As can be seen in Truthquake’s photo, Rihanna put one hand on Katy’s butt like a lover and the other hand on her shoulder while kissing. Katy held Rihanna’s waist with both hands.

Adding more fuel to the lesbian rumors, when Katy presented Best Pop Video award, she mentioned like a proud lover: “Look at how hot my girl Rihanna is.”
Later in the show when Rihanna won Video of the Year for “We Found Love,” Katy escorted her to the backstage area while hugging her, and they walked with their arms entwined like lesbian lovers. Katy even put her right arm around Rihanna’s butt and then gently slapped it, which was photographed by Truthquake’s source.

Brian Tuohy, sports industry insider and author of The Fix Is In: The Showbiz Manipulations of the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and NASCAR, has researched the history of illegal rigging and manipulation of professional sports and has uncovered FBI files on the subject that exposes corrupt game fixing by team managers, owners, Mafia, referees and athletes.

He broke down some of the incidences in the 2013 Super Bowl XLVII that were too coincidental to be coincidences or luck.
Tuohy stated exclusively to Truthquake about how the game was likely fixed because there was too much of a gap between the Ravens and 49ers points for the NFL’s liking: “There was one thing I didn’t recall when I posted that bit on my site [referring to the excerpt below].
“I completely forgot about the Ravens unnecessary fake field goal attempt. They were up 14-3 at the time, and would’ve gone up by two touchdowns if they attempted and made the chip shot kick.

“Instead they did a direct snap to the kicker who would’ve had to gain nine yards for the 1st down. That seemed intentional to keep the game from getting out of hand.”
Tuohy expanded on how the Super Bowl was likely a manipulated game on his website TheFixIsIn.net under the article “The Superduper Bowl” referring to the NFL suing a man over trademarking “Superduper:”

Where to begin? The NFL began the year with replacement referees, and it apparently wanted to end the season the same way. Why was Jerome Boger named to be the head referee? And did he know that he and his cohorts could actually throw penalty flags? Never mind the Ravens Cary Williams shoving the head linesman should have led to an immediate ejection; there were only seven flags in the whole game. Just one pass interference (strangely enough on the 49ers DB Chris Culliver, he of the anti-gay remarks), and not one holding penalty. Not one. None on Jacoby Jones’ 108-yard kickoff return for a TD, none on the “safety” by the Ravens punter, none during the 49ers fourth down pass play, none anywhere…except, you know, if you actually saw any of these plays. Like Jim Harbaugh, who publicly complained about the officiating, but has not been fined for these comments.

Then there was the blackout. Somehow the extended halftime didn’t derail the Ravens momentum, but a record-tying kickoff return for a TD (to make the score 28-6) and a 35-minute power delay did. The game changed on a dime the moment the lights went out in New Orleans. No one knows why this happened, and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell apparently didn’t care it was going on. But there’s no way the NFL could’ve orchestrated this themselves. Just so you know.
And while the 49ers play calling could (and should) be called into question – especially when inside the Ravens’ 10-yard line with less than two minutes to play – perhaps the team’s preparations should be questioned as well. See the video here? Where the team’s top stars are heading to the strip club, just to “relax?” Yeah, maybe that wasn’t the best pre-game ritual.
And lastly. Apparently the NFL wants fans to think of Ray Lewis as a perfect spokesman for the league. The guy who admittedly was involved in an unsolved, double-homicide – but who has since found God, but not enough God to relieve the anguish of the victims’ families by apologizing or saying anything more about that night – and who uses PEDs. And cries. A lot. As if he might have some sort of emotional problem from repetitive head injuries.

Super Bowl Superdome in New Orleans had Power-Outage: On Purpose?

For those of you who didn’t watch the Super Bowl, but kinda want to hear about it from my perspective…here is my two cents: I went to a restaurant with a 30 foot screen to watch.

I have noticed that the past years of Super Bowl games have been skillfully crafted entertainment…new records being set, strange plays, new things for sure.
I am really suspicious about all this, as it seems to be skillfully orchestrated rather than happening naturally.
This time we had a 35 min. power outage in the stadium, which I note seems to be a theme the Powers [the "Powers that Be" New World Order] want us to experience this year.
Every time a new all-time record is broke, the announcer knows it the split second it happened, and what the past record was and when it was set, etc. For instance, this year when the Raven’s Jacoby Jones, who runs like a gazelle at Olympic sprint speeds, ran a kickoff 109 yards for a touchdown, the second he got to the goal line the announcer already was declaring the 109 yard return to be a new all-time record as if he were prepared ahead of time for the possibility. Later, it was ruled to be a 108 yard return.

There were several themes along with the football entertainment.
The Sandy Hook children’s choir danced while singing in the opening ceremony (promoting gun control), and Beyonce did her occult stuff, dancing on the faces of two women kissing, or if you looked at it another way, a goat head [the representation of the Devil as Baphomet with a goat head and both male and female genitals].
It is sad how easily humanity gives way to pure idol worship, and she was the idol of the moment. The next Hitler will have no problem receiving the worship of the masses.
The other theme strongly promoted was patriotism, the Super Bowl in essence was not entertainment, but promotion of the U.S. military, it was really a military recruiting program showing our overseas heroes and other military personnel in ways that young men and women would want to sign up to be a hero.
This military theme was so strong, I have to ask myself, “What is the next war that they are wanting our unthinking allegiance to support.”
I love America, but I hate how the Powers manipulate people’s love of country to support their crimes against humanity.

Brian Tuohy, sports industry insider and author of The Fix Is In: The Showbiz Manipulations of the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and NASCAR made a “non-prediction” prediction for the 2013 Super Bowl XLVII and is leaning toward the San Francisco 49ers winning the game over the Baltimore Ravens, but he explains why either team winning would really not benefit the league.

Tuohy told Truthquake News exclusively: “That’s why it’s a “non-prediction” prediction. I don’t see a benefit for the league if either team wins.
“I see more of the “storylines” leaning the 49ers way, but there’s things on the Ravens’ side (like the Ray Lewis story) which makes me feel that the league would do just fine if the Ravens won.
“If I was forced to pick, though, I’d take the 49ers – but I’d rather not be forced to pick.”
The author explained how the game will likely be rigged on his website TheFixIsIn.net :

Here’s the deal: I’ve been asked by quite a few fans of this site if I was going to post a prediction on this year’s Super Bowl. My fans are great, and I’m actually surprised by how many I have. I hate to disappoint them by not making a prediction, but when I do so I run into a conundrum. If I’m correct, I hear, “Well, everyone knew that was going to happen.” If I’m wrong, I get, “You obviously don’t know what you’re talking about, so your theories about professional sports must be wrong.”

In other words, I can’t win.
That written, I’ll say this about this year’s game. I don’t think the NFL will lose unless it’s a lopsided blowout. And even then, this game will be the most watched program on television this year (in fact, in case you didn’t know, the Super Bowl holds 10 of the Top 20 Most Watched TV shows in history). If I had to – legally owned gun to my head – pick a team, I’d say things are leaning the 49ers way.

Why? Four reasons: One, the 49ers recently landed their stadium deal, and the NFL tends to reward teams that sucker taxpayers out of their money. Two, Colin Kaepernick is a budding star and has more TV appeal than Joe Flacco. Three, from what I’ve heard, bettors have been heavy on the underdog Ravens and Vegas rarely loses. And four, the Ray Lewis deer antler spray story is a nice “out” for the Ravens – they were “too distracted” by the press to do their best (so will go the excuse), thus dampening any future reporting on such stories prior to “big” games.
This probably means the Ravens will win, and Ray Lewis will go to ESPN a “two time Super Bowl hero.”

The question I have for you is, are you gambling on this game in any way? Putting a few bucks down on some squares or a parlay card? All to make the game more interesting? I hope not because the NFL and it’s cohorts are fighting the state of New Jersey to keep sports gambling illegal. The leagues’ fear is that you, Mr. or Ms. Fan, will turn into Mr. or Ms. Gambler and watch these games for the entirely wrong reasons. Can’t have that happen now, can we?

The 42-page post mortem report states that the last person to see Houston alive before her Feb. 11 drowning was her assistant, who told the singer to take a bath to get ready for Clive Davis’s pre-Grammys party.
The assistant went to Neiman Marcus to run an errand and when she got back, the report states: “she went into the bathroom and found the decedent lying face down in the bathtub, unresponsive, with the top of her head facing west. The bathtub was filled with water and there was water on the bathroom floor, however, the water was not running. She called out to the bodyguard and they pulled the decedent out of the bathtub. The assistant then called downstairs telling them to call 911.”

Houston was scalded because the bath water she drowned in was 33 degrees C (93.5 degrees F) six hours after she died, which proves the water was extremely hot when she first got into it.

She had patches of “skin slippage” on several parts of her body from hot water burns.
The Los Angele County Coroner’s Office report states: “there are no signs of foul play.”
Police have issued subpoenas to Houston’s doctors and pharmacies, but no one has been arrested yet.
According to reports, police believe they know who her drug dealer is, but he has not been arrested.
If caught, he could be criminally charged with involuntary manslaughter like Michael Jackson’s doctor Conrad Murray.

Prescription drug bottles were found in the living room and bedroom of the Beverly Hilton Hotel suite, and cocaine was found in the bathroom according to the report.
The autopsy states: “Located on the south portion of the [bathroom] counter was a small spoon with a white crystal substance in it and a rolled up piece of white paper, along with other miscellaneous items. Located in the top drawer in the north side of the counter were remnants of a white powdery substance and a portable mirror on a base.
“On the bottom of that base were more remnants of a white powdery substance.”

A rape kit was used to collect physical evidence from Whitney’s body.
The report states: “On Sunday, 2/12/2012, Criminalist Mark Schurchardt used a sexual assault kit on the decedent at the scene…The Criminalist later booked the pubic hair kit, the fingernail clippings, the hair standards and the sexual assault kit at the Forensic Services Center as evidence.

She was photographed hours before her death with blood dripping down her leg while outside of a Hollywood club with sister-in-law Patricia Houston. She had scars under her breasts where she had plastic surgery for implants. She also had scars on her stomach and upper thighs from liposuction.
Houston was wearing a “maxillary dental prosthesis” and had 11 false teeth.

Her relatives have demanded police investigate her death as a murder.
Bobby Brown’s sister Leolah Brown has said several times in recent TV interviews, such as with Dr. Drew and Access Hollywood, that she believes Whitney was murdered by a hitman, but she did not expand on who she thought hired the killer.
Leolah also said that she believed her niece Bobbi Kristina was in danger of being murdered, and she should trust no one but her immediate family.
Rumors have been spreading that Houston was murdered by members of the Illuminati New World Order because she would not partake in their Satanic rituals, she was difficult to control and she was worth more dead than alive.

China admits to existence of 'cancer villages' sprouting up due to extreme pollution, chemical exposure

(NaturalNews) On the heels of my own publication of articles questioning the integrity of "certified organic" when it comes to foods and superfoods produced in mainland China, a blockbuster report from China's own environmental ministry slams another exclamation mark on the severity of the problem. For the first time in history, the Chinese government is now openly admitting that severe exposure to chemicals via water pollution, air pollution and environmental pollution is causing the rise of "cancer villages" across China.

Their report states:

Poisonous and harmful chemical materials have brought about many water and atmosphere emergencies... certain places are even seeing 'cancer villages'... (Source)

It goes on to admit:

[China allows the use of] poisonous and harmful chemical products that are banned in developed countries and pose long-term or potential harm to human health and the ecology.

China is a nation being murdered by chemical pollution

China can no longer deny the truth that its nation, and its people, are being destroyed by toxic pollution. To appreciate the magnitude of this admission, you have to understand that China's government is steeped in the practice of denial. All communist regimes are, of course, delusional at every level, but China has taken denial to a whole new depth of mastery with its longstanding insistence that environmental problems didn't really exist. If a Chinese local saw a wave of bright green sludge pouring down a local river and they complained to the government, they were simply told it was caused by "overpopulation," not by a factory dumping chemical sludge into the river.

Pollution? What pollution? Huh?

In reality, China has the worst pollution problems of any modern nation on our planet. It has allowed industry to explode at the cost of devastating environmental destruction. Virtually no environmental regulations are enforced. The air, water and food are all toxic. Ninety percent of the water supply to Chinese cities is severely contaminated, and forty percent of the nation's rivers are extremely toxic.

This is how "cancer villages" appear, of course: People living in China eat the food grown in China. They breathe the air. They drink the water. And then they start mutating at the genetic level. This results in cancer, birth defects and untold human suffering.

How do foods grown in China get certified organic?

As I have warned Natural News readers over the past few days, the idea that food grown in China can be "certified organic" needs to be seriously questioned. This is especially true given that organic certification does not test for, nor limit, the level of contamination allowed in foods. A food product from China can contain 500ppm of mercury, for example, and still be "certified organic" by the USDA.

How does this happen? The USDA licenses organic certifiers to operate in China. Those local certifiers then visit the local farms and make sure they comply with organic certification requirements. Those requirements include not spraying petroleum-based fertilizers, insecticides or herbicides on crops; not using synthetic hormones in animal feed; not planting GMOs, and so on. But organic standards utterly lack any limits on the pollution of irrigation water sprayed on crops. They do not limit how close your crops can be to a chemical plant, nor do they limit the level of heavy metals contamination in the final product.

So, by definition, a China-grown "organic" food or superfood can be irrigated with toxic chemical runoff, bathed in chemical plant fallout, and grown in heavy metals-laced soil, and still be "certified organic" and sold at Whole Foods!

This realization shocks a lot of people. They had no idea that such heavily contaminated foods could be certified organic and sold at health food stores in the USA.

And now, this new report from China's environmental ministry further supports the severity of the problem there. How are people getting cancer in "cancer villages" all across China? By eating the food grown in China! By drinking the water and breathing the same air that falls on crops in China.

Why would people who are trying to buy the cleanest, purest food and supplements in North America want to source something grown in the same nation where "cancer villages" are sprouting up like cancer tumors?

Always check the country of origin

If you really stop to think about it for a minute, where do you want your organic foods to come from? The cleanest nations on the planet, right? If you're buying "organic," you want it to be from countries like Canada, the USA, France and Germany.

I'm not saying these nations are pristine environments, but compared to countries like China where chemical factories are openly allowed to just flush toxic chemicals right into the rivers, the USA, France and Canada are sparkling clean. This is a case where government -- as cruel and oppressive as it is -- has actually done some measure of good with enforcing environmental regulations against factories and corporate entities. (Yes, the EPA goes way too far in harassing farmers and small business owners, but on the positive side, they have also helped halt all sorts of mega-corporation pollution over the years.)

The upshot of all this is that you have to start checking "country of origin" of everything you buy.

Personally, I am avoiding almost everything grown in China at this point. I wasn't always that way, but the more I've researched this issue, the more convinced I have become that avoiding China-based food products is a rational, commonsense strategy for avoiding the very kind of toxic chemicals and heavy metals that are causing "cancer villages" to appear across China.

Bottom line: If China hopes to continue exporting agricultural products, it must embark in a massive environmental crackdown campaign and stop the poisoning of its nation. Word is already starting to spread, and people everywhere are checking labels and avoiding foods from China. It's only going to get worse, to the point where China will see a crash in its agricultural exports, unless it makes radical and lasting changes to environmental regulations enforcement.

The future of clean food: GREENHOUSES

I'd like to also point out where this is all headed. Thanks to chemtrails (experimental spraying in the atmosphere), factory waste, the fluoride contamination of irrigation waters and other factors, food grown in the open environment is going to become increasingly contaminated. Also, consider this: The trade winds blow air pollution from China straight to the USA, where much of it gets dumped on U.S. soils. Yes, China exports a portion of its pollution to the United States. This alone is reason enough to demand China clean up its act.

The answer to all this is food grown indoors, in controlled environments. By growing food indoors (in a greenhouse), you largely avoid the fallout from chemtrails, coal-fired power plants and industrial factory pollution.

But it's crucial that this food be grown with a clean, off-the-grid water source such as a clean well or even rainwater collection (very expensive). Otherwise, if you're using city water to grow crops, you're effectively spraying those crops with fluoride, chlorine, and in many cases trace levels of pharmaceuticals and other chemicals that the city water supply doesn't remove.

Growing food in a greenhouse year-round practically requires that you invest in a greenhouse that can open its roof. Otherwise, crops overheat in the summer months. What this does is reduce the amount of air pollution falling on crops, but it obviously does not eliminate it.

I have investigated this issue in some detail, and a surprisingly affordable solution for retractable roof greenhouses is offered by Cravo Equipment Ltd..

Unfortunately, this company caters mostly to large, commercial-scale growers and not residential greenhouses. But they have installed retractable roof greenhouses that literally cover dozens of acres of crops, including avocados in Texas, Tomatoes in Mexico, and everything else you can think of. Their roofs are made of a fiber, sort of like a commercial-grade showed curtain, allowing them to be easily opened and closed using a system of cables. They aren't air-tight, however, so in the Northern USA or Canada, a different solution is needed in the winter months.

Ultimately: Grow your own

Over the next two years, you're going to see me focusing a LOT more editorial effort on gardening and food production. I've come to realize that the only sure way to produce truly clean food is to grow it yourself. Only then can you be 100% confident of what's going into that food.

I'm planning on investigating growing systems, including hydroponic systems, aquaculture systems (which produce fish and plants, together) and greenhouse solutions.

I'm also going to run lab tests on home-grown produce to see just how clean we can get these crops by using clean well water and soils that have never been sprayed with chemical pesticides or herbicides.

The ultimate goal of this is to learn and share as much information as possible on how to easily grow your own food while keeping it as simple as possible. I'll be using soil amendments like kelp, manure and compost. This will all be done on camera and presented in a series of instructional videos posted online for free.

Until then, be sure to check the country of origin of all the food you buy. To be on the safe side, avoid anything grown in China. Or if you do eat foods grown in China, ask the packager / manufacturer for lab test results to make sure it's clean.

If you want to track a civilization as it collapses, watch what happens to the concept of the rebel.
On a profound level, mass shootings and assassinations (whether staged or not) are used to define the ever-present “lone assassin” as the REPRESENTATION AND THE SYMBOL OF WHAT THE INDEPENDENT INDIVIDUAL IS.
You’re a separate and distinct individual? An outsider? Watch out. Overnight, you could turn into a raging killer.
You happen to know an outsider, a loner? He’s dangerous. He doesn’t live by the rules the rest of us accept. He’s deranged. Stay away from him. Shun him. And if you see the slightest indication of (insert your own term here), report him to the authorities.
“See a rebel, say something,” to paraphrase the DHS motto.
Any human being who has courage, intelligence, eyes to see, and a determination to express his power in uncompromising terms can now be redefined as a potential threat to the stability of society—if he criticizes the prevailing Authority.
From the 1960s onward—starting with Lee Oswald and the assassination of JFK—the whole idea of “the rebel” with power has been sequentially updated and repackaged. This is intentional.
The objective is to equate “rebel” with a whole host of qualities—e.g., runaway self-serving paranoia; random destruction; out-of-control drug use; generalized hatred; the commission of crimes—qualities that will defeat the very notion of honorable and righteous and powerful opposition to fascist authority:
On a lesser, “commercialized” level, the new rebel can define himself by merely showing up at a concert to scream and drink heavily and break something, having already dressed to make a dissident fashion statement. He can take an afternoon off from college classes and have his arms tattooed. All the while, of course, he functions as an avid consumer of mainstream corporate products.
You even have people who, considering themselves rebels of the first order, support a government that spies on its people 24/7, launches military attacks all over the world, and now funds a Manhattan Project to map every move of the 100 billion neurons of the brain, for the ultimate purpose of controlling it.
More than ever, the individual has to explore and discover, with intelligence, a position that is FOR himself and AGAINST the concocted and sustained illusion called consensus reality.
When the individual embarks on this path, the external false definitions of him as rebel or outsider or mentally ill or criminal no longer matter. Instead, what matters is his deepest nature.
Even going back as far as the 1950s, the so-called decade of conformity, psyops professionals sculpted notions of The Rebel: He was the person who didn’t want to take part in the emerging bland corporate culture.
He was presented as troubled and morose, a wobbly unfocused JD Salinger Holden Caulfield, or a beatnik, a Madison Avenue caricature of somebody who opposed Madison Avenue.
In other words, the people who were shaping the consumer culture were programming the image of the rebel as a cartoon figure who just didn’t want to buy into “the good life.”
Time Magazine ran a cover story on the beatniks, and characterized them as a disaffected trend. Marlon Brando, heading up a bunch of moronic motorcycle riders, invaded a town of pleasant clueless citizens and took it over, wreaking destruction. The 1953 movie was The Wild One. James Dean, who had the same trouble Brando did in getting out a complete sentence, was “the rebel without a cause” in the “iconic film” of the same name. He raced cars toward cliffs because his father couldn’t understand him.
These were all puff pieces designed to make rebels look ridiculous, and they worked. They also functioned to transmit the idea to young people that being a rebel should be a showbiz affectation. That worked, too.
Then the 1960s arrived. Flower children, in part invented by the major media, would surely take over the world and dethrone fascist authority with rainbows. San Francisco was the epicenter. But Haight-Ashbury, where the flowers and the weed were magically growing out of the sidewalks, turned into a speed, acid, and heroin nightmare, a playground for psychopaths to cash in and steal and destroy lives. The CIA, of course, gave the LSD culture a major push.
For all that the anti-war movement eventually accomplished in ending the Vietnam war crime, in the aftermath all those college students who had been in the streets—once the fear of being drafted was gone—scurried into counselors’ offices to see where they might fit into the job market after graduation. The military industrial complex took its profits and moved on, undeterred.
The idea of the rebel was gone. It later resurfaced as The Cocaine Dealer, the archangel of the 1980s.
And so forth and so on. All these incarnations of The Rebel were artificially created and sustained as psyops, for the purpose of deflating attempts at genuine and powerful rebellion. And, at bottom, the idea was to discredit the Individual, in favor of The Group.
Now, in our collectivist society of 2013, The Group, as a rapidly expanding victim class, is the government’s number one project. While extolling this group as heroic and in constant need of help, the government is doing everything it can to crash the economy and widen the population of victims. It’s a straight con. “We’re here to make you worse off while we lift you up.”
In the psyop to demean, distort, and squash the rebel, there is a single obvious common denominator: the establishment media are doing the defining; they are the ones who are setting the parameters and making the descriptions; they are the ones who build and program the cartoons; looking down their noses, pretending to a degree of sympathy, they paint one unflattering picture after another of what the rebel is and does and says; they have co-opted the whole game.
These days, the ultimate rebels, the media would have you believe, are the Tea Party and their affiliated “gun-toting racist bitter clingers who have religion.” Another distorted unflattering portrait, meant not only to drive people away from the Tea Party, but also to prove the guilt, by association, of any person who says the federal government is unconstitutional and out of control.
“All the fascism is on the political Right. There can be no fascism on the Left.” This is the major domestic policy of this administration—this absurd assertion.
The Rebel is real. But he has been covered up by media fabrications and caricatures.
You can take a whole host of political films and television series of the past 50 years, and look at them for signs of the Rebel: Seven Days in May, Advise and Consent, The Candidate, The Seduction of Joe Tynan, Dave, Primary Colors, The Contender, Good Night and Good Luck, The American President, West Wing, Scandal, The Newsroom…
Good acting, bad acting, drama, message—at the end you’re looking for the core. What do the rebel heroes really stand for? What are their principles? It’s all bland. It’s vague. It has the posturing of importance, but little else. It’s not meant to have real substance, only undefined affectation. The rebel takes action, but it’s based on superficial slogan. It’s another deflating caricature.

As I was finishing this piece, a friend wrote with a quote attributed to Robert Anton Wilson: “The universe is a war between reality programmers.”
This is exactly where the real rebel enters the scene. He’s not trying to program people. Freedom means cutting loose from programming.
The rebel dismantles inhibiting and artificial structures.
He doesn’t go to the market and choose which reality program he wants. They’re all used up as soon as they come out of the package.
The political fancy or trend or program of the moment is a hardened dream somebody borrowed to make mince meat out of the population. The rebel has no allegiance to any of this.
Albert Camus one wrote: “The welfare of the people in particular has always been the alibi of tyrants, and it provides the further advantage of giving the servants of tyranny a good conscience.It would be easy, however, to destroy that good conscience by shouting to them: if you want the happiness of the people, let them speak out and tell what kind of happiness they want and what kind they don’t want! But, in truth, the very ones who make use of such alibis know they are lies; they leave to their intellectuals on duty the chore of believing in them and of proving that religion, patriotism, and justice need for their survival the sacrifice of freedom.”
“THIS or THAT” is the modern history of civilization: choose reality program A or B. The choice was always a con.
We’re well into a time period when the experts and scientific authorities are settling on the human being as a biological machine that can only respond to programming. That’s their view and their default position.
It’s sheer madness, of course, but what else do you expect? We’re in an intense technological age, and people are obsessed with making things run smoother. They treat their precious little algorithms for control like the Crown Jewels. They’re terribly enthusiastic about the problem they’re solving, and that problem is us.
We’re the wild cards, a fact which they take to be result of our improper and incomplete conditioning. They aim to fix that.
There is—and has been, for a long time—a blended sequence in operation: a) observe; b) predict; c) control; d)re-create. “Well, we can see many patterns in this society. So we can make some predictions about what is going to happen. Actually, if we covertly introduce certain elements from the outside, we can control what happens. Why not stop diddling around and just make the whole thing over? Why not reshape humans?”
Having decided that, the battle begins between competing programmers of the mind. Which program for humans is better?
The rebel is against all such programming, no matter how “good and right” it sounds. Good and right are the traps:
“Well, certainly we could make a list of qualities we want all people to have. You know, the best qualities, like bravery and determination. Who could be against that? So suppose we could actually program such qualities into humans? Wouldn’t that be a fine thing? Then people would just BE that way…”
The ultimate rebellion is against programming, whatever it looks like, wherever it occurs.

The Obama administration has just announced a far-reaching 10-year program to map the human brain down to the last neuron of activity.
So let’s begin with this:
“The mind is not a material object at all. The mind is not the brain.”
If you made that statement to a modern neuroscientist, the odds are overwhelming he would look at you as if you were visiting from the Stone Age.
“The brain emits the electrical consequences of what the mind originally produced.” Same response from the neuroscientist: you’re crazy.
Backing up still further, you could say that mind is a series of spaces the person himself creates, in order to think, in much the same way a canvas is a space on which the painter imagines and creates.
From at least the time of the classic Bhagavad Gita (written perhaps 2000 years ago), and in ancient Egyptian texts, writers and philosophers have been describing the soul, the spirit, the psyche in various terms.
In the Gita, as Krishna engages Arjuna in their famous debate about war and duty, Krishna moves back and forth between depicting the individual as distinctly and separately and powerfully immortal—and then as part of a greater spiritual Whole.
In either case, the individual is not physical, but inhabits a physical form, and after the body passes away, the individual survives and usually returns for another incarnation.
The soul or spirit or mind are not explainable in physical terms. This is the basic view expressed over and over by philosophies and religions from the dawn of time on this planet.
In the 20th century, that view was subjected to the bulldozer of science.
The chief implication of scientism is: freedom is an illusion.
If you assert that all of life’s processes are ultimately reducible to tiny particles in motion, you are saying this is true of the brain and the mind as well. And that means everything we believe and experience about our own freedom and choice is nothing more than an absurd dream.
And how is that delusional dream produced? It is somehow fired up by these tiny cause-and-effect particles that swim through the universe. The particles are not free. Therefore, neither is the brain, which is made up of such particles.
It gets worse. The tiny particles that compose rocks and concrete and plastic and stars and galaxies have nothing in them that could be called alive.
No research discovers anything in the electron or quark or wavicle that can be identified as Life.
These are the same particles that constitute our brains and our DNA.
The rarely expressed neuro-scientific conclusion? We are all robots made out of flesh with no freedom and no “extra quality” called life.
People profoundly fail to understand this conclusion of neuroscientists and others who tinker with the brain, who now intend to map the brain and its activity down to the last neuron. These scientists don’t care what changes they make in the brain, to render it more “normal and healthy.”
There is, as far as conventional science is concerned, nothing inviolable about the brain.
I’m not talking science fiction. This is the way most neuroscientists, if forced to admit it, see us.
And they are the ones steering the ship of research. They are the ones who will guide the newly announced government Manhattan Project of the brain for the next 10 years. It’s called Brain Activity Map (BAM).
Under the banner of “improved mental health,” BAM looks benign. But it isn’t. It looks like the way to stop the next James Holmes or Adam Lanza, but it isn’t.
It is a far-reaching State program to create The Neurological Society. This is the goal. It now has a major jolt of funding and the blessing/mandate of the federal government.
Think about this. We have a problem posed by the Constitution versus the underlying premises of modern brain science.
On the one hand, we have the founding document which guarantees freedoms. On the other hand, we have the assumptions of science, which cannot affirm the existence of those freedoms.
Well, I can tell you with certainty that the government has just taken a giant step toward Brave New World, and again, this isn’t science fiction. It’s real. BAM is unconstitutional, of course. The notion of the central government using monies to fund a program that will map the brain is so far outside the powers granted to it, it’s absurd.
But why should federal neurological scientists care? They don’t really believe the freedoms guaranteed in the Constitution exist or could exist or might exist. As far as they’re concerned, freedom is a dead issue. It was just a story we told ourselves to feel stronger, better, happier.
Now they have drugs for that. They can change the brain. They will develop new drugs and new electromagnetic strategies for brain alteration. They will develop the ability to remotely observe the brain in much, much greater detail. And from this will spring the means to tweak and change what they observe, on the level of neuronal activity.
Their basis for making those changes will remain obscure, hidden in a welter of technical language. But we know what their fundamental premises will be.
They will involve control of behavior. Parameters will be drawn. Any person whose brain registers activity beyond those boundaries will be judged as a danger, a threat. The threat will be curtailed by limiting and diverting neuronal/synaptic processes.
Thus, good citizens of the State will be created and monitored.
But if soul and spirit and psyche and freedom do exist (and they do), they will be beyond control, since they are non-material.
Thus, efforts at control will have to be more radical and destructive, in order to induce deeper levels of physical stress and glue the consciousness of the individual human being to these artificially created brain states.
And that’s where the gloves come off and the mask comes off. Then we see the real controllers. Far from being sophisticated and subtle and humane guides into our future, they are just the old tyrants in new costumes.
Their major trump card is this. They have, through sheer propaganda, hypnotized a significant percentage of the population into believing that science and research are always good things.
The mere mention of the word “science” is connected with “help.” A better day is coming. More knowledge is always beneficial. People’s needs will be met.
Nowhere is this propaganda more successful than in the arena of medical science.
That is why most people will shrug off the federal brain mapping project as a promising development. “Sure, sounds good.”
Does it? Does a future, up the road, in which all brains are monitored for “problematic activity” sound like a humanitarian system?
Does it suit your personal view of life, soul, spirit, freedom?

Consider this quote from neurologist VS Ramachandran. Read it carefully:
“How can a three-pound mass of jelly that you can hold in your palm imagine angels, contemplate the meaning of infinity, and even question its own place in the cosmos? Especially awe inspiring is the fact that any single brain, including yours, is made up of atoms that were forged in the hearts of countless, far-flung stars billions of years ago. These particles drifted for eons and light-years until gravity and change brought them together here, now. These atoms now form a conglomerate- your brain- that can not only ponder the very stars that gave it birth but can also think about its own ability to think and wonder about its own ability to wonder. With the arrival of humans, it has been said, the universe has suddenly become conscious of itself. This, truly, is the greatest mystery of all.”
No, the greater mystery is how a scientist can believe the brain alone is really capable of all these things—the brain that is nothing but atoms in motion.
Here’s another statement from a well-known neuroscientist, David Eagleman:
“Imagine for a moment that we are nothing but the product of billions of years of molecules coming together and ratcheting up through natural selection, that we are composed only of highways of fluids and chemicals sliding along roadways within billions of dancing cells, that trillions of synaptic conversations hum in parallel, that this vast egglike fabric of micron-thin circuitry runs algorithms undreamt of in modern science, and that these neural programs give rise to our decision making, loves, desires, fears, and aspirations. To me, that understanding would be a numinous [spiritual] experience, better than anything ever proposed in anyone’s holy text.”
It might be a numinous experience if it were true. But it isn’t. The brain, composed of tiny particles, isn’t producing our decision- making or our greatest thoughts. It can’t. There is nothing about atoms that allows for those grand realities.
For the numinous experience, we need spirit, psyche, mind, soul.
And these two neuroscientists I’ve just quoted? They’re the good guys. They’re the people within that community who even try (wrongheadedly) to make something poetic out of the brain.

The overwhelming majority of their colleagues are mechanics, obsessed with tinkering and tweaking and derailing and re-channeling brain activity.
Into their hands, the federal government has just dropped the task of mapping everything that goes on inside our skulls—as a prelude to changing it.
These scientists are, despite their education, Luddites of consciousness. Instead of studying the great works of human history, the art and literature and invention, and trying to grasp our greater non-material faculties, neuroscientists jump to the naked assumption that it all proceeds from the brain.
They believe it must be so. They then dedicate themselves to mapping and charting.
Who is the real threat, the real danger?
They are.
If any monitoring should be done, it should be of them.
Coda: To take this even further, were we to acknowledge our own non-material aspects, beyond the physical, it would imply that we have capabilities that exceed the so-called normal range.
We would realize that, beneath the surface of our social relationships, beneath this culture, we are concealing powers that not only make us free and independent, but open out into creative vistas where we invent formidable and awesome realities.
This is still largely unexplored territory, and it makes what the neuroscientists are doing look like child’s play in a demented sandbox.
For us to understand what we are actually capable of is the controllers’ worst nightmare.
In a subterranean psychic landscape, this is the crossroads where a prime struggle has been taking place for at least 20,000 years of human civilization.

Dead Megaupload Still Has Millions of Visitors

More than a year after Megaupload was shutdown by the feds the site still has millions of visitors every month. Even without content the defunct file-hosting site is among the top 2,500 most-visited websites on the Internet, and only sightly behind Kim Dotcom’s new Mega. The baffling statistics show once again how enormous the site was.
With a self-proclaimed 50 million users a day, MegaUpload was one of the largest file-hosting sites on the Internet.
Last year the feds shut down the popular site accusing Kim Dotcom and six others of money-laundering and several copyright related crimes.
While most of the site’s former users quickly spread out over other sites, visitors kept coming to Megaupload.
Even today, more than a year after the shutdown, the site is still getting plenty of traffic. Based on the Alexa rank of 2,161 the site gets several million visitors a month. Quite remarkable for a site without content.
The graph below compares traffic to the old Megaupload with Kim Dotcom’s new venture Mega, and shows that the two sites are awfully close.

The above is a testament to the immense popularity Megaupload enjoyed. Most of the current visitors probably come from old links to downloads floating around the web. Others may check in occasionally for sentimental reasons, or hoping to get access to the files they stored on the site.
However, these millions of visitors all leave disappointed. For the better part of the year the Megaupload domain has hosted a seizure banner. This banner appears to be gone completely now, but there’s still nothing to see.
During the coming months Megaupload’s traffic will undoubtedly fade away. That is, unless the company is successful in getting the seizure warrants ruled unlawful, so it can take control over the domain again.

Obama Administration Denies Congress Drone Assassination Memos

The Obama White House has stonewalled requests from Congress for access to legal opinions written by the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel justifying the administration’s drone assassination program.
According to a report published Thursday in the New York Times, the administration has worked out a cynical political strategy to keep the documents secret while avoiding any disruption in its bid to gain Senate confirmation of its nominee to head the Central Intelligence Agency, John Brennan, the architect and director of the assassination program.
While denying the drone legal memos requested by Democrats on the Senate Intelligence Committee, thereby risking having one or two of them cast votes against the nomination, the White House is soliciting Republican votes by releasing classified material on the attack last September that killed four Americans at the US consulate and a secret CIA annex in the eastern Libyan port city of Benghazi.
“The strategy is intended to produce a bipartisan majority vote for Mr. Brennan in the Senate Intelligence Committee without giving its members seven additional legal opinions on targeted killing sought by senators and while protecting what the White House views as the confidentiality of the Justice Department’s legal advice to the president,” the Times reported.
The Republicans unsuccessfully sought to turn the administration’s handling of the Benghazi affair into a political scandal during the 2012 election campaign and have continued to harp on it since. They have threatened to hold up Brennan’s nomination until White House emails and other material related to the attack are released to the committee.
The main focus of their criticism centers on allegations that the incident was initially attributed to a spontaneous protest rather than a terrorist attack for political reasons. Neither the Republicans nor the administration have any interest in airing the more fundamental questions underlying the Benghazi events—above all, the close connections forged by the CIA with Islamist militias in both Libya and Syria.
Not a single Democrat or Republican has challenged the White House on the profound legal and constitutional questions raised by its assassination program—in particular, its assertion that the US president has the right to order the killing of American citizens without presenting any evidence against them, much less proving it in a court of law.
The one document that was leaked in advance of Brennan’s confirmation hearing before the Senate intelligence panel two weeks ago argued in favor of the unlimited power of the president to order the assassination of US citizens perceived as enemies of the state anywhere on the planet. Couched in pseudo-legal double-talk, this “white paper” laid down conditions that would supposedly make such a killing legal. The stipulated conditions placed no real restraint on the exercise of the asserted power of the president to order the killing of Americans—something that is, on its face, a gross violation of the US Constitution and international law.
Typical of the Republican reaction was a speech given Wednesday by Senator Lindsey Graham to a rotary club in a small town in his home state of South Carolina. “It’s a weapon that needs to be used,” Graham said. “It’s a tactical weapon. A drone is an unmanned aerial vehicle that is now armed.”
Graham made unintended news with his remarks, which included the first-ever public estimate by a US government official of the number of victims who have lost their lives in drone attacks. He put the number at 4,700. This is considerably higher than figures given by such pro-Democratic Party think tanks as the New America Foundation. A press aide for the South Carolina Republican tried to quell speculation that Graham had leaked classified information, claiming that he was citing press accounts.
Whether or not one or two Democrats on the Senate panel casts a protest vote remains to be seen. None of them subjected Brennan to anything approaching a serious examination, allowing him to give non-answers to the most significant questions. And none of them have shown any inclination to throw up any serious obstacle to Brennan’s confirmation as director of the CIA.
Among the questions Brennan was allowed to evade was whether the administration believes it has the power to order the assassination of an American citizen on US soil. When asked this during his February 7 nomination hearing, Brennan replied cryptically that he was determined to “optimize transparency on these issues, but at the same time optimize secrecy and the protection of national security.” The senators accepted this obfuscation without protest.
Responding to a written follow-up question on the same theme, Brennan responded that the Obama administration “has not carried out drone strikes inside the United States and has no intention of doing so.” This carefully calibrated response does not rule out a future change in the administration’s intentions.
Obama himself was pressed on this question—somewhat more forcefully than the kid gloves treatment given Brennan by the Senate panel—during a Google Hangouts video chat staged February 14 as a follow-up to his State of the Union speech.
Asked about drone strikes against US citizens within the US and whether the administration would present a legal framework to prevent such actions, Obama answered in terms almost identical to those used by Brennan in his written response to the Senate Intelligence Committee.
“There has never been a drone used on an American citizen on American soil,” he said. “We respect and have a whole bunch of safeguards in terms of how we conduct counter-terrorism operations outside of the United States. The rules outside of the United States are going to be different than the rules inside the United States.”
Once again, a non-responsive answer was used to cover up the administration’s real position, which can be inferred by its refusal to foreswear the president’s power to order the assassination of American citizens on US soil, by drone attacks or other means. Obama merely said that he has not yet exercised this power, not that he won’t.
The Senate Intelligence Committee was given tightly restricted access to only two of the Justice Department memos on drone assassinations on the very eve of the Brennan nomination hearing. These documents are believed to set forth the Office of Legal Counsel’s justification for Obama’s order to assassinate Anwar al-Awlaki, the New Mexico-born cleric killed by a 2011 drone strike in Yemen along with another US citizen. Awlaki’s 16-year-old son, also a US citizen, was killed two weeks later in another drone missile attack.
In rebuffing the committee’s request for access to seven more memos and any other material related to the drone strikes—not to mention the refusal to make any of these documents public—the administration is attempting to keep a lid of secrecy on a policy that is clearly criminal and in violation of the Constitution, and bears all the hallmarks of a police-state dictatorship.
Despite the muted controversy over the legal memos requested by Senate Intelligence Committee, it remains the case that there is no significant opposition within the US ruling establishment to the president acting as judge, jury and executioner in the name of an endless “war on terror.”

Christopher Jordan Dorner died February 12 during a deadly exchange with police in the Big Bear Forest in the San Bernadino Mountains of California.
The cabin he was in at the time had erupted in flames.
Officials, after recovering his charred remains, identified the cause of death as a single bullet to the head.
Questions have surfaced about the circumstances of his death, and particularly the fire which engulfed the cabin he was in. While the San Bernadino Sheriff’s Department denies setting the blaze, there exists on police scanners audio in which officers can distinctly be heard calling for the ‘plan’ to be implemented and to ‘burn the f—ing house down.’
A highly decorated, honorably discharged naval reserves officer, Dorner put up an online manifesto explaining his one man war against the LAPD.
He had explained the culture of racism, sadism, and extra-judicial killings and other criminal behaviour that infests the department. He himself was fired after attempting to report the brutal behaviour of a fellow officer only to be accused of lying about the incident. He maintains that he was basically fired for “being an honest cop.”
One individual who finds Dorner’s allegations of injustice in the LAPD credible is investigative journalist, author and radio host Michael Ruppert. Ruppert, a former LAPD narcotics officer tried to expose the CIA trafficking of drugs in 1977 only to be forced out of the LAPD in ’78. Ruppert notes that he had high ratings reports at the time and no pending disciplinary actions against him.
Ruppert correctly predicted that Dorner would likely not be apprehended alive.
