THE NIMROD TECHNOLOGY

Many people have heard the quote from Britain’s Victorian Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli when he said that the world is governed by very different personages from what is imagined by those who are not behind the scenes. One should keep that in mind as they wind their way through the darkest pages of conspiracy history.
There are many in this world that are well aware of the convoluted history of the secret societies and their occult practices. Some of them include the Rosicrucians, the Knights Templar, the Illuminati, the Freemasons, the P2 Lodge, the Priory of Zion and the CIA.
However in the beginning there were the Masonic Brotherhoods.
Nimrod was a king of the great city and it is still questioned as to whether or not he was just a product of mythology in the bible because he is merely a cameo figure who was a stone mason that declared himself king of the world.
For a Cameo figure, he influenced a lot of biblical prophecy and may be responsible for the organization of many secret societies that may sound familiar to those who are aware of such things.
Tradition states that Nimrod established a secret fraternity of builders. This is what is known as the ancient brotherhood of masons. According to traditional mythology Nimrod organized this order to build a great Tower. The reason for this construction was that Nimrod wanted to contact God.
He wanted to leave the Earth, and in other mythologies Nimrod was a great hunter and it was theorized that Nimrod was not the hunter of animals but the hunter of men. Religious myth says that Nimrod wanted to be God and so in order to do so he had to build a tower and then when he saw God he would aim his bow and sleigh God.
This bold attempt to crash heaven, or create a space tower to God’s presence was punished with total destruction of the tower as well as the confusion of languages.
Undaunted, Nimrod’s stonemasons were appointed to construct the Temple of King Solomon.
The temples were built as places where secret ordinances and rituals could be carried out. People went to the temple in order to learn about ancient wisdom and occult symbolism. It was a literal secret school where the secrets of the universe were revealed. The officiator would give histories, covenants and declare blood oaths as certain secrets of sacred geometry were given and the patrons were warned not to reveal these secrets to anyone who was not a fellow mason.
The inaugural ranks of Masonry were established, that of "Entered Apprentice", "Fellow Craftsman" and "Master Mason.”
While in these temples special clothing was worn, such as aprons, breastplates of precious metals, an "Ephod" and miter worn by the officiator.
The only explanation I can find to describe temple vestments for these secret ceremonies is in Exodus where Aaron wore the temple vestments which were described as a breastplate; a robe; a fringed tunic; a headdress, which included a gold plate hanging down on the priest's forehead, and a sash.
On the shoulder, pieces of the "Ephod," which was made of gold, blue, purple, and crimson yarns, were two stones with the twelve tribes of Israel engraved on them. The names were carved in reverse thus creating a seal that could be used to imprint these names in rituals. Also, one imagines that the flashy colors of the engraved gemstones had a hypnotic, evocative effect as well as they summoned God in their rituals. These took place in the Temple of Solomon, which was built on the Earth's alleged "foundation stone" (according to Jewish belief), and is meant to act as a gateway to Heaven.
Similar stories are told about the tomb of "Christian Rosenkreutz," the founding sage of Rosicrucianism, who is supposedly buried there in a death-like sleep waiting to be awakened. There is a Rosicrucian ritual, preserved in the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, that describes the interior of the tomb, said to be located "in the center of the Earth" and lit by an "artificial sun." Tracy Twyman explains the layout of the ritual chamber in her article The Real Tomb of God, written for Dagobert's Revenge, where she discusses the Adeptus Minor ritual of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.

In this ritual the aspirant is made to pretend that he is in fact the discoverer of Rosenkreutz’s tomb... The tomb, says the ritual, has seven sides, upon which are written “emblems”, etched on colored squares that appear to the naked eye to be “flashing.” Behind each of these flashing squares is found a drawer, each one containing a part of the sacred mystery writings which are the “Corpus Rosicianicum” of the Brotherhood.

Masons, Rosicrucians, Templars, Mormons and others who are familiar with the secrets of “the rituals” realize that these rituals are allegedly thousands of years old and they are in place to develop a sort of union amongst those who are of one mind, with one ideal, with one purpose. It all boils down to a virtual takeover of that ideal or purpose and to control and manipulate to bring about a certain goal.
Benevolent goals or malevolent goals?
It’s up for debate.
There are those that argue that this is Satanic blasphemy and has its roots in pagan ritual, and therefore is a an evil plot to control governments, religions, elections, constitutions, banking, business and the list can go on.
After the Tower Of Babel the ancient Old Testament texts say nothing about any type of attempt to harness cosmic power and use it as a weapon or a way to communicate to God.
The apocryphal Book of Jasher recounts details about the Tower of Babel that are quite insightful and alarming when one considers the implications of a civilization that may have been technologically humble at the societal level, but advanced in terms of being in reach of some kind cosmic scale technology or weapon of mass destruction; a result of the scattered, or perhaps lost technology from the antediluvian world. No matter the finer details of how such a technology or science might have looked in the days before the great flood, the greater point is to recognize that we are living in the days of Babel once again, where some kind of technology and science will redefine our world and spark a new age, and with it a new level of power than man can wield to destroy itself.
The Book of Jasher also records the destruction of the tower itself, soon after the dispersion of the people:

And as to the tower which the sons of men built, the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up one third part thereof, and a fire also descended from heaven and burned another third, and the other third is left to this day, and it is of that part which was aloft, and its circumference is three days’ walk.

Here, we see God bury a third of the tower, burning a third of the tower by reigning fire down from Heaven.
Back in 1952, just seven years after WW2 and early in the development of the breakaway civilization, the Conseil Européen pour la Recherche Nucléaire, or more commonly referred to as CERN (Council for Nuclear Research) was formed. The mandate of the group was to establish a world class fundamental physics research and organization in Europe. CERN has come a long way since the idea to formulate such a group was proposed back in 1949 when the focus was purely on understanding the inside of the atom, hence the name nuclear. Today, its main focus has been on particle physics, which includes looking at antimatter, and searching for the Higgs Boson, more commonly known as the “God Particle.” In order to conduct this research, its main tool has been the LHC or the Large Hadron Collider. What’s interesting to note is the size of this world-renowned particle accelerator:
The LHC consists of a 27-kilometre ring of superconducting magnets with a number of accelerating structures to boost the energy of the particles along the way. Inside the accelerator, two high-energy particle beams travel at close to the speed of light before they are made to collide. The beams travel in opposite directions in separate beam pipes –- two tubes kept at ultrahigh vacuum. They are guided around the accelerator ring by a strong magnetic field maintained by superconducting electromagnets. The electromagnets are built from coils of special electric cable that operates in a superconducting state, efficiently conducting electricity without resistance or loss of energy. This requires chilling the magnets to ‑271.3°C -- a temperature colder than outer space. For this reason, much of the accelerator is connected to a distribution system of liquid helium, which cools the magnets, as well as to other supply services.
It is interesting that they would create conditions colder than space itself; however, the more pressing issue is the size of this accelerator. With a circumference of 27 kilometers, or 16.777 miles, this is a fairly large construction for simply testing particle beams. Furthermore, aside from trying to recreate the conditions of the Big Bang, the folks at CERN are quite literally trying to rip into the fabric of space-time and see into other dimensions. In an article published on January 1, 2013 by the The Guardian titled, Higgs boson was just a start for CERN’s atom smasher -- other mysteries await, Andy Parker, a professor of high energy physics at Cambridge is quoted as saying:

“What you’d expect is that as you reach the right energy, you suddenly see inside the extra dimensions, and gravity becomes big and strong instead of feeble and weak…There could be a whole universe full of galaxies and stars and civilizations and newspapers that we didn’t know about…That would be a big deal.”

In an article published by The Telegraph in 2008 titled “Time travelers from the future ‘could be here in weeks,’” coinciding the launch of the LHC, many comments about the potential of this device creating wormholes were made. In one such example:

“Prof Aref’eva and Dr Volovich believe the LHC could create wormholes and so allow a form of time travel. ‘We realized that closed time like curves and wormholes could also be a result of collisions of particles,’ Prof Aref’eva says.

Then there was the mention from the website ScienceGuardian.com in an article titled “CERN Challenges the gods,” that there are apparently, “three dangers inherent in the CERN insistence on going full speed ahead despite all the warning signals: strangelets turning the planet into a smoking asteroid the size of a baseball park, a micro black hole swallowing the earth from the core outwards, if not the sun, and/or the generation of a huge amount of energy equivalent to a thermonuclear bomb per second.”
Hollywood has attempted to show how us just how powerful and dangerous a facility like CERN can be. One of the few examples TV shows and films dealing with the power of CERN or a collider was the one season TV series “Flash Forward.” The series revolves around the lives of several people as a mysterious event causes nearly everyone on the planet to simultaneously lose consciousness for two minutes and seventeen seconds on October 6, 2009. During this blackout, people see what appear to be visions of their lives on April 29, 2010, a global "flash-forward" six months into the future.
It turns out the mysterious event is the powering up of a large supercollider.
There is also a supercollider that creates the horror in the movie Stephen King movie The Mist. The Arrowhead Project, being carried out in a military facility opens a doorway to another dimension which allows in flying serpents, mantis-looking insects and other frightening creatures through the portal and they eventually invade New England.
Though it was never made certain in either the novella or the finished film whether or not the Arrowhead Project truly was what released the Mist and the creatures in it into our universe, the original script for the film included a prologue scene. In it, the scientists and military at the Arrowhead Project base successfully opened a portal to another dimension inside a tank.
However, lightning from the storm struck the base, causing the portal to begin to expand and the Mist and the creatures began to pour through. Despite the Arrowhead Project personnel's attempts to close the portal, the creatures broke out of the tank which the portal was contained in, allowing the Mist to flood into the base and then presumably begin to spread across the country.
The creatures were everywhere attempting to destroy the world.
On the Campus of CERN is Shiva the Destroyer of Worlds. Shiva is the same or the equivalent to the Babylonian Bel. Bel is "another name for the horned god Baal," and the name Satan was also used to describe the God Baal. The magnetic helioscope used at CERN was called SATAN. SATAN was an acronym for the Solar Axion Telescopic Antenna.
CERN is located in Geneva. Geneva and "Saint Geniis" are similar to the word "Genesis.” The purpose of CERN is to find the Origins of Man and the Universe. They want to open a doorway to another dimension and find God. CERN can also be taken from the ancient term Cernunnos meaning the horned one. It makes one question the true purpose of CERN and what God or power they wish to harness.
Some believe that this indicates that the mission of CERN is to open a hole or abyss and bring back Apollyon. Apollyon or Apollo is the god of destruction.
Nostradamus may have predicted a possible wormhole or electronic vortex event in Geneva when he wrote in Century 9, Quatrain 4:

“Leave, leave Geneva every last one of you, Saturn (Satan) will be converted from gold to iron, RAYPOZ will exterminate all who oppose him, Before the coming the sky will show signs.”

Many people have tried to interpret RAYPOZ as being the name of the antichrist. But as you can see CERN has used SATURN/ SATAN or CERNUNNOS as a RAY BASED POSITRON SOURCE. This power can be used against the Earth.
Could there be an underlying agenda to bring through a dimensional doorway entitles that can be described as “aliens” when in reality they are demonic entities brought forth from the underworld?
Imagine the real tangible appearance of entities that do not belong in this world. Imagine how the possibility could be abused and the fear of such entities would create a need for a world entity to combat the menace.
We now can see that the there are some very curious things about the ancient Tower of Babel concerning what they were building, why they were building it, and who might have assisted in the development of such technology. The implications suggest that there was help from the “Watchers,” “Aliens,” Demons or other forms of intelligence that guided in the process. And while this idea echoes throughout ancient mythologies, it is remarkable to consider the possibility that something very similar is happening today.
Could the development of such devices as the Large Hadron Collider be a strong indication, that we live in the times before Noah, where cosmic technology may have existed and mankind was in contact with fallen angels?
CERN has now thrust us into discovering an occult science that can be seen as dangerous as it literally is meant to cut through the veil of dimensions giving it the power of a stargate.
Some people actually believe that the use of the Large Hadron Collider could trigger or force the return of Jesus Christ to the earth.
In essence the powers of the world are using their machinery and occult rituals to build a better antichrist presence on the planet and insure that the people will follow the administration of the new order blindly and fully as they fear a demonic world.
The intelligence corps that has kept secrets regarding a possible demonic alien presence from us knows exactly when and how to implement the reality for their own proposes.
We may receive information telling us that the time barrier has been conquered and that the dimensions will reveal that there are more things in Heaven and Earth that can be dreamt of in any philosophy -- or any dimension.
The future will be forged with new revelation, wonder and a war of what we should or should not be doing with our scientific leaps.

THOR’S HAMMER: WRATH FROM ON HIGH

As we look out the window of what can be the eternal ice storm that has been called winters last blast I found it quite interesting that the national weather service has named the latest winter storm Thor.
As you may know it was just a few weeks ago that we had reported the ascension of Jupiter in the night sky and warned of the temporal window opening as Jupiter the god that is often compared to Odin is the signal to watch and understand the movements of political and parapolitical entities as a highly charged temporal gate may reveal wrath from on high.
While there are always clusters of intertwined events that influence or otherwise catch our attention the metaphor of the hammer of the gods will be thrown to the earth with such force causing the earth to shake and rock. There is at the moment a curious increase of volcanism on display as many sleeping volcanoes are opening up showing the wrath of Mother Nature.
Back in the days when the world’s attention wasn’t entirely transfixed by the color of a dress, there was another mystery afoot, of a grander and, some would say, more frightening scale. It was July of 2014, and a 250-foot crater had appeared, seemingly out of nowhere, in Siberia’s Yamal peninsula.
Scientists were immediately dispatched to investigate, and soon arrived at a likely explanation: the hole, they reported, is most likely a natural geological phenomenon.
Russian scientists secretly were baffled and many of them were frightened. Ironically, the site in Yamal where the hole was detected was a place that when translated means “The gate to the end of the world.”
There was first, the possibility that pockets of methane have built up under the earth and that it finds way to blast open a hole leaving a very deep chasm.
Experts say that the darkening around the inner rim of the crater indicates "severe burning" which scorched its edges. There have been theories that a Large UFO may have caused the crater or something hurled from space at hyper-speed has impacted the earth.
On June 30, 1908 a bolide streaked across the sky in the region near the Tunguska River in Russia. When it exploded, the airburst leveled more than 2,000 square kilometers of trees.
It is now known as the Tunguska event. This particular region of Russia is extremely remote so the damage was limited to trees and other local flora and fauna. But the impact is estimated to have been on the order of 10 -15 megatons. If it had occurred over a major city, the bolide would have destroyed it as surely as dropping a modern nuclear weapon. A similar sized event occurred in Arizona 40,000 years ago, and produced a crater a kilometer wide.
Meteor impacts are known to occur from time to time on Earth, such as the Chelyabinsk meteor 0f 2013, but impacts the size of Tunguska are fortunately quite rare. It’s estimated that events of that scale only occur about once every 300 years. So imagine if such an event occurred every 5 years or so.
Every few years, and some part of the planet gets a crater, or an airburst. Most would be in remote areas, but some wouldn’t. Of course we know that meteors follow a power law distribution in size distribution. So for every Tunguska event, there would be thousands of events like what happened in Chelyabinsk.
We could be witnessing a phenomenon where we could have 200 fireball events a year and one could be damaging to a major city.
Now we can skim down the odds by saying we could see the flash and the explosion. We would not have to experience impact to see devastation and what we really don’t want are the larger rocks that form the type of craters that are now forming in Siberia.
The gate at the end of the world was just the beginning. As the spring equinox approached we may witness the shaking and grandiose lightshow provided by what was called anciently “pieces of Thor’s hammer.”
In Siberia alone there have seven craters that have been identified, five of which are located on the Yamal peninsula and one which is surrounded by as many as 20 mini-craters. Two have since become lakes.
The question is we seeing the Thor’s hammer phenomenon as pieces of rock are impacting the planet? Is it methane blowing out holes in the planet? Or is it a result of the melting permafrost suggested by global warming scientists.
Just after World War II there was a great deal of fear about old Norse prophecy and the theory about how Ragnarok (the Norse Version of the end of the world) would happen. Believe it or not it was Japan that pushed the idea that the United States not only had the power to scorch the earth with the atomic bomb, they also believed that we had the capability of freezing an entire land mass with a bomb.
In Nazi Germany, it was Welteislehre, a cosmic ice theory developed by an refrigeration engineer named Hanns Hoerbiger that threw out past scientific ideas for what is now called junk science and an almost cult like interest ice age theories and prophecies.
His theories about the delicate balance between fire and ice in the universe were similar to the Thule mythologies that talk about new orders or new ages are brought forth from destruction. The cosmic ice theory postulates that from the ice came the giants. These Giants would rise from the earth out of gates or holes that had the power to bring forth the gods from other dimensions.
It is unclear whether these gods were aliens or similar to what Hitler thought were the Aryan supermen.
Hoerbigers theories were very similar to Immanuel Velikovsky’s, and were also the basis for many of the “blood and soil laws” that Nazi Germany enacted to preserve the ecosystem. These of course were very similar to several "global warming" theories you may have heard of already.
In fact there were several of the high ranking Nazis, including Hitler that were curious if smoke trails left behind by planes and rocket tests might not interfere with the delicate balance between fire and ice theories proposed by Hoerbiger and cause a global catastrophe.
Hoerbiger also proposed that the earth could return to its glacial state if the gravity of the Earth captured an extra terrestrial object such as a moon ,comet or large asteroid, which then orbits until it spirals in on the Earth and causes a global disaster.
It was Hoerbiger that proclaimed that our ancestors lived in the ice and were supermen. He claimed that other planets are the same and that eventually the planet would eventually become a glacial paradise again.
Even though science laughed at Hoerbiger some of his speculations turned out to be correct.
We know that Saturn's rings are made of ice and that the outer planets of our solar system have significant amounts of ice on their surface. Comets are bodies made of ice, whose collision over the years with the Earth are responsible for the modern abundance of water on this planet.
We also know that Near earth objects may be responsible for many of the catastrophes we have heard about in ancient history. Comets and huge asteroids brushing by the earth have always been thought of as harbingers of cataclysms.
The Epic of Gilgamesh describes that before the great flood, fire came down from heaven and changed the flow of the waters. In fact many scientists say that a lot of these events probably took place around 2350 B.C.
At this time some of the greatest civilizations collapsed.
Rabbi Moses Ben Nachman, wrote about the flood as well. He explained that God took two stars from Khima and threw them at the earth in order to begin the great flood. Mongolian legends spoke of near-earth objects and called them "the daughters of the devil," and warned of destruction, storm and frost, whenever one approached the earth.
In 1828 David Milne, a young British astronomer won Edinburgh University's astronomy-prize with his "Essay on Comets." The astronomer wrote about astronomical research and discoveries that lead to the sound theory of NEO appearances and their catastrophic effects on our planet:

But if a comet, moving with the prodigious velocity which it acquires near its perihelion, should chance to strike a planet, as for instance the Earth, then coming in an opposite direction, the consequences would be truly disastrous.
The waters of the ocean, now attracted by the close approach and next driven from their ancient beds by the contact of the comet, would sweep over the face of the globe, covering even the highest mountains in their impetuous course, and involving all things in undistinguishable ruin.
Whole species of plants and animals, existing in different quarters of the Earth, would, by this cataclysm, be at once overwhelmed and annihilated.

This week, Space.com reported that a Department of Defense satellite exploded on February 3rd, creating a debris field of 43 objects.
By some mystical stroke of bad luck the 13th in a 1990s-era project called the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program, designed to give the Department of Defense weather data and atmospheric conditions in combat zones broke up into pieces.
The DMSP-13 relayed flight conditions for Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
According to the Air Force, the satellite died of natural causes: "a catastrophic event associated with a power system failure." After all, it was 20 years old (though considering that the oldest satellite still orbiting and intact is 57, it was still a premature death).
The military, however, cannot explain that just before that satellite died, it actually spiked in temperature.
What caused the spike in heat? Perhaps magnetically-charged energy from a weapon or from the sun? Was it a victim of a magnetic reconnection due to disruptions in the magnetosphere?
Disturbances in the Earth’s ionosphere and magnetosphere can be caused by NEOs passing close to earth. Comets, meteors asteroids can all affect space weather and harm satellites.
There is also another possible answer as to why we are seeing all of this strange activity in heaven and on earth and that is Scientists have now been testing the Large Hadron Super Collider at CERN.
The “God Particle,” also known as the “Higgs Boson,” was a missing piece in the jigsaw for physicists in trying to understand how the universe works.
Scientists believe that a fraction of a second after the Big Bang that gave birth to the universe, an invisible energy field, called the “Higgs Field,” formed.
This has been described as a kind of “cosmic treacle” across the universe.
As particles passed through it, they picked up mass, giving them size and shape and allowing them to form the atoms that make up you, everything around you and everything in the universe.
This was the theory proposed in 1964 by former grammar school boy Professor Higgs that has now been confirmed.
Without the Higgs field particles would simply whiz around space in the same way as light does.
A boson is a type of sub-atomic particle. Every energy field has a specific particle that governs its interaction with what's around it.
To try to pin it down, scientists at the Large Hadron Collider near Geneva smashed together beams of protons -- the “hearts of atoms” -- at close to the speed of light, recreating conditions that existed a fraction of a second after the Big Bang.
Although they would rapidly decay, many scientists have warned us that there can be risks of mini quarks and other side effects. Scientists have hypothesized that CERN’s impact on the earth is creating seismic perturbations, spikes in the magnetosphere, and may be responsible for the various sink holes including the ones seen in Siberia.
Once again it has to be indicated that CERN is located in Geneva. Geneva and “Saint Geniis” are similar to the word “Genesis.” The purpose of CERN is to find the Origins of Man and the Universe. They have stated that they want to open a doorway to another dimension and find a God. Is it just a coincidence that CERN is short for the horned God Cernunnos? Is it also a coincidence that CERN has to go deep underground to do their “god” harnessing experiments? Cernunnos was the god of the underworld.
CERN is linked to several secret projects being carried out by the European Union and the European Trilateral Commission. CERN also is responsible for the internet and have been doing ongoing research for governments with regard to global sustainability.
It was also reported that in 1999 CERN proposed and carried out quantum Vortex experiments searching for Solar Axions. Axions are hypothetical particles that are components of dark matter. In order to find these Axions CERN proposed the use of a decommissioned magnet called “SATAN.”
It was an acronym for Solar Axion Telescopic Antenna.
One of the attempts at creating a portal anchor happened in an area where there is rumored to be an ancient stargate in the real ancient Babylon, Iraq.
On September 8th, 2008 something happened in the Iraqi city of Al Hilla. This is rumored to be a city where a stargate exists. It was reported that there was a cover up where nearly 20 American troops died as they attempted to cross through a gate conduit between the Collider at CERN and one of the anchor gates at Al Hilla. According the mainstream news reports the soldiers committed mass suicide.
However one of the peculiarities reported in Fars News agency was that Iraqi security sources reported that 21 US troops had committed suicide inside a former Iraqi air force base, the 21 troops were treated in a hospital but only five soldiers survived and wound up missing. Narcotics were allegedly used in the suicides.
The servicemen belonged to a unit of the US Airborne Division. The question is how did so many soldiers have access to potent narcotics and what happened to the five survivors?
A witness reported that the bodies of the US troops were hideously deformed and misshapen in such a way that they looked like 5000-year old mummies.
On September 11th, 2008 it was reported that the collider officially went online on September 10th with a test firing.
The press reported that nothing significant happened and there was no danger and no end of the world. However, a strong earthquake measuring 6.1 in magnitude struck southern Iran.
Then it was reported that Northern Chile was struck with a 6.0 tremor. Then a magnitude 6.9 earthquake rattled Japan and then within minutes of a magnitude 6.6 earthquakes hit Indonesia.
The collider wasn’t even at full power.
Now in 2015 CERN will be firing up before the spring equinox at double the power.
According to a blog post titled, “‘Big Bang’ Begins March 2015 – Will Gates Of Hell Soon Open To The Destruction Of All Creation” from All News Pipeline an alarm was raised of impending doom with the report that two prominent and respected scientists, Stephen Hawking and Neil de Grasse Tyson, “have recently issued independent warnings” that the experiments could lead to doomsday.
Once again it is important and chilling to see that we could have the wrath of fire to go along with that ice. Something as simple as calling a major snowstorm Thor can trigger doomsday thoughts of Ragnarok.

While Wyoming is a very rural state with a rich agricultural history, it’s not exactly a breadbasket. Between the high elevation and the long winters, growing food is quite a challenge. Despite being the least populated state in America, and having more land than you can shake a stick at, they still have to import food for much of the year.
That’s why several residents from Jackson, Wyoming decided to build a massive vertical greenhouse in their downtown area. After running a successful Kickstarter campaign, and receiving a grant from the state, they’re set to open their facility by the end of the year.
The structure will be built along the side of a parking garage, and only take up about 1/10th of an acre. They’ll be using hydroponics to cut down on water usage, and they’ve created a unique carousel system to rotate their crops throughout the day, allowing each plant to receive plenty of sunlight in a limited space. Despite the energy needed to run the carousel, it will probably save electricity that would have been spent on UV lights.
All told, these methods are expected grow 100,000 lbs of fresh produce every year. According to their website, this will be the equivalent of growing on 5 acres using traditional (i.e. big agra) farming techniques. When it’s finished, it’ll look something like this.
You may be wondering what this has to do with prepping. After all, most people don’t have the resources or connections to build such a project.
What’s important to take from this, is that as preppers, we do what we do because the society we live in has a serious lack of preparedness. We know our communities and most of our neighbors will never take the time and energy to make themselves self-sufficient by any measure. It’s up to us do that on an individual basis.
This vertical farm is what community wide preparedness would look like. If our society was serious about sustainability, and reluctant to rely on an aging and vulnerable infrastructure for its needs, greenhouses like this would be everywhere.
