to Japan.
During her confirmation hearing last week, her accomplishments, such as they are, were listed by Sen. Chuck Schumer: lawyer (she’s never practiced law), author (more on that in a moment) and philanthropist. He noted, with disproportionate awe, Caroline’s recent completion of a three-mile swim in the Hudson River. “I’m not sure either of us could have accomplished this feat,” he said to Sen. Bob Menendez. Well then — confirm her!
Caroline’s disastrous flirtation with taking Hillary Clinton’s vacated Senate seat — a damning interview revealed her capable of little more than like’s and you know’s, her entitlement off-putting — has long been forgotten.
Yet Caroline’s true accomplishments have gone criminally unnoticed: Her ability to seem above the fray while continuing to burnish a false legacy, all while indulging in a “Real Housewives”-style hustling of ancillary products.
In 1996, two years after Jackie Kennedy Onassis died of cancer, Caroline and her brother, John Jr., put the bulk of their mother’s estate up for auction. Mixed in with the oil paintings and jewels was JFK’s hat box (worth $100, sold for $31,625), a foot stool (worth $150, sold for $33,350) and one of Jackie’s lamps (worth $900, sold for $48,875). Even the doors from Jackie’s White House dressing room were ripped off their hinges and put on the block.
Lest this all seem too greedy, Caroline said that some of the proceeds would go to charity.

More shocking than the auction’s $34.5 million haul was the selling itself: here were the intimate possessions of the most famous and private New Yorker since Garbo, set out for the equivalent of a yard sale for lockjaws. Even the interior of Jackie’s Fifth Avenue apartment was photographed for the Sotheby’s catalogue (which, by the way, is still for sale at Amazon, used for $34.99).
As for those much-vaunted donations to charity, neither she nor John ever disclosed how much, if any, of that revenue went there.
“My mother kept every single thing she ever got in her life,” said John Jr. “Either we were going to open up a museum or we were going to have more normal lives.”
But Caroline set about tracking down all the memorabilia she could. In his book “American Legacy: The Story of John and Caroline Kennedy,” C. David Heymann quotes Robert L. White, a businessman who owned the largest Kennedy collection of all. Caroline, he said, wanted what he had.
“The Kennedys made my life miserable,” White said. “I tried to appease them by offering the JFK Library and Museum a number of these items. But that didn’t satisfy them. They wanted everything. Ted Kennedy led the charge, but there’s no question that Caroline Schlossberg was behind it all. Evidently $34.5 million wasn’t enough for her. It’s like the more money she had, the more she wanted.”
Jackie herself, ever shrewd with money and negotiations, left her children $250,000 each in her will to avoid punitive estate taxes; she reportedly told them, on her deathbed, to sell whatever they didn’t want to keep.
When it came to auctioning, as ever, there were two sets of standards: one for the Kennedys, another for everyone else. In 1998, after two civilians put their extensive JFK memorabilia up for auction (the items came from two former JFK aides), Caroline and JFK Jr. hired an army of lawyers to try and stop it, and when they failed, questioned the authenticity of the items, then slammed the whole thing as gross exploitation. The pieces for sale, they said, were “intensely personal.” One bidder spent $3,000 on a pair of JFK’s long johns.
Heymann also wrote that when Caroline’s distant relation, Yusha Auchincloss, was preparing for his own auction of items from Hammersmith Farm — where Jackie spent much of her childhood and where she and JFK held their wedding reception — Caroline demanded that he not use the Kennedy name. He agreed.
In 2005, once again proclaiming herself overwhelmed by her parents’ possessions, Caroline staged another auction at Sotheby’s. Here were things most people wouldn’t give to the Goodwill: old magazines, dingy wicker baskets, a doorstop, chipped jars, a pair of tarnished candlesticks. A sugar bowl sold for $7,200. The press dubbed it “Came-schlock.”
Some Kennedys were upset that they were downgraded to mere bidders.
Eunice Kennedy, a source told The Post, “was ticked off that she had to be there bidding on items that belonged to her parents and grandparents.”
Meanwhile, Caroline was forging a career as an author. She co-wrote two books on the law and said she insisted her co-author’s name come first — not, she said, to reflect the division of labor, but because she was more famous, and how unfair for her civilian friend. It was noblesse oblige presented as humility. Caroline promoted the books only on the condition that no interviewer ask about her family.
In 2001, Caroline decided to go it alone. For her next books, she cobbled together lots of other people’s work — poems her mother loved, poems she loved, poems to memorize, poems that helped her on her “woman’s journey” — and packaged them as distinct parts of her Kennedy upbringing.
She also edited a couple of on-brand anthologies, publishing “Profiles in Courage for Our Time” — a callback to the book her father didn’t write and won a Pulitzer for — in 2002. It contained 13 essays by other writers, with Caroline’s name on the cover. That was followed, the same year, by “A Patriot’s Handbook: Songs, Poems, Stories, and Speeches Celebrating the Land We Love.” It included full reproductions of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. In 2009, it was reported that her five Kennedy-themed books earned her $4 million in royalties.
In 2011, Caroline sold the recorded interviews that her mother gave to Arthur Schlesinger in the wake of JFK’s assassination — tapes that Jackie had sealed and stored at the John F. Kennedy Library in Boston. Jackie ordered the tapes kept secret until 50 years after her death, and the implication was these recordings were part of American history — that they belonged to all of us and would be released for free.
But Caroline took those tapes and sold them to her publisher, Hyperion, only 17 years after her mother’s death. The transcripts were packaged with CDs, and Caroline also sold the rights to ABC for a TV special.
“I think people really need to understand the purpose of an oral history,” Caroline told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, explaining her magnanimity. “And it really — the value of it is immediate, it is honest.” The value was also $60 retail.
Then, last August, a friend of Caroline’s told The Post that she couldn’t believe QVC was selling reproductions of Jackie’s jewelry. “Trust me,” the source said. “Jackie wouldn’t have been caught dead wearing this stuff.”
Never mind that QVC was able to make copies because Caroline auctioned off Jackie’s jewelry, or that you could buy this stuff at the Kennedy Center’s gift shop, or one of Jackie’s favorite pieces was a fake three-strand pearl necklace — clearly, peons should not have such easy access to her replicas of her mother’s fakes. Caroline is like the Gwyneth Paltrow of legacy politics, selling off curated pieces of her image and life, crying foul whenever she can’t control the narrative or turn a profit herself.
As the 50th anniversary of her father’s assassination approaches, Caroline is keeping things low-key. This year, she’s selling off two parcels of undeveloped land on her late mother’s Martha’s Vineyard estate.
“Simply magnificent is the only way to describe this pristine waterfront parcel,” reads the listing. Caroline, who is currently worth an estimated $271 million, expects to get $45 million for it.
She’s also publishing a new book, “Rose Kennedy’s Family Album: From the Fitzgerald Kennedy Private Collection, 1878-1946.” It’s available for pre-order at Amazon now.

New book questions Matthew Shepard killing

Matthew Shepard wasn’t killed because he was gay, a new book says — but that won’t stop advocates from politicizing his murder.

Fifteen years ago this Oct. 6, Wyoming college student Matthew Shepard was savagely pistol-whipped by two homophobes for being gay, then pitilessly strung up on a log fence to die. It was a modern crucifixion, the signature hate crime of our era, the inspiration for books and movies and plays and songs and documentaries.
Except Shepard wasn’t murdered because he was gay, contends a new book. He was slain in a methamphetamine frenzy primarily by one man (with an accomplice who perhaps didn’t participate in the actual beating) who initially said that Shepard promised drugs in exchange for sex.
So, not only was Shepard’s primary killer not a homophobe who decided to lure Matt into a fatal trap because he was gay, he was himself likely gay or bisexual, contends gay journalist Stephen Jimenez in “The Book of Matt: Hidden Truths About the Murder of Matthew Shepard.”
The notion that Shepard was murdered for being gay originally came from two friends of his who had no firsthand knowledge of the case but started the homophobia narrative when Shepard was still alive (he didn’t die until five days after the attack) by calling a gay reporter, several gay organizations and the police.
By the time Shepard died, the motive of homophobia was solidly entrenched in the media. Then the leader in the killing, Aaron McKinney, and his girlfriend both cited his gay panic as a motive, apparently in the belief that it would be seen as a mitigating factor.
Now both of them say that story was a lie. And McKinney told a detective the night of the crime that Shepard “said he could turn us on to some cocaine or something, some methamphetamines, one of those two, for sex,” according to the book. From prison, McKinney now says his “original plan” that night was to rob a meth dealer, but when that didn’t work out he decided to rob Shepard instead. Prosecutor Cal Rerucha told the author that the murder was “driven by drugs.”
McKinney’s own father, when asked whether his son had had sex with other men, said “we’ve all experimented one way or another.” A limo driver told Jimenez he saw McKinney and two other men in the back of his vehicle “buck naked” and “playing around.” A manager of a gay bar in Denver told Jimenez he recognized both McKinney and accomplice Russell Henderson as patrons of his place.
A boyfriend of Shepard’s, Ted Henson, who said he went to a gay bar with McKinney and Shepard, said the latter once told him that “Aaron had offered [him] sex for money” and that “McKinney would sell [himself] to other guys.”
McKinney’s friend Elaine Baker said, “The whole thing was a lie and a coverup. Aaron didn’t hate [Shepard] for being gay. They were friends, for God’s sake . . . Aaron was bisexual.” McKinney’s friend Ryan Bopp said that McKinney and Shepard “knew each other. I had seen them at parties . . . I knew Aaron was selling [drugs] . . . him and Matt would go off to the side and they’d come back.”
McKinney, while denying being gay or bisexual, did, in an interview with the author, admit “messing around” with other boys as a youngster, which he dismissed as “the usual kids’ stuff.” He and Bopp said he’d been up for a week on a drug bender the night of Shepard’s murder.
Though the book is largely persuasive, there are oddities in Jimenez’s reporting, which sprang from his work on a 2004 piece for “20/20.” He says a Wyoming law-enforcement official declared flat-out that the murders had nothing to do with Shepard’s sexuality — but declined to go on the record because he said he feared someone might put a hit on members of his family. Jimenez says a police car tailed him while he was reporting the story. He tells dramatic tales of Deep Throat types leaving him anonymous letters or claiming that they risk getting a bullet in the back for talking.
In essence “The Book of Matt” is not about the killers’ culpability but about sloppiness on the part of the media and allied organizations who used the Shepard case in fundraising pitches. (This very article will be used in a similar fashion by groups that win donations by stoking fear and hatred of “right-wing media.”)
But if Jimenez’s somewhat problematic book is correct, it doesn’t make Shepard’s brutal murder any less horrific. It does make it less political, however. Political action groups won’t like that.
The gay magazine The Advocate said in a review that Jimenez “amassed enough anecdotal evidence to build a persuasive case that Shepard’s sexuality was, if not incidental, certainly less central than popular consensus has lead us to believe.”
The magazine went on, “There are valuable reasons for telling certain stories in a certain way at pivotal times, but that doesn’t mean we have to hold on to them once they’ve outlived their usefulness.”
