American Gladio: PART 1: It is an Ideology not a “Conspiracy”

Gladio is a state of mind and the mind of the state

This article is going to be an attempt to lay out the evidence which will show that what is happening in this country right now is an extension of a far-right fascist program run in the past called Gladio. It will attempt to provide some background for the program and show how the far-right leaning atmosphere when Gladio was conceived and conducted is the same as it is now and how it has become not only an underground terrorist program but actually the mainstay of our foreign policy.
We will look into the trademark signs of Gladio operations and see if they resemble what has been taking place in this country in the last 7 months or so while we also look at various legal shifts in domestic policy which opened up the CIA to operate legally inside the United States while also making ready for the ultimate purpose of Gladio operations and that is the mass arrests and detentions of those citizens who stand opposed to the far-right fascist ideology which has been readily adapted by both mainstream political parties in America.
PART 1: It is an Ideology not a “Conspiracy”
Gladio was not just a secret operation of a few leave behind cells placed through out Europe. It was an underground conspiracy of shared ideology which permeated various complicit businesses and government stooges at all levels. Gladio would never have worked in any country if it were not for a complicit, Vichy-type sympathetic media who took various horrific terrorist acts and used flimsy if not non-existent “evidence” and publicly blamed various leftist organizations or individuals then stoked general fear and loathing in the aftermath.

The purpose of Gladio was larger than simply installing puppets into places of power in the wake of WWII when many people in a war ravaged Europe wanted to move to the left in response to the narrowly avoided victory of the fascist NAZI state. They wanted to create a permanent climate of instability and while doing so, turn the general population against the “evil leftists” for good. To that end, brutal plans were made and carried out by ruthless devotees of far-right ideology. Former Nazi’s were even employed in some locations.

It isn’t enough to make the claim that since Operation Gladio existed it is “possible” that it is still operating today. The fact is, Operation Gladio, like other subversive and immoral acts carried out by NATO, the CIA and military intelligence over the years, has not only continued, but it has been brought into the mainstream of our foreign policy as the preferred “light footprint” type operations which President Obama just recently claimed would become the main focus of our military.

Across Europe from the late 1940s to 1990, Operation Gladio killed civilians and blamed the attacks on groups or individuals on the left in order to either maintain a far-fight puppet dictatorship or to install one in a country that had voted to move to the left in some measure. The ultimate purpose was to make the population hate and fear the left and to turn a blind eye as they were systematically rounded up and either disappeared or tortured and murder in massive numbers.
Gladio was the single largest terrorist organization in history. Countless thousands of innocent men, women and children died cruel painful deaths as a result.
Gladio (X2 was the early version) was run to the direct benefit of American and British corporations and financial interests by American military and intelligence officers like General Lyman Lemnitzer of Operation Northwoods fame (a plan to stage false flag attacks in and around the United States, either staged or real, in order to blame the leftist leadership in Cuba) and James Jesus Angleton. It was Angleton who famously said “Deception is a state of mind and the mind of the State”
Gladio was not the only program in the CIA’s and MI6′s underground war on leftists to take place during this time, it was simply one tool in the fascist shed.
Many nations were overthrown in more conventional and obvious manners during this same time, the most obvious and disastrous of these operations was the overthrow of the democratically elected prime minister of Indonesia in 1965 in which the CIA installed their puppet, Suharto who then went on to kill a reported 1/2 million leftists in that country with the help of the CIA creating lists of these people via their front organization USAID which employed non other than the mother of the current president of the United States.
Remember, in the early 1950s and onward for several decades, the CIA and the FBI were working hand in hand to repress the general uprisings in the U.S. This should surprise no one in that the CIA was formed in ’49 for no other purpose than to support our “national interests” abroad by whatever means necessary.
The working people in America understood that corporate profits were at an all-time high and yet workers were getting very little of it. Unions were forming, people were organizing. The most people ever killed in riots were around the end of the 1940s and early 1950s. McCarthyism and the “Red Scare” took hold as far-right ideologues saw communist sympathizers under every rock and every bed.
Hollywood was infiltrated by the CIA, turning out dozens of pure propaganda films demonizing the “international leftists’ and the commies at every turn.
The Cold War was being hyped as an attempt to thwart the Soviet aggression that simply didn’t exist as Eisenhower eventually tried to warn us of the rise of the Military Industrial Complex and it’s undue influence in American political culture.
In reality, it was our unwarranted aggression that dominated the world scene on behalf of our “national interests” which were cynically laid out in documents like the Mann Doctrine to claim that we would only support those Latin American countries which supported our corporate and banking interests.
Look around you now and tell me this isn’t the same climate we live in today.
How many times do we talk about living in a “one party political system”? A system designed and dominated by corporate interests.
How often are we forced to watch President Obama (born of neoliberalism and raised watching his mother and step-father in service to our dictator, Suharto) betray promises one after the other in his “pragmatic” way, taking this country farther and farther to the right of his so-called “center”?
By policy we know our country is aiding and abetting terrorist cells in Syria to this very day. They are killing innocent people, staging events and trying to blame it on the “leftist” government of Bashar Assad.
We did the same thing in Libya less than a year ago and the “progressive” Hillary Clinton literally giggled in glee as she took credit for his extra-judicial murder which was a war-crime by all rational counts.
Three months ago, in the wake of yet another dubiously staged event in Libya, we announced sending similar forces into 35 additional nation states in Africa in order to conduct similar operations. This announcement was met with less than a yawn by most “progressive” leftists in America. They have already drifted so far to the right, it is hard to tell one from the other anymore.
On New Year’s eve 2012, President Obama quietly signed NDAA 2012 which not only paved the way legally for him to round up and detain U.S. citizens without trial, indefinitely, but it also made the unbelievable declaration that the Global War on Terror has demanded that the entire world be considered a battlefield, including the United States. That declaration opened up the CIA and Special Forces groups to conduct operations here on U.S. soil.
Obama claimed publicly that he would veto any bill that contained these additions yet when given the chance too, he signed it instead. That’s because he had demanded them be included in the bill when it was first being written as was admitted by Carl Levin back in 2011. And his Justice department also has defended a court challenge to these stipulations since, getting an injunction on a judicial ruling which keeps them in place while all these curious events unfold before our eyes.
To say that the current media is taking an active role in supporting the current American Gladio operations would be an understatement. They can’t get out of each other’s way while creating false narratives to help prop-up the official story of the various Gladio-like events. The media has been consolidated to the point where only about 6 companies own pretty much everything the people in this country read or see by way of news and entertainment. Propaganda permeates the news and TV shows are becoming more and more instruments of indoctrination.
It is not even surprising to see films openly being discussed as written by the CIA in an effort to “educate” the public on various historical untruths. Big budget films almost exclusively have to promote one military branch or the other while pushing disinfo concerning Iran or North Korea or China or whomever they need to demonize at the time.
We are the most propagandized nation in the history of the world while we are becoming the most spied upon as well.
Our civil liberties are being eroded with a steady stream of constant Patriot Acts, Military Commissions Acts, FISA and the NDAA. We constantly hear of the old “archaic” nature of the Bill of Rights from one source or the other.
Our turn to be neoliberalized in earnest is upon us and right around the corner we are about to understand the kind of crippling economic reforms our greedy Chicago Boys or Berkley Boys imposed on others around the world.  The fiscal cliff looms in the near distance while our fake left president positions himself for his next betrayal.
The threat we face is not that of some super families or the Illuminati or hyper-dimensional clockwork elves, it is much simpler than that, but the fake alternatives won’t want you to understand it for what it is.
They would have you believe it’s anyone but what it really is, from “the Jews” to reptilian alien cross-breeds drinking the blood of children in Satanist rituals.
It’s much easier and more obvious than all of that.

Fascism is a disease that some of us in this country have spread world-wide for a long time. It is an ailment of greed and inhumanity that seeks comfort in the suffering of others and the surrender of the Greater Angles of our Nature by everyone it touches. It is not enough to accept Big Brother, you must love him. Genuinely love him.
Years ago when I started this blog I chose Death of a Salesman as a kind of theme. It was because at the same time 1984 was published in 1949, Arther Miller wrote his play and it won international acclaim. It was about the end of a kind of thinking, a kind of America, and the start of something new, something less human, something willyloman couldn’t seem to ever come to terms with. This is the world of post WWII America and it is the world which we see taking shape today. It is a world dominated by propaganda and violence, deception and greed.
We briefly moved forward in the late 60′s and 70′s only to be ushered back to a time and an ideology we as a nation and the world in general had rejected through a combined effort of bloodshed and sacrifice.
Though Hitler may have failed, there were those back then who were determined to see his New World Order come to fruition and that is the world in which we see developing around us today.
The ideology of terrorism, assassinations, torture and repression is alive and well in America and it has usurped the left and the right while being carefully indoctrinated into our everyday lives by media outlets committed to it.
This was and is the climate which created an international terrorist operation like Gladio in the first place and as you can see, it exists here today in the very same state. It was only a matter of time before it found it’s way onto our shores.
(tomorrow I will look at the situational similarities between the various recent massacre marketing events that make up the American Gladio operation and the evidence that supports the idea that these were not the work of “crazed lone gunmen”)
