Central Banks Lend Massively to the Shadow Banking Sector. The Role of “Money Market Funds”

Since the banking bubble burst in 2007, the major Central Banks of the most industrialised countries lend massively to private banks at very low interest rates in order to avoid their failure, thus permitting the big banks that take the most advantage to save considerable amounts in interest payments.
The Fed purchases massive amounts of structured mortgage backed securities, although the ECB does not purchase these products, it allows banks to deposit them as guarantee (or collateral) against the loans they grant. The governments also bring their guarantees, and inject money, into banks in order to recapitalize them.
The systemically important banks are well aware that in case of problems they are protected by their size, they are “too big to fail” and know they can count on state aid to bail them out whenever necessary.
Governments borrow on financial markets by issuing sovereign debt bonds. They entrust the sale of these securities to large private banks. The banks also benefit from lower taxes on profits. In addition, within the eurozone, banks have the monopoly of credit to the public sector.

Since 2007 Governments and Central Banks of the most industrialized Western countries – hit by the greatest economic crisis since the 1930s – have given top priority to the rescue of private banks and the financial system (insurance companies, mutual funds, private pension funds, etc.) |1| The bank bailout is done at the expense of the overwhelming majority of the population. The governments have done their utmost to maintain private banks’ main privileges and to keep their power intact. The cost is enormous: explosion of public debt, loss of tax revenues, tight restrictions on loans to households and small businesses, further speculative and adventurous activities, which, in some cases, have required expensive new rescues.
Central Banks lend massively to the banking sector
Since the banking bubble burst in 2007, the major Central Banks of the most industrialized countries (ECB, Bank of England, Fed in the US, National Bank of Switzerland, Bank of Japan) have lent massively to banks in order to avoid failures. Without this source of unlimited credit, a great number of banks would find themselves in payment difficulties, as the usual funding sources declined, the interbank market had seized up (the banks lost confidence in each other), the sale of banks’ covered bonds became weak, and the money market funds became erratic. The sum total loaned by Central Banks to the private sector since 2007 is more than $20 trillion. As this has been made available at very low interest rates the big banks have been able to enormously reduce interest repayments.
What are Money Market Funds?
Money Market Funds (MMFs) are financial corporations in the United States and Europe, rarely controlled and little subject to regulations as they act without banking licences. They are closely akin to shadow banking. Supposedly the MMFs act with prudence but the reality is very different. This is cause for great concern given the vast quantities of money they handle, and the sharp drop in their profitability since 2008. In the United States, they managed $2.7 trillion in 2012, a significant drop from the $3.8 trillion in 2008. As investment funds the MMFs collect capital from investors (banks, pension funds, etc.) and use it to make short-term, often day to day, loans to banks and businesses. During the 2000s MMF financing has become an essential short-term source of liquidities for banks. The biggest are Prime Money Market Fund, Created by JP Morgan, the biggest bank in the United States, is worth $115 billion.
Wells Fargo the 4th largest bank in the United States has an MMF managing $24 billion. Goldman Sachs the 5th biggest bank controls an MMF worth $25 billion. US banks also operate MMFs in Europe; JP Morgan (€18 billion euros), BlackRock (€11.5 billion), Goldman Sachs (€10 billion), alongside European banks such as BNP Paribas (€7.4 billion), and Deutsche Bank (€11.3 billion). Some MMFs also operate in British pounds. Michel Barnier (European Commissioner for the Internal Market and Services) has announced that he would like regulations to be imposed on this activity, but this is most likely to remain nothing more than a statement of good intentions |2|.
The Obama administration is also said to be considering new regulations, to avoid having to bail out a bankrupt MMF with public money.Moody’s rating agency has worked out that during the 2007-2009 period 62 MMFs had to be bailed out by the banks and pension funds that had created them, 36 in the US and 26 in Europe for a total cost of $12,1 billion. Between 1980 and 2007 146 MMFs had to be saved by their sponsors. Again according to Moody’s, 20 MMFs were bailed out during 2010-2011 |3|. This shows up to what point they are a menace to the financial system.
Along with direct cash provisions Central Banks have other ways to assist private banks. Between 2008 and 2014 the Fed purchased very large quantities of Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS), totalling $1.5 trillion |4|. In 2012-2013 it bought up to $40 billion “worth” a month from banks and estate agents |5|. Towards the end of 2013 the Fed started to reduce its purchases, which were no more than $35 billion in March 2014. As of October 2014 the FED will hold $1.7 trillion worth of MBS, about 21% of the total value of this kind of toxic product. |6|
The ECB does not purchase these products but allows banks to deposit them as collateral, that is, as guarantees for the loans they grant. During the 2010-2013 period the “value” of Asset Backed Securities (ABS) on deposit at the ECB varied between €325 billion and €490 billion.
The ECB also purchased covered bonds, issued by private banks to finance their activities |7|. This is a very important assistance by the ECB to the private banks, which, as we have seen, had serious difficulty to find funding on the financial markets. This assistance has quite simply been ignored by the media. Since the beginning of the crisis the ECB has purchased €76 billion of covered bonds, €22 billion on the primary market and €54 billion on the secondary market, including bonds rated as bad as BBB-,which expresses lack of confidence in the issuers. On the 18 March 2014 the ECB held €52 billion “worth” of covered bonds. This is a very large proportion of the total amount of the covered bonds the banks have issued. In 2013 the amount was €166 billion, 50% down in two years |8|.

Steven Sotloff Video Was Released by Intelligence Group linked to Homeland Security and Washington Think Tanks

Western news media are abuzz with reports on the latest alleged murder of an American journalist by the “Islamic State.” A professionally-produced video of the beheading of Steve Sotloff was presented for public consumption by the private intelligence contractor SITE Intelligence Group of Bethesda Maryland. “SITE” stands for Search for International Terrorist Entities.[1]

US intelligence officials cannot presently authenticate the video, and in the past SITE has been accused of being overzealous in its pursuit of purported terrorist groups with unusually savvy internet skills and access. As former director of the CIA’s bin Laden Unit Michael Scheuer remarks, “Much as Al Jazeera underplays terrorist threats, the SITE Institute at times overplays them.”[2]
SITE has also been linked to the Department of Homeland Security, major US government players, and may have ties to the Israeli intelligence community. As Kurt Nimmo reports,

One of SITE’s founders, Rita Katz, is a government insider with close connections to former terrorism czar Richard Clarke and his staff in the White House, as well as investigators in the Department of Justice, Department of the Treasury, and the Department of Homeland Security, according to SourceWatch. Her father was executed in Iraq as an Israel spy, a fact that suggests a connection to Israeli intelligence.[3]

Another facet of the story calling into question its authenticity is the Sotloff family’s choice for a spokesperson. “The family knows of this horrific tragedy and is grieving privately,” one Barak Barfi told the Miami Herald. “There will be no public comment from the family during this difficult time.”[4]
Barak Barfi is in fact a “research fellow” at the New America Foundation, “where he specializes in Arab and Islamic affairs,” according to New America’s website.[5] Barfi was formerly a visiting fellow at the Brookings Institution. In 2011 Mr. Barfi strongly advocated the overthrow of the Muammar Qaddafi government in Libya,[6] and has advanced similar arguments against Syria’s Bashar al-Assad regime.[7]
“Barak Barfi is indeed the spokesperson for the Sotloff family,” New America Foundation media relations representative Jenny Lu Mallamo confirmed to this author in an email response to a September 3 query.[8]

While touting itself as “non-profit” and “non-partisan,” the New America Foundation is in fact a well-heeled think tank and advocacy organization backed by powerful globalist figures and entities including Bill Gates, Google CEO Eric Schmidt, the Ford Foundation, the US Department of State, and the US Agency for International Development.[9]
Barfi works within NAF’s Counterterrorism Strategy Initiative headed up by CNN National Security Analyst Peter Bergen. The author of Manhunt: The Ten-Year Search for Bin Laden—From 9/11 to Abbottabad, Bergen promotes the official myth and state propaganda line concerning bin Laden’s apparent decade-long existence following his reported death in 2001.[10]
Along these lines, Bergen plays along with the corporate media’s widely held notion that ISIS is a spontaneous phenomenon that receives little-if-any Western support.[11]
Perhaps unsurprisingly, Barfi’s role as “spokesperson” of the Sotloff family vis-à-vis his links to New America, Brookings, Atlantic Media, and CNN are left entirely unexamined by the same corporate media outlets vigorously promoting the supposed Foley and Sotloff beheadings as genuine. Such propaganda efforts are paving the road toward renewed Western intervention in the region, and perhaps even the supreme casus belli—another staged attack on US soil on or around the thirteenth anniversary of 9/11.

European intelligence experts dismiss the Bush “war on terrorism” as deception and reveal the realpolitik behind the aggression against Afghanistan.

Berlin – In Germany, where war plans for Afghanistan were already being discussed in July and where several of the “Arab hijackers” lived and studied, intelligence experts say the terror attacks of September 11 could not have been carried out without the support of a state secret service.

Eckehardt Werthebach, former president of Germany’s domestic intelligence service, Verfassungsschutz, told AFP that “the deathly precision” and “the magnitude of planning” behind the attacks of September 11 would have needed “years of planning.”

Such a sophisticated operation, Werthebach said, would require the “fixed frame” of a state intelligence organization, something not found in a “loose group” of terrorists like the one allegedly led by Mohammed Atta while he studied in Hamburg.

Many people would have been involved in the planning of such an operation and Werthebach pointed to the absence of leaks as further indication that the attacks were “state organized actions.”

Andreas von Bulow served on the parliamentary commission which oversees the three branches of the German secret service while a member of the Bundestag (German parliament) from 1969 to 1994, and wrote a book titled Im Namen des Staates (In the Name of the State) on the criminal activities of secret services, including the CIA.

Von Bulow told AFP that he believes that the Israeli intelligence service, Mossad, is behind the September 11 terror attacks. These attacks, he said, were carried out to turn public opinion against the Arabs, and boost military and security spending.

“You don’t get the higher echelons,” von Bulow said, referring to the “architectural structure” which masterminds such terror attacks. At this level, he said, the organization doing the planning, such as Mossad, is primarily interested in affecting public opinion.

The architectural level planners use corrupt “guns for hire” such as Abu Nidal, the Palestinian terrorist who von B’low called “an instrument of Mossad,” high-ranking Stasi (former East German secret service) operatives, or Libyan agents who organize terror attacks using dedicated people, for example Palestinian and Arab “freedom fighters.”

The terrorists who actually commit the crimes are what von Bulow calls “the working level,” such as the 19 Arabs who allegedly hijacked the planes on September 11. “The working level is part of the deception,” he said.

“Ninety-five percent of the work of the intelligence agencies around the world is deception and disinformation,” von Bulow said, which is widely propagated in the mainstream media creating an accepted version of events. “Journalists don’t even raise the simplest questions,” he said adding, “those who differ are labeled as crazy.”

Both Werthebach and von Bulow said the lack of an open and official investigation, such as congressional hearings, into the events of September 11 was incomprehensible.

AFP asked von Bulow about the Taliban’s ban on opium production: “Seventy percent of the drug trade is licensed by the intelligence agencies,” von B’low said, and they are interested in keeping the drug traffic “running through their mills.”

“The BND (German secret service) is steered by the CIA and the CIA is steered by Mossad,” von Bulow said.

Horst Ehmke, who coordinated the German secret services directly under German prime minister Willi Brandt in the 70s, predicted a similar terrorist attack in his novel, Torches of Heaven, published last year, in which Turkish terrorists crash hijacked planes into Berlin.

EERIE PREDICTIONS

Although Ehmke had long expected “fundamentalist attacks,” when he saw the televised images from September 11, he said it looked like a “Hollywood production.”

“Terrorists could not have carried out such an operation with 4 hijacked planes without the support of a secret service,” Ehmke said, although he did not want to point to any particular agency.

“The most important thing in the struggle against terrorists, who are abusing religion, is the battle for the soul of the people and the nations,” Ehmke said. “If this isn’t resolved successfully, the 21st Century could be bloodier than the last.”

A former Stasi agent who had warned the German secret service of terror attacks in America between September 10-20 told AFP that a high ranking Stasi chief named Jurgen Rogalla, who is “an airplane terror specialist,” was probably involved in the attacks of September 11 along with Abu Nidal.

Both Nidal and Rogalla work with the Mossad, the former agent told AFP. Nidal, was said to be in Baghdad, and is a “leading officer for some Mossad agents.” The agent said that Nidal was “involved directly” in the events of September 11.

September 11 was preparation for a larger attack on the United States, which is part of “an old plan,” the agent said. Based on prior knowledge of this plan, the agent said that more attacks are imminent and that aircraft carriers may be targeted next. Rogalla is also strongly anti-religious and attacks on cathedrals or places of religious significance before Christmas are likely.

Rogalla was responsible for “turning NATO men” to spy for the East. One of the East’s NATO spies, Reiner Rupp, known as “Topaz,” provided Stasi and the Russians with the organization’s highest secrets until he was discovered in 1993 by the BND. A CIA agent known as “Frank Lindsey” worked with Rogalla, according to the former Stasi agent.

TERROR INVESTIGATION BLOCKED

Under the influence of U.S. oil companies, the administration of George W. Bush blocked U.S. secret service investigations on terrorism, while it bargained with the Taliban to turn over Osama bin Laden in exchange for political recognition and economic aid, two French intelligence analysts claim.

In a recently published book, “Bin Laden, la verite interdite” (Bin Laden, the forbidden truth), the authors, Jean-Charles Brisard and Guillaume Dasquie, reveal that the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s deputy director John O’Neill resigned in July in protest due to official obstruction of his investigation of terrorism.

O’Neill had been in charge of national security in New York. While with the FBI, O’Neill led an investigation of Osama bin Laden and had forecast the possibility of an organized attack by terrorists operating from within the country.

O’Neill had investigated the USS Cole bombing in Yemen, the bombings of U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, and the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. In 1995, FBI agents working under O’Neill captured Ramzi Yousef, a suspected lieutenant of bin Laden, who later was among those convicted for the World Trade Center bombing.

O’Neill was considered a top-notch investigator and was known for his pugnacity. He was barred by U.S. Ambassador to Yemen Barbara Bodine from that country. That dispute reportedly involved a struggle between the State Department, which sought to preserve relations with Yemen, and the FBI, represented by O’Neill, who wanted access to Yemeni suspects.

O’Neill, 49, was hired as chief of security at the World Trade Center following a 25-year career with the FBI and died on Sept. 11, the first day of his new job. O’Neill reportedly died after reentering the building to assist others.

Brisard said O’Neill told them that “the main obstacles to investigate Islamic terrorism were U.S. oil corporate interests and the role played by Saudi Arabia in it.”

EARLY WARNINGS

Osama bin Laden and the Taliban received threats of possible American military strikes against them two months before the terrorist assaults on New York and Washington, according to The Guardian (UK).

The warnings to the Taliban originated at a four-day meeting of senior Americans, Russians, Iranians and Pakistanis at a hotel in Berlin in mid-July. The meetings took place under the arbitration of Francesc Vendrell, personal representative of UN secretary general Kofi Annan, to discuss the situation in Afghanistan.

The three Americans at the Berlin meeting were Tom Simons, former US ambassador to Pakistan, Karl “Rick” Inderfurth, a former assistant secretary of state for south Asian affairs, and Lee Coldren, who headed the office of Pakistan, Afghan and Bangladesh affairs in the state department until 1997.

There were other meetings arranged by Vendrell in which “representatives of the U.S. government and Russia, and the six countries that border with Afghanistan were present,” according to the French authors. “Sometimes, representatives of the Taliban also sat around the table.”

The Berlin conference was the third meeting since November 2000 arranged by Mr. Vendrell. As a UN meeting, its official agenda was supposedly confined to trying to find a negotiated solution to the civil war in Afghanistan, ending terrorism and heroin trafficking, and discussing humanitarian aid.

CARPET OF GOLD — OR BOMBS

The U.S. government’s primary objective in Afghanistan was to consolidate the position of the Taliban regime in order to obtain access to the oil and gas reserves of Central Asia, the French authors wrote.

Until August, the U.S. government saw the Taliban regime “as a source of stability in Central Asia that would enable the construction of an oil pipeline across Central Asia,” from the rich oilfields in Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan, through Afghanistan and Pakistan, to the Indian Ocean, they said.

“The oil and gas reserves of Central Asia have been controlled by Russia. The Bush government wanted to change all that,” the book says. When the Taliban refused to accept U.S. conditions, “this rationale of energy security changed into a military one.”

“The Americans indicated to us that in case the Taliban does not behave and in case Pakistan also doesn’t help us to influence the Taliban, then the United States would be left with no option but to take an overt action against Afghanistan,” said Niaz Naik, a former foreign minister of Pakistan, who attended the meetings.

On French television, Naik said during the “6+2″ meeting in Berlin in July, the discussions turned around “the formation of a government of national unity. If the Taliban had accepted this coalition, they would have immediately received international economic aid.”

“And the pipe lines from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan would have come,” he added.

Naik also claimed that Tom Simons, the U.S. representative at these meetings, openly threatened the Taliban and Pakistan.

“Simons said, ‘either the Taliban behave as they ought to, or Pakistan convinces them to do so, or we will use another option’. The words Simons used were ‘a military operation’,” Naik said.

“At one moment during the negotiations, the U.S. representatives told the Taliban, ‘either you accept our offer of a carpet of gold, or we bury you under a carpet of bombs’,” Brisard said in an interview in Paris.

According to the book, the government of Bush began to negotiate with the Taliban immediately after coming into power in February. U.S. and Taliban diplomatic representatives met several times in Washington, Berlin and Islamabad.

To polish their image in the United States, the Taliban even employed a U.S. expert on public relations, Laila Helms. The authors claim that Helms is also an expert in the works of U.S. secret services, for her uncle, Richard Helms, is a former director of the CIA.

Something to Hide

Much has transpired since September 11, 2001.

• We have learned that numerous heads of state and foreign intelligence agencies tried to warn us before 9-11^(2);

• We have emerged deeply disturbing unanswered questions of 9-11 through global Internet media⁽³⁾:

• We have worked with the 9-11 time line ⁽⁴⁾ and realized that the official explanation of events is conspiracy theory, not conforming to documented fact;

• We have watched the US government suppress facts and restrict of the 9-11 Commission’s access to information (5);

• We have watched the 9-11 Commission fail to answer the unanswered questions and concede to official suppression of information (5) ;

• We have watched the leaders of the national security infrastructure richly rewarded for their failure to protect America on 9-11(6);

“Cui Bono?” is Latin for “who benefits?”
Is there a connection between the rich flow of profit and market manipulations flowing from 9-11 and the stonewalling by the Administration and the agency members of the National Security Council?
Time has passed since September 11, 2001. As new budgets are approved, financial statements published, laws passed, taxes cut and stocks go up, it is easier to identify who benefited politically and financially from 9-11.
As we map out the financial “real deal” on 9-11, we realize there are three categories of people benefiting.

• Richly Guilty: The first category of people who benefited were those who are guilty and complicit in designing, implementing and financing the 9-11 operation. On such a sophisticated and successful covert operation, the people responsible would have had budgets and financing and would have organized the operation to maximize their political and financial benefits. This is the nature of economic warfare.

• Richly Opportunistic: The second category of people who benefited where those who were opportunistic in taking advantage of 9-11 as an economic and political event as soon as it happened. Some folks, such as money managers, are obligated as fiduciaries to be opportunistic. Others, such as government officials, may be opportunistic at the cost of ignoring their fiduciary obligations. As one retired banking executive said, “Let’s face it, if the guys in Washington had been doing their job instead of helping their pals make money, 9-11 could never have happened.”

• Sustainably Naïve: The third category of people who benefited where those who shared in the political and economic profits generated by the first two categories. Taking the position that “money has no smell,” the large number of people in this category are generally not cognizant of their complicity through the incentive system created by “voting with their money, time and attention.”

Where to begin to determine the specifics of who benefited? This is a significant task for private citizens who do not have the rich flow of investigatory, intelligence and enforcement resources of government. Hence, a citizen led effort will need to break the task down into manageable collaborative pieces.
One way for global networks of researchers, blog authors and Internet media to start to build the “Cui Bono?” unanswered questions of 9-11 is to develop a framework that outlines the general areas of profiteering.

• Money Missing from the US Treasury

In fiscal 1999 and 2000, the Department of Defense (DOD) reported $3.3 trillion of undocumentable adjustments in the process of failing to produce audited financial statements. In the summer of 2001, the appropriations for DOD failed to report out of committee before the summer recess. The political tension between arms manufacturers and defense contractors who anticipated pay back from the Bush election victory and those pressing for federal spending and financing to conform to spending and securities law was resolved by 9-11.
The question remains – who has the $3.3 trillion plus missing from the US Treasury, what is the role of the NY Federal Reserve Bank and its members as depository for the US government and agent for the Exchange Stabilization Fund and why are we proposing to cut back social security rather than getting these resources back?

• US Stock Market Pump & Dump Fraud

• Federal Credit Arbitrage & Relaxed Monetary Policy

Financial institutions who have access to the federal credit can use such credit to raise deposits and savings from citizens, paying little or no interest, and then lend it back to the citizens at much higher interest rates through financing the US Treasury, mortgage agency securities or in relaxed lending policies which charge relatively expensive interest and fees. Hence, it is now a common fact pattern to find people in America earning 2% on their bank CD’s while their neighbors are paying Citibank, JP Morgan Chase and the IRS 18% on their debt.
Subsequent to 9-11, these types of rich federal credit arbitrage profits appear to have skyrocketed as the facilitating ease in monetary policy was matched by extraordinary increases in government debt and easing in consumer debt policies and more industry favorable bankruptcy and lending laws. In short, 9-11 appears to have been used by Greenspan and the NY Federal Reserve to promote the back door liquidation of middle class equity through federal credit arbitrage.
This kind of manipulation allows sophisticated financial institutions to “put” their losses back to the government and the citizens in a “heads we win, tails we win” economic model which is hard for the non-financially literate citizen to understand.

• Suppression of the Florida Media Recount & Black Box Voting

US media canceled the announcement of their recount of the Florida presidential election as a result of 9-11. Allegedly, this would have raised legitimate questions as to the Bush Administration’s legitimacy.
After 9-11, the installation of computer voting systems for which there is no verifiable paper trail has accelerated. This increases the chances that Florida type events will increase. The companies doing the installation appear to be predominantly Republican owned and controlled.

to negate the political influence of the families and should be viewed economically as an effective advertising expense relative to the total profit flows. For example, the Republican convention is being held in New York this fall to concide with the 9-11 anniversary. It is essential for this event that the 9-11 families are muted as an independent voice against 9-11 profiteering. The potential failure to do so is a major Bush Administration political vulnerability.
Invitation to the “Cui Bono?” Conversation
One opportunity to build a better understanding of 9-11 will flow from an analysis of 9-11profiteering. As we understand the profit flows, we can then drill down to define the banks, companies, organizations and investors who benefited as well as the particular individuals in key leadership positions who profited personally.
In an ideal collaborative research effort, we would attempt to estimate the total financial profits and capital gains to the individuals who have enjoyed the greatest 9-11 benefits. We would also attempt to ascertain patterns between these benefits. For example, we would look at the flow of donations into the current political campaigns. In addition, we would want to understand the shift of capital from the US to Asia to finance the outsourcing of US jobs, to finance the privatization of US government and assets at below market prices or above market contracts and to park and enjoy the freedoms of offshore havens.
The Administration has something to hide. Rather than lose time and resources getting lost in the White House fog, let’s follow the alleged advice of one of the 9-11 Commissioners, Fred Fielding, thought to be the “deep throat” long ago who leaked the Watergate secrets while a Deputy White House Counsel:

SECURITY BLUNDERS AND PLANE CONSPIRACY

On July 17th 2014, in the skies over the Donetsk region supported by a Russian garrison Malaysian flight MH17 flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur was shot down by what is believed to be an anti aircraft missile system All 298 people who were on board were killed. The vast majority of them – 194 passengers – were citizens of the Netherlands. 43 people, in particular, all the crew members were citizens of Malaysia.
The US claims that it had evidence linking pro-Russian rebels to the shooting down of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17, but in the absence of any concrete admission of guilt, and almost no more information about the shooting down of the plane we now learn that the event that has led to what is happening now with Russia and Ukraine will never be fully reported because there seems to be an agreement between certain parties to keep any and all information about the Malaysian plane classified
On August 8th, 2014 Ukraine, The Netherlands, Australia, and Belgium signed a “non-disclosure agreement” keeping any and all information about the downed plane away from any further investigations.
This in my opinion sets the stage for what can be called an awesome conspiracy. A cover- up that for some reason is meant to protect those who were responsible for shooting the plane down.
Apparently this has become a game changer in the process that has led to war and invasion. It appears that there has been no concrete evidence to support that the Russians were responsible for shooting down the plane and when there was an inquiry as to whether \or not the Ukrainian ethnic Russian separatists were responsible the trail went nowhere. Any and all information went into the memory hole.
This non disclosure agreement that classifies the “sensitive information” about the downing of MH17 between Ukraine, Netherlands, Belgium and Australia wouldn’t be necessary if the truth were to come out about the plane. The truth wouldn’t require this measure to be taken, a deception would.
In the framework of the 4-country agreement signed on August 8th between Ukraine, the Netherlands, Belgium and Australia, information on the progress and results of the investigation of the disaster will remain classified.
This was confirmed at a briefing in Kiev under the auspices of the office of the Prosecutor General Yuri Boychenko. In his words, the results of the investigation will be published once completed only if a consensus agreement of all parties that have signed the agreement prevails.
It is safe to assume the results of the investigation which now has been going on for weeks will eventually be released in a few years when the political ramifications of the disaster conveniently lose their relevance.
What was a distraction the United States media, never really had a conclusion, only a hypothesis that President Vladimir Putin was responsible and that there would be hell to pay if it were found that he was complicit in the event.
With this turn of events it can only be assumed with an inconvenient conclusion that the intermediate results of the investigation directly prove the innocence of Russia and/or the Donesk militia.
When the lying elite are maneuvering criminal acts all that needs to be done is to flip a switch and declare something off limits to anyone who wishes to expose a conspiracy. When the Governments of the west are hell bent on destabilizing Ukraine and starting World War III we can’t allow for the innocence of a cold war foe to be revealed, it is not good for the business of the war effort.
This is how intelligence not only shoots down a plane but makes it disappear entirely. It is also unknown as to whether or not the American NGOs, which by official admission spent 5 billion dollars in political destabilization efforts prior to the February civil war in Kiev, have suddenly disappeared from the Ukraine.
What we do know is that the situation there is not getting any better and people who can take a side in this attempt at world war are better off realizing that all the governments that are involved including the United States have now voluntarily participated in a conspiracy to bring the world into a conflict while not admitting to any wrong doing.
The question is how and why we continue to allow this to happen in our name, especially while we are being led by a man who has on his desk a Nobel Peace prize.
There is no hope now of getting down to the bottom of who is at fault for what is happening in Ukraine now.
It is very telling as to what is happening here, If this were a card game the United States would be holding the most tombstone looking poker face at the table. Washington has constantly had the winning hand in a propaganda war, despite that fact that all roads lead to the efforts of Victoria Nuland and Geoffrey Pyatt . We reported when the rumors of uprising began that Nuland was the chief architect of the Ukrainian crisis and played a phone call on the air that literally painted the picture of the whole “wag the dog” scenario.
Back in February, Victoria Nuland made the news when an audio recording of her phone conversation with the U.S. Ambassador with Ukraine, Geoffrey Pyatt, was released. I suppose that when we played the phone call on the air that no one really picked up on the fact that the conversation between her and Pyatt was the smoking gun exposing that planning of this crisis and why it was being carried out.
We also seem to have put into the memory hole any and all pictures that Senator John McCain had taken with the neo Nazi leaders of Svoboda and the Banderist factions that in the days of Hitler were known as the brown shirts.
Waves of propaganda have come from Washington and are made to fit assumptions of Valdimir Putin as a driven imperialist that has used nationalism heightened by the loss of the Soviet empire, to try to expand the Russian Federation up to the borders of Ukraine – It is hard to shake that Soviet image and Americans are obliged to keep the cold war rhetoric at a fever pitch.
Now everyone who has a bad story about Putin or a bad story about Russia will immediately be put at the front of the line so that we can reinforce what we began.
Today is no exception as it was reported that Russia has now invaded the Ukraine. This report had sparked controversy across the world as many countries and journalist were demanding proof that this has happened.
Russia has denied the incursion, however a top NATO official produced satellite photos Thursday to back up his claim that at least 1,000 Russian troops have crossed into Ukraine.
Dutch Brigadier General Nico Tak said the 1,000 Russian soldiers was a conservative estimate and said another 20,000 Russian troops were right over the border.
The satellite images provide what NATO called additional evidence that Russian combat soldiers, equipped with sophisticated heavy weaponry, are operating inside Ukraine’s sovereign territory.
But of course the media once again is responsible for stirring the pot of conspiracy as many mainstream news outlets reporting the invasion as absolute fact decided that the blurry photos provided by NATO were unclear and so they decided to run recycled stock photos of Ukrainian military vehicles for the sake of making it look as if there are a lot of vehicles on the ground.
I suppose it is difficult for the hardliners to understand why there is so much skepticism about what is going on. All sides have been lying since the whole mess began.
Furthermore while no official announcement has yet been made on a plan of resistance NATO officials say they are determined to “create a spearhead” pointed at Russia in Eastern Europe that will include a substantially more “visible” presence of NATO troops there.
So far there is no evidence that this happening and once again what would be considered a hot story in the media about all out war with Russia and Ukraine is now being met with trepidation in some parts of the world.
Even Barack Obama was hesitant to call what is happening there an all out invasion. Obama condemned what he called the latest Russian military advance into Ukraine and said the United States and its allies would take further actions to punish Moscow for violating its neighbor’s sovereignty.
Obama did not say anything about an invasion. Obama right now is more concerned about looking into carrying out air strikes in Iraq and Syria.
Anyone wonder if we have just decided to ignore everything in Ukraine because the mission creep we started is turning out to be a fiasco that would make the west look like provocateurs and maybe even war criminals?
ISIS has taken the attention away from an invasion in Ukraine which is allegedly out of control with blurry pictures provided by NATO. Can anyone see how weird this is becoming and how this whole situation is ripe for conspiracy theory that does not favor the actions of the US state department?
Barack Obama said this of the so called Invasion of Ukraine by Russian Separatist forces:

“I consider the actions that we’ve seen in the last week a continuation of what’s been taking place for months now, these separatists are backed, trained, armed, and financed by Russia. Throughout this process we’ve seen deep Russian involvement in everything that they’ve done.”

Obama’s tone was strikingly more restrained than that of the ambassador to the United Nations, Samantha Power, who earlier in the day bluntly accused Russia of lying about its military intervention in Ukraine. In a blistering statement to the Security Council, Ms. Power said “the mask is coming off” Russia’s actions, which she called “a threat to all of our peace and security.”
I would say that the original American NGO security blunder and classifying of the Malaysian MH17 incident are an even bigger threat to our peace and security. It can be said that this is all being done by design. How can anyone believe anything that is being reported?
Barack Obama sealed the deal when he said in a press conference “We are not taking military action to solve the Ukrainian problem. What we’re doing is to mobilize the international community to apply pressure on them. I think it is very important to recognize that a military solution to this problem is not going to be forthcoming.”
In fact Obama is actually deferring to the UN to actually take care of the problem in Ukraine.
It looks as like a president is picking his battles and in either scenario we have waited too long to see so little action and receiving so little information to allow for the mainstream media to satisfy our want and need to know.
Rest assured that those who already know can see that World War III will most certainly have its foundation built on security blunders and plain conspiracy.

Highest Ranking NSA Whistle-Blower Of All Time Addresses The UFO Question – See What He Had To Say

Just as Edward Snowden made huge headlines (and still is) all over the world, William Binney did the same in 2001 when he resigned from the National Security Agency (NSA) after 9/11 and blew the lid on an NSA mass surveillance program.

He worked for the agency for more than thirty years, and was the leading code-breaker against the Soviet Union during the Cold War. He’s had quite the run, starting in 2002 when he let the public know of a system ( ‘trailblazer’) intended to analyze data carried on communication networks (like the internet). He exposed the agencies eavesdropping program and has faced harassment from the FBI, NSA and more. He has been in and out of the court room ever since he decided to resign and blow the whistle.

Binney was recently interviewed on 9/11 Free Fall Radio, where he said:

“We selectively ignore basic facts. What I mean by a basic fact is something that’s just there that needs to be addressed, even if they can’t explain it they should have said “we can’t explain this but it’s there” so they at least recognize that this basic fact existed. My problem is, just like the UFO thing, unless they start addressing these kinds of things, peoples observations or basic measurements or factual evidence that simply exists, unless they start addressing them there’s always  going to be questions, especially now with the government, how much trust do you have with this government? They’ve been spying, putting whistle blowers in jail, torturing, and giving immunity to people who commit these kinds of crimes, how much trust can you put in a government like that? When you selectively ignore these kids of things…..”(source 10-12 minute mark)

It’s great to hear someone who had such a long career with the NSA mention UFOs (although many high ranking defence personnel have made remarkable statements: see here), and the importance of governments addressing the phenomenon that is flooded with “people’s observations” and “factual evidence.” Clearly, Binney is aware of the phenomenon and the seriousness of the issue.

UFOs and extraterrestrial life is one of the most popular questions of our time. In the United States alone, at least half of all Americans say that we’re not alone in the universe. Fifty percent of Americans already believe that there is some form of life on other planets, while only seventeen percent think that there isn’t. A quarter of Americans believe that intelligent extraterrestrial visitors have already come to Earth and have been doing so for a long time.(source)

Will North American Governments Ever Properly Address The UFO Phenomenon?

Binney brings up a great point, and for him to put UFOs and  “factual evidence” in the same category was great and very brave of him.

The NSA (for example) has released files that clearly indicate their interest in the UFO phenomenon, HERE is one example, and HERE is another, documenting in detail an encounter military jets had with a UFO when they were ordered to go take a look at them. I still wouldn’t call releasing these files properly addressing the questions and concerns of the people. Dozens of other governments around the world have released thousands of previously classified UFO documentation, yet important questions still remain that they have not addressed. The release of these files indicate that governments and defense agencies have documented studies and allocated resources to studying the UFO phenomenon, and have kept the fact that they are doing so a secret for avery long time. You can be sure that a lot of information on the subject probably still remains heavily classified. They are holding all of this information, and have gathered so much of it yet we don’t have any access to it.

It’s not a secret that governments keep secrets, the United States alone classifies approximately 500 million pages of documents every year, and the release of previously classified information is a great example of that.

So will North American governments ever properly address the UFO phenomenon? I don’t know, but the information is leaking out there regardless. Again, they’ve been studying and gathering information on this phenomenon for decades, and they have access to information and data that we don’t, and that’s not fair.

Here’s something to think about:

Whether our governments agree to properly address the issue and share with us the information they’ve accumulated over the years or not, the answers will come in the form of whistleblowers, leaked documents (like wikileaks) or something else.

As of this morning the number had climbed to 65% in favor of “believer.” Due to the full context of the show I think it should be noted that this question should have been worded differently. Some, like myself cast our votes based on the belief that Obama is not “natural born,” while others likely cast their votes believing that Obama is not a citizen at all (born in Kenya possibly). I believe that Obama may have been born in Kenya, but that his place of birth is largely irrelevant.

There are two definitive schools of thought within the “birther” movement. However, more often than not, you are exposed to only one. Not all “birthers” believe that Barack Obama was born in Kenya. In fact, many believe that this is somewhat irrelevant. Many, like myself, believe that since Barack Obama, Sr. was not a citizen of the United States when Barack Obama, Jr. was born that our President may be a “citizen” but that he is a not a “natural born citizen” and thus ineligible to hold the office of President.
Though it is doubtful that you will see any American owned media outlets devoting programs to this debate (seems highly unlikely six years later), Richard Syrett of The Conspiracy Show decided to go where American media refuses to. He devoted an entire episode of his program to this debate and it aired Monday on Canadian television.

The host says Birthers that conclude a natural born Citizen is one born on U.S. soil to two U.S. citizen parents (Vattel) stand on pretty solid ground but notes the other side could provide a compelling counter-argument (Blackstone). Syrett said to dismiss Birthers as racist is extremely unfair. He also believes evidence suggesting Obama’s birth certificate is a forgery is not conclusive but says it deserves further investigation and serious media scrutiny. Syrett warned viewers that if Obama is not eligible and he forged his birth certificate the United States would be plunged into a constitutional crisis unparalleled in its history. The debate over the definition of “natural born citizen” has largely been in trying to determine the intentions of our founders. Both sides can roll out historical court decisions to seemingly support their case, but I prefer to start at the beginning. What is perceived as true in 2014 was not necessarily true in 1790. I always encourage people to do their own research. However, in the course of that research I would suggest that you start with our first congress. My interpretation is that BOTH parents must be citizens to create a “natural born citizen.” If not then why the distinction between a simple “citizen” and a “natural born citizen?”
It is a logical question.
For what it is worth I don’t believe that Ted Cruz is eligible either, but you should do your own research and come to your own conclusions.
America will not grow stronger until people begin to think for and educate themselves.
