The following article by Dr. Jack Rasmus (Telesur) summarizes the money behind the major candidates–including Rubio, Cruz, Trump, Bush and Clinton and the estimated $10 billion that will be spent on this year’s US national election.
Poll after public opinion poll in the US today consistently show that US voters overwhelmingly share the opinion that big money billionaires and their corporations were increasingly dominating US elections.
As the United States election cycle began to ramp up last summer, for example, the New York Times/NBC News poll showed no less than 84 percent of U.S. voters – Democrats, Republicans, and Independents alike – shared the common view that there was simply “too much money” flooding into U.S. elections today. While 85 percent of those in the poll further indicated that either major changes or a “complete rebuild” of the U.S. election system was needed to take money out of politics.
Forget minor tweaking reforms of campaign financing. The people of the U.S. now believe the entire process is rigged in favor of rich contributors and corporations who fill to over-flowing the campaign coffers of their chosen politicians.
War for the White House 2016
A related major concern expressed by those polled was that those billionaires writing the checks for candidates were “hiding behind the curtain” as never before. The electoral system itself was becoming increasingly opaque. Seventy-five percent of those polled thus demanded full disclosure of just who was providing all the money.
The current election cycle is just now getting underway with the primary season and nominating of candidates, so total spending won’t be known for at least mid-2017 at the earliest. But there are signs appearing in numerous places that this election year will break all records for money flowing from the billionaires, their banks, and their corporations to their “hat in hand” candidates, as they regularly stumble over themselves and trek one after the other attending private meetings with the Koch Brothers, the Sheldon Adelsons, the Paul Singers, Goldman Sachs and other bankers – and all the rest of the billionaire class who write checks for tens of millions of dollars at a single sitting – to fund whichever candidate bends his knee and bows his head the most in committing to their favorite economic interest or pet political cause. And bend and bow they do.
Marco Rubio
For example, there’s the Republican presidential candidate, Marco Rubio, who led the attack on Argentina in the U.S. Congress to pressure that country’s Kirchner government to concede to the blackmail by U.S. vulture funds led by multi-billionaire, hedge fund magnate, Paul Singer. A financial supporter of the expansion of Israeli settlements in the west bank of Palestine, Singer is an ardent advocate that “Israel can do no wrong.” As Singer’s boy in the U.S. Senate, Rubio consistently takes a hard line on every Israel debate and vote, effectively representing Singer’s views and interests. Not surprisingly, for that Rubio has been repaid well. Singer is Rubio’s second biggest campaign contributor, second only to Florida real estate billionaire, Norman Braman. Multi-billionaires, both have already contributed more than US$11 million in 2015 to Rubio’s campaign. Software billionaire, Larry Ellison, the world’s fifth richest person, worth $47 billion, has also already contributed millions to Rubio. All three no doubt appreciate Rubio’s pledge to eliminate all taxes on capital gains and dividends, which would mean $1 trillion tax free to them and their billionaire friends. Rubio’s election campaign committee and his “Conservative Solutions” super PAC have accumulated more than $60 million in 2015. Bush money is reportedly moving to Rubio recently as well.
Ted Cruz
Then there’s candidate Cruz. His billionaires include ultra-right wing, hedge fund owner Robert Mercer, who contributes to restoration of the death penalty, advocates return to the gold standard, funds pro-life and anti-gay causes, and collects machine-guns for a hobby; Toby Neugebauer, the billionaire Houston investment banker; and Farris and Staci Wilks, extreme bible-thumpers, who view the U.S. from a prism of the biblical old testament, and whose family has made their billions by fracking and poisoning land in the U.S. from Texas to Montana. All have all written checks to the Cruz campaign for more than $10 million each thus far, and contribute heavily to Cruz’s super PAC, “Keeping the Promise,” and his campaign committee, together worth at latest estimate more than $100 million. Cruz repeatedly pilgrimages to their respective billionaire compounds and retreats, that is, when he’s not getting loans from the big Investment bank, Goldman Sachs, where his wife worked as a managing director, and from which Cruz has been given low interest loans.
Jeb Bush
Jeb Bush got most of his money from his personal and family investment sources, from his super PAC, “Right to Rise,” to which wealthy friends have already contributed $118 million in “outside money,” from his election committee with a pot of more than $40 million more so far, from his 50+ per year public speeches for which he is paid an average of $40,000 each, and unknown amounts from his multi-billionaire Bush dynasty family. Another big billionaire contributor, writing a $10 million check recently, was the notorious Hank Greenberg, former Chairman of the American Insurance Group that the government and U.S. taxpayer bailed out to the tune of $180 billion in the 2008 crisis.
Hillary Clinton
Hillary Clinton’s money comes from all the above sources and then some. For example, there’s hedge fund billionaire, George Soros, who contributed $8.5 million just last year. And the media billionaires, Haim and Cheryl Saban, who have directly already contributed millions; and reportedly may have contributed an estimated $10-$25 million more indirectly from their own personal foundation to the Clinton’s foundation: a favorite way the rich contribute to each other. Both Hillary and Bill have also had multi-million dollar royalty book contracts, Hillary’s latest worth $5 million. She is also the biggest recipient of contributions from professional Lobbyists among all the candidates. Her campaign committee has amassed $115 million as of January 2016 and her super PAC, “Priorities USA,” more than $40 million.
The Clintons, however, have especially farmed the speech circuit for big money ever since Bill left office. That’s how former presidents and other big-name, high visibility politicians who have performed well for the rich are “paid off” in the U.S. when they leave office. Corruption is “post-hoc” in the U.S. system, a more sophisticated arrangement than crude graft or theft while in office practiced in other countries. Bill Clinton has earned more than $100 million in speeches alone since 2001. Hillary and Bill have earned another $25 million just since her announcement to run. And then there are Hillary’s “closed door talks,” off-the record, unrecorded, Q&A sessions of an hour or so, which Hillary has held with scores of financial institutions, banks, and big companies since announcing her candidacy.
Her speeches and talks average $225,000 to $275,000, according to her “schedule A” campaign finance statement that is public record. When challenged by Sanders why she has been accepting fees of $275,000 from scores of bankers and big corporations, including a recent 3 speech $675,000 fee from Goldman Sachs, her reply was “I don’t know, that’s just what they offered”. Yeah, out of the pure generosity of their banker hearts, expecting nothing in return no doubt.
The Clintons have given more than 50 speeches each in 2014 alone, according to public records. Adding it up, it’s more than $25 million in speeches and “talks” in 2014 alone. Their 2014 income was $28 million and net worth $110 million. At least $28 million, and likely far more will eventually be reported for 2015 later this summer. Even more for 2016.
Trump and Sanders
Trump claims his net worth is more than $10 billion, and receives $3 million per show just as host of the TV show, “Celebrity Apprentice,” providing ample cash for his campaign, that is, so far. His long list of investments generate millions more in cash every year.
Sanders relies on small donors, has no super PAC or outside money, while his campaign committee reportedly has accumulated $95 million. He owns no business and his net worth is reportedly $330,000.
Estimating the Totals
A proxy of just how much money is involved this year is perhaps estimated by how much in total was spent on the 2014 midterm Congressional elections, where no presidential candidate was running. No less than $3.77 billion was spent that year. And that was what was only official reported to the Federal Election Commission for donors contributing more than $200 – excluding as well all spending on state and local government races and excluding what is called “dark” money from nonprofit organizations – called 501( c) (4) shell groups-like Karl Rove’s notorious “Crossroads GPS,” which has reportedly raised $330 million in recent years. Spending by 501s is directed at attacking a candidate’s opponents instead of contributing to the favorite candidate via PACs, super PACs, campaign committees, party committees, and the like. But it is campaign spending on behalf of candidates, nonetheless. Super-PACs and 501s are projected to spend more than a $US billion each in the current year.
Totals for 2015 from all the above sources – i.e. corporate and special interest PACs, super PACs, leadership PACs, the 30,000 Washington, D.C. lobbyists, the 501s and their “Limited Liability Company” middlemen who raise money from the super-wealthy but can legally keep their names unreported, from House and Senate and political party fund raising committees, and so on – were likely more than $5 billion, at minimum. But public records for 2015 totals won’t be released by the government until June 30, 2016
For the entire 2015-2016 election, the cumulative totals will no doubt range from $10 to $15 billion. But the actual totals will have to wait even longer, until June 30, 2017. But even then will reflect only what is officially reported, as more “dark money” flows into elections in increasingly opaque system that grows progressively “darker” as the mountains of election money provided by billionaires, corporations, and bankers grow ever higher.

Jade Helm 2? UWEX 16 covert military operation in Texas looking for civilian actors

The U.S. Army Special Operations Command is looking for role players, most with past military, government or law enforcement experience, to take part in unconventional warfare training that will happen partly

  A special warfare exercise across parts of Texas and the nation will bring civilian role players acting as journalists, government officials and "guerrilla-chiefs."

The U.S. Army Special Operations Command's Unconventional Warfare Exercise 16 (UWEX 16) is scheduled in at least three Texas counties for March through June 2016. It may take many readers back to Jade Helm 15, the SOC's seven-state realistic military training that riled some Texans' fears of federal preparations for martial law.

But the involvement of civilian role players sets UWEX 16 apart. Job listings posted to Oak Grove Technologies in November call for more than 30 actors to help simulate scenarios for SOC trainings between March and June, including at least 25 who would perform in San Antonio in March and April after preparations at the SOC headquarters in Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

SOC spokesman Mark Lastoria was not immediately available Thursday morning to describe the contributions of the civilian actors.

Job listings call for 18 hostage actors, six guerrillas, a journalist, two "resistance force," an ambassador, a financier, an NGO worker and officials from the Department of Justice and the Department of State, among others. In addition to San Antonio, some will perform concurrently in Arizona and Oregon.

The "guerrilla-chief" role requires previous special forces experience, or "quantifiable previous experience as a Guerrilla-Chief." Others require past work as a government analyst, foreign service member or law enforcement officer. All roles require signatures on a non-disclosure agreement. 

In West Texas, commissioners of Tom Green County approved the military's request to hold realistic training in the county, according to footage of a late October meeting.

According to the Austin American-Statesman, commissioners in November approved the same request in Bastrop County, which became the center point of Jade Helm frenzy in June when international media gathered to watch volunteer Texans attempt their own counter surveillance operation against some of the U.S. military's most elite groups.

That came months after Texas governor Greg Abbott mobilized the state guard to monitor the federal troops throughout the exercise, citing citizens' safety concerns.

Many of the same blogs that sounded the first alarms of the truth behind Jade Helm were quick to assert that UWEX 16 was another step in a far-reaching conspiracy to imprison American people in their own communities.

SOC has said, and experts have agreed, that realistic military training off of federal property is neither abnormal nor cause for alarm.

In a Statesman report, Bastrop County Judge Paul Pape said he hoped UWEX 16's lack of a catchy name would prevent its spread on social media.

Physicists Examine The Structure Of Time: Reality Could Be An Illusion & 'Time' Might Not Exist

Time: it’s no doubt a confusing topic, and it gets even more confusing the more we try to unearth its secrets. Physicists have been examining the workings of time for decades, and the results published about it are mind-altering to contemplate, to say the least, and show that time might not exist as we think it does.

A new paper titled “Time crystals from minimum time uncertainty” that was recently revised and re-published in The European Physical Journal marks just one example of the astonishing research being conducted on this subject. In it, the researchers have proposed that the shortest physically meaningful length of time might really be multiple orders of magnitude longer than Planck time. Planck time refers to the time required for light to travel, in a vacuum, which would be a distance of 1 Planck length. The unit is named after Max Planck, who was the first to propose the theory.

Nur Faisal from the University of Waterloo, one of the researchers involved in the study, told phys.org that it might be possible for the minimum time scale in the universe to actually be much larger than Planck time. He also said that this can be “directly tested experimentally.”

No experiment has ever come close to examining Planck time directly because it is so short. Nevertheless, as phys.org points out, there is a good amount of theoretical support for the existence of Planck time. Faisal explains: “In our paper, we have proposed that time is discrete in nature, and we have also suggested ways to experimentally test this proposal.”

So, how do they figure that time might be much larger than Planck time? They measured the rate of spontaneous emission of a hydrogen atom:

The modified quantum mechanical equation predicts a slightly different rate of spontaneous emission than that predicted by the unmodified equation, within a range of uncertainty. The proposed effects may also be observable in the decay rates of particles and of unstable nuclei.

The researchers also mention that their findings could change the basic equations of quantum mechanics, and would modify the very definition of time that’s understood today.

The Illusion of Reality

According to the rules of quantum mechanics, our observations, and as some scientists like to call them, ‘factors associated with consciousness,’ influence the universe at the most fundamental levels. When physicists look at reality at the smallest scales, it becomes clear that an atom’s behaviour is dependant on the physicist’s observations.

“I regard consciousness as fundamental. I regard matter as derivative from consciousness. We cannot get behind consciousness. Everything that we talk about, everything that we regard as existing, postulates consciousness.” – Max Planck

As per this experiment, researchers noted that our perception of time as something that is continuously flowing is just an illusion. Faizal explains:

The physical universe is really like a movie/motion picture, in which a series of still images shown on a screen creates the illusion of moving images. Thus, if this view is taken seriously, then our conscious precipitation of physical reality based on continuous motion becomes an illusion produced by a discrete underlying mathematical structure. This proposal makes reality platonic in nature. However, unlike other theories of platonic idealism, our proposal can be experimentally tested and not just be argued for philosophically.

Faizal is referring to Plato’s idea that true reality exists independent of our senses. Perhaps the true makeup of what we perceive to be reality is beyond our ability to perceive?

More confusing research about ‘time’ below:

The Delayed Choice/Quantum Eraser Experiment

The delayed choice experiment illustrates how what happens in the present can change what happens(ed) in the past. It also shows how time can go backwards, how cause and effect can be reverted, and how the future caused the past.

To understand the delayed choice experiment, you have to understand the quantum double slit experiment, which is used to show how factors associated with consciousness create different behaviours in an atom, as mentioned earlier.

In this experiment, tiny bits of matter (photons, electrons, or any atomic-sized object) are shot towards a screen that has two slits in it. On the other side of the screen, a high tech video camera records where each photon lands. When scientists close one slit, the camera will show us an expected pattern, as seen in the video below. But when both slits are opened, an “interference pattern” emerges – they begin to act like waves. This doesn’t mean that atomic objects are observed as a wave (even though it recently has been observed as a wave), but rather that each photon individually goes through both slits at the same time and interferes with itself, but it also goes through one slit, and it goes through the other. Furthermore, it goes through neither of them. The single piece of matter becomes a “wave” of potentials, expressing itself in the form of multiple possibilities, and this is why we get the interference pattern.

How can a single piece of matter exist and express itself in multiple states, without any physical properties, until it is “measured” or “observed”? Furthermore, how does it choose which path, out of multiple possibilities, it will take?

Then, when an “observer” decides to measure and look at which slit the piece of matter goes through, the “wave” of potential paths collapses into one single path. The particle goes from becoming, again, a “wave” of potentials into one particle taking a single route. It’s as if the particle knows it’s being watched. The observer has some sort of effect on the behaviour of the particle.

Multiple experiments have found that factors associated with consciousness “significantly” correlated in predicted ways with perturbations in the double slit interference pattern. (source)

This quantum uncertainty is defined as the ability, “according to the quantum mechanic laws that govern subatomic affairs, of a particle like an electron to exist in a murky state of possibility — to be anywhere, everywhere or nowhere at all — until clicked into substantiality by a laboratory detector or an eyeball.” (New York Times)

According to physicist Andrew Truscott, lead researcher from a study published by the Australian National University, the experiment suggests that “reality does not exist unless we are looking at it.” It suggests that we are living in a holographic-type of universe. (source)

Now….

So, how is all of this information relevant to the concept of time? Just as the double slit experiment illustrates how factors associated with consciousness collapse the quantum wave function (a piece of matter existing in multiple potential states) into a single piece of matter with defined physical properties (no longer a wave, all those potential states collapsed into one), the delayed choice experiment illustrates how what happens in the present can change what happens(ed) in the past. It also shows how time can go backwards, how cause and effect can be reversed, and how the future caused the past.

Like the quantum double slit experiment, the delayed choice/quantum eraser has been demonstrated and repeated time and time again. For example, Physicists at The Australian National University (ANU) have conducted John Wheeler’s delayed-choice thought experiment; their findings were recently published in the journal Nature Physics. In 2007 (Science 315, 966, 2007), scientists in France shot photons into an apparatus and showed that their actions could retroactively change something which had already happened. Asher Peres, a pioneer in quantum information theory, elaborates:

If we attempt to attribute an objective meaning to the quantum state of a single system, curious paradoxes appear: quantum effects mimic not only instantaneous action-at-a-distance, but also, as seen here, influence of future actions on past events, even after these events have been irrevocably recorded. This idea was first brought to the forefront by John Wheeler in 1978, which is why I am going to end this article with his explanation of the delayed choice experiment. He believed that this experiment was best explained on a cosmic scale.

Cosmic Scale Explanation

He asks us to imagine a star emitting a photon billions of years ago, heading in the direction of planet Earth. In between, there is a galaxy. As a result of what’s known as “gravitational lensing,” the light will have to bend around the galaxy in order to reach Earth, so it has to take one of two paths: go left or go right. Billions of years later, if one decides to set up an apparatus to “catch” the photon, the resulting pattern would be (as explained above in the double slit experiment) an interference pattern. This demonstrates that the photon took one way, and it took the other way.

One could also choose to “peek” at the incoming photon, setting up a telescope on each side of the galaxy to determine which side the photon took to reach Earth. The very act of measuring or “watching” which way the photon comes in means it can only come in from one side. The pattern will no longer be an interference pattern representing multiple possibilities, but a single clump pattern showing “one” way.

What does this mean? It means how we choose to measure “now” affects what direction the photon took billions of years ago. Our choice in the present moment affected what had already happened in the past….

This makes absolutely no sense, which is a common problem when it comes to quantum physics. Regardless of our ability make sense of it, however, it is very real.

This experiment also suggests that quantum entanglement (which has also been verified; read more about that here) exists regardless of time — meaning two bits of matter can actually be entangled, again, in time.

Time, both as we measure it and understand it, doesn’t really exist.

There seems to be no shortage of connections between British Intelligence writers and the occult, and while I’ve examined a good deal of Ian Fleming, one of the more overtly Satanic writers we haven’t looked at is Dennis Wheatley.  Wheatley was the son of a winemaking family who caused some stir early in his college days for creating his own campus “secret society.”  Following his expulsion for this incident, Wheatley joined the military, fighting in World War I as a Royal Artillery Lieutenant, while focusing on military intelligence and covert operations  in World War II in the London Controlling Section.  After his war activities, Wheatley worked for British Intelligence and was introduced to Aleister Crowley, stating:

“The fact that I had read extensively about ancient religions gave me some useful background, but I required up-to-date information about occult circles in this country. My friend, Tom Driburg, who then lived in a mews flat just behind us in Queen’s Gate, proved most helpful. He introduced me to Aleister Crowley, the Reverend Montague Summers and Rollo Ahmed.”  (The Time Has Come: The Memoirs of Dennis Wheatley (Vol 3) 1919-1977: Drink and Ink, p. 131.)

However, there is more to the story concerning his relation to British Intelligence and MI5, as his personal site explains:

“Then in May 1940, following a chance conversation between his wife and her passenger while she was a driver for MI5, Wheatley was commissioned to write a series of papers on various strategic aspects of the War. These ‘War Papers’ were read by the King and the highest levels of the General Staff, and as a result in December 1941 he was re-commissioned, becoming the only civilian to be directly recruited onto the Joint Planning Staff. With the final rank of Wing Commander, for the rest of the War Wheatley worked in Churchill’s basement fortress as one of the country’s small handful of ‘Deception Planners’ who were charged with developing ways to deceive the enemy of the Allies real strategic intentions. Their top secret operations, which included the plans to deceive the enemy about the true site of the Normandy landings, were highly successful and saved countless lives.”

Wheatley’s wife also worked for MI5, yet these details do not easily emerge in research on the subject, though it is now known Wheatley was MI6, including writing anti-German and anti-Russian occult spy fiction.  To old dusty books one must go before the fuller picture emerges and we see the connections to Fleming and Maxwell Knight, and the decision to co-opt Aleister Crowley into MI5 work.  In Anthony Masters’ book The Man Who Was M: The Real-Life Spymaster Who Inspired Ian Fleming, we read:

“Dennis and Joan Wheatley were constant visitors to the flat, but Lois found she had little in common with Knight’s and Wheatley’s all-absorbing interest in the occult, and in particular, Aleister Crowley who was later to become an MI5 agent.  Wheatley had met Crowley through Tom Driberg, then a remarkable journalist (and later a Labour Party MP) whom Knight was to use as an agent inside the CPGB [Communist Party of Great Britain].  Crowley had come to dinner with the Wheatleys many times and provided Dennis with occult information for his books.  Wheatley’s first opinion had been that Crowley was interesting but harmless.  Driberg, however, warned him that Crowley had been responsible for running a community in Northern Sicily where a number of children had been rumored to have disappeared in connection with Satanic masses.  He also told Wheatley that there had been another alarming episode, this time in Paris, which was better documented.  In an attempt to raise the pagan god Pan, Crowley had spent a night in an empty hotel room on the Left Bank, in company with one of his followers, a man named MacAleister.  In the morning they were both found naked.  MacAleister was dead and Crowley was crouched howling in a corner, from where he was taken to an asylum.  Four months later he was released, but the cause of MacAleister’s death was never discovered.  This, anyway, was Driberg’s story and it fascinated both the Wheatleys and Knight, although Crowley in the flesh remained a disappointment.

Knight met Crowley at the Wheatleys.  He was well-dressed and middle aged, with the voice and manner of an Oxford don.  He said his own grace, embroidering Rabelais’ (Do what you like) ‘Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law,’ but nevertheless Knight wondered how such racy legends had sprung up around such a seemingly harmless, if eccentric, academic.

Knight told his nephew, Harry Smith, that he and Dennis Wheatley went to Crowley’s occult ceremonies to research black magic for Wheatley’s books.  “They jointly applied to Crowley as novices and he accepted them as pupils,” Smith told me.  “But my uncle stressed that his interest – and also Wheatley’s – was purely academic.” (pg. 90-1)

The links become clear: It is Wheatley, Knight and Ian Fleming who would be the chief architects of the ruse to coopt Crowley for the purpose of luring Nazi Rudolph Hess to parachute into Scotland.  Fleming biographer Andrew Lycett only mentions this briefly in passing, leaving out Crowley:

“At the same time he [Fleming] maintained contact with several other friends in the broad field of deception, including Ellic Howe, who had worked for the printer James Shand and now specialized in counterfeit German documents; Dennis Wheatley, an occasional dinner guest who worked for the London Controlling Section masterminding deception projects; and Louis de Wohl, and astrologer who was used by the NID to chart the exact moments when Hitler might be open to ruses and feints.” (Ian Fleming, pg. 134).

And Masters again:

“Ian Fleming, then in the Department of Naval Intelligence, was fascinated by Knight’s mysterious persona, and was to involve him in an extraordinary adventure whose components – The Link [a supposed pro-Hitler underground in the UK], Aleister Crowley and Hess – were to make an explosive mixture.  Years later, when Fleming wrote the first of his James Bond books, he used an amalgam Knight and his own superior, Rear-Admiral John Godfrey, as the model for M, Bond’s boss.” (The Man Who Was M, pg. 157)

In fact, this curious episode of the tale of luring Hess through Crowley was apparently seeded in a predictive programming form (or the idea was nabbed therefrom) in Ian’s brother, Peter Fleming’s novel, The Flying Visit, penned soon before Hess’ flight.  Fleming scholar Craig Cabell comments on this fantastical story:

“SOE and NID were closely associated with each other at the time of Hess’ flight and Fleming would have learned very quickly about Hess (because he saw much intelligence from various sources).  We know for certain that Fleming tracked down Aleister Crowley for advice concerning Hess’s interrogation, which prompted Crowley to write to the DNI.  But why would Fleming do that?  Crowley had been dubbed the wickedest man in the world, a master of the Black Mass, who once apparently summoned Pan and was left a jibbering wreck.  Although still a master of the Occult and Astrology during the Second World War, Crowley was more content to write propaganda poems than summoning up ancient demons; bit he did write to Godfrey, the sealed letter covered in occultist symbols.  The letter read:

Sir:

If it is true that Herr Hess is much influenced by astrology and magick, my services might be of use to the Department in case he should not be willing to do what you wish.  I have the honour to be, sir,

Your obedient Servant,

Aleister Crowley” (Ian Fleming’s Secret War, pg. 46)

“His [Crowley’s] utility to MI5 during his Berlin days, when he spied on German communists, was not forgotten.  Further, he had been cultivated by Dennis Wheatley, who found the occult fascinating…Knight was the prototype for Ian Fleming’s character “M”: The intelligence chief whom we always see in the movies giving Sean Connery or Roger Moore his dangerous, “license to kill” assignment.  What is not generally known is that “M” was also introduced to Aleister Crowley–by Dennis Wheatley–and was quite friendly with the Magus….here is Maxwell Knight, “M” after all, accepting a kind of occult initiation into from Aleister Crowley and becoming his pupil!  Himmler was obsessed by the idea that British Intelligence was being a Rosicrucian Order and that occult adepts were in charge of MI5.  How would he have reacted if he had known the formidable Maxwell Knight, head of Department B5(b), the countersubversion section of MI5, was a disciple of Aleister Crowley?  And that Dennis Wheatley – he of the occult novels favored by Goering – was also a student of Crowley’s and simultaneously working for Churchill’s planning staff? (pg. 231-3.  See also For Your Eyes Only: Ian Fleming and James Bond by Ben MacIntyre, pg. 88)

I’ve noted many times the connection of Crowley to various villians, including LeChiffre in Casino Royale, but as we shall see, the influence in the British Psy Op Department extends beyond Fleming to Wheatley, as we shall see: “One of the last photographs of Rudolf Hess in Spandau has him pictured with detailed maps of the moon.  These are printed on the wall of his cell directly above his bed.  Also the character of LeChiffre in the James Bond novel Casino Royale is based physically on Aleister Crowley; just as the evil occultist in Dennis Wheatley’s Devil Rides Out is based upon Crowley.” (Ibid., pg. 48-9)  Indeed, not only was this the beginning of Fleming’s inspirations for 007 and the fictional occult tales of Duc de Richleau in Wheatley’s novels, but is in fact the same circles that would produce the OSS in 1942, later to become the CIA in 1947.   The curious convergence of espionage, Hollywood, the occult and high finance become manifest. Cabell continues:

“It was May 25 1941 wen Fleming and Godfrey stepped off the flying boat at LaGuardia, New York.  They were there to observe U.S. port security alongside William Stephenson’s British Security Coordination (BSC), who worked out of New York.  There was of course more to the trip than that.  The gentleman form the NID were overtly there to assist Stephenson in developing a security sector in America that would benefit both US and UK interests.  Godfrey was keen to make William Donovan head of the new security force.  Donovan was senior partner in a law firm but during the Great War he had worked as a private intelligence gatherer for J.P. Morgan, so he was a known, albeit unused, officer.  Fleming had tried to coax Donovan into Operation Goldeneye, but Godfrey had him personally marked for the U.S.” (pg. 53)

And for the icing on the cake, consider Phillip Knightley’s admission of this as nothing more than a British move to further manipulate U.S. policy in favor of the U.K., in his The Second Oldest Profession: Spies and Spying in the Twentieth Century:

 “Donovan was helped to prepare his submissions to Roosevelt by Stephenson and the SIS officers attached to his staff.  Two senior British Intelligence officers, Admiral John Godfrey and his personal assistant, Lieutenant Commander Ian Fleming (later of James Bond fame), crossed the Atlantic to work on the campaign…There is no doubt what the British were hoping to achieve, as the reports that Stephenson sent to Menzies make clear.  He wrote that, at first, Donovan was not at all certain he wanted the job of directing ‘the new agency we envisage’ (emphasis added).  When Donovan’s appointment was announced, Stephenson wrote that Donovan was accusing him of having intrigued and driven him into the job.  Stephenson then expressed his relief that ‘our’ man was in a position of such importance to ‘our’ efforts.  Major Desmond Morton of the Industrial Intelligence Center was even blunter:  ‘…to all intents and purposes US security is being run for them at the president’s request by the British.  It is of course essential that this fact should not be known in view of the furious uproar it would cause if known to the isolationists.” (pg. 217-8)

The Devil Rides Out (1968) Onto Film

Thus we come to the analysis of the 1968 film incarnation of Wheatley’s novel, The Devil Rides Out, starring Christopher Lee and James Gray, directed by Terence Fisher.  Fisher was a fixture of dozens of B horror films in the 60s, including previously directing Christopher Lee as Dracula and Peter Cushing as Van Helsing in Dracula: Prince of Darkness (1966).  (Lee would also go on to play Dracula in The Satanic Rites of Dracula in 1973 with Cushing).  Interestingly, Fisher’s gothic horror films generally present evil as defeated by a combination of faith and reason, in contrast to both superstition and rationalistic scientism:

“His films are characterised by a blend of fairy-tale, myth and sexuality. They may have drawn heavily on Christian themes, and there is usually a hero who defeats the powers of darkness by a combination of faith in God and reason, in contrast to other characters, who are either blindly superstitious or bound by a cold, godless rationalism (as noted by critic Paul Leggett in Terence Fisher: Horror, Myth and Religion, 2001).”

The figure of Christopher Lee is also relevant, given his own claims of involvement in the Special Operations Executive, including even whispers he was an assassin:  “I was attached to the SAS from time to time but we are forbidden – former, present, or future – to discuss any specific operations. Let’s just say I was in Special Forces and leave it at that. People can read in to that what they like,” he stated.  However, there is some matter of dispute as to Lee’s claims, including the idea they may have been exaggerated or made up.  Similar to the story of Chuck Barris, the Gong Show Host who purportedly worked side jobs as a CIA hitman as portrayed in the 2002 film Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Count Dooku may have been serving out the Imperial Palpatinian death notices in real life.
What is also curious about Lee are his comments on the occult, in which an old interview shows his knowledge and fascination, as well as his personal copy of Anton LaVey’s book, signed by the founder of the rather theatrical Church of Satan.  LaVey’s connections and associations with Hollywood, including Sammy Davis, Jr. and Jayne Mansfield are well known and need not be rehearsed, but the interview certainly provides a window into Lee’s views on the matter.  Lee also later bade curious investigators an emphatic warning in an interview just prior to his death, assuring the dark forces of the occult will induce madness, as well as loss of soul.

Replete with occult and tarot imagery, the film is a fantastical, yet relatively realistic presentation of the rituals and beliefs of some serious occultists.  It is also worth remembering, as we have seen, these occult practitioners include member of the British elite and intelligence establishment.  Both Wheatley and Knight appear to have taken it seriously, giving the story a unique, dark aesthetic.  In the film, we find Nicholas Duc de Richleau (Lee) becoming suspicious of the odd behaviors of his friend, Simon Aaron.  Visiting Aaron, Nicholas discovers he is no longer welcomed among his new cast of colorful elites, all of whom appear opulently wealthy and eccentric.  Sneaking away to Aaron’s observatory, Nicholas discovers the sign of Baphomet upon the floor and various astrological and ritual implements (including chickens stored in a closet) which suggest the elite “society” of Aaron’s is, in fact, a coven involved in ceremonial invocation of spirits.

Upon learning the coven is intent upon initiating both Aaron and a young love interest (of Nicholas’ other friend) named Tanith, the bloodline importance here coming to the fore, inasmuch as generational Satanic bloodlines are believed to carry a special potency.  In fact, Tanith is going to be wed to Satan himself.  Heading up the cult is one Mocata (James Gray) who appears to have the special ability to cause smog, mirror-frosting and on-the-spot mind control and psychic vampirism through the gaze of his eyes.  The much-hyped “suicide programming” of “Illuminati victims” actually does appear in the film, where both Tanith and Aaron attempt to murder others, as well as themselves, showing “suicide programming” on the part of Mocata.

Disrupting a woodland Satanic baptismal ceremony that hearkens to something akin to the Order of the Golden Dawn, yet situated in Salisbury Plain, Nicholas party crashes the drugged revelry by tossing a cross at Baphomet himself.  Rather pissed at this effrontery, Mocata conjures the Angel of Death himself to take vengeance upon Nicholas and company, leading to the counter-ceremonial ritual sleepover inside the magic circle.  While inside the circle, Nicholas and company experience a spiritual/psychical magical battle that evidently plays out in the aether, resulting in a foiled attempt at child sacrifice by Mocata.  The interesting aspect here is the idea that to fight the black magic of Mocata, Nicholas must also delve into ritual magic.  While somewhat ridiculous, the film does present authentic aspects of both hermetic and perennial esoterica, where the notion of spiritual battles waged on a higher, aetheric plane effect our own through the transference of energy.

Count Dooku slumber parties are a trip…

While all of this may seem a bit out of place, one can see a deeper strand of revelation at work here, shining light on more than merely spies and weird movies.  The real story of the Devil Rides Out is that Wheatley, as a high level insider in the western intelligence elite and associate of Crowley, couldn’t help but reveal the actual workings of the upper crust, now evident in the stories of the Franklin Coverup, the Dutroux Affair and the UK’s Jimmy Savile.  In Voodoo, there is the old myth that the devil appears especially at the crossroads, and as we see, he also rides out in similar fashion, as the crossroads of occult film and espionage meet here.

RUSSIA TO DEVELOP ICBM MODIFICATIONS TO DESTROY ASTEROIDS

Ms. K.F. sent this article to us, and it's worth pondering in the context of all the spate of space-related issues we're been looking at on this website, particularly with respect to the impending commercialization of space, and its consequent inevitable weaponization.
Before looking at that, however, I'd like to remind readers once again of the amazing affidavit of Dr. Carol Rosin. Dr. Rosin, if one is unfamiliar with her story, was a professional colleague of the late Dr. Wernher von Braun, the German rocket scientist who with his team of other German (and American) engineers, was instrumental in launching the USA into space, and, of course, for providing the technical know-how that ultimately made America's ICBM and SLBM nuclear capability possible. After his resignation from NASA, von Braun took a position at Fairchild Industries, where he worked closely with Dr. Rosin, where, shortly before his death, he told Dr. Rosin about "the plan" that would be used to put weapons in space. The move would be cloaked behind a progression of "threats", first Communism(we need a missile defense against those Godless Russians), then terrorists (!), then "nations of concern" would be the excuse to weaponize space (think "axis of evil" here: North Korea, Iran, etc), then asteroids, and finally, extra-terrestrials.
If you're familiar with Dr. Rosin's story, she first shared this years ago with "UFO disclosure" advocate Dr. Steven Greer, who published her statements along with many others, in a collection. Dr. Rosin, unfortunately, was not taken too seriously at the time. But then came the collapse of the Soviet Union, 9/11, and... well, you get the idea. We're now well into the "Asteroid" stage of the Rosin affidavit, and people are less inclined to scoff. I'm in that :"non-scoffing" crowd,
I've also been arguing that with the increased commercialization of space and all the talk about asteroid mining and so on, that inevitably this will mean the not just the militarization of space(we've got that already, in spades), but its actual weaponization, as companies will need to protect their assets from rivals or "whomever."
Well, Russia now seems to be willing to address the asteroid threat, and you can chalk this one up to another "hit" in Dr. Rosin's and von Braun's predictions, and so far, it looks like she's and he's been batting 1000:

Russian scientists have developed a project of upgrading intercontinental ballistic missiles to destroy near-Earth meteorites 20-50 meters in size, leading researcher of the Makeyev Rocket Design Bureau Sabit Saitgarayev told TASS on Thursday.
The scientists would like to test the improved missiles’ capabilities against the asteroid Apophis expected to come dangerously close to the Earth in 2036, the scientist said.

Several million US dollars and the authorities’ permission are required to modernize ICBMs, the scientist said, without specifying, however, whether the required funds and the authorization for these works were available.
The scientist said design works in this area were already under way.

So here's my high octane speculation: I don't for a moment think that the funding will be lacking for several reasons. Firstly, it should be recalled that one month prior to the Chelyabinsk meteor in 2013, Russian Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev stated that the world should develop an international asteroid defense system, but that if the world failed to do so, Russia should do so on its own. Secondly, it should be recalled that Mr. Medvedev also stated quite explicitly that Russia already possessed the means to detroy asteroids. What were the means? Interestingly enough, he also said this would be "thermonuclear weapons and other means." It's that "other means" that intrigued me then, and does now, for it implies methods that are, in a word, "exotic", such as some sort of directed energy weapon.  Then we were treated to Russian announcements of a kind of "gravity wave" weapon under development by Dr. Evgenny Podkletnov, who maintained they already had such a weapon that could crush/vaporize objects at a distance of about two kilometers. Granted, it's not much use for asteroid-vaporizing(if it even exists), but one suspects that if the weapon exists, then it is to such weapons what the bombards of the high Renaissance are to the Paris Gun of 1918. Range can be extended, and after all, the Russians love their artillery (just ask the Germans).

But to come down to earth for a moment: imagine the Russians actually successfully test such a modified ICBM on an asteroid. The real message would be geopolitical, and a clear shot across the bows of the west and its space commercialization plans, and would touch off a new arms race for "space-adaptable" weapons platforms. And ultimately, the best way to defend against asteroids, with (or without) missiles, is to base them in space. If all this speculation has any merit whatsoever, than one can expect similar annoucements to come from other countries in the near future... watch for them, they'll eventually come. And then will come the calls for an international authority to control all such weapons, probably under the auspices of the UN Security Council, or some newly created agency of it.

These transhumanists define human enhancement as everything that “encompasses a range of approaches that may be used to improve aspects of human function (e.g. memory, hearing, mobility). DARPA has a $2 billion yearly budget for research into creating a super solider as well as developing a synthetic police force. Working with the human genome, DARPA hopes to manipulate certain gene expressions. In experimentation, DARPA and the military industrial pharmaceutical complex are using natural abilities that are enhanced through genetic engineering.

Some of the medical feats DARPA would like to enhance are the ability of military soldiers to regrow limbs destroyed in battle.

By eliminating empathy, the Department of Defense (DoD) hopes to “enhance” a soldier’s ability to “kill without care or remorse, shows no fear, can fight battle after battle without fatigue and generally behave more like a machine than a man.”

Scientists are researching the construction of soldiers that feel no pain, terror and do not suffer from fatigue as tests on the wiring of the human brain are furthered by Jonathan Moreno, professor of bioethics at Pennsylvania State University. Moreno is working with the DoD in understanding neuroscience. The Pentagon allocated $400 million to this research.

Further study could be passed onto the general public in order to maximize profits as well as enhance the drug’s effectiveness. According to Joel Garreau, professor at Arizona University, DARPA is learning how to genetically modify human fat into pure energy by rewiring the metabolic switch which would create soldiers that require less food. By using gene therapy and combining enhancements to alter the color of the human eye is a blending of mutations that have no basis in the natural world.

In addition to genetically modifying the human genome, global Elite are obsessed with the merging man and machine, transhumanism and immortality. Basing advancements on scientific research, the 2045 Program will create “a new vision of human development that meets global challenges humanity faces today, realization of the possibility of a radical extension of human life by means of cybernetic technology, as well as the formation of a new culture associated with these technologies.”

The globalists at the 2045 Program assert that humanity “is in need of a new evolutionary strategy” consisting of a balance between the complexity of technological advances and the acceleration of informational processes to expand the “limited, primitive human” into a “highly self-organized” and technologically “higher intelligence”.

The Project for the New American Century (PNAC) published a document entitled Rebuilding America’s Defenses in 2000 which frameworks a strategy for American hegemony in the near future, identifying “problem areas” of the world and advising regime change of unfavorable governments so that in the end the nations of the world will be unified under the banner of American democracy.

The revelation of former US President George Bush’s “axis of evil” defined American policy under the guidelines of the PNAC with the identification of Iran, Iraq and North Korea which is literally mentioned in the PNAC as governments that require a regime change.

In the PNAC, the globalists have described the use of scientific enhancement and clinical trials turning the US armed forces into unwitting test subjects for the advancement of a super solider.

While Roger Pitman, professor of psychiatry at Harvard University is experimenting with propranolol which is a beta blocker that is believed to erase “terrifying memories”, soldiers are subjected to more research while serving to alleviate the psychological effects of war. Moreno explains: “The problem is: what else are they blocking when they do this? Do we want a generation of veterans who return without guilt?”

• Hawley, Pennsylvania, 9/7/12:  20-year-old Richard Cimino Jr., naked and bleeding profusely from severe injuries suffered when he jumped from the second-floor window of a home he’d broken into, tackled a woman on the street and “began to gnaw” at her head, all while “screaming like an animal,” according to a state police press release.
• Jacksonville, Florida, 9/5/12: 42-year-old transient Cheri Dana grabbed a butcher knife, yelled, “God is here, I’m going to repent,” and attacked someone inside an addiction treatment center for teens.  She then stabbed a table before stripping down, attacking two cars and chasing students getting off a school bus before police subdue her with a taser.
• Farmington, Arkansas, 7/19/12:  43-year-old Christopher Webb is arrested when officers responding to a 911 call hear screaming from inside the victim’s home.  Webb, the principal of Farmington High School, is discovered, bloody and nude, armed with a knife, and allegedly choking a woman in a bathroom.  A dog with its throat slit is in the bathtub.
• Tempe, Arizona, 7/19/12: 18-year-old Noah McQueen barricades himself in the bathroom of a coffee shop and strips, trying to fight the bugs he’s convinced are eating him alive.  Police find him — and the bathroom — covered in blood.
• Genoa, Italy, 7/18/12: A 26-year-old Russian man attacks his ex-girlfriend, nearly biting off her lips and leaving major bite marks on other parts of her body.
• Tempe, Arizona, 7/17/12: Police say Arizona State University student Michael Hurtado allegedly crashes his truck, gets “fully naked,” hops in someone else’s U-Haul truck, and starts making out with the steering wheel.
• Fair Oaks (Sacramento), California, 7/15/22:  32-year-old Moses Trotter is arrested, naked and covered in blood, and accused of the brutal murder of an elderly woman in her home.

• Calgary, Alberta, 6/26/12: Police subdue a naked, bloody man smashing his face against a fence in a alley.  A police spokesman says, “Officers describe him having superhuman strength and a high threshold for pain.”
• Lilburn, Georgia, 6/14/12: 21-year-old Karl Laventure emerges from the woods onto a golf course, “half-naked and confused”.  Golfers report to police that Laventure posseses “super-human strength.”  He rushes police, threatening to eat them.  It takes a dose of pepper spray to the face and five shots with a taser to subdue him.
• Wenzhou City, China, 6/30/12: An intoxicated bus driver identified only as Dong allegedly jumps on a woman and begins biting her face.  Passers-by are unable to pull him off the woman until police arrive and handcuff him.
• Palmetto, Florida, 6/20/12: 26-year-old Charles Baker allegedly bursts into his girlfriend’s home, strips, throws furniture around, and bites a man who tries to restrain him in the bicep.  Police tase Baker four times before he is subdued.
• Altoona, Pennsylvania, 6/17/12:  New mother Carla Murphy, 31, who’d given birth two days earlier, is discovered by nurses naked and confused, rolling around on the shower floor.  She becomes so violent when roused that police are summoned.  They manage to subdue her, but not before she bites one of the officers.
• North Miami Beach, 6/2/12: 21-year-old homeless man Brandon De Leon is arrested by police after a fight in front of a restaurant. De Leon tries to bite a police officer, growls, repeatedly smashes his head against the patrol car and his cell wall, and yells, “I’m going to eat you.”
• Carencro, Louisiana, 6/2/12: 43-year-old Carl Jacquneaux attacks the husband of his ex-wife and allegedly bites off a piece of the man’s face.
• Joppatowne (Baltimore), Maryland, 6/1/12: 21-year-old Alexander Kinyua, a student at Morgan State University, admits to police that he ate the heart and part of the brain of a man who’d been missing for about a week.  Part of the man’s dismembered body is found in the home the two men shared; Kinyua leads police to the rest of the remains at a nearby church.
• Miami, Florida, 5/26/12: A naked Rudy Eugene is shot dead by police while eating the face of homeless man Ronald Poppo.
• Indianapolis, Indiana, 5/20/12: A naked 27-year-old David Martin is subdued by four police officers and two passers-by after punching several people on a downtown street. Martin escapes the officers after being tackled and tased and is brought down again after a half-block chase on foot.
