Bennie Starks was released from prison in 2006, after
being locked up for 20 years for a crime he never committed. He is now
suing the forensic experts who falsely testified against him in a case
of sexual assault.
Although Starks’ charges were dismissed, the 53-year-old man
will never regain his lost years. In 1986, he was found guilty of
assaulting and raping a 69-year-old woman from Waukegan, Ill., and
sentenced to 60 years in prison.
Government witnesses, two dentists and a forensic technician
testified against him. The rape victim also identified him in a
photo line-up, but Starks believes two police officers encouraged
the woman to accuse him.
Dr. Carl Hagstrom and Dr. Russell Schneider, two dentists,
testified that the bite marks on the victim’s body matched the
marks left by Starks’ teeth. Their methodology, however, was
outdated and unreliable, according to information obtained by the
Courthouse News Service.
With government witnesses, forensic ‘experts’, and the victim
herself alleging that Starks was the rapist, there was little he
could do to keep himself out of prison. But in 2006, the Illinois
Appellate Court vacated the man’s conviction and set up a retrial.
DNA evidence cleared him of the 1986 rape, and Starks walked out of
prison a free man.
It wasn’t until January 2013 that all of his charges were
dismissed and his record was clean. “I’m just overwhelmed with joy,” Starks told ABC after
walking out of the courtroom with a clean slate. The man’s
attorney, Jed Stone, compared the outcome to a “ray of sunlight
that cracked through a cloud”.
But what Starks can’t forget is the false testimony by the
state’s forensic technician, Sharon Thomas-Boyd, as well as the two
dentists who matched his teeth to the bite marks. Thomas-Boyd
falsely claimed that Starks’ semen matched the DNA found on the
victim.
US District Judge Gary Feinerman supported Starks’ theory that
the forensic experts engaged in a conspiracy to falsely accuse
him. "The complaint amply alleges that the police defendants, the
dentist defendants, and Thomas-Boyd all worked to get Starks
convicted for a crime he did not commit, and it is more plausible
that they each made their contributions to that effort in the
context of an agreement to secure a wrongful conviction than that,
by some wild coincidence, everyone who came into contact with
Starks's case independently developed a desire to see him convicted
and a willingness to lie in pursuit of that goal," the judge
said, according to court documents.
It is unlikely that the police officers will be penalized for
lying to the jury, since they hold impunity for doing so. But it is
possible that they could face charges for prompting the rape victim
to falsely identify Starks as the suspect.
Starks claims the conspiracy caused him emotional distress. The
Innocence Project, a group that originally helped the man clear his
name, told ABC that in cases where innocent men are imprisoned,
misidentification is most often the cause. “Bennie’s case features a wrongful identification and also
faulty forensics,” Lauren Kaeseberg of the Innocence Project
said in January. “Misidentifications make up 75 percent of
wrongful convictions.” In the state of Illinois, committing conspiracy or perjury
under oath or affirmation is a class 3 felony, which could result
in 2-5 years imprisonment and/or a fine of up to $25,000. The
lawsuit accuses the forensic experts of filing false reports,
giving false statements, conspiring against Starks and pursuing
wrongful prosecutions.
The defendants have filed a motion to dismiss the complaint, but
Judge Feinerman denied all motions except the intentional
infliction of emotion distress.

If the Connecticut General Assembly is successful, we will never know
details of what happened at the Sandy Hook elementary school in Newtown
on December 14, 2012. The Hartford Courant
reports that the state’s top prosecutor and the governor’s office are
working in secret with General Assembly leaders on legislation designed
to withhold records related to the police investigation of the incident.
If enacted, the legislation will hide from public scrutiny photos of
victims, 911 call records and other evidence.
“There is complete agreement regarding photos etc., and audio tapes,
although the act may allow the disclosure of audio transcripts,” a top
assistant to Chief State’s Attorney Kevin Kane, Timothy J. Sugrue, told
the Courant.
The bill has not gone through routine committee process or
legislative procedures. It has not received a public hearing. It is
being worked on in secret by leaders in both the House and Senate.
“A lot of people, including our office, have heard the concerns
expressed by the families of Newtown victims, and are exploring ways to
respect the families’ right to privacy while also respecting the
public’s right to information,” gubernatorial chief of staff Mark
Ojakian said in a statement released by Andrew Doba, Gov. Dannel P.
Malloy’s director of communications.
Immediately after the event at Sandy Hook, people questioned the
official story due to an inordinate number of inconsistencies and other
unresolved aspects. The corporate media peddled the official version
despite lingering questions.
In December, Lt. J. Paul Vance
of the Connecticut State Police threatened to prosecute investigative
journalists who questioned the official narrative. According to Vance,
reports deviating from the official narrative “are crimes, they will be
investigated, state-wide and federally, and prosecution will take place
when people perpetrating [information at odds with the official version]
are identified.”
Democrats and anti-Second Amendment advocates exploited the official
narrative to push draconian gun legislation. In April, the so-called
Toomey-Manchin anti-gun bill failed to pass in the Senate after a
concerted propaganda campaign by Democrats, organizations like Mayors
Against Illegal Guns headed up by New York mayor Michael Bloomberg, and
the establishment media.

Upon arriving in Mexico City, I noticed that there was
what appeared to be a complete lack of cell towers. Yet perfect cell
service was everywhere. That got me wondering, how could a cell phone

web site and located a few, which I subsequently went to with Google
maps, and they were very much like American cell towers.
Aside from these which I could locate with a map, there were none to
be found and instead there were many tiny cell antennas attached to
buildings and roof tops. Mexico now appears to be transitioning to the larger cell
towers, and I beg to question WHY, if the small antennaes worked so
well. This report is going to cover the clandestine use of cell
towers and microwave frequencies in a little more detail than was done
before There will be two sections to this report – mind control and weather modification.

Enter cell phone towers and the microwaves they emit.
According to this source, there are over 220,000 cell phone towers and antennas in the USA.
Peer-reviewed scientific studies have identified adverse effects on populations living near cell phone towers.
General symptoms include headaches, fatigue, concentration problems,
dizziness, insomnia, depression, appetite loss, skin rashes, and
discomfort.
Section 6409 of the U.S. Middle Class Tax Relief Act enacted in
February requires state and local approval of cell tower collocations
and other wireless tower modifications.
"IN GENERAL- Notwithstanding section 704 of the Telecommunications
Act of 1996 (Public Law 104-104) or any other provision of law, a State
or local government may not deny, and shall approve, any eligible
facilities request for a modification of an existing wireless tower or
base station that does not substantially change the physical dimensions
of such tower or base station."
Microwaves Used as Weapons
Microwaves are key in the evolution of a new series of non-lethal
weapons that the Military is interested in developing. These weapons
could be capable of...
preventing voluntary muscular movements; control emotions (and thus
actions); produce sleep; transmit suggestions; interfere with both
short-term and long-term memory; produce an experience set and delete an
experience set.
Microwaves used at low power densities can be used to induce sounds
and words within a person’s head so that it appears that the person is
hearing voices.
This technology can be used in isolated individuals either to send
instructions to soldiers in the field who are in combat situations or it
can be used on the enemy to scare and/or disorient them (one of the
non-lethal weapons being developed).
There is also some evidence to suggest that this technology has the capability of remote mind reading.

This is fairly easy to explain, much much easier than the mind control
via EM manipulation that Les Majeste so nicely nailed yesterday. I am
just going to cut to the chase -
What we call cell towers are absolutely not needed. They are often
heavily fortified, are always fed at least 50,000 watts, often fed half a
million watts, and typically spaced four miles apart, to give a signal
radius of two miles per tower. Something is wrong with that.
The proof of how powerful they are is indicated by the size of the
transformers feeding them, which are often 500KVA and Farganne even
photographed and sent me the picture of one that had to be at least a
megawatt.
WLS in Chicago transmits with five percent of that – (50,000 watts,)
and can be heard clearly for over a thousand miles at all hours of the
day with a reasonable radio, and often comes in clearly nationwide.
So
why do what we call “cell towers” often get fed 10 TIMES THAT to talk to
a cell phone two miles away?
When I was a kid, I had a set of walkie
talkies that could talk to CB radios in a neighboring town when out in
the open and on top of the hill (approximately two miles distant) and
could even talk to a CB while transmitting out of the back seat of a car
fairly predictably at up to about a half mile distant.
These walkie
talkies had only half a watt, and that´s not even mentioning wireless N
routers which can sometimes connect at half a mile with milliwatts.
So if WLS can reach nationwide, and a kid´s walkie talkie with a
laughable output can connect at two miles, why then do cell towers often
get individually fed enough juice to dwarf the output of WLS, when a
kid´s walkie talkie can hook up at the same distance a cell tower is
rated for with 0.000.000.5 the power?
It would be understandable, for
the purpose of penetrating the thickest walls and the darkest cellars to
equip a cell tower with 100 watts, and then give that cell tower a
fantastic receiver so it could hear the much weaker cell phone. But over
that? NO WAY. Is Haarp right in front of us, in plain sight?
There are over 200,000 cell nodes in America alone. Let´s just assume
that half of them are not part of any clandestine system. What about the
other half?
Well, to be on the conservative side, let´s just say they
get the minimum 50,000 watts. 50,000 watts X 100,000 “cell towers”
equals FIVE BILLION WATTS. Haarp in Alaska is rated at less than 100
million. So obviously then, the cell towers have a lot more kick.
That is a conservative guess – the actual number should probably be
based on each cell tower having 250,000 watts because I have never seen a
cell tower with a transformer smaller than that here is what a 250,000 watt (250 KVA) transformer looks like..
A transformer of this size, as small as it looks, can furnish 5 times
the power that WLS broadcasts with. A small pad mounted knee high
transformer in a local neighborhood can more than feed a 50,000 watt
transmitter. But a big number is a big number any way you cut it, so it
is probably irrelelvant.
I always thought it a little far fetched to think that Haarp in Alaska
could affect the weather anywhere in the world, because the earth is
curved, and to affect the weather in another location you would need to
depend upon ionospheric bounce to get your signal to it´s destination
and that is not predictable.
However, I certainly can buy into locally
produced weather, where every cell tower in a region is fired up in a
symphony of madness to cause it.
THAT would be believable, and if Haarp
can tap the ionosphere with 50 million watts, to trigger a much larger
cascade from the virtually limitless power the ionosphere contains, then
the cell towers in a region certainly have enough power to do it.
At
250,000 watts each, which is most probable based on what I have seen
feeding most of them, it would only take 200 towers to rival Haarp in
Alaska and do it locally, right where the action is supposed to be.
Why stop at 200, when there are at least 100,000 available? For just
about any disaster in any region, there will be over 2,000 in close
proximity that can team up to get the job done. Need a bigger disaster?
Fire up more.
I am not going into the over 95 percent of people´s heads concept of
wave steering via synchronization of antennas, but it can be done – you
can cause one transmitter to steal the energy of another and throw that
energy in one direction via proper phase synchronization.
With
computerized control you can get ALL towers in a region to focus their

In a new lawsuit Voltage Pictures, the company behind The Hurt
Locker, say they have not only tracked down a “prolific proponent” of
widespread BitTorrent piracy, but have identified him as a practicing
attorney based in Portland, Oregon. The defendant, who describes himself
as an expert in two martial arts, is said to have infringed copyright
in at least 66 different copyright works. The lawsuit is littered with
controversial claims that attempt to paint the attorney in the worst
possible light.
There are dozens of file-sharing related lawsuits filed every month
across the United States so it’s virtually impossible to keep up with
them all, but one appeared this week that everyone will want to keep an
eye on.
Voltage Pictures are the outfit behind the award-winning movie The
Hurt Locker. The company has a record of suing large numbers of alleged
copyright infringers across the United States and its latest effort will
thrust the filmmaker right back into the spotlight.
The case was filed Tuesday in Portland, Oregon, against a single
named defendant. The basic claims are familiar – defendant is a
file-sharer who breached Voltage’s copyrights (in this case for the
movie ‘Maximum Conviction’) and who must now be held accountable to the
tune of $150,000 in damages.
It’s standard fare, until one starts to drill down into the details.
The defendant’s name is Jim Choi and he has an eyebrow-raising
occupation.
“Defendant Jim Choi is an attorney with offices at 16323 SE Stark Street # 3, Portland,
Oregon, 97233,” the lawsuit reads.
Choi’s website, PDXBankruptcy.com, has been taken down but with help from Google’s cache and Google+ his name and status can be confirmed.
Choi describes himself as a bankruptcy lawyer and a member of both
the Oregon and Florida State Bars. He has a keen interest in music and
also holds black belts in Tae Kwon Do and Judo. Whether they will help
him fight off Voltage remains to be seen – the claims against him are
scathing.
Voltage say that the IP address they traced back to Choi through ISP
Century Link was observed sharing the movie ‘Maximum Conviction’ in
November 2012, but the accusations don’t stop there.
“Choi is a prolific proponent of the BitTorrent distribution system
advancing the BitTorrent economy of piracy causing injury to plaintiff,”
the complaint reads.
The movie company then goes on to list another 66 claimed instances
of copyright infringement allegedly carried out by Choi on a wide range
of content including Hollywood movies, TV shows and software.
Voltage’s claims that Choi infringed other company’s copyrights are
of real interest. The unnamed anti-piracy outfit hired by Voltage to
monitor for infringement on the studio’s torrents is clearly monitoring
and cross matching IP addresses on other people’s content too.
Furthermore, in order to accurately prove that Choi had infringed
copyright on these other items the monitoring company must actively
participate in torrent swarms of content that has nothing to do with
Voltage. If the company does not have permission from those
rightsholders to do so, it too is breaching copyright.
These facts suggest the involvement of a larger than usual operation.
Voltage are known to use Canadian monitoring company Canipre, but they
are not named in this lawsuit.
Moving on, the lawsuit also makes some ‘interesting’ assumptions about the nature of Choi’s BitTorrent activities.
“Another growing element of the BitTorrent model is that users are
able to attach advertising to the files they upload through various
means allowing them to generate revenue through the propagation of the
titles they make available to others,” the lawsuit reads.
“In this case, plaintiff’s motion picture as copied and distributed by defendant is associated
with the ‘TORRENTING.COM’ branding in the title.”
The suggestion here is that since Choi allegedly shared a file that
that had a website URL in its title (a common occurrence and one
generally used to show where a file came from) he was doing so in order
to generate revenue. And it doesn’t stop there.
“In information and belief, Choi is either directly affiliated with
TORRENTDAY.COM and other third party sites as a subscriber and
contributor or indirectly promoting the activities of TORRENTDAY.COM and
other third party sites in an effort to profit from piracy through the
copying and distribution of plaintiff’s motion picture.”
Essentially, Voltage are claiming that Choi deliberately assisted
with the advertising of torrent sites and release groups (and generated
profit from such) because he shared content with their names present in
file titles. The full range of titles can be seen here(pdf).
The fact that Voltage Pictures have targeted an attorney certainly
provides food for thought. Is an attorney more likely to quickly fold
and pay up in order to protect his reputation and business, or is he
likely to take advantage of his legal knowledge to mount a robust and
essentially free defense?
This is a unique case and certainly one to keep an eye on.
I have reached a point in my career where I see both the benefit of
what I do and the liability that always seems to creep in when I see
that the truth does not pay and in some cases does not earn respect.
When your report differs from that of the mainstream, you are
immediately faced with insults. Eventually you become just one more
silly idea in the deluge of disinformation, misinformation, insanity and
satire.
It never ceases to amaze me how, out of all the alternate theories
and challenging questions that abound, skeptics choose the craziest
ideas of all to exploit.
They dig up the theorists with the flimsiest arguments to use as
examples of “conspiracy theorists”, holding them up as targets of
ridicule. Skeptics are continuing proof that many people still have not
let go of the playground taunting that exists when someone new or
different decides to bring his marbles to the game.
The skeptics want the world to think like them. But they are just as
rigid and gullible as the straw men they attack, and they never admit to
being wrong.
Worst, they then paint everyone with the same brush, so they can
laugh at those who warn us that our way of life is decaying, that our
republic is crumbling, that if you haven’t felt the pinch of depleted
resources yet, you will eventually and then maybe you’ll care.
It just might be too late by then.
The aliens, the invisible enemy, the predatory soul eaters, the
tricksters, whatever you call them are already here. There is an evil
that exists on a much larger scale than most of us realize, and perhaps
it is time to question just where it comes from and why we humans
continue to suffer without fighting for something as simple as joy.
When we strip away the fat on any conspiracy, we realize that it is either the work of aliens, or of demonic forces.
Both skeptics and true believers fight over minutiae while the domino
effect continues. More ideas and conspiracy theories begin to stretch
the story to the point of banality.
The true conspiracy is the engineered group effort to bring down and
otherwise belittle the conspiracy theorist, as well as those who want to
sift through the opinions of the conspiracy analysts.
If you discuss the evil acts committed by the CIA,
or the criminal activities that go on in governments and religion, you
are considered a conspiracy theorist or a paranoid, even when you can
show cause for believing that something wicked this way comes.
Why is it so hard for people to understand that men whose portraits
hang in our government buildings and religious offices can become amoral
monsters and eager collaborators with that which we can call alien or
evil?
The mainstream news has finally decided to open up the dialogue about
how aggressive a government can be in having air tight secrecy with
regards to matters that it feels are important to keep from the general
public.
This type of secrecy creates a climate of fear, and journalists are
no longer free to report information that they feel is the public right
to know. The mainstream press has been a nuisance in most cases as many
stories of scandal and cover up have been reported by the citizen press.
It is this citizen press that has been labeled as a haven for various
conspiracy theories.
Now we are beginning to see that this type of pejorative viewpoint is
being used as a weapon to try and silence anyone who may have
information that the government wants to silence.
This also indicates that the American people generally know about,
what they don’t know, and that anything unknown can be kept unknown
unless someone is able to blow the whistle on these known unknowns.
It seems like some bad joke where Donald Rumsfeld sounds like a
prophet, when he spoke in terms of newspeak to the American people about
weapons of mass destruction and the never ending war on terror.
Much of this so-called information cover-up seems so new to the
average American, but to those who see the conspiratorial view of events
find that this is situation normal in an apocalypse. Before the 9/11 attacks, 60 percent of the American people did not trust their government
and after we became vulnerable there was this need to trust the
government, which was of course we have found to be a major mistake.
Did we ever learn from the cold war, did we forget the cover ups
about JFK and even more did we ever wonder about what was going on up in
space? Were there ever real investigations into UFO’s or even the
possibility of a real alien threat on planet earth?
From Truman to Eisenhower, there were plenty of reports filed on the
subject matter and eventually most or all of what was being called real,
became part of a cover up and eventually leads to witnesses and
government officials who had special clearances’ dried up.
Aside from the so-called “cosmic Watergate”
there are plenty of national security policies that have a significant
or even mostly covert nature to them, but we can’t even determine with
much confidence which policies those are.
There is a great division today that separates the world from what
the world was like in times of our grandfathers and great grandfathers,
generations are being fed erroneous information that is being believed
as fact because unfortunately, during what can be called an open ended
war, truth is the biggest casualty.
Most Americans are growing tired of being lied to, while others are
fine with the information they receive because it is what they most
certainly want to hear. However, it is becoming painfully apparent that
there are plenty of cover-ups happening and transparency is only lip
service to solidify a never ending campaign of slick snake oil selling
on the part of the Obama administration and the glib attitude with
regard to tyranny.
Instinctively, the average American knows a lot of things, they hope
for many things and have endured all sorts of challenges. Many Americans
are tired and worn down. Because of all of these things, I believe that
most of America needs something to inspire them. They need to think of
something greater than what is in front of them.
For some time now it can be said that Americans have craved a sense
of openness with regards to many of the mysteries and secrets that they
have always pondered privately. Public opinion has shifted it seems
towards a more open dialogue about where we are in history, what the
future holds, and whether or not we are alone in the universe.
It is unfortunate that the open dialogue about such matters is
limited to a few radio talk shows and a few late night specials on
either the Science or History cable channels.
Those who want to know how we can share and even become aware of what
has been kept secret with regard to UFO/Extraterrestrial/Exobiology in
the past are now discussing transparency. They are becoming well
organized and they no longer want to hide in the shadows and keep the
reality hidden.
Our civilization is on a trajectory. Many are seeing the future as
something to behold and to even expect to be a time where mankind will
eventually have no doubt that there is a celestial brotherhood of sorts
and that there are exobiological wonders to be revealed.
Knowing that this is an eventuality can’t be stopped. The difficult
part is to somehow release the basic information of the reality of life
beyond the stars without falling into the trap of a government, or even a
religious and science authority that wishes to manipulate the
information so that they can have controls on it.
The struggle to end the secrecy behind the UFO/Exobiology reality has
been going on since after World War II. It was during that time that
there seemed to be a swath of UFO sightings, and reports of alien
encounters that were exploited for the purpose of discrediting the
witnesses and diminishing their character in order to keep the secret
well hidden.
Now it is a challenge to patiently and without cynicism discuss this
topic on a rational level. I find it difficult to get through a
discussion on this topic without noticing the fanatically religious
feeling threatened by the possibility of extraterrestrial visitations.
They tell me countless times that it is a “grand deception” or part
of the so-called Satanic conspiracy to undermine religion and replace
the one true savior with externalized saviors coming down from the
heaven’s in flying saucers.
This is a relatively new attitude amongst charismatic followers of
Christianity. It used to be that the religious mind saw the UFO
phenomenon as an extension of all of the other religious symbols of
“wheels in the sky,” “pillars of fire,” “Flaming chariots” and
“descending beings from heaven.”
There was no question as to what you were required to put your faith
towards. It was quite simply a matter of devotion to God through a faith
building foundation found in the Holy Spirit. The following of Christ
was a personal commitment and all beings whether they are gods, angles
or demons were merely extensions of the unlimited universe.
Now it seems that for some people the thought of disclosure of such
realities are a threat to the prosaic views of rigid thinkers. There is
no condemnation in realizing personal revelation of the possibility of
civilizations that may live elsewhere in the universe.
It is not comforting to realize we may have been lied to or
manipulated into believing a sugar–coated fantasy about the true origins
of man and his relationship and kinship with a real God.
The story has somehow been mixed and manipulated into becoming some
perversion that has been well organized by the mystery religions. So, it
may be necessary to examine different versions of the story in order to
understand the similarities between a real God and an alien overseer.
It has taken thousands of years, many books and so–called sacred
texts to continually wire the human mind for the arrival of Gods,
angels, demons, extra–terrestrials, aliens or whatever metaphor you
choose to use.
Whoever is behind it has had the sound knowledge of social
engineering and a clear view of the intended goal. Keeping a mystery is a
subtle weapon and keeping a secret is a manipulative tool to get the
reptilian mind working to try and reveal the secret. Carl Jung wrote about the alien intervention and how it is a part of our consciousness.
It is quite fascinating because it seems that the so–called alien
invasion happens because we summon these chaotic beings. They come to
torment us because we send the signal to them without even knowing it.
In Jung’s analysis, the concept of alien intervention and the UFO
phenomena represented a form of alienation, with one’s “self” projected
into the sky. According to Jung, “the aliens” act as harbingers
indicating that something is terribly wrong with the world. Some of
these so–called aliens bring inspiration and revelation to certain
individuals.
The contactee attempts to point out how we can save the planet and
reconcile our relationship with the universe. But if this reconciliation
does not take place the alien intervention can backfire and become
malignant. The result is blight and destruction.
The thought of extraterrestrial disclosure is actually admitting that
entities that do great things for mankind exist and that there are
other entities that are here for conquest.
There is no great deception that is a myth that is being generated so
that churches do not lose their power. There is no protection from any
entity or being that wishes to reveal itself, and the complicated task
of disclosure has to weigh in on both aspects of the alien agenda and
exactly what it is, whether it be good, evil or even amoral.
Many believe that their churches will protect them. Many people
believe that their rituals and schemes will protect them. It is the
folly of human beings to think themselves into a false sense of security
when even the Old Testament speaks of those “lords that dwell beside
God” and their power to control even the most faithful.
“O Lord our God, OTHER LORDS BESIDE THEE HAVE HAD DOMINION OVER US!” — Book of Isaiah
The other lords spoken of have to be alien or extraterrestrial
entities, this is from the Bible, the same Bible that allegedly says
that the alien reality is a deception.
Just how strong can one be when they are face to face with these
“other lords” and realize that the alien/extraterrestrial question is
easily answered and not so quickly dismissed as some deception?
In the creeping gnosis that is being infused by mainstream occultists
and science fiction pop culture we are beginning to understand that
there is an air of fear, hatred, jealousy, and wrath that is destroying
the balance of all things.
This gets in the way of disclosing truth and this is probably why it
is not really that important for the governments of the world to
acknowledge that these beings exist. These matters may belong to the
churches and to the scientists that seem to be reluctant in announcing
the reality, but secretly hope for missions and experiments that can
happen in the cosmos that can eliminate all doubt that there is
something greater out there watching over us.
It seems that the cosmic ocean now is showing that it is turbulent.
These are seen as signs to the believer that change is coming and that
this signals the return of a savior from the skies. The savior that
comes actually has many names depending on the faith that fuels the
mythos.
Regardless of what name you give the savior from the skies, it is
still the equivalent of an event that reveals that there are “lords that
have dominion” over us.
We have been told that the new dawn or the new age is here, and the fanatical elite are now preparing for the mass holocaust.
Pay attention to what is going on in other countries. The final war
for resources has begun. We will soon become the witnesses to one of the
most horrific events in human history.
The demons and angles of the medieval times have returned and they
are now in alien clothing. By our own indifference we have given them
the keys that unlock the very doors in our hearts that we never knew
existed.
We see them as sentinels or guardians of our stewardship, even though
the truth is that it is our responsibility to provide methods and
resources for our own survival. Now it seems that we will be
surrendering to what may come our way from the stars.
There are many people in power today who abuse your trust and good
faith in order to move along their agendas. They wrap themselves in
protective myths and they are able to wrap you up in them as well. They
tell you that they have royal bloodlines that the blood of God flows
through them.
These powerful elitists know that if anything was disclosed about
morally superior beings living out there it would most certainly destroy
the power the wield over the planet.
We must stop and wonder how sane the powerful truly are when they go
about the business of killing and maiming people because their might
dictates that they can. How sane are these idols of respectability when
they molest children, and continually steal money from the poor and the
sick and ignore them as they are forced to starve to death on their
watch?
Why do we enable this?
Why do we enable the secrecy about the reality of what awaits us in
the future? Why is it that people are looking in the wrong direction
when it comes to evil in this world? This is where you will find this
so-called deception; it is not in the world of what has been called the
supernatural, or even the natural that is indistinguishable from magic.
We try to put all the blame on these entities for the wars and the
tyrannies of the world. But a demon or an alien entity does not appear
unless it is empowered. It cannot enter in unless it is invited in. It
will go on being an obstacle unless it is removed.
It will go on being misunderstood until its reality is disclosed.
The Colorado River, The High Plains Aquifer And The Entire Western Half Of The U.S. Are Rapidly Drying Up

What
is life going to look like as our precious water resources become
increasingly strained and the western half of the United States becomes
bone dry? Scientists tell us that the 20th century was the wettest
century in the western half of the country in 1000 years, and now things
appear to be reverting to their normal historical patterns. But we
have built teeming cities in the desert such as Phoenix and Las Vegas
that support millions of people. Cities all over the Southwest continue
to grow even as the Colorado River, Lake Mead and the High Plains
Aquifer system run dry. So what are we going to do when there isn't
enough water to irrigate our crops or run through our water systems?
Already we are seeing some ominous signs that Dust Bowl conditions are
starting to return to the region. In the past couple of years we have
seen giant dust storms known as "haboobs" roll through Phoenix, and 6 of the 10 worst years for wildfires ever recorded in the United States have all come since the year 2000.
In fact, according to the Los Angeles Times, "the average number of
fires larger than 1,000 acres in a year has nearly quadrupled in Arizona
and Idaho and has doubled in every other Western state" since the
1970s. But scientists are warning that they expect the western United
States to become much drier than it is now. What will the western half
of the country look like once that happens?
A recent National Geographic article contained the following chilling statement...
The wet 20th century, the wettest of the past millennium,
the century when Americans built an incredible civilization in the
desert, is over.
Much of the western half of the country has historically been a
desolate wasteland. We were very blessed to enjoy very wet conditions
for most of the last century, but now that era appears to be over.
To compensate, we are putting a tremendous burden on our fresh water
resources. In particular, the Colorado River is becoming increasingly
strained. Without the Colorado River, many of our largest cities simply
would not be able to function. The following is from a recent Stratfor article...
The Colorado River provides water for irrigation of
roughly 15 percent of the crops in the United States, including
vegetables, fruits, cotton, alfalfa and hay. It also provides municipal
water supplies for large cities, such as Phoenix, Tucson, Los Angeles,
San Diego and Las Vegas, accounting for more than half of the water
supply in many of these areas.
In particular, water levels in Lake Mead (which supplies most of the
water for Las Vegas) have fallen dramatically over the past decade or
so. The following is an excerpt from an article posted on Smithsonian.com...
And boaters still roar across Nevada and Arizona’s Lake
Mead, 110 miles long and formed by the Hoover Dam. But at the lake’s
edge they can see lines in the rock walls, distinct as bathtub rings,
showing the water level far lower than it once was—some 130 feet lower,
as it happens, since 2000. Water resource officials say some of the
reservoirs fed by the river will never be full again.
Today, Lake Mead supplies approximately 85 percent of the water that
Las Vegas uses, and since 1998 the water level in Lake Mead has dropped by about 5.6 trillion gallons.
So what happens if Lake Mead continues to dry up?
Well, the truth is that it would be a major disaster...
Way before people run out of drinking water, something
else happens: When Lake Mead falls below 1,050 feet, the Hoover Dam's
turbines shut down – less than four years from now, if the current trend
holds – and in Vegas the lights start going out.
Ominously, these water woes are not confined to Las Vegas. Under
contracts signed by President Obama in December 2011, Nevada gets only
23.37% of the electricity generated by the Hoover Dam. The other top
recipients: Metropolitan Water District of Southern California (28.53%);
state of Arizona (18.95%); city of Los Angeles (15.42%); and Southern
California Edison (5.54%).
You can always build more power plants, but you can't build more
rivers, and the mighty Colorado carries the lifeblood of the Southwest.
It services the water needs of an area the size of France, in which live
40 million people. In its natural state, the river poured 15.7 million
acre-feet of water into the Gulf of California each year. Today, twelve
years of drought have reduced the flow to about 12 million acre-feet,
and human demand siphons off every bit of it; at its mouth, the riverbed
is nothing but dust.
Nor is the decline in the water supply important only to the citizens
of Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Los Angeles. It's critical to the whole
country. The Colorado is the sole source of water for southeastern
California's Imperial Valley, which has been made into one of the most
productive agricultural areas in the US despite receiving an average of
three inches of rain per year.
You hardly ever hear about this on the news, but the reality is that
this is a slow-motion train wreck happening right in front of our eyes.
Today, the once mighty Colorado River runs dry about 50 miles north
of the sea. The following is an excerpt from an excellent article by Jonathan Waterman about what he found when he went to investigate this...
Fifty miles from the sea, 1.5 miles south of the Mexican
border, I saw a river evaporate into a scum of phosphates and discarded
water bottles. This dirty water sent me home with feet so badly infected
that I couldn’t walk for a week. And a delta once renowned for its
wildlife and wetlands is now all but part of the surrounding and parched
Sonoran Desert. According to Mexican scientists whom I met with, the
river has not flowed to the sea since 1998. If the Endangered Species
Act had any teeth in Mexico, we might have a chance to save the giant
sea bass (totoaba), clams, the Sea of Cortez shrimp fishery that depends
upon freshwater returns, and dozens of bird species.
So let this stand as an open invitation to the former Secretary of
the Interior and all water buffalos who insist upon telling us that
there is no scarcity of water here or in the Mexican Delta. Leave the
sprinklered green lawns outside the Aspen conferences, come with me, and
I’ll show you a Colorado River running dry from its headwaters to the
sea. It is polluted and compromised by industry and agriculture. It is
overallocated, drought stricken, and soon to suffer greatly from
population growth. If other leaders in our administration continue the
whitewash, the scarcity of knowledge and lack of conservation measures
will cripple a western civilization built upon water.
Further east, the major problem is the drying up of our underground water resources.
In the state of Kansas today, many farmers that used to be able to
pump plenty of water to irrigate their crops are discovering that the
water underneath their land is now gone. The following is an excerpt
from a recent article in the New York Times...
Vast stretches of Texas farmland lying over the aquifer no longer
support irrigation. In west-central Kansas, up to a fifth of the
irrigated farmland along a 100-mile swath of the aquifer has already
gone dry. In many other places, there no longer is enough water to
supply farmers’ peak needs during Kansas’ scorching summers.
And when the groundwater runs out, it is gone for good. Refilling the
aquifer would require hundreds, if not thousands, of years of rains.
So what is going to happen to "the breadbasket of the world" as this underground water continues to dry up?
Most Americans have never even heard of the Ogallala Aquifer, but it
is one of our most important natural resources. It is one of the
largest sources of fresh water on the entire planet, and farmers use
water from the Ogallala Aquifer to irrigate more than 15 million acres
of crops each year. It covers more than 100,000 square miles and it
sits underneath the states of Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Colorado,
Kansas, Nebraska, Wyoming and South Dakota.
Unfortunately, today it is being drained dry at a staggering rate.
The following are a few statistics about this from one of my previous articles... 1. The Ogallala Aquifer is being drained at a rate of approximately 800 gallons per minute. 2. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, "a volume equivalent to two-thirds of the water in Lake Erie" has been permanently drained from the Ogallala Aquifer since 1940. 3. Decades ago, the Ogallala Aquifer had an average depth of approximately 240 feet, but today the average depth is just 80 feet. In some areas of Texas, the water is gone completely.
So exactly what do we plan to do once the water is gone?
We won't be able to grow as many crops and we will not be able to support such large cities in the Southwest.
If we have a few more summers of severe drought that are anything
like last summer, we are going to be staring a major emergency in the
face very rapidly.
If you live in the western half of the country, you might want to
start making plans for the future, because our politicians sure are not.

Graham Fuller, Uncle Ruslan, the CIA and the Boston Bombings
One of the many unexplained (at least not officially)
anomalies of the persons claimed to have carried out the Boston Marathon
bombings is the presence of key CIA figure in the direct family of the
accused brothers. Ruslan Tsarnaev, the outspoken uncle of the brothers
was married to Samantha A. Fuller until 2004. Samantha’s father is
Graham Fuller, the senior CIA person who architected the Afghan Islamic
fundamentalist Mujahideen war against the Soviets. He is also implicated
in creating a global jihad network, presumably acting on behalf of CIA
interests.
Ruslan Tsarnaev, who changed his name to Ruslan Tsarni, lives in a
posh Washington DC suburb of Bethesda Maryland. He has worked in the
past for companies tied to Dick Cheney’s Halliburton as well as a
“consultant” in Kazakhstan with the State Department’s USAID which has
been identified as a CIA front. [1]
Take it all in: The two brothers, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, Tamerlan Tsarnaev,
accused though never proven in a court of law to have been responsible
for the Boston Marathon bombings, had an uncle, the same uncle who
agreed to bury the remains of the one dead brother. This uncle was
married to the daughter of Graham Fuller, one of the most important CIA
architects of using Islamic Jihadists/terrorists against the USSR during
the Cold War and after, throughout Central Asia, including Chechnya and
Kazakhstan. Coincidence? The Fuller CIA Link
The discovery of the connection between a very, very senior CIA man,
Graham Fuller, to the uncle of the accused Boston bombers was more than a
bit embarrassing for Fuller. He took what for a professional CIA agent
was an extraordinary step of issuing a public denial. In an exclusive
interview on what reportedly is a CIA-linked website, “Back Channel—Al-Monitor,”
Fuller hurriedly denounced media links of his CIA connection to the
bombers’ uncle: “…possible connections between Ruslan and the Agency
through me are absurd.” [2]
Fuller then went on to admit, “Samantha was married to Ruslan Tsarnaev
(Tsarni) for 3-4 years…They also lived in our house in [Maryland] for a
year or so…” [3]
Fuller went on to claim Ruslan was “homesick” for Chechnya, and that
his English was “shaky,” yet after the Boston bombings, a very
English-fluent Ruslan gave a press conference from his posh Maryland
home denouncing his nephews.
The central question is who is Graham Fuller? The answer turns out to
be that he was perhaps if not THE most instrumental, one of the most
instrumental people inside the CIA during the 1980’s who convinced CIA
Director Bill Casey and the Reagan Administration to recruit
fundamentalist Muslim Salafists or Jihadists from Saudi Arabia, Pakistan
and elsewhere, train them in techniques of guerilla insurgency and send
them against the Soviet-occupied Afghanistan. They were called
Mujahideen.[4]
One of the more famous of those Mujahideen was a young Saudi from a
very wealthy family named Osama bin Laden. In a sense then we might call
Graham Fuller the “Godfather of Al Qaeda.”
Fuller was also the key CIA figure in convincing the Reagan
Administration to tip the balance in the eight-year-long Iran-Iraq war
by using Israel to channel weapons to Iran in what became the
Iran-Contra Affair. As well, in 1999, around the time his daughter
Samantha and “Uncle” Ruslan Tsarni (aka Tsarnaev) lived at his home near
Washington, Fuller, former Deputy Director of the CIA’s National
Council on Intelligence, then a senior figure at the Pentagon and
CIA-linked neo-conservative RAND corporation, advocated using Muslim
forces to further US interests in Central Asia. He stated, “The policy
of guiding the evolution of Islam and of helping them against our
adversaries worked marvelously well in Afghanistan against [the
Russians]. The same doctrines can still be used to destabilize what
remains of Russian power, and especially to counter the Chinese
influence in Central Asia.” [5]
This is precisely what happened in Chechnya with hundreds of
CIA-trained Jihadists and Al Qaeda fighters sent into Chechnya, Dagestan
and other parts of the former Soviet Union, precisely where Uncle
Ruslan and his two Tsarnaev nephews came to the USA from. Coincidence?
Is it mere “coincidence” that the uncle of the two young men accused
of the Boston bombings was related in marriage to the CIA figure who
advocated using the networks which were later named “Al Qaeda” across
Central Asia including Chechnya where the Tsarnaev brothers had roots?
The more independent researchers examine evidence around the Boston
terror bombings, the more the official US Government version of events
stinks. Closeup pictures of obviously fake red paint designed to look
like blood from a man whose legs were supposedly blown off of flesh to
the bone, pictures of private security contractors carrying large
backpacks at the direct bombing site after the bombing and chatting with
police, reports of eyewitnesses of police over loudspeakers telling
marathon runners there was a “terrorism exercise” taking place as a test
that day. All these anomalies, combined with the CIA ties of Uncle
Ruslan, present an incredible set of coincidences. It is time for an
open and serious citizen commission of inquiry be formed to investigate.
In a future article we will look closely at the role of the same
Graham Fuller in creation of what is rapidly becoming an Islamic
fundamentalist dictatorship in Turkey and across the Islamic world. The
Graham Fuller Ruslan Tsarni connection opens up what looks to be a very
ugly can of worms. The two accused of the Boston bombings were never
proven guilty. Their mother in Russia vehemently insists they were set
up as patsies by the US Government to be blamed.[6]
It may be that carelessness somewhere exposed Graham Fuller and the
tip of a very secret and very explosive network of international terror
whose ties with Langley and the US Government are inadvertently coming
into daylight in what might well be the most important revelation of
destructive secret intelligence operations in modern history. Graham
Fuller, ‘methinks thou doth protest too much,’ when you proclaim absurd
ties between the CIA and accused Boston bombers and that is drawing the
spotlight of the civilized world to you and your accomplices and
activities. Fuller’s earlier role in Turkey with another network of
Salafist fundamentalist Islam will be our next view into the murky
underworld of intelligence agencies and attempts to manipulate entire
parts of the human population.

As I revisited this whole nuke thing after all these years and was
mulling over the photos of all those singed and bent vehicles, my friend
Connie Smith — a long-time 9/11 researcher some of you may know —
dropped me a note reminding me of something I’d completely forgotten
about: the fascinating case of EMT Patricia Ondrovic.
Connie reminded me of an interview with Ondrovic, published back in
October 2001 (and which I’d read circa ‘04). When I expressed an
interest to reread it, she dug up a copy and sent it to me (see
attached). Ms Ondrovic’s account is truly ‘bizarre’, and a testament to
the fact that there were forces at play on 9/11 that modern technology —
indeed, mainstream science — simply cannot explain. Please read the
attached PDF doc carefully. It’s one a helluva wake-up call.
As this terrified woman was running pell-mell away from the first
collapsing tower — her hair, coat and feet on fire — Ms Ondrovic
witnessed vehicles parked along the street spontaneously erupt into
flames. She even witnessed an aircraft disappear while in flight: “I saw
something in the sky, it was a plane, but it was way out. It looked
like it was over Jersey or something, then it wasn’t there anymore. I
saw a small fireball, and it was gone. I saw two other planes. One came
in one way, and the other came in the other way, and there was a plane
in the middle that was way far off in the distance. Then the plane in
the middle just disappeared into a little fire ball. It looked like the
size of a golf ball from where I could see it. And the other two planes
veered off into opposite directions. I just kept on running north.” And
she’s got a lot more to say.
Then there’s this other chap Connie knows (“a famous author”) who’d
interviewed another woman who had witnessed “people engulfed in some
sort of fireball and disintegrating.” Connie just dug up the following
note from this person to her, and is checking to see if I may get in
touch with him directly.
“I interviewed a Red Cross worker in Dallas whose name escapes me at
the moment but I have her report in my files. She told me she was sent
to NYC by the Red Cross to help survivors of the WTC. She said the thing
that most stuck out in her mind after interviewing dozens of people was
the number that told her of looking back and seeing people engulfed in
some sort of fireball and disintegrating.
Obviously, a collapsing building cannot produce such an effect. But a
mini-nuke shaped charge placed in the basement to blow out the central
core columns could. A small nuclear device could also explain the
pyroplasmic cloud seen above the WTC, the disintegration and warping of
heavy steel beams and the pulverization of so much concrete, not to
mention the blood cell cancer now suffered by some of the first
responders.”
Folks, this obviously isn’t Nanothermite at work here. I can’t even
begin to guess what it could be. DEWs, or some similar ‘exotic’
technology, may not be that farfetched after all? As my old Alaskan
buddy from Arkansas would’ve exclaimed, “Wayl, ahd be go to hayl!”

basement of the North Tower recalled, “That day I was in the basement in
sub-level 1 sometime after 8:30am. Everything happened so fast,
everything moved so fast. The building started shaking after I heard the
explosion below; dust was flying everywhere and all of a sudden it got
real hot. I threw myself onto the floor, covered my face because I felt
like I was burned. I sat there for a couple of seconds on the floor and
felt like I was going to die, saying to myself ‘God, please give me
strength.’ When I went in, I told them it was an explosion,” David, with

Skin dripping off the body was mentioned by several 9/11 victims.
Gamma ray radiation can cause a person to just feel heat, then pain and
then the skin will be damaged. The skin may be vaporized, charred or
left hanging.
Shirley Hoofard was a 38-year-old Red Cross worker in the Dallas area
on 9/11. Hoofard was ordered to New York to begin working with victims
and their families. She also was ordered not to reveal any information
to the media or the public.
“It was very difficult to deal with,” she recalled. “The only way I
got through it was to shut down. I didn’t think or feel. I just did what
I did. By the middle of January [2002] I said ‘I have to go home.’”
But she could not get out of her mind what some of the victims told
her. “Several victims told me they saw people engulfed in a fireball and
disintegrating. One man said he was at work when he heard a loud noise
and at the far end of the cubicles he saw a man running toward him with a
fireball coming after him. The running man just exploded, flying into
pieces…I heard stories like that from people from both towers….I don’t
know the physics but at what temperature does a human vaporize?”

“He looked absolutely terrified, he was shaking, he was pale, he was
sweating. I looked at him, I said what’s wrong? He said there’s another
plane headed our way, and they just blew up the Pentagon. I said,
another plane? What are you talking about? I hadn’t realized that planes
had hit this, I thought they just set bombs off. I didn’t realize when I

Benghazi Whistleblower Drops Bombshell! You should have seen what (Clinton) tried to do to us that night!
Benghazi whistleblower Mark I. Thompson, a former Marine and now the
deputy coordinator for operations in the State Department’s
counterterrorism bureau, is expected to level the allegation that former
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and a key aide effectively tried to
cut his department out of the chain of reporting and decision-making.
His testimony is set to begin on Wednesday before Chairman Darrell
Issa’s House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.
But there’s another official Fox News is reporting on.
Fox News has also learned that another official from the
counterterrorism bureau — independently of Thompson — voiced the same
complaint about Clinton and Under Secretary for Management Patrick
Kennedy to trusted national security colleagues back in October.
Thompson considers himself a whistle-blower whose account was
suppressed by the official investigative panel that Clinton convened to
review the episode, the Accountability Review Board (ARB). Thompson’s
lawyer, Joseph diGenova, a former U.S. attorney, has further alleged
that his client has been subjected to threats and intimidation by
as-yet-unnamed superiors at State, in advance of his cooperation with
Congress.

“You should have seen what (Clinton) tried to do to us that night,” the
second official in State’s counterterrorism bureau told colleagues back
in October. Those comments would appear to be corroborated by
Thompson’s forthcoming testimony.
The State Department said these allegations are “100 percent false.”
Daniel Benjamin, who ran the department’s Counterterrorism Bureau at
the time, also put out a statement Monday morning. He said, “I ran the
bureau then, and I can say now with certainty, as the former Coordinator
for Counterterrorism, that this charge is simply untrue. Though I was
out of the country on official travel at the time of the attack, I was
in frequent contact with the Department. At no time did I feel that the
Bureau was in any way being left out of deliberations that it should
have been part of.”
He said that his bureau was a “central participant in the interagency
discussion about the longer-term response to Benghazi.” He said “at no
time was the Bureau sidelined or otherwise kept from carrying out its
tasks.”
Well, let’s see here. The State Department, Hillary Clinton in
particular, went along with YouTube video being the reason for the
Benghazi attacks, even though they would later claim they never did. In
fact, she still wouldn’t rule that out when she was before the Senate
earlier this year. This really brings into question anything anyone in
that Department says that is in favor of the current administration’s
“official story.”

Partisanship Over Spying On Journalists Is Stupid: Spying On Journalists Is Bad, Period

I've
said many times before that I'm not a member of any political party,
nor a fan of partisanship in general, and that means most political
parties are a ridiculous concept to me, because they're more focused on
"beating the other guy" than doing what's right. This often becomes
quite clear when power shifts from one party to the other, and people
who used to complain about too much power in the executive suddenly want
more power for "their guy" or vice versa. The latest example of this
on display can be seen in the partisan response to the DOJ spying on AP reporters.
On the Republican side, politicians are reasonably up in arms about
this, but they seem to ignore that when "their guy" was in the Oval
Office, they were very much in favor of having the DOJ sift through reporters' emails. On the Democratic side, you have groups like Media Matters, ridiculously destroying its own credibility by coming out with talking points about how the DOJ did the right thing
in spying on reporters. Basically, it's all about "defend your guy /
attack the other guy" no matter what the situation is. This obviously
isn't true across the board -- there certainly have been some party
members "crossing lines" to express horror at this kind of surveillance.
Frankly, this kind of partisanship is part of why so few people trust
Congress. It seems like a pretty clear case of what's good and right,
and spying on journalists' communications is generally considered not right.
A principled stance would be to oppose that, no matter which party is
in power. When positions are staked out clearly based on partisanship,
the public loses whatever little trust it has that the government has
its best interests in mind.
Criminality Appears To Lie at the Heart of the IRS Scandal
When
you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of
tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea
Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC
colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step
further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012
election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party
landslide.
There are a lot of numbers out there. Some say Tea
Party applications for tax-exempt status averaged 27 months for
approval, while applications from liberal groups averaged nine. In one
extreme case, according to the Washington Post, the IRS granted
the Barack H. Obama Foundation tax-exempt status in a speedy one-month
timeframe. Yet some conservative groups waited up to three years, and
some still haven’t received approval.
But there can be only one reason
for the stalled-out approval process for conservative groups. The IRS
was trying to put them out of business. Thus far, there’s not one wit of
contradictory evidence.
Think of this: If the IRS wasn’t
politically targeting conservative groups, why did its leading
spokespeople lie? This was not even cognitive dissonance. It was
outright lying before Congress. Lois Lerner, a key player in the IRS’s
tax-exempt division, is being accused by the House Oversight and
Government Reform Committee of no fewer than four lies. The inspector
general’s report shows that she knew about the targeting problem in June
2011, but wouldn’t admit to it in correspondence with Congress over the
next two years.
Then there’s former IRS commissioner Douglas
Shulman, a Bush appointee. He apparently knew about the targeting in May
2012, but told Congress in August 2012 that he didn’t.
Or
there’s former IRS acting director Steve Miller, who was just pushed
out. He also knew about the targeting in May 2012, but later refused to
admit it to Congress during testimony.
The whole bloody agency
may have known about it on August 4, 2011. According to the Treasury
Department IG report, various IRS big wigs met that day to talk about
the conservative-targeting problem. That meeting may have included the
IRS’s chief counsel; while the IG report says he was at the meeting, the
IRS has denied that he was. But if one of his minions was at the meeting, the chief counsel would have known about the problem.
And
it turns out the Treasury’s inspector general, J. Russell George, told
senior Treasury officials in June 2012 that he was auditing the IRS’s
political-organization screening. That means White House appointees in
the Treasury, including deputy secretary Neal Wolin, were aware of the
IRS scandal before the presidential election. According to the New York Times, IG George “did not tell the officials of his conclusions that the targeting had been improper.”
No one knows the exact facts, which presumably will come out in the hearings. But this is important stuff. It is conspiracy stuff. Criminal stuff.
We
already know that IRS employees gave heavily to President Obama in 2008
and 2012, and very little to candidates Senator McCain and Governor
Romney. But who was the quarterback in all this? Who was managing the
targeting operation in the bowels of the IRS?
It could have
been Sarah Hall Ingram. She served as commissioner of the IRS’s
tax-exempt division between 2009 and 2012. She got a $100,000 bonus for
her efforts. Now — incredibly — she’s running the IRS’s Affordable Care
Act (Obamacare) office, leaving her successor Joseph Grant to take the
fall. He just turned tail and resigned.
Now get this: President
Obama has named OMB controller Daniel Werfel acting director of the
IRS. He’s only going to serve between May 22 and the end of the fiscal
year, which is September 30. Are you kidding?
In four
months, we’re to believe Mr. Werfel is going to piece together the lies,
finger the quarterback, and replace everybody who was involved, not
just in the now-infamous Cincinnati office, but in offices in
Washington, D.C., two towns in California, and even Austin, Texas.
(That’s the latest count.) This guy Mr. Werfel is also supposed to
manage the agency which is adding Obamacare to its income-tax-collection
responsibilities. In four months.
Nuts.
An
independent special counsel with subpoena power is the only possible
solution. This counsel must find out exactly what happened and who was
involved, and then come up with a fix so it never happens again. Mr.
Obama charged Treasury secretary Jack Lew with straightening this out.
But Mr. Lew’s an Obama political operative.
By the way, a
special counsel will have to do a special investigation, since we’re
already learning the inspector-general investigation was a superficial
operation. An independent special counsel can investigate any
possible White House connections with senior Treasury officials,
connections that could lead to the Oval Office.
We may hate the
IRS because of its taxing power. We may hate it more because of its new
Obamacare power. But it is a massively important government agency. Now
we know that it is fraught with corruption and a liberal-left political
agenda.
Only an independent special counsel could possibly straighten this mess out.
