It
has been said a bad deed brings new evils. It is like that in the
world. Behind what seems to be the unexplained or even truly bizarre
lurks grains of truth. When illuminated they shine like beacons. They
verify the sordid results of man's lust for money, power and control.
There are classic means to eliminate a high profile individual who has
strayed beyond his duties to stay submissive to the dark side. It is
like that with the loss of AirAsia Flight QZ8501.
In
any complex problem there is frequently a key piece of information that
settles the matter to the most logical conclusion. There was one
English passenger on Flight 8501. He was Chi Man Choi. He was the
Managing Director of Alstom Power a hydro company that has settled the largest bribery case
in U.S. history $772 million. They were accused of bribing officials in
numerous countries including Indonesia. Saudi Arabia and Egypt are also
on the list. Two officers of the company were charged in the UK by the
Serious Fraud Office. It appears business was quite profitable.
It
appears a serious whack order was issued. Everyone was in the know at
the upper echelons. There were many late arrivals for Flight 8501. They
included relatives of the influential in Indonesia. Christianawati Putro
Cahyono and her family of ten were fortunate to miss the night flight to paradise. Perhaps having a police general for a relative brings good karma.
Christianawati Putro Cahyono and her extended family (top left) had been looking forward to a trip Singapore with AirAsia
Not to be outdone Chandra Susanto, from Surabaya was scheduled to fly to Singapore
on Flight 8051 with his wife and three children. They cancelled the
trip the day before. What an amazing stroke of luck. They thanked God.
However, it appears a relative has a senior position in the navy. He may
have been closer to God than many other relatives. Perhaps they
listened to the mysterious Chinese blogger that warned people to shun Malaysian Airlines and AirAsia altogether.
Mr
Susanto was scheduled to fly with his wife Inge and three children,

Not to be outdone AirAsia CEO Tan Sri Tony Fernandes sold 944,800 shares in Tune Insurance Holdings Bhd. 850,000 shares were sold Dec. 22nd. The
rest the day after the crash. Timing is everything they say.
It
would seem to appear the old TCB (taking care of business) was afoot.
That's jail house slang for murder. Let that be a lesson in paying fines
to bribe governments. It won't be tolerated. As the band Nazareth sang
should not have gone on this flight tonight.
You’ll Never Guess What Every Mass Shooting Has In Common, And It Isn’t Weapons ~ hehe don't worry folks Big Farm~AH ..will cum up wit a "pill" for this ? Oops :o
Whenever gun crimes are perpetrated, liberals love to
point the finger of blame at law-abiding gun owners, but a list of mass
shooters from the past 20 years proves that they all had one thing in
common – and it wasn’t the weapons used. Evidence shows that the common factor in nearly every mass shooting
is that all of the perpetrators were either actively taking powerful psychotropic drugs or had been taking them at one point before committing their crimes. Multiple credible scientific studies going back more then a decade,
as well as internal documents from certain pharmaceutical companies that
suppressed the information show that SSRI drugs ( Selective Serotonin
Re-Uptake Inhibitors ) have well known, but unreported side effects,
including but not limited to suicide and other violent behavior. One
need only Google relevant key words or phrases to see for themselves. www.ssristories.com
is one popular site that has documented over 4500 “ Mainstream Media “
reported cases from around the World of aberrant or violent behavior by
those taking these powerful drugs, according to the Liberty Crier. The extensive list shows how psychotropic drugs are linked in every case of murder and suicide:
Eric Harris age 17 (first on Zoloft then Luvox) and Dylan Klebold
aged 18 (Columbine school shooting in Littleton, Colorado), killed 12
students and 1 teacher, and wounded 23 others, before killing
themselves. Klebold’s medical records have never been made available to
the public.
Jeff Weise, age 16, had been prescribed 60 mg/day of Prozac (three times the average starting dose for adults!) when he shot his grandfather, his grandfather’s girlfriend and many fellow students at Red Lake, Minnesota. He then shot himself. 10 dead, 12 wounded.
Cory Baadsgaard, age 16, Wahluke (Washington state) High School, was on Paxil (which caused him to have hallucinations) when he took a rifle to his high school and held 23 classmates hostage. He has no memory of the event.
Chris Fetters, age 13, killed his favorite aunt while taking Prozac.
Christopher Pittman, age 12, murdered both his grandparents while taking Zoloft.
Mathew Miller, age 13, hung himself in his bedroom closet after taking Zoloft for 6 days.

they slept then went to school and opened fire killing 2 classmates and
injuring 22 shortly after beginning Prozac treatment.
Luke Woodham, age 16 (Prozac) killed his mother and then killed two students, wounding six others.
A boy in Pocatello, ID (Zoloft) in 1998 had a Zoloft-induced seizure that caused an armed stand off at his school.
Michael Carneal (Ritalin), age 14, opened fire on students at a high
school prayer meeting in West Paducah, Kentucky. Three teenagers were
killed, five others were wounded..
A young man in Huntsville, Alabama (Ritalin) went psychotic chopping
up his parents with an ax and also killing one sibling and almost
murdering another.
Andrew Golden, age 11, (Ritalin) and Mitchell Johnson, aged 14,
(Ritalin) shot 15 people, killing four students, one teacher, and
wounding 10 others.
TJ Solomon, age 15, (Ritalin) high school student in Conyers, Georgia opened fire on and wounded six of his class mates.
Rod Mathews, age 14, (Ritalin) beat a classmate to death with a bat.
James Wilson, age 19, (various psychiatric drugs) from Breenwood,
South Carolina, took a .22 caliber revolver into an elementary school
killing two young girls, and wounding seven other children and two
teachers.
Elizabeth Bush, age 13, (Paxil) was responsible for a school shooting in Pennsylvania
Jason Hoffman (Effexor and Celexa) – school shooting in El Cajon, California
Jarred Viktor, age 15, (Paxil), after five days on Paxil he stabbed his grandmother 61 times.
Chris Shanahan, age 15 (Paxil) in Rigby, ID who out of the blue killed a woman.
Jeff Franklin (Prozac and Ritalin), Huntsville, AL, killed his parents as they came home from work using a sledge hammer, hatchet, butcher knife and mechanic’s file, then attacked his younger brothers and sister.
Neal Furrow (Prozac) in LA Jewish school shooting reported to have
been court-ordered to be on Prozac along with several other medications.
Kevin Rider, age 14, was withdrawing from Prozac when he died
from a gunshot wound to his head. Initially it was ruled a suicide, but
two years later, the investigation into his death was opened as a
possible homicide. The prime suspect, also age 14, had been taking
Zoloft and other SSRI antidepressants.
Alex Kim, age 13, hung himself shortly after his Lexapro prescription had been doubled.
Diane Routhier was prescribed Welbutrin for gallstone problems. Six
days later, after suffering many adverse effects of the drug, she shot
herself.
Billy Willkomm, an accomplished wrestler and a University of Florida
student, was prescribed Prozac at the age of 17. His family found him
dead of suicide – hanging from a tall ladder at the family’s Gulf Shore
Boulevard home in July 2002.
Kara Jaye Anne Fuller-Otter, age 12, was on Paxil when she hung
herself from a hook in her closet. Kara’s parents said “…. the damn
doctor wouldn’t take her off it and I asked him to when we went in on
the second visit. I told him I thought she was having some sort of
reaction to Paxil…”)
Gareth Christian, Vancouver, age 18, was on Paxil when he committed suicide in 2002,
(Gareth’s father could not accept his son’s death and killed himself.)
Julie Woodward, age 17, was on Zoloft when she hung herself in her family’s detached garage.
Matthew Miller was 13 when he saw a psychiatrist because he was
having difficulty at school. The psychiatrist gave him samples of
Zoloft. Seven days later his mother found him dead, hanging by a belt
from a laundry hook in his closet.
Kurt Danysh, age 18, and on Prozac, killed his father with a shotgun. He is now behind prison bars, and writes letters, trying to warn the world that SSRI drugs can kill.
Woody ____, age 37, committed suicide while in his 5th week of
taking Zoloft. Shortly before his death his physician suggested doubling
the dose of the drug. He had seen his physician only for insomnia. He
had never been depressed, nor did he have any history of any mental illness symptoms.
A boy from Houston, age 10, shot and killed his father after his Prozac dosage was increased.
Hammad Memon, age 15, shot and killed a fellow middle school student. He had been diagnosed with ADHD and depression and was taking Zoloft and “other drugs for the conditions.”
Matti Saari, a 22-year-old culinary student, shot and killed 9
students and a teacher, and wounded another student, before killing
himself. Saari was taking an SSRI and a benzodiazapine.
Steven Kazmierczak, age 27, shot and killed five people and wounded
21 others before killing himself in a Northern Illinois University
auditorium. According to his girlfriend, he had recently been taking Prozac, Xanax and Ambien. Toxicology results showed that he still had trace amounts of Xanax in his system.
Finnish gunman Pekka-Eric Auvinen, age 18, had been taking
antidepressants before he killed eight people and wounded a dozen more
at Jokela High School – then he committed suicide.
Asa Coon from Cleveland, age 14, shot and wounded four before taking his own life. Court records show Coon was on Trazodone.
Jon Romano, age 16, on medication for depression, fired a shotgun at a teacher in his
New York high school.

Busted: AirAsia CEO Tony Fernandes dumped 944,800 shares 1 Day Before Flight Disappeared (Video)
AirAsia CEO Tony Fernandes dumped 944,800 shares in Tune Insurance Holdings Bhd, the organization that provides travel insurance for AirAsia passengers, just days before the disappearance of Flight QZ8501.
The day the airline disappeared, the stock fell by 7%, do you believe in coincidences?
As you will see in the video below Dabooh7 confirms these actions. This is no different than on the days prior to 911, when Airline stock options, Banks and insurance companies saw very unusual trading action before the planes flew into the World Trade Center (Twin Towers).
Exposed! AirAsia CEO Sold 944,800 Shares In Tune Insurance Before Flight Vanished!
On December 26, the Malaysian Insider reported that Fernandes, the founder of Tune Group Sdn Bhd which owns AirAsia, had sold a total of 944,800 shares in Tune Insurance Holdings Bhd, with 850,000 shares being dumped on December 22, and the other 94,800 being sold the day after.
According to its official website, Tune Insurance Holdings Bhd is “an insurance product manager” for AirAsia in which “insurance products are sold to (AirAsia) customers as part of their online booking process.”
The share prices of AirAsia and Tune Insurance Holdings both fell on the first day of trading after the disappearance of Flight QZ8501, with the former shedding 12.9 percent at one point. Tune Insurance Holdings lost 0.6%.
Fernandes decision to dump the shares less than a week before AirAsia Flight QZ8501 disappeared over the Java Sea prompted some to speculate that he may have had prior knowledge of the incident.
“Did Fernandes know his company stock was about to take a hit? The timing is suspicious,”asks Heavy.com, adding, “If so, it indicates knowledge of an impending attack on AirAsia.”
The International Business Times
adds that the move has prompted many to voice the theory that
Fernandes, “possibly knew about an impending attack on one of the
company’s aircraft.”
The story bears some similarity to the unusual market activity in airline stocks that preceded the September 11, 2001 terror attacks. An “extraordinary” amount of ‘put options’ – speculation that a stock price will fall – were placed on United and American Airlines in the days leading up to 9/11.
Some say the posts, which were
made on Chinese social media site Weibo, are a startling indication of
prior knowledge whereas others claim the posts were deceptively edited
after the crash of Flight QZ8501 to create the impression that its
disappearance had been predicted ahead of time.
It will be interesting to see a list of passengers that were on board.
There are those who feel the New World Order has been using these missing airlines to take their key people underground before the main event happens above ground.
MH370 had around 20 key electrical engineers on board and “Four days after the missing flight MH370 a patent is approved by the Patent Office, four of the five Patent holders are Chinese employees of Freescale Semiconductor of Austin TX.
MH17 was allegedly shot down while carying 100 top scientist
on their way to a AIDS convention Melbourne Australia, the question is
why did 100 top scientist from all around the world first fly to
Malaysia to board a plane, instead of just all flying to Melbourne Au from the countries they lived and worked in?
What do you think? Is this some
kind of great conspiracy or just coincidence? One more question before
you draw your conclusion, how many missing airlines were there before 2014? Can you name one?

CIA’s Serial Criminal Behavior Puts Every American At Risk
Democrats And Republicans Share Responsibility For CIA Crimes Against Humanity ~ (ALL AMERICANS SHARE) ~ "we" made a pact wit the devil folks & since after WWII ... looks like America has/is turned into ....nazi land Huh ,whats that saying if it walks like a duck & ????????? EVERY American cit should B FORCED to READ that "report" ... is THIS really what we've become & looks like the "chickens/nazi's" r cum~in home to roost [4] CIA was formed by absorbing in secret almost the entire Nazi war criminal infrrastructure
The preceding headlines appeared at The Huffington Post on Tuesday,
December 9, 2014. This day will forever be remembered as the day the CIA
was outed once and for all. Outed for only a small fraction of its
countless crimes against humanity.
To call the CIA a rogue agency is to grossly understate the massive,
multi-decade crime spree it has perpetrated against the community of
nations and people of the world. There is no other federal department,
bureau or agency that has overtly been given both the budget and
governmental approval to commit capital crimes at will.
From the assassination of heads of state to the mass murder of
innocents in foreign lands; from torture to kidnapping; from false flag
attacks on civilian targets to drone missile strikes on wedding parties;
from extraordinary rendition to black site prisons, the list of odious
crimes goes on … and on … and on. The CIA always does it their own way,
without regard to law or statute, rule or regulation, ethics or
morality. Truly, the Central Intelligence Agency is the ultimate
example of state-sponsored terrorism, government-sanctioned criminality
and bureaucratic lawlessness.
How does The Company (aka the CIA) get away with it
After all, whatever black operations are not performed under cover of
black budgets, are necessarily conducted with US tax dollars and in our
name. Do we really want to know what manner of CIA-fabricated plots
have been conducted in our name?
The answer is simple: The taxpayer has a moral and civic obligation
to know how their tax remittances are being used to kill, maim and
torture people abroad and at home. Not to know represents a tacit
approval of such reprehensible and savage behavior. Once the citizen
pays for an assassination or kidnapping, that is perpetrated in the name
of the United States of America, there is ownership whether you want it
or not.
Similarly, if you regularly vote for a political leader who is a
known war criminal, and then he goes out and commits genocide, guess who
is also responsible for the suffering associated with that genocide?
How is it that so many voters misunderstand or are ignorant of this
crucial element of civic responsibility?!
For instance, every person who voted for Barack Obama the second time around knew that he earned the right to be called the Drone Ranger,
a CIA pet project if ever there was one. When he continued the killing
spree by drone in his second term, his many supporters inherited the
“karma” in light of their foreknowledge. Hey, just know that that karma
really bites when you least expect it.
The following list of headings just appeared in a single article
which conveys some of the more abhorrent CIA conduct against living
humanity. ‘Well Worn’ Waterboards Near Drowning The Dungeon-Like ‘Salt Pit’ Standing on Broken Legs Non-stop Interrogation Forced Rectal Feeding and Worse Lost Detainees Threats to Mothers Sexual Assault by Interrogators

Just what does a CIA Horror Show really look like? After
all, unless the American people take a close look at what is being done
around the world — 24/7 — in their name and with their tax dollars, it
will continue ad infinitum. So at the risk of alienating some in our
readership, here are a couple of links which capture exactly what our
illustrious CIA performs on our behalf. Photos from CIA Torture and GITMO CIA Torture Pics Here’s another rather extended headline with key bullet points from a major daily in the UK (Mail Online).
Where does the nation go from here?
With this damning and indisputable information now in the hands of
every American it is critical that an appropriate and measured response
be taken. Not to address the ongoing atrocities and barbarity, misdeeds
and wrongdoings, excesses and indiscretions of the CIA only perpetrates
such a cycle of institutionalized criminality.
Therefore, perhaps it is time to go back to the very roots of this
depraved organization in order to ascertain why it should ever exist in
the first place. It’s last incarnation was called the OSS, the Office
of Strategic Services.
“The Office of Strategic Services was a United States
intelligence agency formed during World War II. It was the wartime
intelligence agency, and a predecessor of the Central Intelligence
Agency.”[1]
Their real problems began at the OSS when Operation Paperclip
was allowed to run its course. This misguided initiative, although it
may have had reasonable intentions, was designed to fail miserably.
Here’s the cover story before we provide the not-so-well-known
backstory.
“Operation Paperclip was the Office of Strategic
Services (OSS) program in which over 1,500 German scientists,
technicians, and engineers from Nazi Germany and other foreign countries
were brought to the United States for employment in the aftermath
of World War II.[1] It was conducted by
the Joint Intelligence Objectives Agency (JIOA), and in the context of
theburgeoning Cold War. One purpose of Operation Paperclip was to deny
German scientific expertise and knowledge to theSoviet Union[2] and the United Kingdom,[3] as well as inhibiting post-war Germany from redeveloping its military research capabilities.”[2]
On the face of it this plan seems to have had an important objective;
however, it also came with a HUGE catch. Their were certain rogue
elements and intelligence assets which came from Nazi Germany along with
the “1500 German scientists, technicians, and engineers”. One of those
characters was Reinhard Gehlen, a true Nazi operative if ever there was
one.
“Gehlen had always been under the sponsorship of US Army
G-2 (intelligence), but he eventually succeeded in realizing his
ambition of establishing an association with the Central Intelligence
Agency (CIA), established in 1947. The CIA kept close tabs on the Gehlen
group. For many years during the Cold War, Org agents were the only
eyes and ears of the CIA on the ground in the Soviet Bloc nations.”[3]
So determined was Gehlen to associate with the Central Intelligence
Agency that extraordinary measures — at the very highest levels of the
US Government — were taken to ensure that that marriage took place. And
so it did in the form of the Gehlen Organization. In the
ultra-secret circles where military and civilian intelligence
organizations intersect, it is understood that this particular
association created an environment whereby many of the worst tactics and
techniques from Nazi Germany found there way into common use throughout
the CIA. Nazi Infiltration Of The Central Intelligence Agency
The depth and breadth of the CIA’s appropriation of so much of the
Nazi war criminal infrastructure and apparatus[4] is not well understood
by many, even by those initiated in the upper echelons of the military
intelligence and secret services. The tradeoffs and compromises that
were necessarily made during the transitional absorption of Nazi
personnel and assimilation of German knowhow were simply too radioactive
(read: highly classified) for anyone to know except those very few
privileged decision-makers at the top of the OSS leadership.
Therein lies the root cause for so much of what is profoundly wrong
with the CIA. A glaring example of just how wrong things would go is
the highly consequential case of Allen W. Dulles, the first civilian
director of the CIA. Dulles was fired by John F. Kennedy shortly after
the CIA-coordianted Bay of Pigs fiasco. The whole top tier of the CIA
was immediately relieved of their duties for their blatant
insubordination. Nevertheless, Dulles was determined to get even with
JFK. And he did, before and after LBJ appointed him to the Warren
Commission.
“During the Kennedy Administration, Dulles faced increasing criticism.[1] The
pro-American but unpopular regimes in Iran and Guatemala that Dulles
had helped put in place were widely regarded as brutal and corrupt.[22] In
autumn 1961, following the Bay of Pigs incident, Dulles and his
entourage, including Deputy Director for Plans Richard M. Bissell,
Jr. and Deputy Director Charles Cabell, were forced to resign.”[5]
There are now numerous reports which contain high integrity research
and authoritative investigations into the CIA’s direct involvement in
the assassination of John F. Kennedy. As a matter of fact, highly
credible evidence and testimony points directly to CIA planning,
implementation and coverup of JFK’s cold-blooded murder. Kennedy knew
that eventually someone at the highest levels of the CIA would commit
the egregious error of utilizing The Company for domestic
purposes. With the ignominious firing of the once all powerful Allen
Dulles, perhaps he even knew that he would be the first stateside
target.
Conclusion
When in the course of creating the U.S. National Security State the
CIA was chosen as the very foundation for the architecture, the whole
enterprise was set up for an inevitable and monumental failure. The
treasonous false flag attacks on 9/11 dramatically illustrated the
shortcomings of such a rogue agency, as did the traitorous assassination
of John F. Kennedy.
When the CIA will so boldly assassinate the President of the United States of America, what won’t they do, and get away with?!
The following video provides a rare glimpse of ex-CIA Director Allen
Dulles manipulating the media and controlling the Warren Commission
investigative process in Dallas in July of 1964. Only seeing is
believing what the CIA is truly capable of.

In 2014, the problem of police brutality forced itself to the
forefront of the national conversation following the brutal killing of
Americans at the hands of the police. This increased attention has been a
success for activists from all walks of life and for the well-being of
citizens. The problem of racism and police murders that involve it is
finally receiving widespread acknowledgment and opposition.
But as much as the issue of police abuse needs attention, it remains
that injustice in America permeates layers of society that transcend law
enforcement, race, and problems of direct violence against citizens.
Rather, police brutality is a symptom of much deeper decay in the
concept and system of “justice” in the United States. As much as
murderous cops escaping punishment is outrageous, here are other
travesties that occurred in 2014:
The Senate attempted to stifle the free speech of
any journalist it did not define as “press,” calling the bill a
protection of the first amendment. Most of Congress cheered Israel on
from June through the summer while it pummeled Gaza. They authorized hundreds of millions in material support. At the end of the summer, President Obama began illegally bombing Syria while drone attacks exposed for killing civilians and children continued.
In just the time since the non-indictment of Darren Wilson, the government has committed a litany of offenses: it stole 2400 acres of Apache native lands to give to a foreign mining company that had been lobbying Congress for a decade. The FDA approved an addictive painkiller to combat addiction to painkillers. Congress moved to invalidate the electoral vote in Washington D.C. that legalized marijuana. It further enabled the NSA to spy on Americans in spite of empty rhetoric promising reform.
Naturally, lawmakers continued the state of perpetual war by renewing the military funding bill, the National Defense
Authorization Act (where it gave away the Apache lands). It still guarantees the government’s right to indefinitely detain Americans without trial and it can still torture non-Americanshowever it likes.
All of these cruel, violative, and often violent instances prove that “justice,” which is supposed to mean “moral
rightness,” is as dead as unarmed black men at the hands of police in
America. But within the so-called “justice system,” there are more
flagrant, direct examples of this lack of justice:
The government, via the IRS and DOJ, is authorized to confiscate the life savings of
law-abiding Americans who are not suspected of crimes. There is little
redress for the robbery committed against them (cops are also guilty of stealing possessions under
the shelter of the DOJ). At the same time, the IRS directly funds
tangible, violent crimes by federally funding murderous police and
military. Further, banks tied to illegal money laundering for drug cartels (a clearly illegal action) are given what amount to slaps on the wrist.
Take the problem of dogs murdered by police.
While individuals who harm police dogs are viciously charged with
assaulting an officer and sent to jail for decades, it is a rare
occurrence to see a cop reprimanded for murdering a dog while on duty.
In some cases cops have been put on paid leave, but police are rarely
charged for killing family pets. The same can be said for a civilian
killing a cop versus a cop killing an unarmed civilian: to kill a cop is
capital punishment. To kill a civilian is a paid vacation and maybe some bad press for police.
At this discrepancy rages on, non-violent individuals are thrown in
jail for possessing marijuana (fortunately in 2014, the tide began to
turn) while pharmaceutical companies that produce lethal pills are not
only emboldened by the FDA, but free from punishment in court.
While the government spies on all American citizens, collects their data, and cops create “threat ratings” based on social media posts,
there is zero transparency on the part of the state. On multiple occasions the DOJ has argued in court to keep documents sealed.
It took years for the government to release the legal “justification” for the president’s kill list. It did so only when pressed.
2014 made it clear that there is not only an utterly destroyed sense of justice in the United States, but that the justice system in particular is a sham.
While the problem of racist police forces and more systemically,
universally violent cops (whose violence affects people of all colors
more and more each day) is absolutely necessary to discuss, it is
important not to forget the system that enabled such problems in the
first place. Police are the enforcement class of the government and the
more power a government exercises, the more power their foot soldiers
will, as well.
This fact demonstrates that stopping police brutality will not solve
the much deeper problems of corrupt institutions. Even if all racial
profiling, police brutality and corruption were stopped, the justice
system would still destroy lives. It will still favor the elites and war
mongers.
In 2015, the fight against police injustice must continue. But that
fight must not forget the multitude of other ways that justice is
trampled.
In fact, if the system is allowed to continue, any small,
superficial wins made in the fight against brutality will surely be
reversed at the hands of a government whose foundational power is never
questioned. This article is free and open source. You have permission to republish this article under a Creative Commons license with attribution to the author and TheAntiMedia.org. Tune-in to The Anti-Media radio show Monday-Friday @ 11pm EST, 8pm PST.

The US as a nation consumes more than anyone else, virtually at
the expense of everyone else. The petrodollar system has ensured that
imports into the US have been cheap and readily available. Post 1945,
Washington has been able to take full advantage of the labour and the
material resources of poor countries. Consider that ‘developing’ nations account for more than 80 percent
of world population but consume only about a third of the world’s
energy. Also bear in mind that US citizens constitute 5 percent of the
world’s population but consume 24 percent of the world’s energy. On
average, one American consumes as much energy as two Japanese, six
Mexicans, 13 Chinese, 31 Indians, 128 Bangladeshis, 307 Tanzanians and
370 Ethiopians [1]. The US is able to consume the way it does because of high demand for
the US dollar: it is the world reserve currency. This demand for the
dollar is guaranteed as most international trade is carried out using
it. The international monetary system that emerged from the Bretton
Woods Conference near the end of the Second World War was based on the
US being the dominant economic power and the main creditor nation, with
institutions like the World Bank and International Monetary Fund
eventually being created to serve US interests. Ever since, the US has been able to lever the trade and financial
system to its advantage. For example, in the seventies the spike in the
price of oil allowed a huge flow of Saudi Arabia’s oil profits to
Washington through that country purchasing US treasury bonds. At the
same time, countries that were attempting to escape from the yolk of
European colonialism in Africa were hit hard by the rising cost of oil.
It was a win-win situation for Washington. The US could lend the
Saudi-invested oil profits to these cash-strapped nations and thus
ensure their continued servitude (especially when interest rates
increased), this time to Washington [2]. Despite the ongoing emergence of the BRICS and both Russia and China
conducting bilateral trade and energy deals in their own currencies, the
dollar retains a hold over the global monetary system, at least for the
time being. Once the dollar loses this role, the US economy will
experience a sharp decline and the cost of its imports will increase
markedly. How does the US try to avoid this? We can witness the answer to that
question all around. From Syria and Iraq to Ukraine and current attempts
to devastate the Russian economy, the powerful families and oligarchs
that control the US are trying to destroy their rivals, including any
attempt to move off the dollar. As a result, the prospect of nuclear war
involving the US and Russia (and China) is a real and immediate
concern. The only real alternative is to move away from militarism and
resource-driven conflicts by reorganising economies so that nations live
within their economic and environmental means. Key to this involves a
major reorientation regarding agriculture and food production. However, Monsanto and the agribusiness cartel it belongs to continues
to colonise areas of agriculture and offer ‘more of the same’ in terms
of being tied to a military-industrial complex that fuels an imperialist
US foreign policy. The ‘green revolution’ was exported courtesy of the
oil-rich Rockefeller family, and poorer nations adopted
petrochemical-dependent agriculture that required loans for inputs and
infrastructure such as dam building. This was underpinned by the
propaganda that these countries would earn dollars to repay the loans by
adopting mono-crop, export-oriented policies. It entailed uprooting
traditional agriculture and trapping nations into a globalised system of
debt bondage, structural adjustment of economies and rigged markets. It
ensured the dollar remained king. Although this system is responsible for producing poverty, dependency
and food insecurity [3], we are constantly informed that we must have
more of the same if we are to feed an increasing global population. We
are told that the solutions for feeding a projected world population of
nine billion are more technical fixes: more petrochemical-dependent
agriculture, more GMOs and more unnecessary shifting of food across the
planet. Of course, throw in a heavy dose of ‘family planning’
(depopulation) for the ‘third world’ and we will be just fine. Such solutions are based on the notion that we can just continue as
we are, with an endless supply of oil, endless supplies of meat and the
endless assault on soil, human and environmental well-being that
intensive petrochemical agriculture entails. This short sightedness
ignores the fact that oil will not last forever. Peak oil is on the
immediate horizon, resource-driven conflicts are increasing, water is
becoming scarcer, humans are becoming more ill due to the food
production process and soil is dying. The genuine answer is to adopt more organic and ecological farming
systems that are locally based and less reliant on mechanisation and
petrochemicals. This could also mean a shift away from an emphasis on
producing meat that places a massive burden on the environment and is
highly land, water and energy-input intensive [4]. Visit any supermarket in the US or Europe and there is an abundance
of meat and exotic fruits from around the globe. Western consumers have
been conditioned to expect this as the norm. What were once regarded as
luxuries before are now seen as necessities. People and nations must
return to being more self sufficient and not expect others in poorer
countries to produce their food: farmers who are robbed of their
capacity (their lands, seeds, markets, practices, food security, etc) to
properly feed themselves and their local communities. What we see on
those burgeoning supermarket shelves is often the result of structural
violence arising from neoliberal economic policies in food exporting
nations or outright violence arising from the forcible eviction of
people from their lands. What we also see is tampered with items pumped
with chemicals and hormones to boost profits. Consumers are also victims
in the modern food chain. Self-appointed purveyors of moral rectitude in politics and the
corporate media are often all too keen to castigate welfare recipients
within their own societies for being ‘spongers’ or ‘scroungers’, yet
their moralistic bleating fails to obscure the fact that foodstuffs in
their cupboards come courtesy of them sponging off the world’s poor and
destitute who receive a pittance for their agricultural labour or who
have now been forced to resort to rummaging on rubbish tips or begging
for a living [5]. The current exploitative economic system and the imperialist model of
globalisation and development suits the interests of Western oil and
banking oligarchs, land and commodity speculators, global agribusiness
and other power holders. People want solutions for hunger, poverty and
conflict but are too often told there is no alternative to what exists. There is. According to Daniel Maingi of Growth Partners for Africa,
the solution ultimately lies in taking capitalism and business out of
farming and investing in indigenous knowledge, agroecology, education
and infrastructure and standing in solidarity with the food sovereignty
movement [6]. In turn, this is based onrejecting big agritech’s current
agenda and resisting the US strategy of using agriculture as a
geopolitical tool. As is the case with Navdanya in India, it involves
challenging the corporate takeover of agriculture and embracing
sustainable agriculture that is locally owned and rooted in the needs of
communities [7]. (See here, here, here and here for some background information concerning the issues raised in this article.)
Many individuals are aware that biotech has developed a seed monopoly largely by patenting genetically modified organisms, but not everyone realizes that Monsanto tried to patent a tomato that had no biotech traits. Now, the European Patent Office (EPO), with help from an international coalition, No Patents on Seeds!, has revoked Monsanto’s fraudulent patent and claim to tomatoes that are naturally resistant to a fungal disease called botrytis.
These natural, non-GMO tomatoes,
like many healthy plants, have a natural resistance to certain pests.
In this case, a fungal disease, but this is not a novel phenomenon. Why
Monsanto would try to claim they created it is about as believable as
Syngenta or Dow saying they invented the sun.
Though plant breeders can help plants develop
this natural pest resistance, much of it is innate – the same as our
own immune systems. When individual plants reproduce, they pass along
exceptional combinations of genes to their offspring. Varying
environments (such as cold, or dry, moist or breezy) favor individuals
with different physical and behavioral traits. Individual plants with
genes that improve their survival will be more likely to pass along
these genes compared to the rest of the population. There is no genetic manipulation via biotech technologies. None is needed. Mother Nature is pretty smart like that.
Of course, if the soil is replete with organic,
non-industrial nutrients, the plants develop an even better immune
system, and more resilient, and then pass these traits on to their
progeny.
Though Monsanto has nothing at all to do with this process for a specific breed of tomato, they were able to get Patent EP1812575 –
which has now been revoked. The tomatoes used to obtain their
‘monopoly’ on another seed were obtained from a gene bank in
Gatersleben, Germany, and it was already common knowledge that these
plants had a desirable resistance to botrytis.
Monsanto’s clever lawyers created wording in their patent application
to give the impression that the seed was genetically engineered to
produce this quality. They made the tomato look their “invention.” This
is essentially biopiracy.
The revoking of this patent is important because it tells Monsanto
and other biotech companies that the world will not stand down to its
abuse of patent laws. It will also allow plant breeders and home
gardeners access to a larger variety of naturally resistant plants.
Christoph Then, a coordinator of No Patents on Seeds!, states:
“The intended resistance is based on complex genetic
conditions, which are not known in detail. So genetic engineering is
clearly not an option in this case.”
The coalition of No Patents on Seeds! has filed further oppositions
against patents held by the US company covering broccoli which can be
harvested mechanically (EP 1597965), melons that are resistant to plant
viruses (EP1962578), and a selection of plants for breeding soybeans (EP
2134870) adapted to climate change. Activists are calling on the European government to review the way patents are obtained by biotech,
and to make certain that existing prohibitions on plant patents is
observed. This, in turn, should make those who grow our food less
dependant on biotech creations, and more self-reliant, as more diverse
seed becomes available for planting.
Hundreds of plant and animal varieties that are the result of a
biological process and not GMO tinkering have been given patents by the
EPO, and over 2400 patents for genetically modified seeds have been given to Monsanto alone.
This single company controls more than 25 percent of the world seed
supply, and they aim to control more. We simply cannot let that happen.

“It is a riddle, wrapped in a
mystery, inside an enigma.” That memorable phrase came from the mouth
of Winston Churchill, during a speech he gave to the British Parliament
in 1939, when trying to describe Russian action.
Today, the characterization of Russia
holds no cloud of mystery and its motives are clear. Prince Charles and
Hilary Clinton have compared Russia’s President, Vladimir Putin, to
Adolf Hitler. President Obama has declared Russia one of the three major
threats that face the world today, along with the terrorist group ISIS
and the Ebola disease. And one only has to look to NATO’s twitter page
to find their animosity towards Russia. But is this hostility warranted?
An obvious “yes” would be said by anyone who accepts Western media as
honest, unbiased journalism when they report on Russia’s actions in
Ukraine and its involvement in that crisis.
But if one were to look beyond the
Western propaganda, and straight to the facts, one could reasonably
conclude that Russia, in a very sticky situation, has acted prudently
and sensibly. If this is the case, then why the hostility? Why the
propaganda? If one believes the illuminati is real — that this cult has a
long-term plan for the world, and has considerable influence over
Western governments, media and military organizations for which to
advance that agenda — then it’s likely that the true motive behind the
condemnation of Russia is because of Russia’s independence from this
group and their unwillingness to cooperate.
Ukraine Crisis
Like the majority of revolts and
revolutions throughout history, the crisis in Ukraine came about due
to poor economic conditions. Just before all hell broke loose, the
Ukrainian parliament held an important vote deciding whether to sign a
trade agreement with the European Union or the Russian Federation. They
ended up voting for Russia and this result angered many of the citizens
in the capital of Kiev and they took to the streets to protest. The
protest quickly escalated, as protestors begin clashing with police.
This uprising fed momentum to the opposition party, a right-wing
nationalist party who’s minions, a neo-fascist militant group called
‘Right Sector’, were the main instigators in clashing with the police. (1)
As the uprising worsened, the President
at the time, Viktor Yanukovych, conceded to the demands of the
opposition party and agreed to sign the trade agreement with the
European Union. But this wasn’t enough to satisfy the Right Sector
group, as they stormed the parliament building and overthrew the
government, with Yanukovych fleeing to Russia. (2) There
has always been tension between the Ukraine nationalists and ethnic
Russians living in Ukraine. The country used to be part of Russia, under
the old Soviet Union, so there are still many ethnic Russians living in
Ukraine. Seeing the government toppled by extreme nationalists, the
southernmost territory of the country, Crimea, began their paperwork to
legally separate from Ukraine and join Russia. The large majority of
people living in Crimea are ethnic Russians, who speak Russian and
identify themselves as Russian. So when the government of Crimea held a
referendum on whether to succeed to Russia or stay with Ukraine, the
citizens of Crimea overwhelmingly voted to join Russia, with over 96%
voting to do so. (3) This vote and result enraged much
of the Western world, as their leaders united in opposition against
Russia, accusing it of violating international law and threatening the
territorial integrity of Ukraine.
The issue whether Crimea should be
allowed to succeed from Ukraine comes down to property rights. Who owns
property and land? Is it the government or the people? Those who believe
in liberty, human rights and the right to property would argue that the
citizens of Crimea have the right to self-determination, and that the
referendum that the Crimean government held was absolutely legal under
law. The fact that there were Russian troops in Crimea was not a breach
of international law, considering that years before, Ukraine and Russia
had signed a treaty allowing Russian troops to be stationed in Crimea in
exchange for discounted gas. (4) Also, Yanukovych, the
legitimate leader of Ukraine, asked Russia for military support in
protecting the citizens after the coup. (5) And with
violent, neo-fascists — fashioning Nazi-like symbols on their uniforms,
and having ultranationalist, anti-Russian views — now in control of the
capital, how could Russia refuse to protect their brothers and sisters
in Crimea?
After witnessing the success of Crimea’s
referendum, territories in east Ukraine, such as Donesk and Luhansk,
started discussing plans to join Russia as well. (6) But
this was too much for the Ukrainian government to stomach, and so with
support from the West, they launched a war against the pro-Russian
separatists. Since day one, America has come out in support of the
coup that occurred in Ukraine and hailed it a success for freedom. Since
the beginning of the civil war with the Russian rebels, the U.S has
supplied Ukraine’s military and supported its newly found government in
taking decisive action against the rebels. And when the new president,
Poroshenko, immediately allowed foreigners to hold positions of office,
an American, Georgian and Lithuanian received positions in the Ukraine
government. (7) American Natalie Jaresko, former
employee of the U.S State Department and head of the Horizon
Capital Investment Fund, is now the new finance minister of Ukraine. (8)
The Attack On Russia
The hypocrisy America is showing by
condemning the actions of Russia has to be eroding what little
credibility America has left in the world. Here is a country that has
over 1000 military bases, in 130 countries and is directly involved in
the internal conflicts of 74 nations. (9) America’s imperialistic
foreign policy is incredibly ruthless and destructive all around the
world, but as soon as Russia gets involved with a conflict occurring in
its neighbouring country, America objects, and denounces Russia for
violating international law. Russia hasn’t violated international law,
but in a world where America is the loudest voice, it acts as both
accuser and judge.
Currently, the more prominent countries
that have placed sanctions on Russia are: the U.S, Canada, the Europe
Union, Japan, Australia and Switzerland. These sanctions on capital and
trade have hurt the Russian economy. By putting embargoes on Russia, it
has blocked Russians from exporting their goods to some of their closest
trading partners in Europe and the sanctions on their banks have
prevented them from accessing the credit markets of the West. Due to the
sanctions, the Russian rouble has steadily declined in value against
the dollar, raising the cost of imports, and thus raising consumer
prices.
But what turned the situation into a
full blown crises has been the recent, dramatic drop in the price of
oil. Russia’s major export is oil and gas, but with a barrel of oil
dropping below $60, this has cut into Russia’s revenue and because of
that, has hurt Russia’s economic viability. Due to the drop in oil
prices, speculation in the currency markets has the Russian rouble
tanking, losing 20% against the dollar in one day — its biggest single
day drop since Russia’s currency crisis of 1998 — and losing 60% on the
year. (10) This devaluation has led the Central Bank of
Russia to raise its interest rates to 17%, hoping to prevent more money
from leaving Russia. The substantial drop in the price of the most
important economic commodity doesn’t make much sense in a world where
the majority of governments are printing money. Some have suggested that
the U.S and Saudi Arabia are working together to drive down the price
of oil to hurt their respective adversaries, Russia and Iran. (11) Saudi Arabia has come out and said that they are prepared for $20, $30 or $40 prices. (12) And
thanks to investigative journalist, Matt Taibbi of Rolling Stone, we
know that any market can be subject to manipulation, by the colluding of
the major banks. (13) It wouldn’t be a stretch to
suggest that this recent drop is not the result of natural market forces
but of market manipulation, with the purpose of hurting Russia more
severely than the sanctions.
Recently, Russia’s foreign minister has come out and said that the West’s goal, with regards to Russia, is regime change. (14) The
recent sanctions bill signed by President Obama has in it the
authorization to spend $20 million in each of the next three years to
promote democracy, independent news media, uncensored internet access
and anti-corruption efforts in Russia. (15) This
provision has all the makings of a strategy to change Russia from
within, which has been a strategy America has employed in other
countries. (16) With the current economic crisis in
Russia, the time is ripe for America to meddle in Russia’s
domestic affairs and stir up protests with its people to try and oust
the current regime. But most threatening to Russia is NATO and their
military buildup on the boarders of Russia. With anti-ballistic missile
systems, troops on the ground and warships in the water, in the eastern
European countries that surround Russia, NATO is just waiting for an
excuse to attack Russia. (17) Each NATO country, such as Norway, Poland and Latvia, is in essence, NATO itself.
Russia’s Geopolitical Positions
Russia, on different occasions, has been
directly opposed to many of the West’s military action around the
world. Back in March of 2003, Russia declared it would use its veto
power, given to all member nations of the UN security council, to block a
U.S sponsored resolution that gave Saddam Hussein a March 17th deadline
to disarm before they took action. (18) Then a couple
weeks later, after the fighting began, President Putin warned the West
that they were making a grave mistake by “shaking the foundations of
global stability and international law.” (19) But in
Libya, Russia took a different approach and refrained from voting on the
resolution to create a no-fly zone in Libya. By not vetoing the UN
Security Council’s resolution, it was allowed to pass. A public dispute
over this decision broke out in Russia between, then President Dmitri
Medvedev and then Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, when Putin called the
resolution “deficient and flawed” and compared it to a medieval crusade.
(20) But since the President of Russia is the
Commander-In-Chief, Medvedev, at the time, was able to override Putin.
But Putin’s anger came to a boiling point after Gaddafi was killed. In a
official visit to Denmark, when asked about the situation in Libya he
said:
“The coalition said destroying
Gaddafi was not their goal. Then why bomb his palaces? Now some
officials have claim that eliminating him, was in fact, their goal. Who
gave them that right? Did he have a fair trial? Returning to the no-fly
zone, the bombings are destroying the country’s entire infrastructure.
When the so called ‘civilized world’ uses all its military power against
a small country, destroying what’s been created by generations, I don’t
know if that’s good.” (21)
Putin returned to the presidency in
2012, and a year later, when the U.S and Britain were calling for
airstrikes against Syria, he made sure Russia didn’t make the same
mistake twice, and the country strongly came out against the airstrikes,
and this time, together with China, vetoed the resolution. Putin even
wrote an op-ed piece in the New York Times, taking his case directly to
the American people as for why the airstrikes were a bad idea. (22)
Russia Today
Russia Today is the state sponsored news
network that has gained a loyal following based on the networks ability
to broadcast the real news to English, Spanish and Arabic audiences
around the globe. The stories that are covered are the critical events
happening in our world, but also other important subjects that aren’t
covered by the mainstream media. Covering stories relating to scandal,
corruption and conspiracy, revealing true motives of the people or
institutions involved, has led the network to gain its
credibility. Subjects on financial corruption, power abuses, corporate
misconduct, environmental concerns, and many others that are seen as too
sensitive to the special interests that own traditional networks, to be
broadcast on Western media.
Edward Snowden
The famous NSA contractor turned
whistleblower, Edward Snowden, would face the full wrath of the U.S
government, if given the chance, for his role in revealing to the world
the U.S government’s capacity for spying and exactly who they are spying
on. What’s preventing this from happening is that Snowden is currently
being protected by Russia, where he has been given a 3-year residency
after his initial temporary asylum had expired after his first year
staying in Russia. The Russians are refusing to give him up to the U.S
government after being asked to do so multiple times. Snowden never
planned on staying in Russia. His original plan was to stay in Hong Kong
until they gave him up, and then he decided he would go to Latin
America. But after the U.S government revoked his passport, while he was
in Russia, and seeing how the plane of the Bolivian President was
forced to land due to the U.S government’s suspicion that Snowden was on
it, he decided staying in Russia was his best option. (23)
Winter Olympics
The Winter Olympic games that were held
in Sochi this year were very important to Russia. The Soviet Union
collapsed in 1991 and since then Russia has had to rebuild its country
from the ground up. In the early years, it was very bleak for Russians,
as living standards dropped for many and inflation rose substantially,
and corruption and lawlessness spread throughout the country. But in
2000, when Putin became President, he was able to bring order and
stability to Russia, and their economy grew 9 straight years, which
raised living standards for Russians. (24) Today,
Russia has regained its role on the world stage, and these Olympics were
a chance to show the world a new Russia, in hopes of promoting a more
positive image, and encourage the business class to invest there. But
leading up the games, there was much paranoia and propaganda with
regards to terrorism. Many Western countries told their athletes not to
bring their families to Russia. As a result, the world was scared off
and the turnout of spectators and foreign visitors to Russia was greatly
diminished.
Putin Quotes
Vladimir Putin is currently enjoying an
approval rating that is unparalleled compared to leaders in the West. He
is beloved in Russia but also has support from all over the world. The
reason is simple: He’s straight forward and speaks honestly, with no
reservation for calling it like it is. Below are just a few of the many
refreshing quotes Putin has said:
“In Syria, as in the past, the United
States and its allies started directly financing and arming rebels and
allowing them to fill their ranks with mercenaries from various
countries. Let me ask where do these rebels get their money, arms and
military specialists? Where does all this come from? How did the
notorious ISIS manage to become such a powerful group, essentially a
real armed force? As for financing sources, today, the money is coming
not just from drugs, production of which
has increased not just by a few percentage points but many-fold, since
the international coalition forces have been present in Afghanistan. You
are aware of this. The terrorists are getting money from selling oil
too. Oil is produced in territory controlled by the terrorists, who sell
it at dumping prices, produce it and transport it. But someone buys
this oil, resells it, and makes a profit from it, not thinking about the
fact that they are thus financing terrorists who could come sooner or
later to their own soil and sow destruction in their own countries.” (25)
“Let’s ask ourselves, how comfortable
are we with this, how safe are we, how happy living in this world, and
how fair and rational has it become? Maybe, we have no real reasons to
worry, argue and ask awkward questions? Maybe the United States’
exceptional position and the way they are carrying out their leadership
really is a blessing for us all, and their meddling in events all around
the world is bringing peace, prosperity, progress, growth and
democracy, and we should maybe just relax and enjoy it all? Let me say
that this is absolutely not the case.” (25)
“They say we are violating norms of
international law. Firstly, it’s a good thing that they at least
remember that there exists such a thing as international law – better
late than never.”(26)
“Our western partners, led by the United
States of America, prefer not to be guided by international law in
their practical policies, but by the rule of the gun. They have come to
believe in their exclusivity and exceptionalism, that they can decide
the destinies of the world, that only they can ever be right. They act
as they please: here and there, they use force against sovereign states,
building coalitions based on the principle “If you are not with us, you
are against us.” To make this aggression look legitimate, they force
the necessary resolutions from international organisations, and if for
some reason this does not work, they simply ignore the UN Security
Council and the UN overall.” (26)
A World Of Unknowns
In the eyes of the awakened and aware
observer of the world, the U.S government is at the head of global
tyranny. Yet its difficult to find criticism of America’s actions from
other major powers of the world, especially in the West. The reason
being, these puppet governments are controlled by the
same influence that uses America as its leading force. But Russia, a
massive country that can’t be easily conquered, has been a voice of
criticism and because of that, has had to face the consequences of being
that opposing force. Now whether the Georgian War of 2008, the downing
of Malaysian flight MH17, or that mysterious flash of light that lit up
the Russian sky, are the covert, indirect actions taken by this group
against Russia, we don’t know. Or whether both opposing sides, the U.S
and Russia, are just being used for a greater agenda, we don’t know. All
we can do is look at the evidence we are privy to and base our own
conclusions accordingly.
