JUST ANOTHER SECRET SERVICE SNAFU…?     um~hum yea right ?  all before our i's ...again

This one is strange folks, very strange…
Many of you shared various versions of this news story with me, and in fact, it even became a topic of discussion during our last members’s vidchat for a very brief period, and frankly, I have to admit that when I first heard of it, I had that queasy sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. The story is this:
Secret Service SNAFU Deja Vu: Fake Congressman Gets Backstage At Obama Dinner
You probably caught the same thing I did:
The unidentified man said he was Representative Donald Payne Jr., a Democrat from New Jersey, the official said. One member of the White House staff determined that the man wasn’t Payne, and another asked him to leave, the official said. He did so without incident and wasn’t detained.
“‘This guy went through security, fully screened,’ he said.
” Neither the White House official, nor another administration official aware of the incident, could say how close the man got to the president or First Lady Michelle Obama, who was also in the vicinity. Payne’s chief of staff, LaVerne Alexander, said yesterday that she had not been informed of the incident.”(All emphases in the original)
Now, if you’re like me, you probably thought, “Now wait a minute…” To get through “security, fully screened,” implies that the individual, who was incomprehensibly released(!)somehow managed to have identification good enough to get through the Presidential security in the first place, and that implies some sort of professional operation and backing. Or, if not, that “someone on the inside” waved him through security! At the minimum, one would at least think that the individual would have been detained for impersonating a Federal official, which is, if I recall correctly, an indictable federal felonious offense. So the very fact of a release has a high odor to it, not to mention the fact that he made it through security in the first place, and – reading between the lines a bit – apparently was in some sort of proximity to the President, Members of Congress, and the First Lady!
All of this suggests to me that, again, someone, somewhere, was perhaps wanting to send a message to the President, whether it be “stay on script” or “you’re going too far off script,” the message possibility remains. Recall the incident from the first Obama Administration, when the President hosted a state dinner for visiting Prime Minister Singh of India. You’ll recall that there, once again, the Secret Service was apparently “lapse” as two people who were not on any official invitation list managed to gain admittance to the dining hall. And need we really recall the real precedent behind all of this? Need we really recall the Dallas Chief of Police in 1963, Jesse Curry, confidently reassuring everyone prior to President Kennedy’s visit to that city, that there would be a heavy Dallas police security net, when we saw little to none lining the streets of Dallas? Need we really recall those videos of President Kennedy’s secret service guards being ordered away from his limousine at Dallas Love Field at the start of the motorcade?
In any case, anyone with the power to call off security on any leader, or to arrange for documentation good enough to fool it, or, for that matter, place people at the security check points able to “wave people through,” has to be very highly placed indeed.
So…no… It has a high odor to it, folks, a high odor It’s yet another small(well, really, not small at all) indication that there is some sort of factional split playing out before our eyes in the District of Corruption. We just need to keep our eyes peeled.
