THE DAILY BELL, THAT RETRENCHMENT SCENARIO, AND NORTH AMERICAN UNION

As most regular readers here are aware, I’ve been skeptical of the doom-and-gloom “the banksters are deliberately going to crash the economy to bring in their global government” scenario for quite some time. Mind you, it’s not that I don’t think some of them aren’t crazy enough  or power-hungry to try such a stunt, nor is it because I think that isn’t one of their ultimate goals.  I disagree simply with the timing and analysis of most people in this respect. I have always held the opinion that in the wake of the post-Soviet era “push” by a neo-conservative agenda in America, the agenda driving the 9/11 attacks and response at a certain level, that American unipolar-imperialism’s failure in the post-9/11 world has fostered deep internal fissures within the Western world’s oligarchy and elite. Old factional, national, and regional geopolitical interests have seen a resurgnce, and as a consequence of this, there has been a deliberate retrenchment by the Anglo-American power elite back intoNorth America. As long ago as 2008 on The Byte Show, I maintained that this power elite could ill-afford to weaken its own base of power – North America – by crashing its economy or further shipping of its remaining manufacture overseas.
More recently, in conjunction with people like Catherine Austin Fitts, I’ve also been entertaining the speculative scenario that with 3d printing being pushed to heavily, with the dramatic expansion of fracking and the concomitant dramatic rise of American petroleum production, one is looking at a retrenchment.
But there’s a third pillar to this scheme, which, while not abandoning the goal of globalism, is going to have to retrench, and revive an old and supposedly defunct idea: the North American Union, the iron-and-clay amalgam of the USA, Canada, Mexico, and smaller Meso-American nations:

My only quibble here with the Daily Bell, and it is a small one, is merely that we are looking at more evidence of the factions within the structure orchestrating what they call “directed history,” namely, a faction that wanted to pursue the “globalization quick, and under American hegemony”, ala the unipolar imperialism model in the wake of the Soviet collapse, and the other faction, that wanted to do it on a more long term, “region by region” and “continent by continent” basis. The failure of the former has merely empowered the latter, but the ultimate goal remains the same.  And rest assured, those goals, so far as the Anglo-American faction of the Western oligarchy is concerned, remain a “globalism” under that same Anglo-American hegemony.  And that’s just not going to play for the Chinese, Japanese, Brazilian, Italian, French,German, Spanish, or Indian elites.
So the Daily Bell is right, the whole ludicrous scheme is doomed from the beginning, and ultimately, the elites behind it are doomed along with it. Or, to put it in the terms of the Shelley epigraph with which they begin the article:

On the pedestal these words appear: “My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!”
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.
