Internet Kill Switch Test Conducted On Beforeitsnews?
Beforeitsnews has recently been notified by no fewer than 8 of our
readers that they have been unable to access a particular story on our
website. Strangely enough, those people HAVE been able to access other
stories, just not this particular one. The story in question is linked
here: It Appears That Eight SEALS Thought To Be Blown Up over Afghanistan fought on the ground until they were killed by the Taliban.
Is an internet kill switch test being conducted upon individual stories
that TPTB want censored? Check out the video below from Christopher
Greene about Barack Obama’s ‘internet kill switch’ executive order.
Beforeitsnews found it quite odd that certain readers in various
locations were unable to access this story via our newsletter, despite
the fact that they WERE able to access every other story in our
newsletter AND despite the fact that most other readers were also able
to access this story from our newsletter, so we decided to ask a few
questions. What we’ve found out was enough to make us realize that it
appears that an ‘internet kill switch’ test is in effect and that this
story was ‘selected’ to be censored by TPTB. First of all, why would
they censor THAT particular story? Does it have anything at all to do
with the Pentagon seeking to regain control of the flow of information
in America, as referenced by this story?
In a groveling public display earlier this week, the Department of
Defense announced plans to increase its public affairs efforts due to
the devastating effect independent media is having on the Pentagon’s
ability to control its news, more specifically, its ability to quash
negative news stories before they go viral.
On Thursday, the DoD bemoaned DrudgeReport.com and
the fact that, because of citizen journalists, social media and other
online platforms reporting news in real time, the public is more quickly
becoming aware of the constant patterns of contradictions and habitual
lying by a government long ago captured by a group of corrupt interests.
“..we cannot hide our bad news stories. Bad news gets out one way or
the other and we must come to terms with telling bad stories as well as
the good,” the secretary of defense for public affairs, George Little, stated at the Defense Media Activity’s headquarters on Fort Meade in Maryland.
“When bad things happen, the American people should hear it from us, not as a scoop on the Drudge Report,” Little said.
Beforeitsnews readers can assist us in determining the exact nature of
this ‘attack’ by leaving comments below about whether or not you have
had the same problem and if so, where are you located and who is your internet provider?
Also, what is the exact error message you are getting? Do the other
links on that page work for you and click through fine? Which OS (e.g.
mac, win7, etc) are you using? Which browser (e.g. Chrome, IE, etc)? Any
special security programs on your system? At this point in time, we
have found that AT&T, AOL and Charter have been blocking the “8
SEALS” story. Why?
Though the video below from Christopher Greene was from July of 2012,
in light of recent events here at Beforeitsnews, it is none the less
relevant.
