There are many events in the news that have extreme significance. They are signs of the times. Some are true and some are fake. We start with the approach of asteroid 2012 DA14. It is on the event horizon for Friday February 15th. The 130,000 ton object will pass within the orbit of satellites. That's a close shave by any means. Don't sneeze.

Then of course the BIG news this morning is that North Korea. And how do you know that? Were you there. How do they know it was a small weapon? Were they there? The answer is NO! The only proof we have is the word of one of the world's most murderous states as if that's worth anything. We bow to the media's like trained dogs. I have a MAJOR problem with the story. First, if it was really true, why didn't gold spike? Gold and oil always spike in a crisis. So I am leary. Then there's the twist of fate that I listen to BBC News on the way to work. Low and behold the spokesperson for the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Organisation (CTBTO) was interviewed. He called the 'test' a seismic event. Something went boom YES, but it will take two to twelve days to confirm the presence of RADIATION. So it is NOT confirmed. We are being driven by words without the evidence to back them up. It's called manipulation or wag the dog. It is a diversion from other more important issues and drives the engines of the police maybe to the end run of a tolerated invasion of North Korean troops on the 'homeland' to confisacate those nasty old guns. In a scrap they call it a SUCKER punch. We fall for it all the time. Remember convential explosions can be measured on the Richter scale too.

There is a far more inportant story brewing in Louisiana in the 'homeland.' Although there was always a nicer ring to fatherland unless the political correct God's in Commieland seduced you with motherland. At least the children have Disneyland. Propaganda is so difficult at times. Jesus just had a mount. It was closer to the point I think. Anyway there have been a flurry of seismic events in the sinkhole. There was a great deal of bubbling and talk of the salt domes collapsing. Thank God for the diversions. Scientists state the hole will increase to 1,400 feet in diameter.

Then there's another story that is being kept on the sidelines.The Gulf Stream has stopped. That was way back in 2010 by the way. Britain is becoming a great winter get away of late. Even though it is politically correct to talk about the weather. It is forbidden to speak about what is causing the weather events. One of the results of the Gulf oil disaster is that the oil affected the Gulf Stream. It slowed it down until it stopped. If we believed in 'conspiracy theories,' we might think they did it on purpose. You can't deny global warming and the 'changes' in the environment now. Give us all your money, rights, and freedoms and you'll be O.K. So will they the shadow government.

The Pope Benedict XVI resigned effective February 28th. He's getting out of Dodge. There were serious financial scandals on his watch. They can't drag him off in chains. So he resigned to live in a monastery. In a strange show of force God sent the lighting bolt to the basilica of St. Peter's Dome. Propecy of the Popes said the Pope would be poisoned. There's still time to go. The last pope is supposed to be the next pope too. We'll see.
