Ke$ha Claims She Had Sex With a Spirit http://extraordinaryintelligence.com/8929/the-unexplained/keha-claims-she-had-sex-with-a-spirit/
Published on October 2, 2012 by natalina · 4 Comments Singer Ke$ha recently told Ryan Seacrest that the inspiration for her new song “Supernatural” was a sexual encounter with a ghost. On Seacrest’s KIIS FM radio show, Ke$ha said that the theme of her entire album Warrior is spirituality and magic, but the specific track Supernatural was based on a literal encounter.
“It’s about experiences with the supernatural… but in a sexy way,” she told Seacrest. “I had a couple of experiences with the supernatural. I don’t know his name! He was a ghost! I’m very open to it.”
She also said, “There are so many weird topics on this record… from having sexy time with a ghost to getting hypnotized and going into past lives. I just really wanted the theme of this record to be the magic of life.”
Ke$ha’s inspiration for the album came from her “spirit journey” that took her around the world and involved a fair amount of occult dabbling. She explains, “The theme of this record is magic. I went on a spirit journey by myself. No security guard. No managers. I just went around the world and lived on a boat. I was in Africa rehabilitating baby lions. I went diving with great white sharks, and just went on this crazy spirit quest. I got hypnotized, and I just really wanted this record to be really positive, really raw, really vulnerable and about the magic of life.”
The debut track from “Warrior” is called
Die Young, which follows in the footsteps of a trend in today’s music
encouraging the listener to live in the moment and not think about the
future or consequences. Other hits of this ilk are Pitbull’s “Let’s Do
it Tonight” (lyrics: Give me everything tonight/For all we know we might
not get tomorrow/Let’s do it tonight) and “Heads will Roll” by the Yeah
Yeah Yeahs (lyrics: Off, off, off with your head/ Dance, dance, dance
’til you’re dead).
The term for a sexual encounter with a spirit is Spectrophilia. It
is nothing new. Demonic entities known as Incubus (male) and Succubus
(female) have appeared in religious tradition since ancient times. Such
encounters are often described in tandem with sleep paralysis and night
terrors. While often relegated to the corners of mythology, sexual
attacks or even invited sexual encounters by/with entities have been
reported by countless people throughout history, and often lead to a
deterioration in health or mental stability. From the photo above, it
appears that Ke$ha’s encounter may have had a similar negative affect on
her emotional state. Paranormal researchers who specialize in
demonization have pointed to a marked increase in such reports.
