ALS is the acronym for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, commonly known as “Lou Gehrig’s Disease.” Media portrayals of the Ice Bucket Challenge generally state that ALS “is always fatal and has no known cure,” and therefore urge people to contribute to the ALS Association to fund research to find a cure.
Where Does the Money Contributed to the ALS Association Go?
So where does the money donated to the ALS Association actually go? You may be surprised to find out that the Association itself claims that only 27% of its funds go towards research.

We pulled up their 2013 tax returns to take a closer look at how their funds are spent. Here are the salaries for the leadership of the group:

• Jane H. Gilbert – President and CEO – $339,475.00
• Daniel M. Reznikov – Chief Financial Officer – $201,260.00
• Steve Gibson – Chief Public Policy Officer – $182,862.00
• Kimberly Maginnis - Chief of Care Services Officer – $160,646.00
• Lance Slaughter - Chief Chapter Relations and Development Officer – $152,692.00
• Michelle Keegan – Chief Development Officer – $178,744.00
• John Applegate – Association Finance Officer – $118.726.00
• David Moses – Director of Planned Giving – $112,509.00
• Carrie Munk – Chief Communications and Marketing Officer – $142,875.00
• Patrick Wildman – Director of Public Policy – $112,358.00
• Kathi Kromer – Director of State Advocacy – $110,661.00

Total administration costs, as seen in the pie chart above, were just under $2 million. “Other salaries and wages” (Part IX line 7) were $3.6 million, with another half million dollars in “pension plans” and “employee benefits.” Expenses for non-employee labor were about $4 million, and “travel expenses” exceeded $1.3 million.
So total costs for labor to run the association was around $12.5 million, from revenues received totaling $24 million.
Over 50% of what the ALS Association receives appears to support salaries of people working for the Association, based on these tax returns.
So what about the rest of the revenue?
Almost $1 million was spent on “Lobbying” (Schedule C Part II 2a). Here is what they wrote concerning their Lobbying efforts:

Explanation: The purpose of our advocacy program is to sensitize legislators to, and obtain their sympathy for, the plight of ALS victims, patients and their families, and to influence legislation regarding the appropriation of federal funds for ALS research and the use and cost to patients of “orphan” drugs.

The largest amount of what is remaining is: “Grants and other assistance to governments and organizations in the United States” (Part IX line 1) – $6.2 million. This amount is itemized on Schedule 1. Almost all of these recipients are medical schools, with strong ties to the pharmaceutical industry.
The ALS Association was started in 1985, and they still have not invested in any new cures for ALS. One of the latest failures was Biogen’s drug dexpramipexole, which halted research in early 2013. The drug was in research for more than 10 years at an estimated cost of between $75 million and $100 million, but was abandoned in last stage development due to poor results. (Source.)

The ALS Foundation’s primary work in “research” is in the development of new pharmaceutical drugs, and that includes stem cell research. Here is one study where they have been listed as a sponsor: A Phase I, Open-label, First-in-human Feasibility and Safety Study of Human Spinal Cord derived Neural Stem Cell Transplantation for the Treatment of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. Quote:

When we make a contribution to a charity, typically we want to know that the particular charity reflects our own values, so this will be important information for many people.
Are There non-Drug Alternatives for ALS Treatment?
Yes! However, you are not likely to read anything about this from a non-profit charitable organization supporting the pharmaceutical industry. We have previously reported the story of Clarence and his experience in using coconut oil: Coconut Oil Reverses Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
Coconut oil can be used in a strict ketogenic diet that has been shown to be successful in treating Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s, diabetes, and cancer. among others. The principles of the ketogenic diet are completely different from the philosophy that the pharmaceutical companies start from in their research, where the assumption is that ALS is a “genetic disease.” Most of the current research on fighting disease with a ketogenic diet starts out with the assumption that modern diseases are primarily metabolic, and not genetic, caused by such things as poor diet, toxins in our food and environment, etc.
Another non-drug approach currently seeing success with those suffering from ALS is theDeanna Protocol. This nutritional protocol has seen great success among many users, but I could find no information on any research being done on it by the ALS Association, sadly.

Jihadi Cleric Justifies IS Beheadings: ‘Islam Is A Religion Of Beheading ‘ MEMRI, August 26, 2014

In a recent article, jihadi cleric Hussein bin Mahmoud, a prominent writer on jihadi forums, expressed support for the beheading of American journalist James Foley by a member of the Islamic State (IS). Bin Mahmoud wrote that beheading was an effective way to terrorize the enemies of Islam, and stressed that, under Islamic law, Foley was a harbi, i.e. a non-Muslim whose life was not protected by an agreement of protection. He argued further that Islam allows and encourages such acts, since it is a religion of war and fighting.

The following are excerpts from the article, as posted August 21, 2014 on the Shumoukh Al-Islam forum.

“All Scholars… Agree On The Permissibility Of Killing A Harbi Infidel”

“I don’t know what to say. My mind is perplexed by words I have read and heard from people whom I do not know how to describe!! Millions of Muslims have been killed, tortured and driven from their homes; tens of thousands of Muslim women have had their honor violated and have been sexually abused by the Americans – yet people are weeping over a Christian American harbi infidel who entered the Islamic State, knowing full well what the Islamic State is, and without a pact [of protection]. Were the soldiers of the Islamic State supposed to pat this American harbi on the back and smile at him? All scholars, without exception, agree on the permissibility of killing a harbi infidel, and agree that his blood and property are fair game. Most of them [also] agree on the permissibility of killing him if he is taken prisoner. So where does this condemnation of the IS come from?… Let it be known to all people that when a harbi enters the land of Islam without a legal pact [of protection], his property, life and progeny are fair game.

After clarifying that he is opposed to killing Muslims, bin Mahmoud continues: “As for beheading infidel Jews, Christians and ‘Alawites, as well as apostate Shi’ites, who commit crimes against the Muslims, they must be terrorized, filled with fear and beheaded without any respect. Cutting off heads is part of the tradition of the [Prophet's] Companions. In the Koran Allah ordered to smite the infidels’ necks and encouraged the Muslims to do this. He said [in Koran 47:4], ‘When you meet those who disbelieve on the battlefield, smite at their necks until you have killed and wounded many of them…

“How many hadiths [relayed by] the Prophet’s Companions have we read in which they demanded that he strike the necks of certain men, and the Prophet did not condemn the striking of necks… Striking necks was a well-known matter that did not elicit any condemnation in the eras of the Prophet, the rightly-guided caliphs and their successors,  right until the time of the Christian occupation of the Muslims’ lands in the [20th] century. Those crusaders fought the Islamic legal concepts, distorted the religion, and convinced the Muslims that their religion is a religion of peace, doves, love and harmony, and that there is no blood in it, no killing and no fighting. The Muslims remained in this state until Allah revived the tradition of beheading by means of the mujahid and slaughterer Abu Mus’ab Al-Zarqawi, may Allah have mercy upon him and accept him as a martyr.”

“Islam Is A Religion Of Bloodshed”

Bin Mahmoud goes on to quote a long list of texts which, according to him, prove that Islam condones beheading as a means of terrorizing the enemy, and then emphasizes once more that Islam is not a peaceful religion, since its essence is jihad and martyrdom. He concludes that “Islam is a religion of beheading”:

“The truth is that what distorts the image of Islam is not the beheading and terrorizing of infidels, but rather those who want [Islam to follow the path of] Mandela or Ghandi, with no killing, fighting, brutality, bloodshed or the striking of heads or necks. That is not the religion of [the Prophet] Muhammad son of ‘Abdallah who was sent [to fight] with the sword [until]   Judgment Day. The only Koranic surah that is named after him, Surah Muhammad, is [also] called ‘The Surah of Fighting’…

“Islam is a religion of power, fighting, jihad, beheading and bloodshed, not a religion of turning the left cheek to whoever slapped you on the right cheek. On the contrary, it is a religion of breaking the hand that is stretched out to humiliate the Muslim. [Any Muslim] who fights for his property, blood or honor is a martyr.

“In Islam, tourism [means] jihad for the sake of Allah… There is no true life for its believers except through jihad, [and] the goal of its fighters is to die for the sake of their religion…”

Heavily Armed SWAT Team Swarms Cal State… Because of an Umbrella

These days you never know what could be used as a deadly weapon of mass destruction requiring a militarized SWAT response.
In San Marcos, California, where students and staff members are always looking out for potential domestic terrorists, a call to 9-1-1 prompted a full university lock-down and brought elite members of the police department out in force.
The incident began when someone called police to report a gunman on campus carrying an assault rifle.

It turns out, it was only an umbrella. Late Wednesday, 10News spoke with Bill Craig, who has been a staff member at the university for 17 years. He was walking with his umbrella on campus that morning because of the rain.
Little did he know that by the time he got back to his office, his umbrella would have been mistaken for a rifle and lead to a campus-wide lockdown. Craig was held at gunpoint by sheriff’s deputies during the lockdown.
“I guess you always think that when someone’s pointing a gun at you, you’re really going to freak out but I think I was just more focused on doing exactly what the officer said,” he told 10News.
Craig was the person – reported as being suspicious – they had been looking for. The person was described as a white male, wearing a black shirt and jeans and walking across campus carrying a rifle.
He says he knew it was him the second the alert went out.
“I was certain,” said Craig. “It could have certainly been someone else. I mean, I’m not the only tall, bald guy here, but it fit me to a tee.”

You never know what could pass as an assault rifle given the hyper-sensitivity surrounding the ownership and possession of firearms.

Earlier this a month a man was shot and killed by police at a Walmart in Beavercreek, Ohio after a sharp-eyed shopper called in to report he was carrying around a loaded assault rifle. It turned out to be a BB gun that 22-year old John Crawford had picked up in the sporting goods section of the store.
In another BB gun incident in Houston, a Department of Homeland Security professional mistook an Airsoft rifle for an AR-15, prompting a fully mobilized deployment of the local SWAT team.
But to police, water pistols may be even more dangerous than BB guns or umbrellas. New York resident John Mayer was raided by police after his young son threatened to use a water gun and other children’s armaments against bullies who were terrorizing his friends. Police quickly responded by not only revoking Mayer’s pistol license, but confiscating his firearms, even though the guns were locked and totally inaccessible to his child.
This is only the beginning. As police departments around the country continue to acquire military grade equipment like mine-resistant vehicles, long rifles, night vision, and scores of other supplies, we can expect a further militarization of all federal, state and local employees.

Soon, they might even start arming IRS agents or Post Office employees.
Oh, wait. Too late… They’re already doing that.
But, God forbid an American citizen tries to purchase some body armor for protection. Soon, that will be a crime as well, and perhaps the next SWAT raid will occur as a result of someone wearing a bulky jacket or vest that resembles body armor.
This is America, 2014.

Last year one of the hot topics on all talk radio shows was Affordable health care. While the talking points were focused on the economical hardship and the unconstitutional nature of the program, I had an even greater theory that I was proposing. I was of the opinion that the Affordable health care act was another tool in the surveillance apparatus.
It was a conspiracy against the American people to be coerced into being in a medical database and that once the fix was in, more Americans would be denied certain types of medications, especially medications that are used to get rid of pain.
The problem that truly affects us is the notion that when it comes to health we can all be placed in a “one size fits all” program that is controlled by heavy handed politicians and economists that want only the best care for themselves and care that is barely good enough for the American people.
The problem that can also be exposed is how the American patient is the suspect and victim when it comes to obtaining the right medications to heal and or control pain.
Many Americans do not know that if they are using a controlled substance for pain relief or a drug that may be considered a risk they have reason to be paranoid. The reason is simple: from doctor to pharmacy to your home, you may or may not know that you are now subject to wire taps and undercover spies that may be informants to the DEA.
In fact, one of the informants could be your doctor. Doctors are now being pressured into assuming that all of their patients are drug seekers. If you have been subjected to urine tests, pain agreements, interrogation and impromptu “pill counts” where you are asked to bring in your bottle to the office, and then you will know that you along other patients are suspected of abusing or selling their medications.
It is because some doctors are afraid of an audit where officials have threatened to take practices away if the doctors don’t do as they are told.
As prescription drug abuse has risen, the DEA has come under increasing pressure from Congress to show it is containing the problem. A report from the nonpartisan Government Accountability Office said the DEA had not shown its strategy was working and called for clearer performance measures.
Their solution was to employ the very methods used to track and spy on so-called potential terror suspects.
This raises the real issue of Government Overreach and whether or not you can safely be treated without the threat of being flagged, tracked or interrogated by the DEA.
Today it did not surprise me that the DEA announced that Hydrocodone will now be considered a Schedule II drug under the Controlled Substance Act.
The action, which takes effect in 45 days, will tighten the government’s regulatory control over the drugs and boost criminal penalties for anyone caught illegally dealing or possessing them.
Pure hydrocodone drugs have been listed as Schedule II drugs since the advent of the list in 1971. But hydrocodone-combination products (HCPs) — those made with specified amounts of other therapeutically active non-narcotic ingredients — were listed as the less-restrictive Schedule III.
In heightening restriction of the drugs, the DEA is putting them on par with powerful illegal narcotics including heroin and methamphetamine, as well as commonly abused medications Adderall and Ritalin. The move, first considered a decade ago, follows findings that abuse of hydrocodone combinations has raised dramatically in recent years.
For the millions of patients who rely on drugs such as Vicodin or Lortab for relief from severe pain, the new rules will sharply reduce how many pills a doctor can prescribe for them at one time. Doctors, who under schedule III could prescribe a six-month supply as a 30-day prescription with up to five refills, will now be limited to a three-month supply under schedule II. The rule also mandates that doctors must write the prescriptions in 30-day increments that can only be filled sequentially. Pain patients using the drugs will have visited their doctors every three months for a new prescription.
The change also adds a new layer of regulations manufacturers and pharmacies, which must keep the drugs under tighter security and keep more extensive records. Records of course that will be used in the Affordable health care security apparatus, the Obama care Medical police state.
I proposed last year that the Obama administration wants to control your health and especially wants to decide who gets treated for pain and who doesn’t.
The DEA decision is said to be a cure all for addiction and will most certainly cut back the deaths associated with accidental overdoses and abuse of the medications. What they won’t tell you is that this type of restriction will breed more criminal behavior. While the United States has not really been fingered as a country where heroin use runs rampant, the restrictions on this medication will create a rise in the use of heroin, which increases every time there is a so called restriction or crack down on prescription pain medication abuse. Sure, a few people may not abuse the medications, but that will be offset by the increase use and abuse of heroin.
This will also cause an increase of people leaving the United States because of medical issues.
Oxycodone, another highly abused painkiller and the main ingredient in OxyContin, has been in the more restrictive category since it first came on the market. Oxycodone and methadone account for far more overdose deaths than hydrocodone.
Does this indicate what will happen next? It most certainly will breed a new criminal and it won’t be kids getting their first high… it will be Grandma and Grandpa trying to get medication for that painful hip.
The question is why this happening is as the FDA first rejected the idea of changing the status of these hydrocodone combinations. Statistically only 1-10 % of patients prescribed these medications will become addicted and that is according to FDA.
The Media has successfully demonized these pain killers and when a celebrity is found dead from an overdose we are often told that they were taking hydrocodone. Immediately we think that this has killed them when reality the silent killer is the Acetaminophen and antidepressant combination that puts a strain on the liver.
Celebrities like Anna Nicole Smith and Heath Ledger were found dead with narcotics combinations in their bodies; however both also had taken a dose of Nyquil or Theraflu which caused liver failure. Both contained heavy amounts of paracetamol acetaminophen.
Now it may not be all that simplistic but it seems that the demonizing of those is pain is quite simply put the cornerstone of the police state and part of the Orwellian nightmare.
In the book 1984, George Orwell wrote, “Power is in inflicting pain and humiliation. Power is in tearing human minds to pieces and putting them together again in new shapes of your own choosing.”
When you have all the money in the world, and all of the power you can have, what is left to get? Perhaps it is the souls of the people. Those in control don’t need more money; they obviously can steal it and print it. They don’t care about your health, they want to keep you sick and in pain.
The ramifications of controlling pain are huge in scope. Every organism on this planet responds to pain. No Police state can exist without the ability to give out pain in all forms. The tortures we read about and criticize are academic and in the same way the CIA or any other black ops group tortures enemy combatants we also suffer a post traumatic stress response to this type of behavior.
It is the threat of pain and torture that deep down frightens us. We can put up a good front for courage. We can say “better them than us” but the truth is we are them. They are us.
Shocks to the system create cognitive crisis and pain. Those who control pain control the populace. You see, pain is what is controlling us and those who have the power to relieve the pain are also those who have the power to inflict it.
Access to health records gives them the capability of controlling pain and gives them the ability to decide who deserves to be relieved of their pain. If anyone doubts the power of pain as a tool to control people’s behavior they need only to look at the experiments that were carried out by the Nazis.
These experiments in pain for control were carried through to the academics at Yale and Harvard. They were perfected by the CIA and other groups and now they are being implemented with absolutely no limits. This is why Torture is not condemned or not being altered in war. Because in a moment of pain people could say or do almost anything including kill another human being.
We have all seen the rat in the experiment where he presses the bar in order to get a jolt to the pleasure centers of his brain. He will do it so much he falls limp from exhaustion. He runs around madly in his wheel in order to avoid any pain that is being given him by the controllers.
The experiments evolve where there is no longer anything provided to take away his pain. After a while the rodent learns to live with his pain and also awaits his next blow. This is known as “learned helplessness.” Soon the rat becomes fearful, and mean. He eventually dies. Giving more control to government will ease your pain at first – it will become an “opiate solution.”
When we look at “Opiate” as a wide spread metaphor we must understand that it was used as a part of policy. In the times of Karl Marx, “Opiate” was used in a social sense as a metaphor in his day.
“Opiate” was used sociologically as a term for anything that would soothe social turmoil. Literally, with the help of Karl Marx it is loosely defined as a social pain reliever. Since the socialist evolutionary process includes inflicting and relieving pain and controlling the “Opiate.” “Opiate policies” must be looked into as a means to an end. It is a means of control by the government where big brother watches you and controls your intake of that which takes away your pain and stress.
We can also see this as a method of culling the populace as these new restrictions will actually increase the number of suicide deaths of people who suffer chronic pain.
Imagine for a moment having to plan your life having to remember make a doctors appointment each and every month, for a urine test, a pill count and an interrogation.
Think of planning your life around refill dates, days when you may need more or less of the medication to function and wondering, constantly, if tomorrow will be a good day or a bad day. Think of not being able to go on vacation and enjoy it, or of going and having to plan the trip upon when you will need a refill. Think of these things and consider how you would feel.
People with legitimate chronic pain issues need support and care; now they are being forced to make their lives more difficult and being treated like criminals.

CNN caught red handed covering up CDC medical genocide of African-American babies

Following the explosive story of a key CDC scientist and whistleblower going public with his admission that the CDC committed scientific fraud to bury the truth about MMR vaccines causing autism, CNN has twice censored citizen journalists who posted well-cited stories on CNN's iReport website.

CNN has been aggressively monitoring its own website to commit content suppression actions as rapidly as possible, making sure any truthful reporting about the CDC, MMR vaccines and autism gets deleted as quickly as possible.

The first story posted on CNN's iReport site stayed up for 19 hours before CNN censors noticed it and ordered it deleted. By that time, it had racked up 17,000 shares and was starting to go viral. The author of that story contacted The Truth Barrier and explained how CNN content censors lied:

CNN restores the second story with obvious intention of removing it again

After a wave of public outrage at CNN's obvious censorship of this historical story involving the medical abuse of black babies, CNN reluctantly restored the second story, which now has over 15,000 social media shares. But CNN added a note to the story, stating, "CNN has reached out to the CDC for comment and is working to confirm the claims in this iReport."

What this means is that CNN will simply wait for a reply from the CDC which will obviously say, "These claims are false" for the simple reason that the CDC is the group which committed the criminal fraud in the first place! For CNN to ask the CDC whether it lied is like asking 100 prison inmates whether any of them are guilty.

Once the CDC responds to CNN with yet more lies, CNN will of course use that fabricated response to pull the story down yet again.

This is what happens when the mainstream media functions as nothing more than a band of Big Pharma media puppets. They ask no real questions; they investigate nothing that matters; and they trust the "official" word of the CDC even when it's the CDC that has committed this outrageous act of scientific fraud that harms black children in the first place.

Consider the outrageousness of CNN's censorship of this systematical medical abuse of African-American children

The fact that the CDC knew ten years ago that MMR vaccines caused a 340% increase in autism in young African-American babies is one of the biggest stories in medical history.

The fact that the CDC actively and knowingly committed scientific fraud to cover up this fact calls into question the entire credibility of both the CDC and the vaccine industry -- both of which have been steeped in lies and criminality for decades.

The fact that CNN declared a site-wide media blackout on the CDC cover-up story is a true turning point in the history of media; a point where the corporate-run "mainstream media" publicly admits it has no interest in reporting anything other than corporate-sponsored lies and propaganda. This is the day when America learned that CNN will deliberately censor the biggest story in the history of "racist medicine" and "vaccine violence" by conspiring with the CDC and Big Pharma to pretend this story never happened.

CNN's reputation is worse than merely in shambles over this cover-up... it has self destructed. There is no reason to ever trust CNN again on ANY story. Because it's not just the stories CNN reports that you can't trust... it's the stories the network refuses to report that are even more important.

As CNN has demonstrated itself, it exists today as nothing more than a propaganda mouthpiece with a racist, eugenics agenda to harm as many black babies as possible while censoring all citizen journalists who attempt to report the truth about this crime against humanity.

By covering up this story, CNN is complicit in the genocidal agenda of the CDC which actively conspired to prevent the African-American community from learning the truth about MMR vaccines and autism. Today, CNN's message to the world is essentially, "When black babies are being maimed and killed by bad medicine, we will actively suppress all reporting on the story, making sure even more black babies are destroyed in the name of vaccine profits."

CNN founder Ted Turner, a very vocal fan of human depopulation, would be proud. What better way to accomplish the culling of human babies than to call it "immunization" and get everybody to line up and pay for it?
