1. The Pearl High School shooting

Oct. 1, 1997
Luke Woodham fatally stabbed and bludgeoned his mother and went on to kill two students and injure seven others at his high school. Woodham was stopped by Assistant Principal Joel Myrick, a U.S. Army Reserve commander, who detained Woodham by using a .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol he kept in his truck, until authorities could show up.

Myrick stopped Woodham from going across the street to the middle school.

2. The Parker Middle School dance shooting

April 24, 1998
Andrew Wurst showed up to his middle school dance with his .25-caliber pistol. He fired it, killing a teacher, wounding a second one, and injuring two students. The 14-year-old’s shoot-out lasted about 20 minutes. It was ended when James Strand, the owner of the banquet hall the dance was happening in, confronted Wurst with his personal shotgun. He ordered Wurst to drop his weapon and held the teenager in place for 11 minutes before finally getting him to drop the weapon and lie on the ground, and then searched him for other weapons.

3. The Appalachian School of Law shooting

Jan. 16, 2002
A 43-year-old Nigerian former student named Peter Odighizuwa arrived on campus with a handgun. There are different variations of the story, but according to eyewitness accounts, law students Tracy Bridges, a county sheriff’s deputy, and Mikael Gross, a police officer, ran to their cars after hearing gunshots and grabbed personally owned firearms. They approached Odighizuwa, ordering him to drop his firearm; he did and was subdued by unarmed students.

Three people were killed and three others were wounded.

4. The New Life Church shooting

Dec. 9, 2007
A former police officer from Minnesota named Jeanne Assam was at church when a 24-year-old gunman named Matthew Murray began firing at parishioners in the parking lot. Murray claimed two victims before Assam opened fire on him with her personally owned concealed weapon. After receiving multiple hits from Assam, Murray then shot himself.

5. The Trolley Square shooting

Feb. 12, 2007
Sulejman Talović killed five people and wounded four others in 2007 when he began firing in a public square in Salt Lake City, Utah. He carried a shotgun and a backpack of ammunition. He was eventually stopped in a shoot-out involving Salt Lake City Police Department SWAT that took place in a Pottery Barn Kids. He was cornered, however, by off-duty police officer Kenneth Hammond, who held him in position before authorities could arrive.

Hammond ran on scene after hearing gunshots fire out while having an early Valentine’s Day dinner with his pregnant wife at a local restaurant.

6. The Golden Market shooting

The details are murky but according to reports, a man entered a Golden Market in Virginia in 2009 and began firing a gun. He shot and wounded the clerk and then began firing at patrons inside. He ran out of ammo and was attempting to reload when he was shot, wounded, and then subdued by a permit holder who happened to be in the store.

7. The New York Mills AT&T store shooting

Off-duty police officer Donald J. Moore stopped Abraham Dickan, a 79-year-old man who decided to shoot up an AT&T store in New York Mills, New York. Moore was in the store when Dickan entered brandishing a .357 magnum and a hit list of employees he planned to kill in his pocket. Moore heard Dickan’s gun go off, drew his own personal weapon, and killed Dickan on scene.

One AT&T employee was injured in the shooting.

8. The Clackamas Town Center shooting

Dec. 11, 2012
Two people were killed and a third was seriously wounded in Clackamas County, Oregon, when Jacob Roberts opened fire in a local shopping mall. Nick Meli, a shopper in the mall, drew a personally owned firearm on Roberts, who then retreated. Meli did not fire his weapon, for fear of striking bystanders.

9. The San Antonio Theater shooting

In December of last year, gunfire broke out in a San Antonio movie theater. Moviegoers rushed to exits and ducked for cover as a lone gunman, Jesus Manuel Garcia, began shooting in a China Garden that spilled over into an attached movie complex. The San Antonio Police Department were fired at by the gunman and had to evacuate and seal off the complex.

The gunman was eventually shot and struck by an off-duty police officer, Lisa Castellano, who was working at the theater that night.

Buzzfeed, Slate, Mother Jones and NPR, and all ran mass shootings articles this week in the wake of the Navy Yard shooting that killed 12, which was followed by the Nairobi mall attack that killed at least 39. As to be expected, the data in the critical articles are taken out of context and are being used to push the gun control agenda. According to Pew Research, only 12% of the public knows that gun crime is down and 56% (falsely) believe it is higher.
Human beings have agency and are able to decide if they use objects in their environments to commit acts of violence; but statists prefer to dismiss human action and blame objects and the environment for violence — in order to gain control of all three. SHARE to give people the big picture!

A former CIA gun runner revealed that the U.S. Ambassador to Libya, J. Christopher Stevens, was killed in the Sept. 11, 2012 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi in order to cover up the U.S. State Department’s direct arm shipments to al-Qaeda.

William Robert “Tosh” Plumlee started his career as a CIA contract pilot in the late 1950s, delivering guns and ammunition on behalf of the agency to Fidel Castro.

Plumlee confirmed that such arm deals are still common today, with the State Dept. shipping arms to al-Qaeda via the CIA.

During an interview with Alex Jones, Plumlee pointed out that Pat Smith, the mother of an information management officer also killed during the Benghazi attack, received little information from the Obama administration about her son’s murder.

“I began to wonder ‘why won’t they tell her anything?’” He asked. “Then a contact of mine in the Middle East, a high-ranking NATO official, mentioned to me that he had reports that the ambassador [J. Christopher Stevens] had been complaining about the dispatches and cables that he had got from the State Department about the weapons being received and [Islamic] radicals armed, including Stinger missiles.”

According to Plumlee, Steven was ordered to stand down after he asked the State Dept. what he should do about the American arm shipments to al-Qaeda.

“The ambassador and his people had written a series of field reports and cable dispatches advising our State Department that the rebel factions had been armed with U.S. weapons,” he said. “Now my contention is this: if that is the case, why is that classified as a national security matter?”

Plumlee mentioned that Steven’s field notes have not been released by the State Dept.

These revelations suggest that after Stevens told the State Dept. that he did not want al-Qaeda receiving heat seeking missiles, he was killed in the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi which was designed to take out witnesses to the arms transfer and to suppress Stevens’s reports.

The Obama administration then blamed the attack entirely on Islamic protestors enraged by the film Innocence of Muslims while refusing to answer why U.S. special forces were ordered not to aid Stevens and others during the assault.

The missiles in question, as well as the other weapons given to al-Qaeda, were transported to Libya by C-130s under the Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) program, which operates within the State Dept.

As explained by New York Times best-selling author and former journalist Jim Marrs, the DCS program oversees the shipment of U.S. weapons and training to countries around the world.

Through its own internal investigations, the State Dept. admitted that firearms supplied by the DCS have ended up in the hands of foreign enemies.

Tying it all together, Plumlee stated that the weapons given to al-Qaeda were “U.S. made weapons that came from the DCS program, illegally transported by C-130s” into countries such as Turkey and Jordan and were “dispatched from CIA safe houses to the Syrian rebels.”

As we have documented in the past, the Syrian rebels are predominantly al-Qaeda fighters who want to overthrow President Bashar al-Assad in order to install an Islamic state in Syria.

If al-Qaeda controls Syria, other nations could easily take advantage of the ensuring chaos and Syria’s reduced sovereignty by extracting trillions of dollars in oil revenue from the country.

The Syrian rebels led by the Jabhat al-Nusra Front, the direct offshoot of al-Qaeda in Iraq, were described as the “most effective fighting force in Syria” after filling the void left by the secular Free Syrian Army.

Suffering from severe shortages in weapons and supplies, the Free Syrian Army began losing soldiers to the better armed and equipped al-Nusra Front.

Now it is known why the al-Nusra Front, and al-Qaeda worldwide, never seem to lack arms: they are receiving weapon shipments directly from the State Dept.

THE 3-D PRINTING/TRANSHUMANIST SCRAPBOOK: CONSTRUCTION, TERRESTRIAL AND OTHERWISE

Regulars here will have noted I’ve been following the story of 3d printing and how it’s being “spun” or hyped in various media outlets, and certainly academia would qualify as one such “authoritative” source for the 3d printing meme. Regulars will also note that I have suggested a connection to the scenario of an elite-oligarchical retrenchment into North America, and much more importantly, of the connection between 3d printing and space.
Well, according to these articles forwarded to me by Ms. P.H.(to whom a big thank you for sharing them here), others are noting the vast changes within society that the developing technology heralds, this time, for construction both on, and off, Earth:

You’ll note one common feature of both articles, and that is the coming ability of 3d printing to handle complex construction tasks, and thereby to reduce (in the case of space radiation shielding) the mass required for adequate shielding. And you’ll noticed something else, very subtle but definitely in play in the first article: the ability of 3d printing – so we are reassured – to house many now homeless people much more quickly and cheaply, and the ability to dispense with large and costly construction crews.  Labor costs down = housing costs down. But that also equals more obsolescence in the work force.
It’s this latter point that makes me strongly suspect that the 3d-printing meme is an elite-driven meme, deliberately introduced at this time, in the wake of the exposure of vast corruption in the financial markets, and growing cynicism to governments and “free trade” policies and their disastrous influence on labor in the past few decades, for accompanying this drive to bring the new technology to people’s attention is an equal, though subtler drive, to promote it as a “career choice” for college-bound students. This is the clearest indicator that the financial oligarchy is both driving, and preparing for, the massive cultural change that will result from the new technology. After all, the idea has been public for a while, but now it is being promoted.
But as always, it is the space aspect of the technology that intrigues me, for it is this capability that, I strongly suspect, may lie at the secret heart of the agenda being promoted; here’s the relevant passages from the first article:

In other words, one is looking at a technology with the potential to make human outposts on nearby celestial neighbors a much more cost effective proposition, and that, my friends, spells space collateralization…

Wash. State Lawsuit: Anti-GMO Labeling Group Laundering Donation Money

According to a “Moms for Labeling” lawsuit filed in the Thurston County Superior Court last week, the Grocery Manufacturers Association has laundered donation money for its big corporate members that wish to hide their opposition to Washington state’s GMO labeling initiative.
“Donations to the (anti) Initiative 522 campaign are being laundered through the Grocery Manufacturers Association, the world’s largest association of food, beverage and consumer products companies,” the lawsuit reads. “The GMA has made a special appeal to its members in the form of a voluntary special assessment to fund the No on 522 campaign.”
Organizations that raise money to influence ballot measures in Washington state are required by law to register as political action committees. According to the lawsuit, the GMA has avoided doing so in order to hide which companies are donating under its name.
After receiving information from sources within companies associated with the GMA, Moms for Labeling believes companies are trying to avoid public backlash similar to what was seen after GMA members like PepsiCo, Nestle, Coca-Cola and Kraft donated millions to defeat California’s labeling proposition. Moms for Labeling has already begun to gather admissible evidence from their sources to present to the court.
“These out-of-state food companies are hiding their campaign contributors just like they’re hiding what’s in our food,” Moms for Labeling member Karen Andonian said.
The No on 522 campaign has brought in more than $11.6 million so far, $2.2 million of which came from the GMA. While the opposition has brought in much more than Yes on 522′s $4.3 million, the difference between those making the donations is quite staggering. While Yes on 522 has brought in more than $100,000 in small donations, their opposition has only received $50 in small contributions, with the rest being divided among companies like Monsanto, Dupont and Bayer.
Despite the millions in corporate money to sway public opinion, a recent Elway Poll found that 66 percent of Washington residents plan on voting for the upcoming labeling initiate. National polls have found that more than 93 percent of the country approves of similar labeling requirements when it comes to genetically modified food.

20th Century Fox Sues ‘Impatient’ Homeland Pirates

In Germany several major Hollywood studios are cashing in on BitTorrent pirates, charging hundreds of euros for illegally downloaded movies and TV-shows. While the studios have the right to protect their work, the efforts are double-barreled as they regularly hit the most engaged fans who have few options to watch the content legally. 20th Century Fox’s campaign against “Homeland” downloaders is a prime example.
German Internet subscribers can be held liable for almost everything that goes on via their connections, with or without their knowledge.
As a result, copyright holders have started hundreds of thousands of lawsuits against alleged pirates, demanding settlements ranging from a few hundred to thousands of euros.
In Germany these “trolling” ventures have attracted the attention of the major Hollywood studios. 20th Century Fox, Universal Pictures and Warner Bros Entertainment are actively patrolling the Internet for people who download their work without permission.
The studios use similar monitoring tools as they do in the United States, where file-sharers are approached outside of court with a slap on the wrist or a $20 fine. In Germany, however, the stakes are much higher.
For example, 20th Century Fox is sending alleged file-sharers a 726 euro ($980) bill for downloading a single episode of the TV-series Homeland. For several months the Hollywood studio has been tracking unauthorized downloads of Homeland’s second season, which has yet to air in Germany.

While these downloads are unmistakably unauthorized, it is ironic that these lawsuits target the TV-show’s most engaged fans. In Germany, Homeland’s second season starts airing on TV next week, a full year after the U.S. premiere.
The show has been available on iTunes where a subtitled version of the season costs 26.99 (SD) or 31.99 euro (HD).
Still, the Hollywood studios regularly single out these “delayed” TV releases for their legal efforts. According to Christian Solmecke, a German IT lawyer who has defended hundreds of file-sharers, these shows are regularly targeted.
“The sharing of English-speaking TV series is particularly popular in Germany as these releases are often delayed. As a result, warning letters are regularly received for such copyright infringements,” Solmecke told TorrentFreak.
Unlike in the United States, Internet subscribers have no option to protest a copyright holders’ request to hand over their personal details. Paired with the fact that German ISPs can only store IP-address information for a week, this leads to a situation where personal details of accused subscribers are handed over pretty much automatically.
For the letter TorrentFreak received, the court signed off on handing over the subscriber data within a day of the IP-address being tracked. This is a worrying development according to legal experts and privacy advocates. The low retention periods for IP-addresses are meant to protect the privacy of users, but the opposite may be true in this case.
“I find it shocking when an IP-address is processed by the court on the same day as the infringement takes place,” Solmecke tells TorrentFreak.
“After all, judges should examine each claim on a case-by-case basis. In practice, however, the process is completely automatic and despite this obligation, it is unlikely that the judges properly scrutinize each individual case.”
The Hollywood movie studios, and dozens of copyright holders with them, are more pleased with how the system works. They are literally cashing in on these BitTorrent pirates to the tune of millions of euros every year.
Previously we pointed out that many major music labels and game publishers including CD Projekt have also been involved in the German settlement scheme. After public outcry, mainly targeted at the questionable reliability of the evidence, the latter retired its legal crusade against pirates.
“We value our fans, our supporters, and our community too highly to take the chance that we might ever falsely accuse even one individual,” CD Projekt’s Marcin Iwinski said at the time.
Whether 20th Century Fox and others respect their ‘fans’ just as much is doubtful.

Gulf states look eastwards for strategic partner as US influence wanes

Dubai: Since the election of US president Barack Obama, concern has been raised repeatedly in Gulf states about the US’ commitment to the security and the strategic importance of the region. More recent US positions however have sounded alarms in Gulf capitals that America may be abandoning its Gulf allies.

The US and the Gulf states’ very publicly diverging positions on the uprisings in Egypt and Tunisia, its reluctance to go to war with Syria and its most recent attempt at a rapprochement with Iran is likely to evoke fears of an American “grand bargain” with Iran at the expense of the Gulf.

Professor Tim Niblock of the University of Exeter, a leading academic of Gulf Studies, says the Gulf fears are there and they are well founded.

“There is a fear among decision making circles in Saudi Arabia that sooner or later the US is going to do a deal with Iran. That will leave Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states out in the cold,” he said.

Niblock foresees a possible regional re-alignment, where Iran’s relations with Western states would improve significantly as the Gulf Arab states focus their efforts on developing their relations with Iran’s ally China.

“I think sooner or later, and probably sooner rather than later, Iran is going to find a way of reopening its links with Western countries. It’s strongly in its interest to do so,” he said.

The shift has already taken place economically, he argues, as China is set to become the Gulf states’ biggest trade partner this year, overtaking the European Union. “The US, on the other hand, is the region’s sixth trading partner”.

Niblock says that there is a realisation among China’s decision makers that an American-Iranian rapprochement is a matter of time, which is why the economic giant wants to focus on its relations with Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states so as “not to put all its eggs in the Iranian basket”.

The strategic shift however may take longer, he adds, but it is likely, he said.

As the US disengages from the region, it may rely on its European allies to protect the sea lanes. Recent reports have suggested that the UK may make a return to ‘East of Suez’, and deploy a naval presence in the Gulf. The ‘East of Suez’ term was made popular in 1968, when Britian announced that it intended to withdraw its military presence east of the Suez Canal by 1971, effectively handing Gulf states full sovereignty.

“The British are serious,” said Niblock. “It seems to be proceeding at quite a high level… [but] whether the Gulf states will [consider] that to be as reliable as the US [presence in the Gulf], I don’t know,” he added. “In the past, Gulf states have not regarded European countries very seriously in terms of strategic involvement as they do the US”.

If you want to live the high life, you don’t have to become a rap star, a professional athlete or a Wall Street banker.  All it really takes is winning an election.  Right now, more than half of all the members of Congress are millionaires, and most of them leave “public service” far wealthier than when they entered it.  Since most of them have so much money, you would think that they would be willing to do a little “belt-tightening” for the sake of the American people.  After all, things are supposedly “extremely tight” in Washington D.C. right now.  In fact, just the other day Nancy Pelosi insisted that there were “no more cuts to make” to the federal budget.  But even as they claim that things are so tough right now, our politicians continue to live the high life at the expense of U.S. taxpayers.  The statistics that I am about to share with you are very disturbing.  Please share them with everyone that you know.  The American people deserve the truth.

According to the Weekly Standard, an absolutely insane amount of money is being spent on the “hair care needs” of U.S. Senators…

Senate Hair Care Services has cost taxpayers about $5.25 million over 15 years. They foot the bill of more than $40,000 for the shoeshine attendant last fiscal year. Six barbers took in more than $40,000 each, including nearly $80,000 for the head barber.

Keep in mind that there are only 100 U.S. Senators, and many of them don’t have much hair left at this point.

But hair care is just the tip of the iceberg.  The following are 21 other ways that our politicians are living the high life at your expense…

#1 According to Roll Call’s annual survey of Congressional wealth, the super wealthy in Congress just continue to get much wealthier even though they are supposedly dedicating their lives to “public service”…

Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas) is the richest Member of Congress for the second year in a row, reporting a vast fortune that in 2011 had a minimum net worth surpassing $300 million for the first time.
McCaul is followed by Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.), who reported a minimum net worth of $198.65 million, and Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Calif.), who reported a minimum net worth of $140.55 million. The two lawmakers swapped places since last year’s list.
The lawmakers who round out the top five, Sens. Mark Warner (D-Va.) and Jay Rockefeller (D-W.Va.), also flipped positions from 2010 to 2011, with Warner’s reported minimum worth rising about $9 million to $85.81 million and Rockefeller’s minimum worth rising slightly to $83.08 million.

#2 Amazingly, the 50th most wealthy member of Congress has a net worth of 6.14 million dollars.

#3 At this point, more than half of those “serving the American people” in Congress are millionaires.

#4 In one recent year, an average of $4,005,900 of U.S. taxpayer money was spent on “personal” and “office” expenses per U.S. Senator.

#5 Once they leave Washington, former members of Congress continue to collect huge checks for the rest of their lives…

In 2011, 280 former lawmakers who retired under a former government pension system received average annual pensions of $70,620, according to a Congressional Research Service report. They averaged around 20 years of service. At the same time, another 215 retirees (elected in 1984 or later with an average of 15 years of service) received average annual checks of roughly $40,000 a year.

#6 Speaker of the House John Boehner would bring home a yearly pension of close to $85,000 if he left Congress when his current term ends in 2014.

#7 At this point, quite a few former lawmakers are collecting federal pensions for life worth at least $100,000 annually.  That list includes such notable names as Newt Gingrich, Bob Dole, Trent Lott, Dick Gephardt and Dick Cheney.

#8 The U.S. government is spending approximately 3.6 million dollars a year to support the lavish lifestyles of former presidents such as George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.

#9 Nearly 500,000 federal employees now make at least $100,000 a year.

#10 During one recent year, the average federal employee in the Washington D.C. area received total compensation worth more than $126,000.

#11 During one recent year, compensation for federal employees came to a grand total of approximately 447 billion dollars.

#12 If you can believe it, there are 77,000 federal workers that make more than the governors of their own states do.

#13 When Joe Biden and his staff took a trip to London, the hotel bill cost U.S. taxpayers $459,388.65.

#20 There is always at least one projectionist at the White House 24 hours a day just in case there is someone that wants to watch a movie.  Apparently turning on a DVD player is too much to ask.

#21 In one recent year, more than 1.4 billion dollars was spent on the Obamas.  Meanwhile, British taxpayers only spent about 58 million dollars on the entire royal family.

So who pays for all of this extravagance?

Unfortunately, what most of our politicians fail to understand is that most families are struggling tremendously right now.

This week, Yahoo featured the story of a 77-year-old former executive that is now flipping burgers and serving drinks to make ends meet.  He says that he now earns in a week what he once earned in a single hour, but he is thankful to have a job in this economic environment…

It seems like another life. At the height of his corporate career, Tom Palome was pulling in a salary in the low six-figures and flying first class on business trips to Europe.

Today, the 77-year-old former vice president of marketing for Oral-B juggles two part-time jobs: one as a $10-an-hour food demonstrator at Sam’s Club, the other flipping burgers and serving drinks at a golf club grill for slightly more than minimum wage.
While Palome worked hard his entire career, paid off his mortgage and put his kids through college, like most Americans he didn’t save enough for retirement. Even many affluent baby boomers who are approaching the end of their careers haven’t come close to saving the 10 to 20 times their annual working income that investment experts say they’ll need to maintain their standard of living in old age.

So many Americans are barely making it from month to month at this point.  Most people work very, very hard for their money, and it is very discouraging to see our politicians waste our hard-earned tax dollars so frivolously.

Fortunately, there are signs that the American people are starting to get fed up with all of this.  According to a stunning new Gallup survey, more Americans than ever before (60 percent) believe that the federal government has too much power.

Treason or Stupidity?

As a nation, we can afford bouts of economic downturns, civil strife and even some degree of political mistrust of our leaders. A nation can take definitive steps to recover these maladies. However, the one thing that America cannot tolerate is the compromising of our military, and since Obama has been president, the effectiveness of our military has been greatly compromised.

A Crisis of Military Leadership

Fired Generals

The number of generals either drummed out of the service or forced into early retirement since Obama took office is growing by the month. Untruthful pretexts have been manufactured by the Obama administration to usher out many of our top military commanders. Many of these generals were among our most effective and experienced military leaders. Almost all of these generals are being replaced by men with less military experience and this fact alone leads to a less effective military.

This unprecedented parade of musical chairs, being played out against our military leaders, began when Obama demanded the resignation of General McKiernan. This marked the first time, since the time of the Korean War when General Douglas MacArthur was fired by President Truman in a disagreement over strategy, that a battlefield general was fired by a president. The strategy backfired in Korea and it backfired in Afghanistan as McKiernan was deemed to be to old school to suit Obama. He was old school to Obama because he wanted to kill the enemy while minimizing American losses. Obama wanted to adopt a policy which allowed the enemy to open fire first which, before Americans could return fire. This has surely caused the casualty rate to rise.

After he was fired, McKiernan challenged Obama’s impotent leadership by stating that “I don’t understand ever putting your men and women in harm’s way, without their having the full ability to protect themselves. That also means operating on actionable intelligence to defeat insurgents, and protect your forces.That’s how you keep your soldiers alive.” Obama apparently does not care how many soldiers get to come back home to their families.

Following McKiernan, Obama appointed Stanley McChrystal. But very soon, the new general grew weary of forcing his troops to accept fire before shooting back for fear of offending the Afghans. McChrystal later claimed that he had presented a plan to Obama for defeating the Afghan resistance, but Obama continued to promote rules of engagement which served to make the Americans a less effective fighting force. The relationship between McChrystal and Obama became strained and McChrystal was fired over a negative Rolling Stone article, written by Michael Hastings, that revealed that McChrystal had become disgusted with Obama. Petraeus replaced McChrystal who was in-turn quickly replaced by General Allen who then became entrapped in the same scandal, and the confirmation of General Dunford had to be rushed through and subsequently completed in record time. Count them, Obama has gone through four generals and is now on his fifth battlefield commander. His firing of two-four star generals is unprecedented in American History. This is what Stalin did when he assumed the dictatorship of Russia and it almost cost the Russians victory in WWII. The war in Afghanistan is lost thanks to Obama.

General Mattis, the Commander of Central Command offended several administration personnel and was fired on the spot. Admiral Gayoutte, the former commander of Carrier Task Force Three, operating in the Gulf, was fired last fall. General Hamm, the former commander of AFRICOM was fired last fall as well. Gayoutte and Hamm both tried to launch a coordinated rescue mission designed to save the life of Ambassador Stevens in Libya. Both leaders were refusing to follow a Presidential order, delivered through Leon Panetta, to stand down with regard to the Stevens affair. Both men were arrested prior to dispatching the rescue troops.

To this point, we may just have a case of gross incompetence. Yet, aren’t we supposed to fighting al-Qaeda? According to our government, did al-Qaeda plan and carry out the attacks of 9/11? Then why are we supporting al-Qaeda in Libya and Syria? Treason of stupidity?

When the leadership of the military is greatly compromised, it cannot help but to weaken the fighting effectiveness of our troops. There is more, but suffice it to say that Obama goes through senior military leaders more times than he changes his underwear.

The Air Force Crisis

Air Force combat pilots are leaving the Air Force at an alarming rate and, as such, this has constituted an emergency. The USAF is now offering bonuses that amount to several hundred thousand dollars in a desperate attempt to retain their services. The pilots cite the low pay (Obama just slashed Congressionally approved pay raises by over half), being overworked and the ability to find more lucrative employment in the private sector.

Obama Repeatedly Demonstrates Disdain for the Military

Following the inauguration, the President , according to Major General Patrick Brady (Ret), is supposed to attend an inaugural balls honoring veterans, including  a special ceremony for Medal of Honor winners. Obama did not attend, thus, making him the only President to snub such an important military event.

And he refuses again!

Under Obama, women are now being groomed for combat. This will significantly weaken our military as a fighting force. Women do not possess the upper body strength, quickness, or stamina to survive in combat. Rape is at all-time high in the military and nothing is being done about it. The military is not a corporation. The military does not score points for fielding the most fair army, it is kill or be killed. Women’s rights apply in every other sector of American life, except the military.

Obama may refuse to salute the American Flag, but he will bow to a Saudi King.

Obama Is Attempting to Deindustrialize the US

When Obama was first elected, he attempted to get congress to support his cap and trade legislation which would have reduced individual energy use by an estimated 80%. This would have been national suicide. I almost forgot to mention that Obama and his Senior White House adviser, Valerie Jarrett, helped to found and then fund the Chicago Climate Exchange which was to oversee a 10 trillion dollar per year management of cap and trade activities and policies. Now, Obama is seeking to bypass Congress and have the EPA impose carbon emission regulations. This is unconstitutional and it will effectively nationalize the American energy industry and place it under the control of Obama. The net effect, is that America is being deindustrialized through these cap and trade policies.

America is being crushed by high energy rates, but Obama uses every regulatory power to stop drilling for oil and natural gas, denies permits for construction of nuclear power plants, and discourages the use of coal, oil shale and tar sands, where our reserves dwarf those of Saudi Arabia, and he killed the Keystone Pipeline. This cannot be explained away solely based on environmental concerns, because Obama applauds and promises to financially support Brazilian deep-water oil drilling.

The Ponzi Scheme Called Obamacare

Today, businesses are afraid to hire new employees because the government has captured the health care system on behalf of Big Pharma and the managed health care industry and nobody knows what is going to happen. Obamacare has unleashed massive new taxes and regulations, all of which are economy killers. Along with the death panel policies which are beginning to come to light, every American should look under their collective beds before going to bed.

The Most Unconstitutional President in History

By signing the NDAA into law, he made the US government one of the most lawless nations on the face of the earth. Under the NDAA, an American citizen can be snatched off of the street, without due process (violation of the 5th Amendment).  Attorney General Eric Holder has asserted the right for Obama to murder US citizens under the NDAA.

Under Executive Order 13603, Obama can seize every resource, including all food and water supplies, both public and private, in the country and he can also conscript its citizens for any purpose.

The Most Divisive President In American History

Can there be any question that Obama is intentionally dividing Americans on the basis of race, economic class, gender, sexual orientation and, sometimes, religion. The fact that he ordered the Department of Justice to open an investigation into the Trayvon Martin case only inflamed the highly volatile case. This was, and is, a local law enforcement issue.

Obama’s policies are forcing Christians from the military in record numbers. Obama is forcing the military to accept open homosexuality in the military, while punishing soldiers for having open heterosexual relationships. As one general told me, the politically correct police are patrolling the halls of the Pentagon. Many veterans have told me that Obama’s new military provides benefits to people of Islamic faith not afforded to Christians. Along these lines, Obama cancelled the National Day of Prayer, while instituting the Muslim Day of Prayer. This is hardly equitable.

Prior to running for president, it has been widely reported that Barack and Michelle routinely attended religious services where the volatile and crude, as well as Un-American rhetoric was commonly preached from the pulpit of Jeremiah Wright.

The Destroyer of the Economy

Obama still blames Bush for the economy, but he claims the country is in the midst of an economic recovery. The recovery is working so well, that the number welfare recipients outnumbers the number of fulltime workers (101 million to 97 million). New job creation is at a standstill, energy prices are unrelenting and college loans administered by this President are astronomical. Obama has increased the national debt faster than the last five presidents combined. Does any of this sound like recovery to you?

There Is No End in Sight for Obama’s Destructive Policies

What did Michelle Obama mean when she said she’d never been proud of America in her adult life before her husband’s election to the highest office in the land? Why is Obama so insistent about the United States deferring to international bodies in the conduct of its foreign affairs? Why is he so determined that our nuclear and conventional forces and our military space program as well as our missile defenses be scaled down? He is taking a page right out of Benedict Arnold’s book of treason when he tried to give away the vital fort of West Point to the British.

Really?

One does not have to be a conspiracy theorist to recognize the damage Obama is doing to the country and I haven’t even touched on his administrations lawlessness and his intent on signing the UN Small Arms Treaty Ban.

Is he a traitor or just plain stupid? I would say he’s both. However, treason trumps stupidity and this President needs

No Real Changes Will Happen With NSA Surveillance Until Clapper And Alexander Are Fired

We've been arguing for months now that with James Clapper having admitted to blatantly lying to Congress (after trying to lie about the lie) that it's insane that the man still has a job. If there is to be any accountability or trust going forward, he should lose his job (and potentially face charges). Instead, nothing is happening and no one seems to have any interest in doing anything. We've raised the question as to how anyone could possibly ever trust statements coming from the Intelligence Community again.

Once again: the director of the intelligence community flat out lied to Congress about it, admitted it, and there have been no consequences at all. What that teaches Clapper and others is that they can continue to lie, and, in fact, that they are effectively encouraged to lie, because there's no downside risk in doing so.

It's good to see we're not the only ones who think so. James Goodale, a prominent First Amendment lawyer, and former General Counsel for the NY Times has written a stinging critique in the Guardian about all of the lies (noting that they go way beyond Clapper to Congress, but also include Clapper and Alexander both to the public and to the FISA court which is in charge of oversight):

The Director of National Intelligence James R Clapper admitted he lied to Congress about the NSA metadata collection program. He said the NSA had no such program – and then added that that was the least "untruthful" remark he could make. General Keith Alexander, director of the National Security Agency, lied in 2012 that the NSA does not hold data on US citizens, and repeated similar misstatements, under oath, to Congress about the program:

We're not authorized to do it [data collection on US citizens], nor do we do it.

NSA lawyers lied to secret Fisa court Judges John D Bates and Reggie B Walton. In recently released opinions, Bates said he had been lied to on three separate occasions and Walton said he had been lied to several times also.

Then he notes that there's been no punishment at all for these guys, which is absolutely true. He further calls out the Justice Department for refusing to investigate the lies to the FISA court, and notes that if President Obama actually wants to rebuild trust in the government and the intelligence community it must include punishing those who lied to Congress and to the FISA court. Otherwise, it is guaranteed that they will do so again.

We’ve mentioned the increasingly cozy relationship between prospective Virginia governor Terry McAuliffe and Michael Bloomberg in this space in the past, and wondered (not really) about what that meant for McAuliffe’s stance on guns. Well, wonder no more, as he has released his campaign mission statement and policy goals should he become governor, and it’s clear by the excerpted section below, he ain’t no friend of ours. Dale Evans, a staff member for the speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives had a small oops last week when he left his personal concealed carry firearm on top of the toilet paper dispenser in the men’s room at the state building. State lawmakers and legislative staffers are allowed to carry concealed weapons into the statehouse. The Capitol Police were notified and the gun was returned to him. The Speaker’s office issued a statement saying that Evans had apologized for the mistake and promised to attend a gun safety class in the very near future. No charges will be filed.

Just what would that statement be, though?

Iraq is currently in just as much turmoil as ever, Afghanistan is basically under siege and Libya lost a president the Libyans, for the most part, loved to death. American nationals have been conned as the liars and pontificators from the war mongering machine moved in for the kill. This was the beginning of the end for the American economy; the banksters finished us all off.
We all know which American leaders are responsible for all this. We must not allow for any of these New World Order traitors just skate by as if nothing has happened. These people have ruined our country by playing God, while wiping out thousands of American lives for the sake of filling their pockets full of money, money that should have never been used without the American people’s permission. We the people had nothing to say about a damn thing as we were fed lies.   
History will remember these traitors to the Constitution and Bill of Rights. None of this was necessary, causing misery around the world. The Jewish establishment has been giving the orders to America for far too long, as we the people had no say at all. It is sickening on its face, as we bow down to people thousands of miles away. What the hell have the Israelis ever done for us? Because of this insanity we are now in financial ruin.
Netanyahu gives orders to our leaders that are putting the Americans in danger. His little sliver of land has caused the rest of the world huge sacrifices, while giving nothing meaningful in return. We continue to accommodate Israel’s every wish as if some kind utopia blessed by a special God who only recognizes the Jew, as America is used as Israel’s personal army. We are being used, that simple people.
American leaders kiss the Jewish rear end at every whim, ruining our way of life. We have news organizations that cater to the Jewish rear end causing more danger. Will the insanity ever stop?
Israel has corrupted our leadership and have ruined the American nationals way of life, all for the sake of a few who put themselves above all else. How much longer are we going to accept this garbage?
The American oligarchs have had their way for too damn long. They have partnered with Israel ignoring the American people’s wishes. We must put an end to the ass kissing and start to separate ourselves from this endless money pit located on a worthless sliver of land in the Middle East. Kerry Signs UN Arms Trade Treaty — Civilian Disarmament Advancing

Secretary of State John Kerry signed the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty Wednesday. Upon adding his signature, Kerry addressed the world body:
On behalf of President Obama and the United States of America, I am very pleased to have signed this treaty here today. I signed it because President Obama knows that from decades of efforts that at any time that we work with — cooperatively to address the illicit trade in conventional weapons, we make the world a safer place. And this treaty is a significant step in that effort.  
Promptly, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon thanked Kerry and Obama for their complicity in consolidating UN control over weapons and ammunition:
Today, a number of countries signed the Arms Trade Treaty, pushing the total number of signatures to more than half of all Member States.
The Secretary-General, as the depository of the Treaty, welcomes every signature to this important treaty.  At the same time, it is of particular significance that the largest arms exporting country in the world, the United States, is now also among those countries who have committed themselves to a global regulation of the arms trade.  He believes this will contribute to efforts to reduce insecurity and suffering for people on all continents. He calls upon other countries to follow suit.
On Monday, a source inside the State Department alerted The New American that Secretary Kerry would commit this act of treason. What’s more, we were told that key members of the Senate were informed Tuesday that Kerry intended to sign the treaty and that the reaction from senators was one of disinterest.
In fairness, a few senators have spoken out today (Wednesday), warning President Obama not to try to bypass the Senate in his fervor to enforce the terms of this globalist gun grab.
Senator Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), the ranking member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, sent the president a letterreminding him that:
As you know, Article II, Section 2 of the United States Constitution requires the United States Senate to provide its advice and consent before a treaty becomes binding under United States law.  The Senate has not yet provided its advice and consent, and may not provide such consent.  As a result, the Executive Branch is not authorized to take any steps to implement the treaty.
President Obama knows this and he also knows that in March, 53 senators voted “to uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.”
Americans know something, too. They know that this administration has never failed to use every murderous act of armed violence as a pretext for tyranny. From Newtown to the Navy Yard, President Obama has issued scores of executive orders directly violating the Constitution’s explicit prohibition on the infringement of the right to keep and bear arms.
John Kerry’s signing of the Arms Trade Treaty demonstrates that he and his boss will continue along this treasonous trajectory until control of all weapons and ammunition is consolidated into the UN and its client governments.
There is so much wrong and so much unconstitutional about the Arms Trade Treaty that it is difficult to describe it all. The following summary of the agreement should be sufficient, however, to call to action all constitutionalists, gun owners, and lovers of liberty. Senators, President Obama, and Secretary of State John Kerry must know that we will not sit idly by while they surrender our sovereignty and plot to confiscate our weapons.
First, the Arms Trade Treaty grants a monopoly over all weaponry in the hands of the very entity (approved regimes) responsible for over 300 million murders in the 20th century.
Furthermore, the treaty leaves private citizens powerless to oppose future slaughters.
An irrefutable fact of armed violence unaddressed by the UN in its gun grab is that all the murders committed by all the serial killers in history don’t amount to a fraction of the brutal killings committed by “authorized state parties” using the very weapons over which they will exercise absolute control under the terms of the Arms Trade Treaty.
Article 2 of the treaty defines the scope of the treaty’s prohibitions. The right to own, buy, sell, trade, or transfer all means of armed resistance, including handguns, is denied to civilians by this section of the Arms Trade Treaty.
Article 3 places the “ammunition/munitions fired, launched or delivered by the conventional arms covered under Article 2” within the scope of the treaty’s prohibitions, as well.
Article 4 rounds out the regulations, also placing all “parts and components” of weapons within the scheme.
Perhaps the most immediate threat to the rights of gun owners in the Arms Trade Treaty is found in Article 5. Under the title of “General Implementation,” Article 5 mandates that all countries participating in the treaty “shall establish and maintain a national control system, including a national control list.”
This list should “apply the provisions of this Treaty to the broadest range of conventional arms.”
Mark it down: If the treaty is ratified by the United States or if its provisions are enforced by executive order, within months the federal government (likely under the management of the Department of Homeland Security) would begin compiling a list of who owns, buys, sells, trades, or transfers any firearm, as well as the ammunition, parts, and components of those weapons.
After creating this database, the federal government would be required under the provisions of Article 5(4) of the Arms Trade Treaty to “provide its national control list to the Secretariat, which shall make it available to other States Parties.”
That’s right. The UN treaty demands that the list of gun and ammunition owners not only be in the hands of our own government, but be sent to foreign regimes, as well. This provision would guarantee that should an American owner of a legally purchased firearm decide to emigrate, he will be on the radar of the ruling regime in his new home.
Americans are right to recognize this registry as the first step toward confiscation. Without such a registry, it would be impossible to monitor weapons transfers effectively because governments can’t track weapons exchanges and transfers unless they know who has them to begin with.
Article 12 adds to the record-keeping requirement, mandating that the list include “the quantity, value, model/type, authorized international transfers of conventional arms,” as well as the identity of the “end users” of these items.
In very clear terms, ratification of the Arms Trade Treaty by the United States would require that the U.S. government force gun owners to add their names to the national registry. Citizens would be required to report the amount and type of all firearms and ammunition they possess.
Section 4 of Article 12 of the treaty requires that the list be kept for at least 10 years.
Finally, the agreement demands that national governments take “appropriate measures” to enforce the terms of the treaty, including civilian disarmament. If these countries can’t get this done on their own, however, Article 16 provides for UN assistance, specifically including help with the enforcement of “stockpile management, disarmament, demobilization and reintegration programmes.”
In fact, a “voluntary trust fund” will be established to assist those countries that need help from UN peacekeepers or other regional forces to disarm their citizens.
Arguably, the Arms Trade Treaty would become the law of the United States if the Senate were to ratify the treaty.
While that is the process that the Constitution establishes for the implementation of treaties, fundamental principles of construction and constitutional law dictate that no treaty that violates the Constitution can become the supreme law of the land.
In the case of the UN’s Arms Trade Treaty, there is no doubt that regardless of presidential signatures or congressional consent, this treaty cannot pass constitutional muster and therefore will never be the valid law of the land.
Unless, of course, Americans once again acquiesce to President Obama’s assumption of illegal authority and relinquish their rights and weapons regardless of the reasons they should not do so.
Finally, citizens must understand a very important nuance of Secretary Kerry’s assurance in his speech that the Arms Trade Treaty isn’t about taking away freedom, “it is about keeping weapons out of the hands of terrorists and rogue actors.” Americans must remember that Kerry, Obama, and the UN consider gun owners to be “terrorists” and “rogue actors,” thus subject to seizure of their firearms in the name of “international peace and global security.”
For John Kerry and Barack Obama, the confiscation of weapons from civilians is an act of, as Kerry said Wednesday, “advancing important humanitarian goals.”
For Americans, however, it is a giant leap toward enslavement.
Americans would be wise at this critical time to remember the words of George Washington, who advised:
A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government.
