Glyphosate Toxicity, Cause of Disease: Science Used to Regulate Monsanto Roundup Herbicide is Outdated: Study

Environmental health scientists call for expanded research and monitoring of world’s most widely used herbicide

More Problems with Glyphosate: US Rice Growers Sound the Alarm
Glyphosate, the active ingredient in Monsanto’s Roundup herbicide, is now the world’s most widely used weed-killer. First sold to farmers in 1974, its use has increased approximately 100-fold since. Nearly all the corn and soy grown in the United States is now glyphosate-tolerant and treated with the herbicide. The weed-killer is also used on numerous other food crops and on landscaping plants. Enough glyphosate is now used to cover nearly every acre of cultivated cropland in the US. The chemical has been found in streams, wastewater, and in rainwater samples taken from all across the country.
Despite the extensive and increasing use of glyphosate, we know little about how much of the chemical people are actually being exposed to. Here in the US, glyphosate is not among the pesticide residues for which the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) routinely tests food. It is also not included among the 200-plus chemicals on the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) human biomonitoring program.

Photo by Rob Franksdad Recent science also suggests that glyphosate lasts longer in soil and water than originally anticipated.
In a paper just published in the journal Environmental Health, 14 leading environmental health researchers say current safety standards are based on outdated science and inadequate exposure data and that new research into glyphosate’s toxicity should be a government priority.
“When these chemicals are approved for safety it’s based on assumptions of how they’ll be used,” including “at what time of year and at what quantities,” explains paper co-author Laura Vandenberg, assistant professor of environmental health sciences at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. “Even if this was a completely benign chemical, it’s shocking to know how much its use has increased,” she says.
Vandenberg and her co-authors point out that to accommodate changes in use, the levels of glyphosate-based herbicides allowed in crops — that include corn, soybeans, canola, and various livestock feeds have been increased. But they also point out that estimates of safe daily limits for eating food that might contain glyphosate – both in the US and in Europe – are based on science that does not reflect how much the chemical is now used. Recent science also suggests that glyphosate lasts longer in soil and water than originally anticipated.
In addition to using glyphosate at planting time, farmers are now using it just before harvest, to dry leaves in order to make the physical harvesting of plants easier. “Late season, harvest aid use of GBHs [glyphosate-based herbicides] is an important new contributor to the increase in residue frequency and levels in some grain-based food products,” the researchers write. Such use was not accounted for when safety limits were set for glyphosate when the herbicide was introduced. In recent testing done in the United Kingdom, glyphosate residues were found in about one-third of bread samples tested. And in the US, testing by the USDA in 2011 found glyphosate in about 90 percent of soybeans tested. But the paper points out that since such tests aren’t conducted regularly, there is no information about what people are exposed to through food on an ongoing basis.
In addition, there isn’t any continuous data on human exposure. “Glyphosate is being used way more than anyone ever anticipated and there is no biomonitoring data,” says report co-author Bruce Blumberg, professor of cell biology and biomedical engineering at the University of California, Irvine.
Health concerns
Adding to concerns about glyphosate is the fact that last year, the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer concluded that glyphosate is “probably carcinogenic to humans.” Glyphosate product manufacturers, including Monsanto, dispute this conclusion.
The chemical also presents other health concerns. Among those, the paper notes, are adverse effects on the liver and kidneys. There is also the possibility that glyphosate may impact the function of certain hormones — impacts that could influence a number of body systems, and influence development of chronic diseases. The researchers also point out that we know little about the effect of glyphosate-based herbicides on the immune and neurological systems – information that would be key to understanding potentially profound but subtle health impacts.
“We don’t know a lot but what we do know suggests harm,” says Blumberg.
“Glyphosate,” explains Vandenberg, “is not an overtly toxic chemical, which in part is why glyphosate use has soared.” But she says, “Glyphosate may contribute to more subtle diseases.”
Research on glyphosate’s toxicity, the paper explains, has typically focused on how much of the chemical will kill a lab animal — not to investigate what happens at low and chronic levels of exposure via food or drinking water. Vandenberg also explains that in addition to understanding how glyphosate itself acts on humans and the environment, it is important to understand the behavior of its primary chemical breakdown compound. That, she says, is yet another data gap.
Yet another concern is that glyphosate-based herbicides are often applied in conjunction with other pesticides and little is known about the effects of these mixtures. Safety levels for pesticides are calculated for each active ingredient individually, despite the fact that in most agricultural operations, a cocktail of them are applied together. Combinations of glyphosate plus other herbicides are now common in agriculture given that many weeds have developed glyphosate resistance from years of overuse.
Closing the data gaps
To close the many gaps in what is known about glyphosate exposure and toxicity, the researchers call for both new research into glyphosate’s biological activity and epidemiological studies. They recommend that the CDC include glyphosate in its biomonitoring program and that the US National Toxicology Program make glyphosate a research priority.
“The main point we were trying to make is that use has gone up and there is a lot of uncertainty about health effects,” says Blumberg.
Given that glyphosate is showing up widely in the environment – something not expected when the herbicide was first approved – and that its use has increased so dramatically since initial safety assessments were made, and what has been learned about its health effects since, suggest that a reevaluation is imperative, the researchers write.
“The big take away,” says Vandenberg, “is don’t throw yours hands up in fear, but that something we’ve been told is safe hasn’t been tested in the way that we can draw that conclusion from.”

THE X FILES: GENOMIC SIMS

Last night, I caught the final segment in the series of the six new X-Files episodes and while I have heard other talk show hosts from Alex Jones to Glenn Beck taking credit for the content that was presented, I can tell you that certain key words were used in the series that go beyond the information provided on these alternative talk radio shows.
The proof?
I was curious as to when both hosts have engaged their audiences in a conversation about something as esoteric as a “Tulpa.”
Home Again: The Trash Man episode, probably the most confusing for most people, launched a very important point to ponder with regard to the Tibetan idea of willing into a reality a being or entity that will do the will of its creator.
Mulder and Scully are investigating the deaths of people who are oppressing the homeless. The suspect of the murders is a menacing decaying man-monster with a band aid on his nose called, “The Trash Man.”
TheXFiles-Trashman020916
The styling of the show is strange and unexplained until both Scully and Mulder find a street artist hiding out in an underground dwelling.
The artist who wants to increase awareness of the homeless, lectures both of them on the wastefulness of society, explaining how people simply have their trash taken away “by magic” and don’t see the toxins leaking out in the landfills. “If you don’t see a problem, there’s no problem right?” he asks, sarcastically. The artist suggests he has accidentally created a Tulpa. The Tulpa, of course, is this avenging monster called the Trash Man. He says to Mulder “I meditated on it, I willed it… why I wanted him,” he explains, “I think there must be spirits and souls floating all around us, and if you think real hard, how you want them so bad, they come to you.”
Tulpamancers are people who, through extended bouts of concentration and visualization, produce a special kind of imaginary friend they call a Tulpa. Tulpas are understood to be distinct sentient beings with their own personalities, inclinations and relative autonomy.
Tulpamancing is actually something everyone does, well everyone who believes there is an invisible agent that intervenes from time to time in our lives. Anytime we pray to an external god asking for an intervention, we are literally mediating and willing into reality something or someone to have a hand in cognitively considering that things begin to happen in your favor.
For some it is a miracle, for others it is a tangible invisible or even visible agent that assists in changing the direction of a problem.
On a grander scale, we see an even greater possibility of consensus will summoning the idea of a second coming or even an alien intervention as we see that we are losing our grip on the world.
God now is a sensory reality for most, whereas Tulpas are thoughts that manifest into reality — and what can’t be done with extrasensory scheming, science will put into our midst through a series of genetic experiments to create what can be called a Sim or a Homunculus.
If you do not know what the term, Homunculus means all you need to know is that a Homunculus is an artificial humanoid created through alchemy. While not quite a human, this creature is a “rational animal” that will be the guinea pig for further experimentation that will be used to fulfill humanity’s dream of mastering life and death.
The idea of willing, into reality or creating a genetic slave has been considered a forbidden science since medieval times.
The Book “Abominable Mixtures”: The Liber Vaccae (the Book of the Cow) in the Medieval West, or The Dangers and Attractions of Natural Magic” demonstrates that something that is similar to genetic engineering must follow certain laws of magic and alchemy. It is suggested that any genetic Sim that is made is seen as the ultimate blasphemy in the eyes of God.
Homunculuslab
The magician must donate his own semen in a mixture of sun stone, animal blood, green tutia, and sulfur. The mixture is then used to inseminate a cow or a ewe. The animal should be left in a dark place and shall be fed the blood of another animal.
The cow or ewe should eventually give birth and the resulting “unformed substance” will become a Homunculus.
Next, you are to keep the newborn homunculus in a large glass or lead container for three days. The creature will become ravenously hungry in this time, so you’ll then kill the animal that birthed it and feed it the blood of its decapitated mother for seven days. In this time, it should develop into a full-grown tiny, grotesque humanoid with some fragment of a human soul.
As alarming and grotesque as these ideas are, they underline the mindset of the alchemist, whose practices wander the path of chemistry, philosophy and superstitious occultism in the quest for creating a genetically engineered slave.
As crazy as these ideas seem, they underline what our ancestors thought was possible. And as we continue to venture into an age of genetic manipulation and human cloning, who’s to say they were wrong?
These practices are similar to a type of Frankenstein story and it may even sound like the recipe for the half-man half-stone, Jewish Golem, which by the way the word, Frankenstein is German for “man of stone.”

If there is any doubt about what this X-Files six episode series is about it certainly isn’t about contemporary conspiracy theory found on your typical fair of popular .talks shows. They can say that it is all about them, but what it is about is the underlying conspiracy of what Hitler called “The Final Solution,” which is the culling of one type of human and having it replaced by the new human or the future human.
This future human according to the X-Files will be genetically merged with the alien – or what many call the corrupt bloodline. In the X-Files, the corrupt bloodline is the bloodline that has the black oil as its serum base.
We are told in the final episode of the X-Files that we have all received alien DNA when we received simple vaccines. The vaccinations were genetic Trojan Horses that would activate and kill millions of people.
However, the chosen hybrids will initiate the genetic experiments in creating genomic Sims that will inherit the Earth.
This is a metaphor of the current technocratic health system that seems to be aiding in what can be called the “Sixth Extinction.” This is the culling of humans in order to yield more resources for the elite that are organizing their globalist technocracy.
The main value that exists in the technocratic paradigm of medicine is separation. There is the principle of separation that states things are better understood outside of their context, that is, divorced from related objects or persons. Techno-medicine continually separates the individual into component parts, the process of reproduction into constituent elements, and experience of childbirth from the flow of life. But first and foremost, it separates the human body from the human mind.
In medieval times, this was spoken of in a treatise known as The De essentiis essentiarum. The De essentiis essentiarum roughly follows the “great chain of being,” from God and the angels down to animals, plants, and minerals. The principle of separation of mind from body is crucial in alchemy and also in genetics as we can see our bodies and thoughts as nothing but inanimate parts that can be used in the hermetic perfection of man or making man more than just a man.
The cult of Hermes Trismegistus in Alexandria was one of the main occult inputs into the Gnosticism of today. There are many people who see the symbol as an evil symbol with strong occult ties. Traditional Christians have decried Gnosticism as “Luciferianism,” or to the extreme, “Satanism,” and that it will be the state religious philosophy in the end times New World Order as Hermes was considered the replacement for Jesus Christ as the perfected man and god.
Michael-Maier_Symbola-aurea_e_p5_detail_c_375kb
The antichrist of course will make the claim that he is the leader of the Hermetic order and will be the replacement as the perfect man and god in apocalyptic scripture. His order will have the symbol of the dragon or the serpent.
Many times on Ground Zero, we have spoken of the Revelation of the Method and how occultists use symbolism to communicate with other occultists because some things have to be hidden in plain sight because they merely can’t be openly discussed among the unwashed masses and most people don’t notice or recognize the symbolism unless it is pointed out to them.
Most of the time, highly charged symbolism resonates with people and they don’t know why they are mesmerized by symbols like the Star of David or the Swastika or even the rising sun symbol associated with the new dawn, a symbol that is now used by the Obama administration. Adding the symbolism of Hermes which is arguably the symbol of the perverted Caduceus is significant because of how the rise of the New World Order wants to use health knowledge to wield their control over the affairs of the world.
The symbol has now been combined with the Obama symbol as the official symbol of Affordable Health Care. There have been eschatologists that have worried that the Obama logo – combined with the symbol of Hermes – is intentionally combining the substance of leader, messiah, healer, and alchemist.
bo_cadu21
This is allegedly the system that will use health, DNA data bases, vaccines, and Eugenics directives to create the perfection of man on earth.
Health care, DNA databases, genetics directives, and groups that have the power over life and death are now being put into play and the symbolism is only part of the plan.
This is the underlying conspiracy talked about in the recent X-Files series. It’s just not some pop conspiracy theory provided by the likes of Alex Jones or Glenn Beck.
The plan is the culling, the new race, and the alien infiltration.
A plan that with all of its difficulties, is being embraced by those who do not understand the art of mesmerism and the programming that is used to make an impression on “group think” or “crowd psychology”.
This theme was also in the main plot of Arthur C. Clarke’s, “Childhood’s End” where Karellen tells the inhabitants of Earth that their progeny will be perfected and their seed shall be the DNA base for a new civilization on a new planet.
tv_childhoods1a
A man perfected beyond the homunculus, a changeling that can be a breed of alien hybrid or perfected machine and human called, H Plus.
The transhumanistic and technocratic style is more or less without the obstacle of a soul that literally gets in the way of the process of treating the body like a machine that may be in need of an artificial part or substance to sustain it.
The reality that the X-Files is based on is far more horrific than anyone can imagine.
From the stories of Roswell, to the stories of terrifying abductions we have spun a huge mythology based on the grim reality of human experimentation that has led to where we are today. The question is whether or not this is a supernatural event that affects the entire globe.
Remember, it was the aliens who allegedly experimented on our animals and plant life. It was the aliens that conducted intrusive and horrific experiments on humans. It was the aliens who were cloning. It was the aliens that were mixing species and creating mutations. It was the aliens who predicted that we would see the results of our meddling with powers that would eventually destroy us.
According to some surveys, nearly 2% of Americans believe that some strange intruder has abducted them. The abduction scenarios read like a recipe in most cases and there is also the same amount of people within the set of reported cases that are determined to be psychotic or delusional. The fact is that not every case is a true abduction case. This does not mean however that the phenomenon is not happening.
The handfuls of accounts that have no explanation are horrifying and deserve investigation.
If this kind of kidnapping and torture was carried out by a human agency, there would be a consensus demand for an investigation into whom or what was responsible. Since such a small amount of people claim that these events are happening, governments have not investigated them.
There has also been the theory that world governments are involved with the abduction processes and that perhaps a collusion with aliens exists or the most horrifying of all, humans are carrying out these experiments and using the alien stories as a cover. After all, an “alien” would not be able to stand trial for these crimes against humanity. Abductees were claiming for many years that invasive procedures were being used for some higher purpose and that DNA was being sequenced in order to study humans. The invasive procedures included the removal of sperm, ova, DNA, and human fetuses.
Abductees for many years were saying they have seen first-hand that these aliens were able to extract sperm and ova from them but many claimed they saw clones of themselves and clones of several other mammals in labs that were on ships. Many abductees made claims that the aliens were using their DNA to replicate alien hybrids. These cases were best known and heard in the early seventies and eighties.
While we argued their validity in the 1990’s, it is evident that now cloning is a reality and DNA sequencing has been going on in order to map the human genome.
In the X-Files episode called, Founders Mutation, we see the results of this experimentation as children who have genetic anomalies are seen locked up like dogs in a kennel and wanting to be loved.
However, the reality is not all that clean and tidy.
Three years ago a man on a fishing trip in the Russian Ural Mountains stumbled onto a number of mysterious barrels in the forest but when one tipped over and cracked open, he made a horrifying discovery.
article-2178232-14321639000005DC-138_634x427
The barrels were filled with the bodies of dead babies.
When police showed up the following day, they discovered 248 human fetuses, aged anywhere from 12 to 16 weeks, stored in the canisters, all of which shriveled and mummified when exposed to the air. Stranger yet is that the tiny embryos are at least a decade old; each of them individually numbered and bearing their mother’s names on small ID cards.
Authorities believe the canisters were thrown from a truck tasked with disposing medical waste from any of the surrounding cities’ medical facilities, though all biological waste is legally required the be individually sealed and immediately destroyed, making this case exceptionally odd, as the fetuses were found stored together in formalin.
There were reports that the babies were used in genetic experiments.
This story came after the report that the world’s first genetically modified humans had been created and that 30 healthy babies were born after a series of experiments in the United States. So far, two of the babies have been tested and have been found to contain genes from three ‘parents’.
Geneticists fear that one day this method could be used to create new races of humans with extra, desired characteristics such as strength or high intelligence.
The X-Files, in a form of predictive programming, is telling us that anything which is thought of and brought about by will, like a Tulpa, can often get a nudge into reality by science.
We now can introduce foreign genes into the embryos of mice, cows, sheep, and pigs for, there’s no technological reason to suggest that it can’t be done in humans too.
There is no technological reason why alien DNA cannot be introduced to the genome.
According to the X-Files, it has been done already.

Next Month An Asteroid Will Pass So Close To Earth, We Might See It in The Sky

Posted by George Freund on February 24, 2016

Feb 09, 2016

NASA has announced that a 30-metre wide asteroid passing Earth on March 5 might come so close that it’ll be visible in our sky.

Before you freak out, there’s no chance that the asteroid is going to smash into us. The space agency is still determining its exact trajectory, but at the closest estimate, it’ll be 18,000 km (11,000 miles) away as it passes us by – which would make it easily viewable with the help of a telescope. To put that into perspective, that’s roughly one-twentieth the distance from Earth to the Moon.

Alternatively, the asteroid could travel further afield, and pass us at a distance of around 14 million km (9 million miles).

The reason for the big difference in these two estimates is that NASA only discovered this asteroid three years ago – hence the very-catchy name, asteroid 2013 TX68 – and haven’t had much time to observe it just yet. When it was first spotted, it was approaching Earth on the night-time side of the planet, but after three days of tracking, the asteroid moved into the day-time sky so it could no longer be monitored.

In that short period of time, scientists have been able to roughly map its possible trajectories, but there’s a slight margin of error, which is why we’re not exactly sure whether it’ll be passing us with an incredibly wide berth, or coming close enough for us to get a glimpse of it.

“This asteroid’s orbit is quite uncertain, and it will be hard to predict where to look for it,” said Paul Chodas, the manager of NASA’s Centre for Near Earth Object Studies. “There is a chance that the asteroid will be picked up by our asteroid search telescopes when it safely flies past us next month, providing us with data to more precisely define its orbit around the Sun.”

You can see the two projected (and both very safe) paths the asteroid could take below and negative effects from us are explained in this clip:

Given our current understanding of the asteroid’s possible trajectories, there is a very small (less than 1-in-250 million) chance that the asteroid could impact Earth in 2017 on one of its later flybys, but NASA isn’t too worried just yet.

“The possibilities of collision on any of the three future flyby dates are far too small to be of any real concern,“ said Chodas. “I fully expect any future observations to reduce the probability even more.”

RECOMMENDED ARTICLE–BREAKING NEWS: NASA-Planet 9 Is Not The ‘mythical, Non-Existent’ Planet X / Nibiru

What would happen if a steroid 2013 TX68 did hit us? Well, it’s around twice the size of the asteroid that broke up in the atmosphere over Chelyabinsk, Russia, three years ago, releasing a shock wave that broke windows and damaged buildings, injuring around 1,500 people.

If asteroid 2013 TX68 did hit Earth’s atmosphere, NASA predicts it would produce an air burst about twice the energy of the Chelyabinsk event.

We’ll keep you updated on how the asteroid is tracking, so watch this space. But in the meantime, get your telescopes ready to watch the skies on March 5, because it’s not every day we have the chance to wave at an asteroid safely passing us by.

CHINA’S SILK ROAD IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS: FIRST TRAIN FROM CHINA ...

Catherine Austin Fitts shares this one, and it's worth passing along, for it is huge with economic and, more importantly, geopolitical significance. As you read this, compare China's approach in the region, to the USAs:
The ancient ‘Silk Road’ is back in business as new train connects China to Tehran
Now if you've been following this story, and China's ambitious plans (and let's not forget, Russia's as well), to expand the rail networks in central Asia, Siberia, and (in Russia's case), across the northern reaches of Eurasia in the Arctic, this will posisbly come as a surprise, for the links are being built, and now, used. And the usage is huge with geopolitical significance.
With that in mind, there's a significant statement in this article:
The first train connecting Iran and China loaded with Chinese goods arrived in Tehran Monday, reviving the ancient Silk Road trade route and highlighting the economic possibilities for Iran since the lifting of international sanctions, AFP reports. The 5,900-mile trip from eastern Zhejiang province took 14 days, or 30 days less than a typical sea voyage between Shanghai and the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas, according to the head of the Iranian railway company, Mohsen Pourseyed Aqayi. (Emphasis added)
The key here is the relative quickness and ease, not to mention cost effectiveness, of moving goods by rail(and one may assume, eventually a linked road and highway network as well), between China and Europe. Effectively, this is a huge offset to American sea power and its ability to interdict trade if necessary; it's an end run around that power, and a direct challenge to the principal feature of Anglo-American geopolitics for more than a century, which has been to prevent precisely the formation of such a huge trade zone circumventing its naval power and the trade and empire built from it. Think George Orwell's "Oceania" here.
China's approach is a long term "soft power" approach, one in almost direct contrast to the American destablization efforts in the region. China builds railroads, ships goods, and America drops bombs and drones. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out which approach will win friends and influence people in the long run.
But this also means that Chinese military power can also be swiftly projected into the region, if need be. Of course, rail lines are as subject to interdiction as sea lanes, but the problem here for the strategists of "Oceania" is that the land powers of the region, China and Russia, are not the same thing as the smaller nations the American military is used to bullying. And this means, inevitably, that China will play a role in the Middle East, if only to ensure the stability of its investments. In the light of last Thursday's News and Views on F. William Engdahl's assessments of American strategy in the region, That strategy, as he outlined it, was to create massive instability in the region, and indeed, perhaps it is a strategy designed to upset the plans of China. Indeed, if Middle eastern oil is jeopardized by regional conflict, this will only hurt CHina, and fuel American domestic production once again, which has been hurt by the recent low oil prices. China, conversely, will seek stability in the region, and to project its power eastward into the Pacific, and to develop Russian energy resources even more.
The "grand chessboard" just became very interesting. What's the next step for Russia and China? Watch the "stans" of Central Asia...

MIND MANIPULATION: THOUGHT READING TECHNOLOGY, PSYCHOTRONIC WEAPONS, ...

One of the things I've commented on from time to time, is the uncanny way that patterns emerge in the articles that people share with me. Most readers here are aware that this website's community contributes an enormous amount of articles via emails, and when I review them, I try to allow the readership here to determine what I blog about. I make the selections of course, but every now and then, so many articles are sent that are more or less focussed on particular themes or topics, that I try to blog about those patterns when they occur.
This week, there was a heavy interest - maybe it's in the aether - on the subject of the technologies and techniques of mind manipulation and even of weaponizing such technologies. Consider these two articles, the first, shared by Ms. M.W., and the second by Mr.V.T.:
Using Brain Electrodes Researchers Were Able To Read Minds Almost At The Speed Of Thought
Putin targets foes with 'zombie' gun which attack victims' central nervous system
Now, concerning the first article, some weeks ago I blogged about Japanese neurological researchers who had successfully demonstrated a system that was able to read a person's thoughts remotely, i.e., via a super-sensitive receiver that tuned into a person's brain waves, and then translated these via computer algorithms. Note that the technology discussed in the first article is the use of implanted electrodes in the brain, but note also the vast expansion of possibilities this makes available:
The team implanted the electrodes into the brains of epilepsy patients at the Seattle Harborview Medical Center. These patients were chosen because usual treatments, like medication, weren’t effective. It was necessary for the researchers to use this procedure temporarily to see if they could find the focal points of the seizures.
With their specialized test of showing images of faces and houses to the patients, the researchers were able to determine in a much broader scale, the affected neurons instead of one neuron in traditional diagnostics. This allowed for an algorithm that analyzed the data to determine on its own what the patient was looking at, whether it was a picture of a house, a face, or a blank screen and to their surprise, the algorithm ascertained the right answer at 96% of the time. It did it at an average speed of 20 milliseconds.
Things get weirder with this area of research. In another experiment researchers were able to get disabled persons to move a finger where they couldn’t do before and they hooked up two brains with electrodes so that the two people could guess what the other was thinking.
This is straight out of science fiction for sure but it’s a reality now.
In theory the use of electrodes of a more complex level could achieve ways for disabled persons to regain lost abilities of mobility and communication.
It does not take much imagination to see endless other possibilities, such as "radio assisted telepathy," i.e., the direct communication of thoughts between soldiers on the battlefield, without the use of speech. Throw in encryption technologies (think of the current dispute between Apple and the US Federal government here, over the phone of the San Bernardino terrorists), and one has not only a vast potential for "interaction", but also for a new type of privacy in communications. Then throw in hacking, signals jamming and... well, you get the idea.
But the technology also implies something else, raised by the second article:
Sources in Moscow say Mr Putin has described the guns, which use electromagnetic radiation like that found in microwave ovens, as ‘entirely new instruments for achieving political and strategic goals’.
Mr Putin added: ‘Such high-tech weapons systems will be comparable in effect to nuclear weapons, but will be more acceptable in terms of political and military ideology.’
Plans to introduce the super- weapons were announced quietly last week by Russian defence minister Anatoly Serdyukov, fulfilling  a little-noticed election campaign pledge by president-elect Putin.
Mr Serdyukov said: ‘The development  of weaponry based on new physics principles – direct-energy weapons, geophysical weapons, wave-energy weapons, genetic weapons, psychotronic weapons, and so on – is part  of the state arms procurement programme for 2011-2020.’
Specific proposals on developing the weapons are due to be drawn  up before December by a new Defence Advanced Research Projects Agency.
Research into electromagnetic weapons has been secretly carried out in the US and Russia since the Fifties. But now it appears Mr Putin has stolen a march on the Americans. Precise details of the Russian gun have not been revealed. However, previous research has shown that low-frequency waves or beams can affect brain cells, alter psychological states and make it possible to transmit suggestions and commands directly into someone’s thought processes.
Note that the "psychotronic" weapons are but one component of a whole list of weapons Russia will be adding to its arsenal: directed energy, geophysical, wave-energy(think Dr. Evgenny Podkletnov!?), genetic weapons, and of course, the mind-manipulation weapons, which, in this list, and given the types of capabilities that have been demonstrated in neurological research in recent months, are no longer the stuff of science fiction. And with the development of such technologies will come the inevitable development of countermeasures.
Stop and ponder this for a moment: the arms races of the 20th century, from the dreadnought to the strategic bomber to nuclear and thermonuclear weapons, will now give way to the arms race to control and manipulate the mind itself. One can imagine all the usual offshoots: tactical weapons, i.e., psychotronic "pistols" and "rifles" for use against specific individual targets, to theater and strategic psychotronic "howitzers" able to influence whole regions and their populations. (One can only hope that they'll be able to beam some sense into Washington, Wall Street, Berlin, and the City of London.)
But what I find most interesting about this is the tacit admission contained in the second article. For years, beginning in the 1980s, former Lt. Col.(US Army, ret.) Tom Bearden began to write and warn precisely about the Russian research and development of a series of weapons he called "scalar" or "quantum potential" weapons, weapons that could alter the physical state of matter, drain energy from, or put energy into, various regions, and, yes, alter the mental and emotional state of individuals and populations. These, Bearden maintained, were all based on the same basic principles, i.e., there was an underlying and basic physical principle which could be tapped and tweated and adjusted to accomplish a variety of things, depending on the situation and the desired goal, including mind manipulation, and even disease induction or cure. Bearden was, of course, largely scoffed at. It sounded magical, unbelievable.
But Mr. Serdyukov has now seemingly confirmed the existence, at least as far as the Russians are concerned, of "new physics principles," which sounds suspicious like what Bearden was warning about decades ago. In short, it's now public, and the Russians plan on spending some money on the technologies.
Now for the high octane speculation. Over the past few months, I've been suggesting in various blogs and interviews, that Russia is, in a sense, the first post-post modern state, since shedding the avowed atheism and secularism of the Soviet era. Russia, as I and others have noted, has been challenging the dogma of the West's globalists - I occassionally refer to it as globaloney - namely, that the era of the nation-state is over, and that the world should be run by transnational corporations and banks ala the encyclicals of David Rockefailure. The new sovereignty is the transnational corporation. So what has this to do with psychotronic weapons? A great deal, it turns out, for if the new sovereignty is the transnational corporation, then it becomes possible, according to the Russian logic, to declare war on them. But how would one target such an entity? Precisely by such weapons. In this context it's worth remembering the Soviet-era "microwaving" of the US embassy in Moscow, a hazardous place to work, since the incidence of cancers of embassy employees was abnormally high. Now imagine parking your pyschotronic weapon truck outside, say, Mon(ster)santo's headquarters in St. Louis, Misery, and beaming "disease" waves or mental and emotional states... You get the idea. It's a covert way to wage war, par excellence, and the Russians appear to be willing to expand their arsenal to be able to wage it.
The psychotronic arms race may have just begun...
