THE GMO STORY JUST KEEPS GETTING WORSE AND WORSE, OR, I’LL HAVE A BILDERBURGER, WITH CHEESE, HOLD THE MAYO

when you thought you had heard it all in terms of the health dangers
posed by GMOs, or, for that matter, new all time lows in corporate
greed, hypocrisy, and inhumanity, there’s this one, and it concerns Mr.
Bill Gates and his ownership of a tidy amount of Mon(ster)santo stock:

Now, it’s bad enough that companies like Duponzanto use what amounts to child slave labor. But let’s remember, they were doing so in the West as well until relatively recently in history, and would have continued to pay adults basically subsistence wages and overworking them had it not been for the rise of labor movements in the West. Corporations do not have an admirable track record when left on their own. Neither, for that matter, do governments.
What’s interesting here is that we have yet another example of the very rich being either very stupid, willfully ignorant, or both. I suspect in this case, the latter, for someone of Mr. Gates’ idle leisure has the time and opportunity to study up, at the minimum, on the growing case against GMOs and the human health hazards they pose. So his refusal to answer questions in a chat is either a case of not wanting to admit he doesn’t know, or worse, that he does know, and just doesn’t want to be bothered with it, since such matters conflict with an already adopted agenda, one which it increasingly appears the elite adheres to as a kind of religious zealotry for a favorite dogma.
And that’s all the worse for Mr. Gates. At least HRH Phillip had the good-bad taste to announce to the world he’d like to come back as a deadly virus or pathogen and wipe most of us out. Mr. Gates just doesn’t want to address the issue.
So, for my part, after years of wrestling on PCs with his various versions and updates of the same old operating system crapola that made him a billionaire, I’ve decided that, if I can afford it, my next computer will be a Mac. Apple has like any corporation its problems. But I don’t have to support the likes of a man who supports GMOs and thinks they’re the answer to world hunger. The evidence is mounting they are no such thing, and are indeed hazardous to human health. Perhaps that’s what Mr. Gates is really for, and doesn’t want to discuss. Perhaps he, like the Bush family, will end up buying a ranch in Paraguay so that he too can be close to “old friends” and “like-minded people.” I don’t know, and moreover, I don’t care.
In case I’m not being clear, I find Mr. Gates’ views and attitude, as I find HRH Phillip’s, repellant and loathsome.
