That said, if you stop and think about it, NATO’s and the US’s popularity is so low in world opinion right now, that it seems to me to indicate that they have nothing to gain from shooting down a civilian airliner and murdering hundreds of innocent civilians either. Which leaves the possibility of “another player” at work…
