EBOLA-RABIES VACCINE: CAN SCIENCE SAVE US?

In a case where reality is stranger than fiction,  it has come to light that the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) are granting an exclusive license to Exxell BIO, Inc. in Minnesota to produce a vaccine to combat Ebola using a modified rabies virus (document released March 31, 2014, by the Federal Register of the United States Government.*)  You can read the actual document HERE.

If this sounds vaguely familiar, let me refresh your memory.  It is actually a modified Ebola virus that sets off the entire apocalyptic chain reaction in the movie 28 Days Later, resulting in the “rage virus,” that sees those infected go completely “rabies” berserk and start killing and eating people.

From the actual Federal Register report:

The inventors [Exxell BIO] have developed a new platform based on live or chemically inactivated (killed) rabies virus (RABV) virions containing [Ebola]EBOV glycoprotein (GP) in their envelope. In preclinical trials, immunization with such recombinant RABV virions provided excellent protection in mice against lethal challenge with the mouse adapted EBOV and RABV. More specifically, the inventors have developed a trivalent filovirus [Ebola] vaccine based on killed rabies virus virions for use in humans to confer protection from all medically relevant filoviruses [Ebola] and RABV. 

Exxell has shown that a genetically combined rabies-Ebola virus serum protects lab mice against lethal doses of both of these diseases.  They have also indicated that they have developed a vaccine for use in humans.

From the report:

No vaccine candidates against Ebola virus (EBOV) … [is] nearing licensure, and the need to develop a safe and efficacious vaccine against filoviruses [Ebola] continues. Whereas several preclinical and clinical vaccine candidates against EBOV … exist, their further development is a major challenge based on safety concerns, pre-existing vector immunity, issues such as manufacturing, dosage, and marketability, and funding for development (emphasis added).

Essentially, the exclusive license needs to be granted so that Exxel can move forward with development.  As the deadline for written “evidence and argument” against the proposal has passed (April 30, 2014), it can be assumed that the license has been granted (although this has not be confirmed by ZRS).

As a believer in science and a general skeptic of conspiracy theories, even I find this a little chilling.  I believe the world is a better place because of science and modern medicine, so I read this news with guarded optimism.  I honestly don’t believe there are nefarious agents at work here, and medical doctors are serious scientists.  What does concern me, though, is widespread panic and the inevitable rushing-to-market of an untested vaccine, which may occur should Ebola break free from its shaky cage in Africa.

We’re already seeing this “rushing-to-market” scenario right now.  The administering of the experimental drug ZMapp (from biotech firm Mapp) to two American aid workers who recently fell sick with Ebola in Liberia, is an example of paranoia/hysteria circumventing standard operating procedures. Testing of new drugs usually takes years before it even sees human trials, and then years still until it is available to the public.  ZMapp has only been identified as a possible treatment since January of this year and has never been tested on humans.

EBOLA

Ebola is not new. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) describes Ebola as “hemorragic fever (Ebola HF) … a severe, often-fatal disease in humans and nonhuman primates (monkeys, gorillas, and chimpanzees) that has appeared sporadically since its initial recognition in 1976.”

The World Health Organization (WHO) fact sheets describes the symptoms:

Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) is a severe acute viral illness often characterized by the sudden onset of fever, intense weakness, muscle pain, headache and sore throat. This is followed by vomiting, diarrhoea, rash, impaired kidney and liver function, and in some cases, both internal and external bleeding. It can be transmitted through direct contact with the infected and their bodily fluids.

CAN SCIENCE SAVE US?

Much pressure has been put on medical labs and pharmas to create a vaccine for Ebola Virus Disease, as there is currently no fully tested anti-viral medication which reverses the disease. When someone becomes infected, the body’s own immune system must fight off the disease, which is why it is especially lethal in young children, older people, and those with certain pre-existing medical conditions.

There are a number of factors standing in the way of a faster developed vaccine. And much of it hinges on profit. When it comes right down to it, the big pharmacological companies are organizations whose ultimate purpose is to make money. If companies are not profitable, they will cease to perform any and all acts of altruism, perceived or otherwise. It’s civilization’s Achilles heel.

The high costs of research and development are in large part associated with many of the necessary rules and regulations that come with producing medicine. And much of that cost comes in the form of bureaucracy. Many a treatment has died a slow laboring death as it waits to pass through the myriad of fire walls erected to stop bad medicine from reaching the market (and which incidentally covers the pharmas’ asses as well). It’s a tenuous balancing act.  Add to that the sometimes irresponsible fear of science that can be seen today, and you have a perfect storm.

That being said, the flip side is also true. Safe guards are put in place to protect the public. The aforementioned balancing act between profit and safety (with bureaucracy as the tight rope) has eroded trust of the very government that implements that protection. Progress can be paralysed in the process. It’s also popular to be complacent these days, because so many people don’t know what to believe.

Well believe this.  If I have to choose who to trust (and let’s be honest, we are not a civilization without healthy trust), my money is on the smart people. The educated people. And I’m talking about the scientists and thinkers who have NOT been lobotomised by greed or partisan agendas. The only way to pick those people out of the landslide of media is to educate ourselves! And that’s with real science, and not with crackpot conspiracy theories from those kooks that seem to have taken over Youtube.

But that brings us full circle to the topic at hand.

We live in a global community, so the control of something like “Rage” (in fiction), or Ebola/rabies (in real life), fall under the responsibility of everyone in every country.  We can build a wall around our country, like boarding up the windows of our house to keep the zombie horde outside, but inevitably, as in every zombie movie, they’ll eventually get in. Time to get our ducks in a row.

CDC Announces Astronomical Autism Rate: 1 in 68 Children

What is to blame for the incredible rise in children with autism in the United States? The Centers for Disease Control recently announced that 1 in 68 children in America has an autism spectrum disorder. Now out of every child born, 1 in 42 boys and 1 in 189 girls will suffer from autism or autism-like symptoms, a rate that has more than doubled since 2002.
The causes of autism are a controversial subject. Some believe that these children are gifted with emotional clarity and insight that those of us have yet to develop, but others see it as an epidemic, which may be the result of a gamut of different factors.

What are the Causes?

Scientists first thought that autism was simply genetic, but environment has been proven to contribute significantly to the disease, not unlike other health issues that are triggered by toxin exposure, diet, and lifestyle choices.
Developing embryos and infants are much more sensitive to environmental toxins and vaccines, for example, than are adults. The hormonal system can be tipped out of balance quite easily in a developing child, and endocrine disruptors such as pesticides, herbicides, bromides, phthalates, and controversial vaccine adjuvants like thimerosal are also likely culprits.
When you add these toxins to radiation exposure, or a poor diet full of toxic food, then a developing child is going to have a hard time expressing the full potential of his DNA – even with ‘good’ genes.  The truth is that our children are being hit from all sides by toxic compounds that our governments have repeatedly ignored, suppressed information on, or even promoted with blind abandon.
Last year, autism advocates practically begged Congress to do more research on the causes of autism due to its incredible rise in frequency, but those arguments seemed to fall on deaf ears. You can see the video here.
Members of Congress criticized the NIH and CDC for lack of research, as well as disclosure on the true safety of vaccines. Parents with children who have developed autism or autism-like symptoms are steadfast in their belief that vaccinations are a large part of the overall problem. However, due to the Freedom of Information Act, documents were uncovered in the UK that told a different story – that the CDC and other government agencies knew that vaccines were dangerous, and gave them a rubber stamp anyway. It’s controversial, but worth looking into.
These documents point to over 30 years of cover up about this issue. The CDC even tried to say that some of the documents requested were ‘non-existent.’ Perhaps they were referring to their transparency on the subject of autism and vaccines, instead.
A possible answer is that the CDC already knows what is causing the rise in autism, and they don’t want to disclose the truth to the masses. What do you think?

If you want to gauge how government will respond to the Ebola epidemic, look no further than the response to Hurricane Katrina.
The media likes to say massive and unprecedented government negligence during Katrina was the fault of “policy failures.”
The Department of Homeland Security, according to Robert Block in Disaster: Hurricane Katrina and the Failure of Homeland Security, was purportedly designed as a response to terrorism, not natural disaster.
It can be argued, however, that the DHS is in effect a massive boondoggle, yet another specialty of government – establishing lumbering bureaucracies designed to enrich corporate partners and further governmental agendas, in the case of DHS establishing a domestic secret police (there is ample evidence, primarily after the fall of a misguided Occupy movement, that the DHS, in collaboration with the FBI and the CIA, routinely work to undermine any serious political challenge to the establishment).
In the aftermath of Katrina, government excelled at confiscating legal firearms, shooting unarmed civilians, and preventing firefighters and rescue workers from aiding victims.
Like DHS, FEMA was not established to help Americans during hurricanes, tornadoes and floods, but as a principal vehicle for martial law. “FEMA could not respond immediately to the Hurricane Katrina disaster — humanitarian efforts were no longer part of its job description under the Department of Homeland Security,” writes Allen Roland.
FEMA, in fact, worked to make sure victims of Katrina did not get assistance.
“Former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury, Paul Craig Roberts has agreed that FEMA has deliberately withheld aid, and cut emergency communication lines, and automatically made the crisis look worse in order to empower the image of a police state emerging to ‘save the day’. He even insinuated that the shoot to kill policy was part of the overall operation in order get an awful precedence set to aid the military industrial complex takeover of America,” writes Steve Watson.
The failure of government, or rather evidence of its real agenda, was demonstrated during Katrina, and yet millions of Americans persistently believe government will help them during the latest crisis, one that will likely overshadow Katrina and every other natural disaster.
Morgan Brittany believes the government may have orchestrated the Ebola crisis so it can institute martial law.
“My fear is that this has all been orchestrated from the very beginning. Who knows? Maybe the current administration needs this to happen so martial law can be declared, guns can be seized and the populace can be controlled. Once that happens … game over,” she wrote for WND earlier this week.
Whether or not the feds orchestrated the Ebola crisis, they will certainly use it to enhance and strengthen their power over the American people. The federal government will portray itself as a savior and this false image will be dutifully echoed by the propaganda media.
Considering the leverage the corporate media has over the public despite inroads made by alternative and truth media, it is not surprising 40 percent of Americans, at least according to a corporate poll, actually believe the government can save them.

Has the endgame been revealed on the Ebola outbreak?
Two days ago, Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the U.S. National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases , told The Canadian Press that it’s “quite conceivable, if not likely” that fast-tracked Ebola vaccines may have to given to entire countries to get the viral outbreak under control (via Modern Healthcare ):

It is conceivable that this epidemic will not turn around even if we pour resources into it. It may just keep going and going and it might require a vaccine.

As the epidemic gets more and more formidable and in some cases out of control it is quite conceivable, if not likely, that we may need to deploy the vaccine to the entire country to be able to shut the epidemic down. That is clearly a possibility. [emphasis added]

The article did not specify which country in particular Dr. Fauci — whose institute just so happens to be currently working on an experimental Ebola vaccine (the first to begin human clinical trials) with Big Pharma giant GlaxoSmithKline — was referring to. Was he talking specifically about Sierra Leone? Liberia? Guinea? Any place where Ebola has taken hold? The entire continent of Africa? Other countries, should it break out there including Spain or America?
The prospects of “countrywide” vaccination for Ebola with a rushed-to-market vaccination are absolutely horrifying.
Recall that some 800 children in Europe are now suffering narcolepsy thanks to the rushed swine flu vaccine . Daisy Luther of The Organic Prepper wrote :

Some people may say, “Oh, that was an experimental drug, rushed to market to fight an epidemic.”

The thing is, if you look at it that way, every flu vaccine is “experimental”.  Each year’s batch contains something different, because it has to be ever-evolving as viruses mutate. Despite this, people are terrified and guilted into receiving the vaccine. If the fear factor doesn’t work, they are forced to take it in order to work, go to school, or stay at daycare.

That’s not to mention a 4,250% increase in fetal deaths linked to the shot when given to pregnant women as well, amounting to thousands of miscarriages among a lovely menagerie of other awful adverse events.
And for what? What was revealed later to be a global hoax tied to grand financial motives, as Aaron Dykes reported back in 2010:

Drug firms collaborated with WHO officials to deliberately create a “campaign of panic” and a ‘false disaster’ over swine flu pandemic fears when one was not evident, top European health official Wolfgang Wodarg has indicated.

Wolfgang Wodarg, head of health at the Council of Europe, claims that the threshold for alert was deliberately lowered at the WHO, allowing a “pandemic” to be declared despite the mildness of the ‘swine flu.’ That designation would force a demand for the vaccine, which was subsequently purchased by governments or health facilities and pushed on the public through a full-scale fear campaign in the media.

Rest assured that whatever Ebola vaccine they come up with now will be even that much more rushed than the N1H1 vax. Why rushed?
As Truthstream Media reported , check out what Dr. Ben Neuman told Bloomberg this past summer in an interview on why no vaccine for Ebola currently exists:

It’s not just one drug we need for Ebola. We need a cocktail of drugs and perhaps a nice vaccine that could be used… These all take a lot of money and right now in the history of what we know at least, there have been fewer than 5,000 people who have been infected with Ebola. It sounds scary, but I don’t know that there’s enough…uh…panic or enough people who are potential customers for these drugs to warrant a company — a private company anyway — putting the money it would take to develop this.[emphasis added]

Well there is definitely enough panic now, wouldn’t you say?
Dave Hodges , over at The Common Sense Show, has already penned an article demonstrating how the CDC has positioned themselves to profit financially should Ebola spread throughout the U.S.:

The CDC has ulterior motives in the diagnosing and subsequent treatment of Ebola. First of all, the CDC is traded on Dunn and Bradstreet. This fact makes the CDC a for profit corporation.Secondly, and as I have pointed out before, the CDC owns the patent on Ebola and all variances up to 70% of the variance. This means that because the CDC owns Ebola, they will receive a royalty every time a treatment is provided because of the alteration of their intellectual property rights.

These two facts mean that if the CDC moved to block the spread of Ebola, they would cut into their profit motive.  On this point, there can be no argument. Are we supposed the humanitarian nature that the CDC would forgo their profit motive in order to serve the public good? Should we trust the CDC? What are the implications?

That might explain why the CDC is so against banning air travel from West Africa and even continues to change its basic stance on how the virus is even spread .
The World Health Organization’s latest figures on the current outbreak show that over 8,000 people have been diagnosed with Ebola as of October 5th, and nearly 4,000 people have now died .
Either way, I think I can speak safely for the staff here at The Daily Sheeple (as well as Activist Post - Ed. ): we will not be rolling up our sleeves for any nationwide Ebola vaccination program any time not just soon, but ever .

The numerous violations of disease protocol surrounding the Dallas, Texas Ebola case are intentional, according to an emergency response manager.

The manager, who was involved in the emergency response to both Hurricane Katrina and Rita in addition to planning for small pox outbreaks, said the official response to the first diagnosed case of Ebola in the United States purposely avoided the basic actions the government would take to prevent a virus from spreading.
“The reason I know the Ebola outbreak is being conducted on purpose is because it violates all protocol,” he said.
The violations of protocol are almost too numerous to mention. For one thing, government officials were slow to decontaminate the apartment of Thomas Eric Duncan, the 40-year-old Liberian national who was the first diagnosed case of Ebola in the U.S.
Before the apartment was sanitized, however, five Dallas Co. sheriff’s deputies were ordered to enter the unit without protective gear to remove Duncan’s family members who were placed under quarantine.
Dallas Co. Sheriff’s Association President Christopher Dyer said the deputies were uncomfortable with the order.
“They’re very concerned,” Dyer said to WFAA 8. ‎”Their families are concerned. You’ve got to go home and tell your spouse, ‘Hey, I was just inside this house where a guy had Ebola.’”
The workers who were ordered to clean the sidewalk where Duncan vomited were also not wearing protective clothing, despite the fact that Ebola spreads through bodily fluids.
And, like Duncan’s apartment, officials were slow to decontaminate the ambulance which transported Duncan to the hospital, meaning that the homeless man who was transported in the ambulance after Duncan was potentially exposed to the disease.
The Obama administration also refused to ban travelers from Ebola-stricken African nations from entering the U.S., which allowed Duncan to fly to Dallas.
“The fact that [Ebola] being allowed to travel into the United States is insane and the fact that emergency operations have not been activated is insane and this is on purpose and by design,” the emergency response manager stated. “There are many competent people in the CDC, the military and emergency management officers who need to blow the whistle.”
“They’re being ordered to stand down from the top.”
A former CIA officer, Robert David Steele, warned of an Ebola false flag a few weeks before Duncan’s diagnosis.
