RT: ARE THE EARTHQUAKE WARS ON AGAIN?

February 20, 2013 By On Feb 12, 2013, Russia Today (RT) reported on the recent North Korean nuclear test, but did so in terms that left me somewhat baffled. There is the usual expression from the usual parties that North Korea is not abiding by international sanctions, and, somewhat but not entirely surprisingly, both Russia and China have strongly condemned North Korea’s actions. Nothing, really, baffling about that. So why my bafflement?
You see, the test was apparently conducted in the context of “suspicious seismic activity” that occurred almost exactly at the spot of the first North Korean nuclear test site. Here’s the article:
N. Korea conducts 3rd nuclear test, warns more ‘measures’ may come
What disturbs here is that there is nowhere to be found, at least as of my scheduling of this blog, any independent seismic data that confirms the analysis RT is implying. That said:
I have speculated here on this site, and in various talk show interviews (chiefly on the Bye Show), that various earthquakes seem to bear the signatures of something artificial. The Fukushima tragedy to my mind is a candidate high on the list. The Indonesian Tsunami, as I wrote in Covert Wars and Breakaway Civilizations, is another such candidate, and on the Indonesian tsunami, the idea was really suggested by former G.H.W. Bush administration assistant secretary of Housing and Urban Development Catherine Austin Fitts.
Similarly, the Haiti earthquake that so devastated that poor nation, followed shortly thereafter by the Chilean earthquake near Paral, struck me as more candidates for “earthquake wars” and indeed, uniquely so. Haiti, I thought, strangely lacked some signatures of a normal quake, or at least it seemed at the time, since there were few if any reports of shocks in the neighboring Dominican Republic. It is as if only one half of the island of Hispanola shook, as if the island was one of those bed mattresses that allows one partner to shift positions without disturbing the other, or allows one to jump up and down on the mattress without spilling a glass of wine placed on the other end. Haiti, conveniently, was an important financial transit point for the Western financial oligarchy. Then came Chile’s earthquake near Paral, which, lest people forget, is in that region of the country that once was home to the notorious Nazi compound Cologna Dignidad. There were dire predictions in the press of tsunamis in the Pacific…which barely raised a wave. Again, a marginally suspicious signature.  I entertained the speculation that perhaps somebody “shot” at the West(Haiti), and that somebody in the West shot back (Chile). The ever-troublesome Hugo Chavez of Venezuela weighed in on Russian television, and accused the USA of causing the quakes. That, I argued at the time, was interesting, since it implied a measure of Russian government sanction of Mr. Chavez’s views.
Well, all of this was pure speculation. Now RT has come right out and basically stated that North Korea is playing with the nuclear wind and may be about to reap the tectonic whirlwind. But the article is curiously ambiguous. You’ll note we’re shown some pictures of seismographs, but not given enough information about what they say, nor really where nor when they were taken. Thus, for all intentions and purposes, the picture of the seismographs look normal enough for an earthquake, but we don’t really know. (Message to RT here: if you’re going to say this, supply the hard data.)
But then there’s these strange remarks:
“The news of the suspicious seismic activity in North Korea came days after South Korea and the US threatened that they may carry out a pre-emptive strike at North Korean facilities to halt its nuclear program.”
RT’s implicit methodology here is exactly that which I proposed in Covert Wars, namely, if such an event occurs and bears an anomalous physical signature, and occurs within the context of political activity, warnings, and such, then it is a good candidate for an “artificial event.”
Now let’s suppose for the sake of argument that RT is correct, and that the quake was artificial. If so, then it means a number of significant things: first, it means RT, or rather Russia, may have means of detecting artificial events(and we have a blog coming up about that). And as such, it means secondly, that it is willing, through its official media organs, to discuss the subject of “earthquake wars” openly. In this, it is stealing a march on the stupefyingly stupid media of the West, for which the idea of earthquake wars, much less the technology, is still a laughable idea. Here the Western media is, as usual, far behind the curve, for the basic technology and possibility does exist and was even admitted by Clinton Administration Secretary of Defense William Cohen.
Was the quake really artificial? I don’t know, and RT isn’t supplying enough data to back up the article. But the significant thing is that RT would promote the idea that it was. This will be an interesting thing to watch, therefore, because if RT continues to promote the meme, either through Mr. Chavez, or through articles such as this, it will, if it is to remain credible, have to supply some more data…
What do I think the Russians will do?
I think they’ll slowly start supplying the data….
