Gun Control, Thought Control and People Control

The gun control debate, like all debates with the left, is reducible to the question of whether we are individuals who make our own decisions or a great squishy social mass that helplessly responds to stimuli. Do people kill with guns or does the availability of guns kill people? Do bad eating habits kill people or does the availability of junk food kill people?

To the left these are distinctions without a difference. If a thing is available then it is the cause of the problem. The individual cannot be held accountable for shooting someone if there are guns for sale. Individuals have no role to play because they are not moral actors, only members of a mob responding to stimuli.

You wouldn't blame a dog for overeating; you blame the owners for overfeeding him. Nor do you blame a dog for biting a neighbor. You might punish him, but the punishment is training, not a recognition of authentic responsibility on the part of the canine. And the way that you think of a dog, is the way that the left thinks of you. When you misbehave, the left looks around for your owner.

The cult of the left believes that it is engaged in a great apocalyptic battle with corporations and industrialists for the ownership of the unthinking masses. Its acolytes see themselves as the individuals who have been "liberated" to think for themselves. They make choices. You however are just a member of the unthinking masses. You are not really a person, but only respond to the agendas of your corporate overlords. If you eat too much, it's because corporations make you eat. If you kill, it's because corporations encourage you to buy guns. You are not an individual. You are a social problem.

Individual behavior is a symptom of a social problem. Identify the social problem and you fix the behavior. The individual is nothing, the crowd is everything. Control the mass and you control the individual.

That is how the left approached this election. Instead of appealing to individual interests, they went after identity groups. They targeted low information voters and used behavioral science to find ways to manipulate people. The right treated voters like human beings. The left treated them like lab monkeys. And the lab monkey approach is triumphantly toted by progressives as proof that the left is more intelligent than the right. And what better proof of intelligence can there be than treating half the country like buttons of unthinking responses that you can push to get them to do what you want.

Would you let a lab monkey own a gun? Hell no. Would you let it choose what to eat? Only as an experiment. Would you let it vote for laws in a referendum? Not unless it's trained to push the right button. Would you let it drive a car? Nope. Maybe a bicycle. And if it has to travel a long way, you'll encourage it to use mass transit. Does a monkey have freedom of speech? Only until it annoys you.

You'll take away most of the monkey's bananas, which you're too lazy to go and find for yourself because you have more important things to do than fetch bananas. You train monkeys to fetch bananas for you. That is how the enlightened elites of the left see the workers whose taxes they harvest; as monkeys that they taught in their schools and created jobs for with their stimulus plans for. And the least that the monkeys could do is pay their taxes, because the monkeys didn’t build that. You did.

You do plan to take care of monkey's medical expenses, at least until they get too high, and spay and neuter it with free birth control. You will train it to be the smartest and most well-behaved monkey it can be. And when it gets too sick, you plan to have it mercifully put down so it doesn't hang around spreading diseases and depressing you with its misery.

And what's wrong with any of that? Human beings are just evolved monkeys. It's not as if you're being cruel to the monkey. You're engaged in what you might charitably think of as a symbiotic relationship with the monkey. If the monkey were smart, it might think of you as a parasite. But you have a whole lot of rounds of ammunition stockpiled in case of a Planet of the Apes scenario.

If you assume that there is as much of a substantive difference between the elite and the common man as there is between a man and a monkey, there is nothing particularly inappropriate about such behavior. We herd animals. Liberals herd people. The human being is the livestock of the liberal animal farm.

The Nazis believed that they were the master race because they were genetically superior. Liberals believe that they are the master race on account of their superior empathy and intelligence. There's an obvious paradox in believing that you have the right to enslave and kill people because you care more, but that didn't stop millions of people from joining in with revolutions that led to a century of bloodshed in the name of movements that cared more. 

The defining American code is freedom. The defining liberal code is compassion. Conservatives have attempted to counter that by defining freedom as compassionate, as George W. Bush did. Liberals counter by attempting to define compassion as liberating, the way that FDR did by classing freedoms with entitlements in his Four Freedoms.

On one side stands the individual with his rights and responsibilities. On the other side is the remorseless state machinery of supreme compassion. And there is no bridging this gap.

Liberal compassion is not the compassion of equals. It is a revolutionary pity that uses empathy only as fuel for outrage. It is the sort of compassion practiced by people who like to be angry and who like to pretend that their anger makes them better people. It is the sort of compassion that eats like poison into the bones of a man or a society, even while swelling their egos with their own wonderfulness.

Compassion of this sort is outrage fuel. It is hatred toward people masquerading as love. And that hatred is a desire for power masquerading as outrage which in turn is dressed up as a deep love for others and empathy for all living creatures. Peel away the mask of compassion and all that is underneath is a terrible lust for power. And the only way to truly justify the kind of total power summoned by such lusts is by reducing the people you would rule over to the status of non-persons.

The clash that will define the future of America is this collision between the individual and the state, between disorganized freedom and organized compassion, between a self-directed experiment in self-government and an experiment conducted by trained experts on a lab monkey population. And the defining idea of this conflict is accountability.

To understand the left's position on nearly any issue, imagine a 20th Century American and then take away accountability. Assume that the individual is helpless and stupid, has little to no control over his own behavior and is only responding to stimuli and functions in a purely reactive capacity. Then use that data to come up with a response to anything from kids getting fat to a football player shooting his wife to terrorists firing rockets at Israel. The only possible answer to reactive behavior is to find the thing being reacted to and condemn it.

If you want to fake being a member of the left on any topic and in any setting, master this simple phrase. "But we have to look at the root causes to see who is really responsible." Congratulations, you can now get by anywhere from Caracas to Brussels to Berkeley.

The root cause is a perpetual search for an accountability vested in systems rather than people. That search always ends up with systems and ideologies, rather than mere people, because it justifies the destruction of those systems and ideologies. And destroying systems and ideologies allows them to be replaced by their progressive replacements.

The final failure of accountability for the left is a failure of moral organization, while for the right it is a failure of personal character. The right asks, "Why did you kill?" The left asks, "Who let him have a gun?", "Who didn't provide him with a job" and "Who neglected his self-esteem?"

Freedom goes hand in hand with personal moral organization of the individual by the individual. Organized compassion however requires the moral organization of the society as a whole. A shooting is not a failure of the character of one man alone, or even his family and social circle, it is the total failure of our entire society and perhaps even the world, for not leveraging a sufficient level of moral organization that would have made such a crime impossible. No man is an island. Every man is a traffic jam.

Social accountability on this scale requires the nullification of the personhood and accountability of the individual, just as the moral organization that it mandates requires removing the freedom of choice of the individual, to assure a truly moral society. When compassion and morality are collective, then everyone and no one is moral and compassionate at the same time. And that is the society of the welfare state where compassion is administered by a salaried bureaucracy.

Choice is what makes us moral creatures and collective compassion leaves us less than human. The collective society of mass movements and mass decisions leaves us little better than lab monkeys trying to compose Shakespeare without understanding language, meaning or ideas, or anything more than the rote feel of our fingers hitting the keyboard.

This is the society that the left is creating, a place filled with as many social problems as there are people, where everyone is a lab monkey except the experts running the experiments, and where no one has any rights because freedom is the enemy of a system whose moral code derives from creating a perfect society by replacing the individual with the mass. It is a society where there is no accountability, only constant compulsion. It is a society where you are a social problem and there are highly paid experts working day and night to figure out how to solve you.

For anyone who is even passively aware of current events and the condition of humanity across the globe, it is abundantly clear that both the nation and the world as a whole are moving further and further into a state of oppression and total lockdown.

From the traditional macro-events which are taking place at the international and global levels to the micro-events (or seemingly micro) that are taking place at the national, state, and local arenas, the opportunity for optimism in the outcome of the decisions made seems to be few and far between.

Indeed, in order to find areas where battles are won by those on the ground fighting against an encroaching police state, further pollution of the environment, war, proliferation of GMOs, or related causes, one must search on average one hundred times harder than would otherwise be necessary to locate the news of another defeat. The headlines from both the mainstream and alternative media outlets suggest only greater accomplishments of the system (New World Order/Anglo-American Establishment/Shadow World Government, etc.) with each passing day.

Obviously, the mainstream media is intent and focused on the further brainwashing and propagandizing of the world’s people, blatantly promoting their enslavement for those who are aware of the methods used, further implanting the accepted opinions of the future in the minds of the masses who are not. The constant replay of a laundry list of possible catastrophes - those that have occurred and those that might occur - serve to wrap the human mind in a cloak of continual panic and subconscious desire to protect oneself by any means necessary.


That method of protection, of course, is readily served up by the mainstream media under the guise of sacrificing freedom for security, which the victims of the propaganda continue to fall for on an ever-increasing scale. Whether the initial incident is 9/11, mass shootings, flu outbreaks,[1] or financial calamity, the unchanging trend is FEAR and the unchanging solution is the sacrifice of basic human rights under the guise that government, its agents or agencies, will act as the protectors.

It has been the case ever since 9/11, most notably, that the population has been subjected to a campaign of terror by their governments, corporations, “experts,” and financiers. Fear is the order of the day. An entire generation of humanity has been reduced to a terrified and ignorant mass of beggars, pleading with what they see as “authorities” to protect them from the very dangers the oligarchy themselves have visited upon them.

This constant state of fear allows those few in positions of real power to control the many by virtue of the reptilian brain, which at all times seeks safety, protection, and survival. If a population has been propagandized to believe in an enemy, real or imagined, and then subjected to terror under the aegis of that enemy, then the minds of the many are ready molds in the hands of the few.

A constant state of fear clouds clear judgment. It does not allow for rational responses, only irrational reactions. A continual state of fear wrecks the body, the immune system, and the quality of life experienced by those embroiled in the condition. In the end, the fear that has wrecked the body will only produce more fear with the inevitable illness that results.

Lastly, according to some, fear operates at a much lower vibration than that of love, joy, and contentment. Thus, an individual caught in a cycle of fear is entirely incapable of achieving any higher level of consciousness that may allow them to combat the control system on a spiritual or energetic level.

The alternative media, however, which has expanded exponentially in recent years, has done yeomen’s service in combating much of the propaganda issued from their corporate counterparts. Whether the issue be one of those mentioned above or some other aspect of our society, the alternative media is filling a void left by the corporate mainstream media. There is no question that the alternative media is providing a vital service for any movement or revolution that is to take place in the United States or any other nation.

However, for those of us actively involved in the alternative media and this movement that seeks to establish a more peaceful, equitable, and free world for ourselves and our progeny, it is important that we do not become that which we fight against. It is important that we do not become tools of the system ourselves and contribute to establishing a constant state of fear for those who access alternative media outlets for their information or even for those of us who research, report, and comment upon it.

This is by no means a suggestion to cease reporting or researching unpleasant topics. On the contrary, we must continue to unearth and shed light on nefarious secrecy whenever possible. We must continue to report the day-to-day events with a lens undiluted by government and corporate money or by any agenda other than that of basic humanity and freedom. We must continue to acknowledge and sound the alarm over current events that others may be unaware of or otherwise dis-informed.

However, it is now necessary that we do more than simply report on the recently unveiled methods of enslavement that we face along with an eye as to how much worse our plight will be tomorrow. We cannot continue to terrorize ourselves into a state of hysteria, to become a sizable portion of society whose eyes are now opened but only so that we can see our inevitable destruction.

I do not believe our destruction is inevitable.

As a result, I demand to see a way forward, not new and creative ways to solidify the fact that I am a slave.

The alternative media and “the movement” (for lack of a better term) have become experts at documenting the daily dissolution of our rights. We have become skilled artisans in the area of constructing a journal of our plight. Unfortunately, it is also true that, in our current state, the best we can hope for may be that, in the distant future, some curious observer (if curiosity still exists) may come into contact with our work and puzzle at the curious writings that have come into his possession. But this is no future for us and it is no future for the one who discovers the remnants of a past to which he can no longer relate.

Unfortunately, in becoming experts at journal keeping during the collapse and restructuring of human civilization, the alternative media and the modern revolutionary have seemingly become content to merely report the unfolding history as opposed to actively taking part in it.

Thankfully, there are those involved in both the alternative media and the movement in general who are not only willing to hear solutions but are both willing and capable of producing them. Still, scarcely are those voices raised before catcalls of pessimism are hurled back in their direction. Shouts of “that will never happen,” and “but how do we get to that point?” or “we don’t have the numbers” inevitably drown out those that are at least attempting to develop a plan to change the course of the nation and the earth. Obviously, petty squabbles over political pedigree are bound to come into play, with tendencies left over from past experiences, further alienating activists and researchers from one another.

Yet, for all of the bickering back and forth, the fact is that numbers alone will not bring change if they are merely numbers in their own right. As Webster Tarpley has stated on numerous occasions, opinions alone count for nothing. What matters is coordinated political action.

Simple education and outreach is not enough. If we can reach the majority of the public, we have accomplished a great feat. However, if all we have accomplished is educating them in regards to their fate, with no coordinated effort to reverse the course of society, then we have only wasted our energy and made our descent into abject slavery that much more painful a process.

With this is in mind, it is important to understand that there can be no coordinated action based on a series of complaints. Every mass movement needs a program; a set of demands. It is in no way prudent to take to the streets with a series of complaints and no programmatic solution of how to address these complaints. To the uninformed masses, the question looms like an albatross: “What are you going to do if you seize power?” It is incumbent upon those of us involved in redirecting this system to answer that question clearly with a program of our own. After all, as Frederick Douglass once stated, “Power concedes nothing without a demand.”

Thus, it is high time to put our personal differences aside, as well as our philosophical and political ideologies, and begin to form a coalition around a set of demands that both appeals to the American people and articulates a program that will return the basic civil liberties afforded to every American in the United States Constitution as well as the basic human rights afforded to every human being by the Creator (whatever one believes it to be) by virtue of being born.

We must begin to build a coalition of like-minded individuals and organizations, but also of those people and organizations that are further afield, in order to advance our own political agenda. A united front must be constructed where the individuals and organizations retain their individuality and independence, but one in which they have come together under one common banner with the ability to unite their forces for a common purpose.

Thankfully, this model has already begun to appear in at least two locations across the world with at least some degree of success. The first, the Syriza party of Greece, represents a grouping of political parties, activist organizations, unions, and other arrangements that alone counted for nothing in terms of political clout. When united under a common front – the Syriza party – these organizations were able to accumulate over 40% of the vote in the first election campaign.

exhibited several necessary ingredients to the formation of a successful coalition, most notably that of a program that spelled out the steps and requirements to end austerity measures in Greece and repair the damage done to the Greek economy by the banker-dominated government at home and in Brussels.

Syriza exhibited expert leadership with the Presidential candidate Alexis Tsipras in front and center of its electoral and public relations campaign. It also demonstrated the ability to reach across national boundaries to connect with similar coalitions and organizations outside of Greece for potential international support.

The fact that Syriza has enjoyed so much success early on in Greek elections not only provides us with much-needed hope regarding our own situation, it also provides us with the ability to analyze which models work and which models do not, along with the ability to analyze how this degree of success was accomplished.

Fortunately, there are some who have learned the lessons of Syriza here in the United States and, as a result, a coalition has been organized and developed within our own borders. Based on the Syriza model, the United Front Against Austerity (UFAA) has itself constructed a set of demands and a program of political solutions. The UFAA is currently working to agitate alongside a variety of organizations that have themselves been splintered by stealthy politics and propaganda on the part of the oligarchy. The UFAA is attempting to build its own base and circle of influence.

The UFAA’s program is one that stands against austerity measures and the cutting and gutting of the social safety net. It is one which exhibits the best aspects of the New Deal, while drastically improving upon the economic rejuvenation features of that historical program. The program also demands Medicare For All, the de-militarization of police, the restoration of civil liberties to the American people, an end to foreign wars, and a more enlightened approach to health and medicine that includes holistic and alternative methods.

However, the UFAA, as anyone building a coalition of this nature should be, is aware that a truly successful political mobilization of the American people can only be structured around the economic issues that they face; not false flag attacks, wars, education, the environment, or any other topic of concern, as important as they may be.

Coalitions centered around false flags face the uphill battle of massive and in-depth education efforts before any mobilization is possible. Anti-war, education and environmentally-based coalitions generally rely on only a quarter of the potential support due to the disassociation and apathy experienced and expressed by most of the populace toward these concerns, at least in terms of political participation.

Economic concerns, however, are the one issue that not only affects every single American, but it is the one issue that most Americans perceive as affecting them. For this reason, any coalition that wishes to attract broad support must use economic solutions to build itself up and ride a wave of popular support into power. In addition, it is important to understand that Austrian school economics of laissez-faire capitalism, deregulation of the banking and finance industry, and the cutting and gutting of social safety programs cannot and should not be used to build such a coalition. Not only are the moral implications disastrous for everyone except the very wealthy, such programs are not likely to win the support of the American people, many of whom may actually rely on one or more of these programs as a last line of defense against homelessness, hunger, or extreme poverty.

Lastly, the forming of a true coalition must be undertaken with much more than mere elections in mind. It is a fact that any and all social and political movements in the United States are vastly stronger without the Republican and Democratic parties, as the failure of the Union protests in Wisconsin have illustrated. Thus, while elections will inevitably enter into the picture, they must also inevitable exclude the two major parties. The most pressing matter facing any coalition, like the United Front Against Austerity, is a forcing of the issues into the mainstream and the seizing of power by the coalition in the vacuum that will ensue.

The method of the coalition must be the general strike. If the coalition merely becomes a lobbying group for the two major parties, then the effort is wasted. If it becomes merely another third party, the effort is equally useless. However, if the coalition is able to become a force within its own right, a part, and an organization which can command the workers into the streets, then the path toward victory is real and attainable.

As Mario Savio once stated,

There's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part! You can't even passively take part! And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels…upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop! And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all!

The United States now finds itself in a crisis. It is true that the crisis exists on multiple levels and it is true that we are surrounded by an American population that seems oblivious to it. However, as Rahm Emmanuel, the former Obama Chief of Staff and current mayor of Chicago has stated, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.” But the question to be asked is, “Why should the oligarchs be the only ones to take advantage of a crisis?” If Rahm Emmanuel can seize the fear and emotion surrounding a crisis, then why can a coordinated coalition of organizations and individuals not do the same?

If the 33rd Degree of Freemasonry can profess to create Order out of Chaos (Ordo ab Chao), then why can we not do the same where that chaos exists?

In the end, we have a very small window of opportunity opening up before us. We also have some hard choices to make. We can continue to document our own destruction, or we can mount a resistance to it.

We can continue to make a detailed journal of the dissolution of our way of life, or we can organize in its defense.

The time for talking has passed.

It is now time for action.

In a general request for volunteers [deleted names] volunteered for H [hypnosis] experimentation and were originally tested on 21 May 1951. Both girls, at this time, were nineteen years of age. These subjects have clearly demonstrated that they can pass from a fully awake state to a deep H controlled state via the telephone, via some very subtle signal that cannot be detected by other persons in the room, and without the other individuals being able to note the change.

It has been shown clearly that physically individuals can be induced into H by telephone, by receiving written matter, or by the use of code, signal, or words. Control of those hypnotized can be passed from one individual to another without great difficulty. It has also been shown by experimentation with these girls that they can act as unwilling couriers for information purposes, and that they can be conditioned to a point where they believe a change in identity on their part even on the polygraph.

Note: This document shows that CIA experimenters were successful in hypnotizing young women (19 years old in this case) to do things they would not do normally without any memory afterward, sometimes even unwillingly. Though they volunteered, these women were thus programmed to be Manchurian Candidates or super spies with no knowledge of what these men were doing to them.

In other cases drugs and psychological tricks will be used to modify his attitudes. The experimenters will be particularly interested in disassociative states, from the abaissement de niveau mental to multiple personality in so-called mediums, and an attempt will be made to induce a number of states of this kind, using hypnosis.

Note: This document provides proof that the CIA was was using drugs and electric shock in attempting to induce MPD (multiple personality disorder). Though this document uses the masculine "he" to describe the subject, other documents show that most of the subjects used were young women who volunteered. A posthypnotic of the night before (pointed finger, you will sleep) was enacted. Misses [deleted] and [deleted] immediately progressed to a deep hypnotic state with no further suggestion. Miss [deleted] was then instructed (having previously expressed a fear of firearms in any fashion) that she would use every method at her disposal to awaken miss [deleted] (now in a deep hypnotic sleep), and failing this, she would pick up a pistol nearby and fire it at Miss [deleted]. She was instructed that her rage would be so great that she would not hesitate to "kill" [deleted] for failing to awaken.

Miss [deleted] carried out these suggestions to the letter including firing the (unloaded pneumatic pistol) gun at [deleted] and then proceeding to fall into a deep sleep. After proper suggestions were made, both were awakened and expressed complete amnesia for the entire sequence. Miss [deleted] was again handed the gun, which she refused (in an awakened state) to pick up or accept form the operator. She expressed absolute denial that the foregoing sequence had happened.

Miss [deleted] felt reluctant about participating further since she expressed her doubt as to any useful purpose in further attendance. The Operator thereupon proceeded in full view of all other subjects to explain to Miss [deleted] that he planned to induce a deep state of hypnosis now. The reaction was as had been expected. Miss [deleted] excused herself to make a telephone call (defense mechanism?). Upon her return a very positive approach was adopted by the operator whereupon a deeper, much deeper state of hypnosis was obtained.

Immediately a posthypnotic was induced that when the operator accidently dropped a steel ball in his hand to the floor ... Miss [deleted] would again go into hypnosis. Miss [deleted] then advised that she must conclude her work for the evening. She arose to adjust her hair before the mirror. The ball was dropped and she promptly slumped back into the chair and back into hypnosis. It is the opinion of the operator the Miss [deleted] if properly trained (positive approach) will continue to improve.

Note: Here we have proof that these women could be converted into unsuspecting and even unwilling assassins. They could be programmed to assassinate anyone and would do so without any conscious knowledge afterward. Note also the questionable status of "volunteer" implied. Though these women originally volunteered, unwillingness to continue could be manipulated by the men running the program.

Prior to actually beginning the more complex experiments, several simple post H were worked with both of the girls participating. The first major experiment of the evening was set up as follows without previous explanation to either [deleted] or [deleted]. Both subjects were placed in a very deep trance state and while in this state, the following instructions were given:

(A) [Deleted] was instructed that when she awakened, she was to procede to [deleted] room. She was told that while there, she would receive a telephone call from an individual whom she would know only as "Joe". This individual would engage her in a normal telephone conversation. During this conversation, this individual would give her a code word and upon mentioning the code word, [deleted] would go into a deep SI [sleep induction] trance state, but would be "normal" in appearance with her eyes open.

[Deleted] was then told that upon the conclusion of the telephone conversation, she would procede to the ladies room where she would meet a girl who was unknown to her. She was told that she would strike up a conversation with this girl and during the conversation she would mention the code word "New York" to this other girl, who, in turn, would give her a device and further instructions which were to be carried out by [deleted]. She was told that after she carried out the instructions, she was to return to the Operations Room, sit in the sofa and go immediately into a deep sleep.

(B) [Deleted] was instructed that upon awakening, she would proceed to [deleted] room where she would wait at the desk for a telephone call. Upon receiving the call, a person known as "Jim" would engage her in normal conversation. During the course of the conversation, this individual would mention a code word to [deleted]. When she heard this code word, she would pass into a SI trance state, but would not close her eyes and remain perfectly normal and continue the telephone conversation. She was told that upon conclusion of the telephone conversation, she would then carry out the following instructions:

[Deleted] being in a complete SI state at this time, was then told to open her eyes and was shown an electric timing device. She was informed that this timing device was an incendiary bomb and was then instructed how to attach and set the device. After [deleted] had indicated that she had learned how to set and attach the device, she was told to return to a sleep state and further instructed that upon concluding the aforementioned conversation, she would take the timing device which was in a briefcase and proceed to the ladies room.

In the ladies room, she would be met by a girl whom she had never seen who would identify herself by the code word "New York." [Deleted] was then to show this individual how to attach and set the timing device and further instructions would be given the individual by [deleted] that the timing device was to be carried in the briefcase to [deleted] room, placed in the nearest empty electric-light plug and concealed in the bottom, left-hand drawer of [deleted] desk, with the device set for 82 seconds and turned on.

[Deleted] was further instructed to tell this other girl that as soon as the device had been set and turned on, she was to take the briefcase, leave [deleted] room, go to the operations room and go to the sofa and enter a deep sleep state. [Deleted] was further instructed that after completion of instructing the other girl and the transferring to the other girl of the incendiary bomb, she was to return at once to the operations room, sit on the sofa, and go into a deep sleep state.

For a matter of record, immediately after the operation was begun it was noted that a member of the charforce was cleaning the floor in the ladies room and subsequently, both [deleted] and [deleted] had to be placed ... once again in a trance state and instructions changed from the ladies room to Room 3. It should be noted that even with the change of locale in the transfer point, the experiment was carried off perfectly without any difficulty or hesitation on the part of either of the girls. Each girl acted out their part perfectly, the device was planted and set as directed and both girls returned to the operations room, sat on the sofa and entered a deep sleep state. Throughout, their movements were easy and natural.

Note: You will note the frequent use of "girls" (young women) in these programs. Do you think the men in charge, having complete hypnotic control of these women, might have at times taken advantage of them sexually? Yet this would never enter the official documentation, with the one major exception below.

On 2 July 1951 approximately 1:00 p.m. the instruction began with [deleted] relating to the student some of his sexual experiences. [Deleted] stated that he had constantly used hypnotism as a means of inducing young girls to engage in sexual intercourse with him. [Deleted], a performer in [deleted] orchestra, was forced to engage in sexual intercourse with [deleted] while under the influence of hypnotism. [Deleted] stated that he first put her into a hypnotic trance and then suggested to her that he was her husband and that she desired sexual intercourse with him.

Note: This document shows that an instructor being used by the CIA took advantage of his skill in hypnosis to sexually abuse young women without their having any knowledge of being abused. How many CIA hypnotists did likewise? Do you think a man involved in these programs might take advantage of a beautiful, young woman knowing she would not remember afterward? Preliminary clinical research during 1955-56 has yielded promising leads in terms of knowledge of how hypnotizability can be influenced by pharmacological means. Experiments involving altered personality function as a result of environmental manipulation (chiefly sensory isolation) have yielded promising leads in terms of suggestibility and the production of trance-like states. There is reason to believe that environmental manipulations can affect tendencies for dissociative phenomenon to occur.

Note: "Dissociative phenomenon" refers to the ability of a person's consciousness to leave and a new consciousness enter, thereby facilitation the creation of "alter" or multiple personalities. Besides hypnosis, drugs and electric shocks were developed as means to facilitate the creation of Manchurian Candidates.

It was deemed advisable to prepare the report of the MKULTRA program in one copy only, in view of its unusual sensitivity. The MKULTRA activity is concerned with the research and development of chemical, biological, and radiological materials capable of employment in clandestine operation to control human behavior. MKULTRA was authorized by then Director of Central Intelligence [DCI], Allen W. Dulles, in 1953.

The concepts involved in manipulating human behavior are found by many people both within and outside the Agency to be distasteful and unethical. Nevertheless, there have been major accomplishments both in research and operational employment. Some MKULTRA activities raise questions of legality implicit in the original charter. A final phase of testing of MKULTRA products places the rights and interests of U.S. citizens in jeopardy. Public disclosure of some aspects of MKULTRA activity could induce serious adverse reaction in U.S. public opinion. The DCI's memorandum ... exempted MKULTRA from audit.

Over the ten-year life of the program many additional avenues to the control of human behavior have been designated by the TSD management [Technical Services Division - under which MKULTRA operated] as appropriate to investigation under the MKULTRA charter, including radiation, electro-shock, various fields of psychology, psychiatry, sociology, and anthropology, graphology, harassment substances, and paramilitary devices and materials.

TSD initiated a program for covert testing of materials on unwitting U.S. citizens in 1955. TSD has pursued a philosophy of minimum documentation in keeping with the high sensitivity of some of the projects. The lack of consistent records precluded use of routine inspection procedures and raised a variety of questions concerning management and fiscal controls.

There are just two individuals in TSD who have full substantive knowledge of the program and most of that knowledge is unrecorded. In protecting both the sensitive nature of the American intelligence capability to manipulate human behavior, they apply "need to know" doctrine to their professional associates and to their clerical assistants to a maximum degree.

Note: Why did only two people have full substantive knowledge of the program? Could it be that sex abuse and political manipulations behind the scenes were so severe that no one was to be trusted? Do you think we could trust those two individuals? CIA Director Richard Helms, upon hearing there would be a Congressional investigation, ordered the destruction of all documents from these unethical and at times illegal mind control programs in 1973. He did not realize, however, that incriminating evidence remained in the financial files of the agency, which are what you read here. We can only imagine what secrets the destroyed documents held.

Approximately 6% of the projects are of such an ultra-sensitive nature that they cannot and should not be handled by means of contracts which would associate CIA or the Government with the work in question.

We intend to investigate the development of a chemical material which causes a reversible non-toxic aberrant mental state, the specific nature of which can be reasonably well predicted for each individual. This material could potentially aid in discrediting individuals, eliciting information, implanting suggestion and other forms of mental control.

In a great many instances the work in field (a) must be conducted by individuals who are not and should not be aware of our interest. In all cases dealing with field (b), it is mandatory that any connections with the Agency should be known only to an absolute minimum number of people who have been specifically cleared for this purpose.

Experience has shown that qualified, competent individuals in the field of pharmacological, physiological, psychiatric and other biological sciences are most reluctant to enter into signed agreements of any sort which connect them with this activity since such a connection would jeopardize their professional reputations. Even internally in CIA, as few individuals as possible should be aware of our interest in these fields and of the identity of those who are working for us. At present, this results in ridiculous contracts, with cut-outs, which do not spell out the scope or intent of the work.

Q: What are your experiences in general with hypnotism?

A: I have been a professional hypnotist for at least 15 years. At present, I am employed on a very confidential basis two days a week.

Q: Can you obtain information from an individual, willing or unwilling, by hypnotism?

A: Definitely, yes. Many of the medical cases I work on are involved in obtaining personal, intimate information, and through hypnotism, I have been quite successful in obtaining this. If an individual refuses to co-operate with hypnosis, the doctors with whom I work use drugs, always sodium amytal.

Q: How far do you think individuals could be controlled by hypnosis?

A: This is a very difficult subject. Post-hypnotics will last twenty years and will be very strong if re-enforced from time to time.

Q: Have you ever had any experience with drugs?

A: Yes, many times. I have worked with doctors using sodium amytal and pentothal and have obtained hypnotic control after the drugs were used. In fact, many times drugs were used for the purpose of obtaining hypnotic control.

Q: Do you have any ideas that hypnotism could be used as a weapon?

A: Yes, I have thought about this often. It could certainly be used in obtaining information from recalcitrant people particularly with drugs. It could be used as a recruiting source for special types of work. A good hypnotist running hypnotic shows for entertainment would pick up a great many subjects, some of whom might be exceptionally good subjects for us. These subjects could easily be tabbed and put to use.

Q: Have you ever been able to produce hypnosis without an individual's knowledge?

A: Yes, through the relaxing technique and on rare occasions [I've] been able to produce hypnotism against a person's will. However, you cannot count on this and to attempt to attach an individual who did not want to be hypnotized alone would be almost an impossible task. In that type of case, I would use sodium amytal and/or sodium pentothal.

Q: How effective are post-hypnotics; over what distances and time can they be effective?

A: Properly used post-hypnotics will last twenty years. They can be made more effective by re-enforcement from time to time. Post-hypnotics are not affected at all by time or travel or distance away from the person who placed the post-hypnotic. As a rule, post-hypnotics should be 100% effective in good subjects.

Q: Can individuals be made to do things under hypnosis that they would not otherwise?

A: Individuals could be taught to do anything including murder, suicide, etc. I do believe that you could carry out acts that would be against an individual's moral feelings if they were rightly, psychologically conditioned.

Note: Individuals can be hypnotized without their knowledge. They can be programmed to commit murder, suicide, and much more. Think about the implications. How many "suicides" of important people we've heard in the news were not really suicides? How many murders were committed by people who didn't even realize they were assassins? How much has this technology been used to manipulate world politics? Think about the Kennedys, Martin Luther King, Jr., and possibly those involved with 9/11 and other major terrorist attacks. Set out below are specific problems which can only be resolved by experiment, testing and research.

• Can we obtain control of the future activities (physical and mental) of any given individual, willing or unwilling by application of SI [sleep induction] and H [hypnosis] techniques?


• Can we create by post-H control an action contrary to an individual's basic moral principles?


• Can we in a matter of an hour, two hours, one day, etc., induce an H condition in an unwilling subject to such an extent that he will perform an act for our benefit?


• Could we seize a subject and in the space of an hour or two by post-H control have him crash an airplane, wreck a train, etc.?


• Can we by H and SI techniques force a subject (unwilling or otherwise) to travel long distances, commit specified acts and return to us or bring documents or materials?


• Can we guarantee total amnesia under any and all conditions?


• Can we "alter" a person's personality?


• Can we devise a system for making unwilling subjects into willing agents and then transfer that control to untrained agency agents in the field by use of codes or identifying signs?


• Is it possible to find a gas that can be used to gain SI control from a gas pencil, odorless, colorless: one shot, etc.?


• What are full details on "sleep-inducing machine"?


• How can sodium A or P or any other sleep inducing agent be best concealed in a normal or commonplace item, such as candy, cigarettes, liquer, wines, coffee, tea, beer, gum water, aspirin tablets, common medicines, coke, tooth paste?


• Can we, using SI and H extract complicated formula from scientists, engineers, etc., if unwilling?

Note: Reading all of the declassified CIA documents listed in this essay suggests that the answer to most, if not all of the questions above appears to be yes. Note that sleep inducing agents were being placed in candy, aspirin, Coke, and more. Think about the implications if even just a few of the men in these programs decided to use such things outside of the office to manipulate others for their personal benefit. It's time that this information be made public so we can all be aware of what's going on and work to stop the abuses. Psychologist G. H. Estabrooks reminisces about his long career as a hypnotist. Dr. Estabrooks discusses how he "programmed" American spies with hypnosis and how he helped businessmen and students with his skills. Dr. Estabrooks is a Rhodes Scholar. He took his Doctorate at Harvard ('26), and has authored many articles and books on clinical hypnosis and human behavior.

One of the most fascinating but dangerous applications of hypnosis is its use in military intelligence. This is a field with which I am familiar through formulating guidelines for the techniques used by the United States in two world wars. I was involved in preparing many subjects for this work during World War II.

One successful case involved an Army Service Corps Captain whom we'll call George Smith. Captain Smith had undergone months of training. He was an excellent subject but did not realize it. I had removed from him, by post-hypnotic suggestion, all recollection of ever having been hypnotized. Outside of myself, Colonel Brown was the only person who could hypnotize Captain Smith. This is "locking." I performed it by saying to the hypnotized Captain: "Until further orders from me, only Colonel Brown and I can hypnotize you. We will use a signal phrase 'the moon is clear.' " The system is virtually foolproof.

By the 1920's, not only had they learned to apply post-hypnotic suggestion, [they] also had learned how to split certain complex individuals into multiple personalities like Jeckyl-Hydes.

During World War II, I worked this technique with a vulnerable Marine lieutenant I'll call Jones. Under the watchful eye of Marine Intelligence, I spilt his personality into Jones A and Jones B. Jones A, once a "normal" working Marine, became entirely different. He talked communist doctrine and meant it. He was welcomed enthusiastically by communist cells, was deliberately given a dishonorable discharge by the Corps (which was in on the plot) and became a card-carrying party member.

The joker was Jones B, the second personality, formerly apparent in the conscious Marine. Under hypnosis, this Jones had been carefully coached by suggestion. Jones B was the deeper personality, knew all the thoughts of Jones A, was a loyal American, and was "imprinted" to say nothing during conscious phases. All I had to do was hypnotize the whole man, get in touch with Jones B, the loyal American, and I had a pipeline straight into the Communist camp.

Note: Note that in the 1920s, U.S. military intelligence had already developed the capability to cause split personalities. The created super spy or Manchurian Candidate has been a reality for nearly a century, yet very few people know anything about it. These unknowing spies could plant bombs, provide sexual favors, and even assassinate top political leaders. After reading all of these revealing documents, you may now understand why there is a major part of our history which has never been written. You may better understand how the Kennedy and King assassinations, 9/11, and other terrorist acts were likely manipulated. Beautiful young women could be programmed to seduce, influence, and if necessary even poison top political leaders.
