MORE FOR THE TRANSHUMANISM SCRAPBOOK: NANOTOOLS AND SUPER-PROTEINS

April 5, 2013 By Here’s a couple more items for the transhumanism scrapbook courtesy of a regular reader here, Ms. P.H. The first of these is a new application of nanotechnology to neuroscience, in the mapping of brain activity of various species, including humans. The abstract of an important paper says it all:
“Neuroscience is at a crossroads. Great effort is being invested into deciphering specific neural interactions and circuits. At the same time, there exist few general theories or principles that explain brain function. We attribute this disparity, in part, to limitations in current methodologies. Traditional neurophysiological approaches record the activities of one neuron or a few neurons at a time. Neurochemical approaches focus on single neurotransmitters. Yet, there is an increasing realization that neural circuits operate at emergent levels, where the interactions between hundreds or thousands of neurons, utilizing multiple chemical transmitters, generate functional states. Brains function at the nanoscale, so tools to study brains must ultimately operate at this scale, as well. Nanoscience and nanotechnology are poised to provide a rich toolkit of novel methods to explore brain function by enabling simultaneous measurement and manipulation of activity of thousands or even millions of neurons. We and others refer to this goal as the Brain Activity Mapping Project. In this Nano Focus, we discuss how recent developments in nanoscale analysis tools and in the design and synthesis of nanomaterials have generated optical, electrical, and chemical methods that can readily be adapted for use in neuroscience. These approaches represent exciting areas of technical development and research. Moreover, unique opportunities exist for nanoscientists, nanotechnologists, and other physical scientists and engineers to contribute to tackling the challenging problems involved in understanding the fundamentals of brain function.” (For the full article, see: Nanotools for neuroscience and brain activity mapping)

Now, before considering the implications of this emerging “nano-neuro-mapping” for mind control and “emotion and thought engineering,” consider this one:
The Super Protein That Can Cut DNA and Revolutionise Genetic Engineering
Now, imagine combining such technologies for a moment, if it were possible(and rest assured, someday, if they haven’t already, someone will try to figure out how to do so). Imagine mapping the neurological function of any species’ brain activity, then, with the new super-protein and the potentials it opens for genetic engineering (ponder that statement in the second article, “But what’s more interesting is that Cas9 can be paired with any string of RNA — strings of molecules not unlike DNA which code and regulate gene expression — to target a matching piece of DNA and snip it with incredible accuracy. Kind of like a pair of tiny, custom DNA scissors. That’s not just interesting — that’s amazing.”).
Amazing yes, and quite chilling when viewed from the standpoint of the alchemical agenda of transhumanism, with its own fusions of man and animal or “manimals.” Imagine engineering a neural fusion of men and (fill in your favorite predator here). Already, as we have indicated on this site and as Dr. Scott de Hart and I mentioned in Transhumanism: A Grimoire of Alchemical Agendas, there are such engineered fusions, and more recently, human brain cells have been added to those of rats’ brains to see if it enhanced the performance of rats.
It did.
But imagine being able to precisely tailor, as if ordering lunch off a menu, the desired types of functions? That, more or less, is exactly what the paper referenced in the super-protein article is about, as a glance at its title, demonstrates: “A programmable dual-RNA-guided DNA endonuclease in adaptive bacterial immunity.”(See A programmable dual-RNA-guided DNA endonuclease in adaptive bacterial immunity.“)
And that is far beyond the wildest fantasies of the maniacs like Ewan Cameron in the MK–ULTRA program.
