Environmentalists traveling through the Northwest Passage in Canada had to cut their trek short due to freezing temperatures – and ice.
At Cambridge Bay, the group was forced to turn around.
Alarmists dismiss new ice growth in the Arctic as a “factoid” and “irrelevant” to the contention they hold that the Arctic ice is melting because the world is warming due to human activity.
In fact, between Russia and Canada, there are ice sheets that never unfroze, which flies in the face of the eco-fascist theory that claims carbon dioxide is heating up the atmosphere and causing problems with the natural regulation of the earth’s temperature.
Since 2012, the Arctic ice sheet has grown by 920,000 square miles which explains why the team had to turn back at the Northwest Passage; which remains blocked with pack-ice.
Anastasios Tsonis, professor at the University of Wisconsin (UoW) said :
The International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has ordered over 1,500 changes to the 5th Assessment report that will be published in October.
The IPCC maintains that they are 95% sure that anthropormorphic realities are causing global warming.
Apologists will say that there is a degree of uncertainty when predicting climate change; however an instance where alarmists simply mislead and falsify information is a completely different level of simply getting a prediction wrong.
Since 2002, the temperature of the planet has been steadily cooling and this “cooling trend is sent to continue for the next 50-70 years as the amount of CFCs in the atmosphere continues to decline.”
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) explainsthat CFCs “are nontoxic, nonflammable chemicals containing atoms of carbon, chlorine, and fluorine” that are used to make “aerosol sprays, blowing agents for foams and packing materials, as solvents, and as refrigerants.”
Anthony Watt, alarmist blogger claims that “this may be nothing more than coincidental correlation. But to determine if his proposed cosmic-ray-driven electron-reaction mechanism is valid, I’d say it is a case of ‘further study is needed’, and worth funding.”
Scientists in the Met Office in the UK (UKMO) have observed that there is a measureable slowing down of the Earth’s temperature that can be seen within the last 5 years; however there is also a noticeable warming of the oceans.
Oceans absorb heat which helps cool the planet. The deep ocean waters have begun to warm and are no longer cooling as they once did.
Phil Jones, leading figure at the Climate Research Unit (CRU) produced a temperature graph explaining the slowdown of the Earth’s temperature.
The warmth of the sun is being absorbed by the oceans depths which are causing the sudden heating of the water, while less of the heat is escaping to the surface of the water.
Professor Rovan Sutton claims that according to predictive models, this slowing down is common because of how it stops and starts. It’s just a pause in the climate change scenario.
Pauses in temperature behavior should be expected over two decades.
