Arizona Shooter Jared Lee Loughner Most Likely on Psychotropic Drugs
The Gabrielle Giffords shooting is currently the largest story globally, with thousands of articles being written every single hour on the subject. Most are focused on blaming the incident on public figures, claiming that political ideology is what drove him to murder the Congresswoman. There is one thread that has been ignored, however, and it is crucial to decoding the truth regarding the events. In most cases of a psychopathic shooter taking the lives of innocent people, the killer is heavily dosed up on psychotropic drugs.
It is a common thread among most well-known shooters, ranging from Columbine to Virginia Tech. Columbine shooters Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, as well as 15-year-old Kip Kinkel, were all being pumped full of psychotropic drugs. Ted Kaczinski the “Unabomber”, Michael McDermott, John Hinckley, Jr., Byran Uyesugi, Mark David Chapman and Charles Carl Roberts IV, the Amish school killer, were all on SSRI psychotropic drugs as well. Jeff Weise, who exhibited many of the same characteristics of Arizona shooter Jared Lee Loughner, was on Prozac. There was even a mainstream news article questioning whether or not it led to the shooting.
In 2005, it was found that link between Prozac and suicidal behavior was kept a secret. The BBC even reported in as early as the year 2000 that Prozac ‘led to suicide’. Oftentimes killers will end their own lives after shootings, or attempt to force the cops to kill them. This is essentially a form of suicide with a mixture of murderous tendencies. If Prozac can drive someone to suicide, could it also drive someone to end someone else’s life? Paxil, an anti-depressant drug, was found to be linked to violent behavior in 2006. The link incited multiple lawsuits, and brings up questions as to whether or not similar drugs have the same effects. Anti-depressants have horrible side effects, but about the even more hardcore drugs, such as the drugs that many of the other killers were taking? These psychotropics may have been the final straw in pushing Loughner and others over the edge, the final push that they needed to go through with the horrendous act.
Loughner, like many other killers, was also obsessed with the occult. In a tent behind his home, Loughner owned a voodoo-esque shrine riddled with ceremonial candles and a replica of a human skull. While it is unknown how long this shrine existed, it seems that his parents must have allowed it. Loughner also expressed his interest in books like the community manifesto and mein kampf on his Youtube channel. This is yet another common theme amongst killers pumped full of pharmaceutical drugs. Beauford Furrow, a killer who shot up a Jewish school in California, was an admitted Nazi death cultist. Larry Ashbrook, who is responsible for shooting up a Fort Worth Baptist church youth meeting in the late ’90s, belonged to the same organization as Furrow.
Nearly every shooter in recent times has been loaded up on harmful pharmaceuticals, arguably driving them to commit the horrendous acts that they have become known for. Loughner is most likely no exception. With children worldwide, particularly in foster homes, being dosed up with insane amounts of psychotropic drugs, it is a large concern. Prozac has even been found in the drinking water. Taking pharmaceuticals that lead to extreme thoughts of suicide and violent behavior is a recipe for disaster.
