The NNDB Mapper allows a person to map out connections between corporations, extremely wealthy people, famous people, and many of the powerful people who may effect your life.
This is an excellent visual research tool, to provide more insight into who politicians used to work for, for instance.
One could possibly find out if a famous person had been hired or paid by a certain corporation or group, and hidden dots can be connected very quickly.
